Currently working full time in HR and relocating to St Kilda road for work. Also completing my Masters in HR so these take up most of my time, but I still like to have fun when I can. I have a good sense of humour and love a chat, but also know personal space is needed. Love food and drinks and keen to explore the southside area :) The last 3 years I've had really good friends as housemates, so would love to chat for a bit first to make sure we get on quite well. Move date is flexible at the moment so can talk about that.
Hi ! I'm French and I found a great job in Melbourne, as a leathersmith. I have a WHV so I want to take the time to discover the city and its people too ! Before that, I lived in two different shared houses in France : one year with 3 other girls and another year with 2 boys and 2 girls. I really loved these experiences and I think I'm a trustworthy, tidy and cheerful person to live with ! I love going out with people, drinking a glass of wine (or two), reading books as well as going to exhibitions or gigs. Eating good-quality food and doing sport are more a "project of life" than a current fact but I'm a very motivated person ! Another thing : My level of english is approximate but I plan on improving it, so I'm looking for patient mates ;) Hope we will get along ! Can't wait to meeting you !
Hey! I am a third year science student at the University of Melbourne. I am also currently working in marketing. I enjoy reading, cooking and I am also vegetarian. I am looking for a place not too far from the university of Melbourne in suburbs such as Brunswick or North Melbourne since I usually only walk or take public transport. I am very reliable in terms of rent payment and have previous experiences in renting before. I am not disruptive and can keep to myself but can also provide company :)
Hi this is Sally ,originally from Korea live in Australia for 7years (Australian citizen now) . I live in Townsville, North Queensland and I'll move to Melbourne end of Jan. I love going out and hang out with friends, travel, hiking, enjoy casual drinking. I bring my friends over sometimes but not big party person. Always clean up afterwards. If you have a rule don't bring guest over please don't contact me. I'm looking for place which is clean, prefer big room , own bathroom, must have a car park, internet available and freindly social share mate. Can hangout together and have a meal sometimes. So looking for someone live with that I can call a friend more than share mate and understanding my broken English:D Thanks:)
Dear People We are two girls fresh to Melbourne, I’m from Germany although you wouldn’t hear it in my accent and Kathryn is from London. We’re both in our mid twenties, thoroughly house trained and are looking for a house to make our home. Ideally in Brunswick East, Collingwood, Fitzroy, Carlton, Richmond or Footscray and on a budget of $200pw. Ideal move in date is the end of this month. We’re both gonna be working in hospitality and although ideally we are looking for two rooms in one house but we also won’t mind sharing a room. What we are really looking for a is a nice house where people don’t just live in the same house but become pals, share meals and glasses of wine and the odd night out. I’m really into cooking and would love to get into some gardening so a house with a nice backyard and a good kitchen as well as a good-sized social area is what we’re looking for. I know that these are things everybody is looking for and as much as I don’t wanna blow our own trumpet too much I can confidently say we are a great addition to any shared house. After four years of living in shared houses we are both well house trained, will clean up after ourselves and I personally find cleanliness pretty damn important so living with me basically means you’ll be living in a clean house. Kathryn did music at uni, I studied hospitality, our interests lie in music, going to gigs and museums, going dancing, dinner parties with the housemates and friends. I’m a sucker for a good Netflix binge watch evening. We both smoke and I’d like a 4/20 friendly house and yes we indulge in the naughty and fun things most of our generation does but if you’re not a party house then we will obviously respect that. Generally we are both easy going, down to earth, outgoing sociable and respectful people that like meeting new people, having a cheeky glass of wine with the housemates or a good group shindig but will also respect everyone’s needs for privacy. If you wanna know anything else about us please just get in touch! Love, Leonie and Kathryn
I'm a Brisbane girl who is transferring from UQ to Monash to study Engineering and major in Developmental Biology - meaning I like to drink. I've lived out of home for a while now and am searching for similar people who like to hang out and share some dinners etc. I'm a fairly clean person especially in the kitchen (it helps as I can't cook) and lounge room and am respectful of others needs. Hoping to move out with about 2 other flat mates, please feel free to message me if you're interested :)
Hi, dear friends! I am about to start 2nd year of Master of IT (computing) and very keen on programming and technologies especially AI, ML. Also, I am 27 years old international student, from Uzbekistan (close to Russia). Currently, I am working as a full-time web developer in Sydney. As a mate Good points about me: I donʻt smoke and prefer people without this bad habit, neat, honest, calm, hardworking, sociable and respectful of otherʻs privacy. Bad points about me: donʻt like parties at home; hate a messy and dirty place. Perfect place will be: Somewhere I can call home and peaceful, with high-speed internet, and not so many people (max 3-4). But the good point is if I find it amazing, I live there for a long period of time (about 1 year). I have got a budget at max $150 per week. Best regards, Bahriddin.
