Hi Everyone, My name is Niketa (Nikki) and I will be arriving in Melbourne on January 2, 2017. I am looking for a place before I arrive. I will be attending Melbourne Law School in February 2017. I am originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Criminology and I am now pursuing my law degree. I want to find a place that is about a 20 minute commute to my school. I am a mature, energetic, independent young woman who has a vast array of dreams and ambitions to accomplish. I have a great sense of humor and I would say that I am a very social person, but I also like my alone time especially when it comes to studying for school. I'm a huge foodie. Toronto has every cultural restaurant you can think of and I love going out to restaurants to try different foods as well as cooking at home. My specialty though is baking cheesecake with a twist. I also love to read, dance and listen to music on my down time. I love the outdoors. I enjoy roller blading and going for walks/hikes.
Hi! I'm an easygoing and social girl from Finland. I'm coming to Melbourne in January and searching for a furnished room to rent in a lively neighborhood. I'm ready to move in the beginning of February. Although I'm excited to share the place with other cool people I'd like to have my personal space, own room. I'm willing to check the places before making any contracts. As I'm not sure yet how long I'm going to stay in the city, I can't make leases longer than 4-6 months :) How am I as a flatmate then? I always clean after myself and I hope you do as well. I follow the house rules and keep my promises. I appreciate everyones own space. I like going out and be active, so I probably will be out of the house often. Also I won't mind dining and hanging out with my new nice flat mates! Overall I'm a fun and trustworthy person to live with :)
I am an IT professional currently based in Belgium but very excited for an upcoming permanent move to Melbourne in February. I am organized, clean and very respectful. I could be introverted or extroverted depending on the company. My primary interests outside work are traveling and photography.
I'm an active, funny and tidy person, I've just complete my carreer of Industrial Engineering. I like spend time outside jogging, trekking, cycling. I'm a very friendly person who would like to share some "Mates" and have a good talk. Currently I'm interested in knowing other cultures, preparing a trip to Australia. I'm a clean and organized person, who like cooking.

Hey everyone! I am looking for a private room in a flat/house/apartment for a long term stay. I am able to move in about 2 weeks notice. I currently study at Swinburne Uni completing my business degree and work part time. I have previous share house experience and I am quite accustomed to it. About me, I am an easygoing, chill guy, having conversations about any topic, I enjoy listening to music (dj casually), keeping my body healthy, travelling, being social and up for a drink. Contact me anytime, I reply quick! Thanks
Hi! I'm looking to relocate to Melbourne in early-mid 2017 for a gap year (or two) before going into Uni, and i'm just saving up in the meantime. I'm really into comics, anime, games and writing- but I also like social/music events, just socializing and messing around outdoors. I'd prefer a place with chilled out and open-minded people, and while I do value my own time alot i'd definitely be down to spend time with housemates including going out or having movie nights and things like that. Looking for a somewhat lengthy stay so I don't have to be constantly moving around and to feel established somewhere. Budget, suburbs, and move date etc are all just close estimates as most of it will change by the time I move- which should be around March but i'm just starting to look early. :)
Hi, I'm Geywalin. I'm 27 years old, looking for a private room in share house in Melbourne. I'm going there on work and holiday visa so I probably be out for work and travel around the city. I'm friendly, easy going and open minded. I prefer writting, drawing, crafting and prepare for my master degree in my free time. I'm a good cook and get along well with pets. I'm quite clean and tidy, also respectful of other people's space and privacy.
Hey guys, my name is Julia. I just moved to the big smoke from the lovely Gold Coast thismorning. I have always wanted to live in Melbourne and now I am here! Life is good. I am looking for a room in north Melbourne, no further than Coburg. I'm cool with a big house with lots of rooms or somewhere small. I have a cat named Sage. She's an inside girl, low energy and is desexed and twelve years old. She spends most of her time sleeping. I'd love for her to feel safe and at home where we go. I'm an artist who is looking forward to all of the creative opportunities Melbourne has to offer. I'm not a 9-5er. Hit me a message because my hearing is crap (ish). I am super friendly, relaxed, accepting, open minded and LGBT friendly. It could be rad. 😊
I'm easy to live with, very quiet, not a party man (not drinking nor smoking). I'm not intrusive at all. Respect your privacy! I practice ahletics (I'm a sprinter). I love reading and educating myself.
Hi, We are Japanese couple who came from Japan on working holiday visa. We are going to come to Melbourne from Brisbane on 7 Dec. We can read English, but we can't speak and listen to English fruently. So we want to improve our English conversation skill. If you are interested in Japanese, I can help you! Can you teach us English instead? We are looking for twin room which is maxmam $280 /pw for couple. We are happy to live place close to CBD. Thank you for reading!
