Hello! I'm looking to join a friendly household that has the right balance of hanging out together and doing our own thing. I work full-time as a social worker, and in my spare time I'm either spending it with my boyfriend/friends/family, dragging myself outside to exercise, cooking vegan food, or parking myself on the couch to watch terrible tv. I'm considerate and respectful of others, and I love having a laugh/sharing dog videos to balance out the seriousness of my work. My other loves include hunting down the best brunch spots in Melbourne, going to a few gigs and music festivals here and there, and baked goods. My ideal housemates are around the same age or older, working full-time, easygoing, and tidy. I'm hoping to be moved in somewhere by early-mid May so give me a shout if you think we'd be a good match! :)
We are both full time masters students at the university of Melbourne. I am studying my masters in Early childhood education, jack is studying his in aeronautical engineering. I am working part time in Michael Kors, Jack is working part time in an aeronautical engineering company. We are extremely tidy, respectful, and realible when it comes to pay rent. We are both so busy that this house will be not a party house. Not smokers, no pets.
P/S: Will listen to your sappy stories if (unfortunately) you get dumped or talk about how random life is til 4 am Hello! I'm JJ, 21. Currently a research student at Melbourne Uni and looking to move. I am a very outgoing person and love to socialize so am always up for a drink or two (hundred) cause well, duh. During my free time I also love to hang out with some friends or do some activities together and am down for pretty much *anything*! Heck, throw me a bone I'll even play fetch with you (not literally but you get the idea). Oh Netflix can be fun too. I've lived abroad before when I was an exchange student in the US and have done a fair bit of backpacking alone so I've lived with many others from different backgrounds and cultures and would like to consider myself a pretty tolerant and respectful person. Also get along with people pretty easily. Respect all boundaries and stuff a sock in my mouth to shut me up if need be though I like to keep things less intense. Ideally I'm looking for people I can talk to and rant about how shitty my day went, not a breathing creature that moves in the house! Hit me up if you think I can be a good fit for your place and I'm sure we can get along fine! (We'll also get along if you eat ice cream in winters and cry watching Digimon ... Or can handle random Mean Girls quotes thrown at you)
I am a 27 year-old female who works as an interior designer while finishing my masters in teaching. I am really chilled and clean. I like art and culture, movies and travel. I am out quite a lot for activities such as choir rehearsals, futsal games, meeting friends and gigs. I am looking for somewhere to move in at the beginning of June but is negotiable.
Hi! My name is Megah and I'll be moving to Melbourne for work in mid May (currently residing in Sydney). I'm looking for a furnished private room with a parking space (preferably off-street), somewhere within 30 minutes from CBD. I'm easy going and friendly but also respectful of others' personal spaces. For the past 7 years, I've lived in homestays, shared houses, and also on my own. So I'm used to cleaning up after myself and doing house chores. I've also lived with people from different cultures which I really enjoy. I work full time and will probably spend most of my weekends exploring Melbourne (you're welcome to join!). At home, I'm always down for movie nights and catch ups over a meal or drinks.
Hi, currently living in Brisbane and looking to relocate to Melbourne CBD area, no "exact" date as of yet but aiming for end of June/ July possibly sooner if I find something suitable. Would be awesome to find a furnished room to get me started but happy either way for the right place. I am an honest easy going person, I enjoy a very active outdoor lifestyle on my weekends. Currently working full time as a dental assistant in brisbane city. I am respectful of other peoples space and I like to keep to myself most of the time. But in saying that I'm a very open and friendly person.
Hey, I'm Kitty the little 19 year old Tasmanian who is little lost in the big city. Living over here with no family times can get a little scary without having a place to call home. I am respectful, clean and an all round happy person. I am studying full-time at Monash university and working part-time at Topshop in Chadstone. I am a very social person and love to have a boogie every now and then.
I'm relocating to Melbourne from Sydney at the end of June (TBC) as our office is moving. I'm pretty outgoing, love to socialise, keep fit, eat, drink, laugh and explore! I'm not new to flatsharing having previously done so in London, Canada and Sydney (I'm originally from Sydney). I'm neat and tidy (but not obsessed about it). Looking for a houseshare with like minded people. I'm pretty independent but as I am relocating to a new city definitely looking for housemate/s that I can call friends as well.