- social work student at RMIT - Personality -wise I've been described by others as like a real life Tina from Bob's Burgers - skills: cooking, opening jars, telling dad jokes - Likes: netflix, drinking various beverages with friends/housemates, old movies, trying new foods, dad jokes, literally all animals - 100% Ravenclaw PS: In case you're looking at starting a team up or you just signed a lease, I come with a tv, coffee table, a microwave and lots of kitchen stuff
I am a professional female who just got a transfer to Melbourne from the company I work for. This is a temporary assignment for 2-3 months at this stage (this could be longer) and I am looking for a place to stay while I am here. Originally from Europe and having travelled and lived around the world, I adapt easily to people and my surroundings. I am a very easy going, clean and considerate individual and like meeting like minded people who respect each other's space and privacy. I am looking for a place where I feel at home with someone/people I can relate to and chat to, close to trams into the city and preferably near the beach.
Hey guys I'm Marine a French girl and I'm currently studying in Melbourne. I've been living in share house for a long time, sharing my room or the flat so I'm really use to collocation :) I'm looking for a private room in order to have my own space but I also enjoy meeting up around a glass of wine and having fun :) I work part-time in education and hospitality sector so I work pretty much 9-5 when I'm not studying. If you have any questions, feel free to ask :) See you soon!
I am a very nice-easy going guy, walker, photographer and writer fully in love with the planet. I am looking for a place in which I can park my car or free parking nearby... Willing to share with grownups in their 30s doing Masters degrees or PhDs or into the arts, I like a lot to exchange creative thinking and work. I like dancing Salsa in the Weekends, life music and sharing a meal with my flatmates, as well as going outside for a movie, to surf or camping.
FLEXIBLE MOVE DATE. Quiet but sociable, intelligent, arty, stylish, friendly, romantic, gay. Able to move any time if you are offering ideal quiet room. I work full-time in education and love walking to work in Parkville as often as possible. Looking for a LARGE ROOM (I have many books and tasteful possessions) in a peaceful, warm, aesthetically-pleasing abode. Preferably aircon in house. Very easygoing, mature, financially sound and conscientious. Bit of a health maven and very tidy in the kitchen/bathroom/shared areas. Terrific sense of humour. Interested in natural history, botanical art (hobby), literature, gorgeous food, green adventures, film festivals and classical and world music. Very gentle, considerate and sweet. I have happily resided in a beautiful sharehouse in Moonee Ponds (replete with a smooth-running cleaning roster) for the past ten years. Sadly have to move for landlord's revamp of the property. I prefer text to call (or check if good time to call) but open to a call before 10pm if you are offering something ideal and not on a busy street
Hi, Im Zozo and 28 years young, and work within retail and sales. When I'm off work I enjoy going out for dinner and drinks, and I also enjoy quiet nights watching my tv series. I try to spend time at the gym, but I prefer the beach and outdoor activities. I used to live in Windsor and now I'm looking for a furnished (preferred) room in the south areas, close to chapel and the beach. I want to rent for at least 2 months and move in asap. I enjoy my home when it's safe, clean and tidy. It's important to respect the house and each other. I'm very social but i also enjoy my privacy. I would love to come and have a look at your room if it's within the areas I'm looking for. Hope to hear from you! /zozo
Hi! I've recently gotten into RMIT and will be moving down from Queensland as soon as possible. I'm super super tidy, and always clean up after myself. I'm very new to Melbourne and in turn don't know anyone, so I'd love to find housemates who are up for a chat or wine. However, I have been living in share housing for a few years now and completely understand the need for privacy and quiet time. I'm in hospitality and will be looking for a job quite soon once I settle in. As I'm in QLD I won't be able to come in for an interview but I'm happy to skype or something of the like if you want. :)
We are two fun Dutch girls planning to find full time work for the last three months of our visa in Melbourne. We are not a couple, but looking to share a room to save money. We are great at cooking and chilling out and enjoying a good time with friends/housemates. Easy going, social and clean. We don't have too many wishes for a house just a nice enough place in a nice area with some good people. We have both traveled a lot and lived in different places around the world. We'd love to share stories, do a little yoga, go outdoors and drink coffee (we are very excited for Melbourne). If you have a good place for us on offer let us know!