(Initial note: I am queer and sometimes gender-nonconforming/femme in my presentation, if this is an issue don't bother messaging me) I am a friendly, tidy, and responsible 22yo student, I'm also finding work over the holidays as I've only recently moved to Melbourne. I am always up for a chat but unintrusive, much of the time I will either be out or studying but I'm open to both independent and more friendly share arrangements if we have similar interests/get along. I am vegetarian and prefer to organise my own food, although I enjoy cooking and don't mind sharing at times. I don't currently have any furniture, however I require very little to be available (just a mattress/bed, but if it's a 6+ month lease I can source my own), and can supply my own kitchenware, other than an oven/hotplates. I'm looking for at least a 6 month lease, somewhere longer (up to a year) is no problem either. My move date is pretty flexible.
My name's Will, and I'm a 24 year old American in Melbourne for the next several months on a working holiday. After living around Washington DC my whole life, it seemed like time to go to the other side of the world for an adventure. I'm generally a laid-back person, I enjoy budget traveling and indie concerts, low-key bars, and hiking.
Amanda: 28, loves blankets and Netflix. Jem: 27, loves ice cream cake and the beach. Bonnie: 6, blonde, loves treats and pats. Is a dog. We've been friends for years and housemates since July 2015, but our lease is up and we want a bigger/nicer place, hopefully in the beach-adjacent area. Jem also comes with a huge 60" smart TV and golden retriever. Amanda comes with the sunny optimism of a golden retriever. Both fully employed, clean, and good conversationalists. Non-smokers. Good DVD collection.
Australian-born, easygoing, respect my housemates' privacy, also enjoy their company and making friends, clean up after myself and do my part to keep shared areas of the house neat and tidy. Currently working in Footscray, enjoy a broad range of music (studied production), big history buff, into fitness, art and art history, film, tv, internet culture

I have a 7yo kelpie x border collie who is great with people and other dogs. I'm looking for someone who loves a to swap a story over a few drinks. I'm moving from a fully furnished place so if there is anything your place needs just let me know.

I am very mature, outgoing and i love trying new things. I am clean and tidy and will make a great roommate. I enjoy cooking, exploring new places, meeting new people and learning new things. Please don't be put off by my young age, I'm very mature. I work full time as a web developer and designer. I am very active in Melbourne's tech startup space and hope to start my own business soon in the finance space. I like to work hard and embrace all that life has to offer. Although I am confident and ambitious, I am also a fairly quiet person, I have a deep respect for people's space and privacy. Looking for a really nice place, preferably an old terrace house (I have a thing for them). Feel free to get in contact if you think we would get along :)

I am a fun, friendly and tidy 23 yd girl. I enjoy making friends and having adventures but at the same time respect privacy of others. I love dogs, although I don't have one!:(( I will be studying in University of Melbourne full-time. So need a house in suburbs near to the university. I don't smoke.
Hey guys & girls, My name is Ebony, 23, Aussie. I work full time in the City, I have every weekend off. I pay all bills on time, like things clean and tidy. Enjoy time to myself but also like to go out and have fun. Anything else you would like to know let me know.
Hello future housemates, My name is Caity, I'm 23 and I'm from Adelaide. But for the past two years I've been living abroad in Manchester in the UK. I got to travel pretty extensively through Europe and have now been to 28 countries. I work mainly in hospitality, my most recent job being in front of house at the Cirque du Soleil show Amaluna while it was showing in Manchester. Cirque du Soleil is also the reason I am looking for a room to rent in Melbourne. As the show Kooza is in Australia at the moment and will be showing in Melbourne at the Flemington Racecourse from mid January until mid March. So I'm in search for accomodation from around the 6th of January until around the 16th of March. I enjoy cooking and baking, being adventurous, going for walks and hikes, reading, watching a good tv show (probably too many) and going out for a good coffee date. I fancy myself a pretty laid back person, I enjoy spending time with the people I live, sharing a meal and a bottle of wine every now and then. While also having personal space and being able to veg out in my room all day sometimes. So if you have a spare room that fits my short term requirement please get in touch with me.
Hello I'm an international student, female, ex-graphic designer, now into early childhood education. Easy going, working and studying, quite busy, tidy and organized, love to learn about everything, movies, comics, respectful with personal spaces looking for accommodation.