I'm a Visual/Fine Arts student transferring to a Melbourne university from the University of Western Australia, planning to start studying Semester 2, 2017. I love Melbourne's focus on art and believe it will be beneficial for me in the future. I am Singaporean-born but have lived most of my life in Australia. I love animals of all types, and drawing them, as well as being sociable and spending time with friends, whether it be video-gaming (can provide a PS4, PS3, Nintendo Switch), going out, or even just sharing a meal. I'm a big pop-culture fan and do enjoy a good film occasionally. ;) I am a responsible, outgoing, tidy and clean person and am incredibly excited to begin a life in Melbourne!!
I moved here from New Zealand a year ago! I'm a creative person who spends most of my time either at work, or spending time on my hobbies. I'm social and respectful of peoples space, clean, and quiet. Currently I work as a waitress and a grocery store person. No pets, not a smoker!
I'm 26 and I work full-time in television publicity. I've been living in Melbourne for 2 years but originally from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. I work mon-fri. I would bring my own TV and bedroom furniture. I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle and a good night out with friends. Love to travel whenever I can. Would really love to share with only one or two other housemates who are mindful of keeping the place clean and tidy. Ideally looking for somewhere with my own bathroom but flexible.
Looking for a room, ideally by this Sunday (30th). Will consider anywhere in fairly inner Melbourne, but prefer Prahran, Windsor, Balaclava etc area. Ideally between 150-250pw rent, can stretch slightly for a great place. As for me, I'm 21yo, work close to full time in a cafe and spend the rest of my time with friends or trying to come up with music (have headphones and all that, will not disturb) Love to cook an epic dinner once or twice a week. I'm reasonably quiet but get along really well with most people. Have been living in share houses for three years, so am very aware of how it works. Don't smoke cigarettes, don't drink much at all, but will enjoy a big night once a month or so. That's about it. If anyone feels I could be a suitable housemate, please let me know. Thanks!!
Young professional, moved to Melbourne last year for work and am pretty much in love with the place. Have just started at a new agency in Collingwood and figured it was time to move somewhere more long-term now that I'm a bit more settled. Looking for a place where it's more of a home than a just a house and everyone can hang/have beers/wine/dinner when it suits (but obviously within reason, personal space is pretty amazing too). I'm tidy, friendly and am a pretty good cook. I like music, gym and going out on weekends and occasional after-work drinks/gigs etc, but generally like to keep it quieter during the week due to the whole career thing. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, get in touch. Cheers :)
From the UK originally, lived here 7+ years. Looking to start a lease on a house with one other person. Pretty keen to get a cat :) I work Monday to Friday, enjoy chilling in the evenings, producing music, hanging out down the pub. On weekends I often DJ around bars in Melbourne. I love Hawaiian pizza...sorry if that's a problem. If you're interested, let's catch up for a drink!
Hey I'm Danni! Ive recently moved to Melbourne to work full time as a paramedic. I am a very down to earth person who loves all things music and food related. I keep active with as many outdoor adventures that I can fit into my spare time. I love socialising but I also value my time to myself. I've had years of experience living in share houses and am very tidy and respectful of other peoples things. Im hoping to find a house on a quiet street so I can get some sleep before/after night shifts. It's also vital that it is possible to make my room dark during the day so that I can sleep at odd hours to work around my shifts. I am hoping to find housemates around a similar age to me (22) who would like to show me the best gig spots, brunch cafes and bars in Melbourne on my days off. Im also down to binge watch TV with some wine in my free time. I don't own any pets but I would love to move in with some!
I'm clean and respectful flat mate. Work a lot of hours so rarely home. On my days off I always up to have a good time you my flat mates. I really believe I easy to live with, just give me a chance. Thanks Matthew
I have lived in shared places a few times. I am a quiet mature person who gets on well with (almost) everyone. I am flexible, easy-going, enjoy cooking, quiet nights in, work 3 - 4 days a week locally. I have lived in St Kilda for 20 years, have local friends, a daughter + grand-daughter who live in Middle Park, play and involved at MP bowling club and enjoy morning coffees at favourite cafes
I'm a really easy going, down to earth person looking for somewhere to live while I am completing my Bach of Nursing and working as a nanny. I am a respectful housemate who understands that a balance between alone time and roommate fun is necessary for a harmonious, happy house! I would love a room in a house with some other like minded individuals who I can share a wine with from time to time and have a laugh at the end of a long day!