Hey, I'm Angus and I'm moving down to Melbourne from Darwin to begin my design degree at RMIT. I've spent the past 18 months working as a barista in my local coffee shop, so will be looking to get a job again once I move down. I'm easygoing and quite laid back and tend to avoid fuss and drama. I like having my own space but also enjoy being around others and having a drink or two or sharing a pot of coffee. I like animals so if you have pets, I am fine with that. I don't drive but would hope to find somewhere to store my bike. Feel free to shoot me a message or a text if you would like to get into contact or want to know anything else about me. Cheers
Hi! I'm looking to move into an inner north room ASAP. Will consider Footscray area too. I have accommodation in the place I was renting in Geelong but I no longer need to be there so I'm returning to Melbourne. Me: Clean. Reliable. Respectful of all cultures and lifestyles and can move in any time. No gender household preferred. Audio producer by trade. Maybe I can produce that record you're sitting on if you let me sing harmony backing ;) You: Are who you are and I can fit in around that. I'm an asset to a house share situation so hit me up. I might banter in Suessian rhyme. You may find it sublime. And like my rent payments they are always on time. <3 I've been in Geelong a couple of years for education reasons but that's all in the past (hah). SMASH CUT: (Present Day) I am really looking forward to moving back into Melbourne and establishing myself here and would be grateful to take on that space you have available. Still have accommodation til Feb 15 but I can move at a moments notice and will do so if required. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi, I’m Sinead, a recent university graduate currently working four days a week in the city. After living in Clayton for a few years while I completed my honours thesis, I’m looking to move to the western or northern suburbs to be closer to friends and family. I’m hoping to find a relaxed household with people I can chat with, but also have some time to myself. I love getting out in the garden, so I’m hoping to find a place with a yard, or at least space for a few pot plants. Definitely not a party person, my idea of a good weekend is enjoying some board games or movies with a handful of friends. While I have a car, I prefer not to drive to work, so I’m looking for a place with good access to public transport. I pay my bills on time and clean up after myself. Ideally I’m looking to move around early February, but would be able to move sooner for the right place.
Hi, we are two french backpackers looking for a room or two in a flatshare in Melbourne (near St Kilda if possible). Easy to live with we just arrived in Australia with a WHV to travel, meet new people and improve our english skills. We love to party but we are also looking for a job don't worry! Contact me if interested, thanks ! Theo
Hey future housemates! I am studying computer science full time at RMIT this year. I am an easy going, considerate and reliable housemate. Some of my interests are rock climbing, hiking, art, biology, technology and playing guitar.
We are a busy working couple, working in sport event management. We're looking for a social home with some people we can enjoy a dinner and a glass of wine with in an evening. We're active during the week and keen for an adventure on the weekends! We're both originally from the UK but are settled here in Australia and are looking for somewhere to make home. We've lived in share housing for a long time and so are considerate, clean, all the things you would hope for in your flatmates.