Hi , I'm Duygu cheerful gray haired girl , from Turkey. I will come to Melbourne as a student for 2 months maybe 3. I am tidied up and neat. I always clean things after me, so that's not gonna be a problem. Not a neat freak. Pets are ok for me, if you have. I love any kind of animal especially cats and dogs ! I am friendly, outgoing, open-minded, cheerful. I like partying , movie nights, watching tv series, grabbing a glass of wine sometimes..Not a 24 hours party animal but I like meeting with new people, chatting, sharing thoughts, funny stories.. But I do respect other's life and spaces. I'm quiet at home but if you call me for PS,movie, chatting, dinner I'm always in ^^ Probably my English school will be between 9ish and 14o'clock, Mon-Fri. We don't have to be friends as soon as we respect each other and other's life. But if we do, why not? I'm looking for a place as a private room. Yard would be fine to have some friends and BBQ(I'd never complain about something if you'd do it everyday haha). I might be a student in Melbourne, but no worries about the bills cuz I'm already employed in my country. I'll be landed on 8th so it's a bit urgent <3
My name is Milena 33 y/o from Colombia, I am a graphic designer currently doing a course in Management and Leadership, working part time in a printing shop in the city and doing some freelance work as well. I am organised and clean and I'd love to live in a cosy clean house not too far from the city and I would loke to share a house with people who are respectful of others and take care of the place they share. I'm a chocaholic so I am always baking chocolate cakes :) I also enjoy working out, travelling, love dancing and cannot live without music.
My home is like my haven. I love to relax, chill out, and keep a loving, peaceful space. I'm from London, and have come to Melbourne for the summer to see if I potentially want to live here.. (Very exciting). I'd love to find a place near the botanical gardens and the ocean if possible, and share with someone who doesn't mind my slightlyobsessive love of meditation, yoga and good energy :)
Hi, I'm Indy I'm going to be doing a Diploma of Music Theatre at Ministry Of Dance so I'm looking for somewhere to stay while doing it :) I LOVE musicals and fitness and I'm energetic sometimes but I also love to relax and watch movies. I'm respectful of other peoples space and opinions and I'm also a tidy person. I'm looking to move into a house/apartment which isn't too far from the dance school and look forward to meeting you
Hi there My current lease is ending just before X-mas so I am looking to start a new one in the first week of January. I am an engineer with MBA and am working as project manager with Victorian government. I am looking for an apartment with a furnished private room preferably in Melbourne CBD and surroundings. I have been living in Australia for over 6 years and prior to that I lived in the USA for 10 years. During my initial years in the USA, I was a graduate student. As such, I am used to living comfortably with international people. I am very clean, neat and tidy and expect my flatmate to be the same. After work, I will be spending my time in gym or pool. Yes I do like cooking. Occasional visits by friends over the weekend is OK but I am definitely not looking for a party house. Apartment need to be quiet after 10 PM. If you need to know more, please drop me a note. Regards,
Hi, I'm Clint, I'm 28 and I am looking for a place to live. I'm fairly flexible in terms of location as long as it's easy enough to get into the city for work. I'm looking for a fairly social house - hopefully nothing too crazy/hectic though. About me: I'm easygoing, friendly and considerate. I enjoy watching / playing most sports and don’t mind a social drink or two. I’ve lived in a few different flat shares so know what's expected, what makes a good housemate and what makes a shit housemate. If you think you have something suitable please let me know! Thanks. Clint.
I have lived in a share house before so understand the balance between fun and respecting others. This was in London and I have only been back in Australia for the past few months. Like to thing I bring a fun vibe to the house! My current position is in Sydney however I will be making the move to Melbourne at the end of this year / early 2017. I will still be with my current employer thought so I have a reliable income. I work in the media industry so often have long work hours! On the weekends I love a cider and socialising with friends or a girls night out but also enjoy a Netflix marathon and night in. I also enjoy going for long walks and adventuring to new places on the weekend. If I'm stressed I tend to bake and share with my housemates otherwise I feel guilty eating it all... Please contact me, I would love to hear about the type of person you are looking for or if you would like to know a bit more about me.
I've recently returned to Melbourne after living and working in San Francisco for the past five years. Prior to that, I lived in Melbourne for five years while doing a PhD. I'm a working professional with a busy life, but always up for a chat.
Hi! my name is Hakon and I'm looking for a place to call home for the next 2 months. I recently graduated from med school and I'm spending some time in Melbourne to see if I want to do my medical specialty here. It's weird describing myself but I'd say I'm friendly and easy going, I'm from a large family so I'm used to working as a team and doing my part of the chores. I've been living in a hostel in Melbourne for the past 5 days, exploring the different areas in order to get a good idea of where I'd like to stay. If I find a nice room I'm ready to move in asap! I love going to concerts, sport events etc. Hobbies include Football(soccer), playing guitar, working out, reading books, travelling, exploring nature, deep conversations and meeting new people. I've lived in different parts of Europe, 10 years in Norway, 9 years in Spain and 6 years in Poland. I'm happy to share some whacky stories from these places and I hope you have some fun stories too share aswell. During my stay in Melbourne I'll be spending the majority of the time in the library reviewing before I start working in Norway in February. I don't need much, a room with a decent sized desk, bed & wardrobe is all that's needed to make me happy. pref areas Fitzroy, Collingwood, Richmond, South Melbourne, St Kilda, Carlton, Melbourne CBD, abbotsford, basically anywhere close to central melbourne Hope to hear from you, cheers ;D
Hello, Guys! I'm from Pingtung Taiwan, a normal guy who graduated from university major in Tourism Management and wants to have a wonderful gap year. I'm friendly, easygoing and respective. I like party, dance, music, movies also drinks! I'm planning move into Melbourne in the beginning of December, I'll be looking for job as soon as I move in, thank you :)
I'm easy going and chilled out, don't mind a drink every now and then but not a partier, spend most of my time working in the city as a chef, and I'm clean and considerate.
Mainly looking for team up - I am wanting to move from South East Suburbs to Bayside area Brighton - Port Melb for a sea and city change. I have a little girl who is 8 that lives with me and we have had housemates on & off over the years. I have a full house of modern furniture & all kitchen amenities, I do like my house to look quiet stylish. Hoping to find someone that is looking for a home to share in those areas and start looking at places with me, I have started looking already but I feel, even though I have a strong rental application that due to the price of houses in these areas my rental application may be weakened on my own. We are super easy going to share with young people who are still (respectably) coming in at 5am on weekends or older people who have a very chilled lifestyle. I do have a little dog who is my daughters very best friend that I need to accommodate for also. About us: I am a professional who works as a financial controller full time, we both snowboard & I wakeboard also, always doing fun adventurous things. My daughter is fairly hilarious and depending on you she will either be your new bestie or she will leave you be, she's a little more grown up than most kids her age. We're not home a lot, go away a fair bit and am always out & about doing things. I am pretty clean, even when things can get a bit untidy you generally don't find much dirt in my house, I am very easy going though and understand not everyone enjoys cleaning as much as I do. The only time you will find this to be untrue is when I am flat out busy and have been popping in home for 5 minute pit stops with no time to clean, but I always still try to be considerate of others.
Friendly, chilled tidy English guy looking for a room somewhere north of Melbourne. I like going to the gym, doing a bit of photography and love a night out on the weekend. I'll be working in construction and looking to move in for 3-4 months any time before mid December. Cheers
Looking for someone to share a house/apartment with in Footscray or a close surrounding suburb from Mid January onwards. I'm a fun, easy going relaxed guy who's easy to get along with. I'm recovering from a knee reconstruction, but besides that I'm a very active outgoing person. I'm very respectful of others and their privacy to though. I'll be studying full time at Victoria University in Footscray which kicks off mid February. I'd love to move in with people around my age, but hope to hear from anyone who has a room available around this time. Cheers
I'm an osteopath that has been lucky enough to travel the world with work for the past 10yrs. Will be settling back in Melbourne in the new year & I'm looking for a place not too far from the city. I enjoy my sport, live music, food, cooking and keeping fit. I'm tidy and easy going. I will also be traveling for work between 10-15 weeks of the year if that helps. :)

Hey all, I'm currently living in South Yarra but my lease is ending on my own apartment so I'm looking for a place for about three months before I head off overseas to Canada. I work full time hours between a few jobs but am always happy to have a laugh and a drink when I'm free. I'm into spontaneous road trips, cooking, volleyball, reading, and always willing to give something new a try.

Hey! My name's Brad and I'm travelling here from the UK on a year long working holiday visa. I have already travelled the length of the east coast of Australia and now find myself in Melbourne - just in time for the nice weather! I am keen to get to know the city better and explore everything that Melbourne has to offer. I like to see myself as someone who is easy going, friendly and sociable who has a wide array of interests - from live music to finding good food out and about. I have lived through university and four months in Brisbane in shared houses so I definitely understand how important the dynamic of a house is. Hope to see you soon!
Hey there, my name is Ligi, a 22 yrs old Taiwanese girl, me and my friend are looking for a private room in a lovely house.
