Kayla and I have both complete our HSC this year and are hoping to move to Melbourne to continue our studies. Kayla will be studying next year, while I will be taking a gap year to find a job and work full time. We are both currently supported by Centrelink. Despite the 'move date,' we aren't sure what date we will be moving, but there is a chance I will be moving before Kayla - however we still wish to share accommodation.
Hey I'm Sarah, I'm working full time in the city. I'm clean & tidy, considerate, friendly :) Fairly balanced .. down for a chat/drink with the flatties some nights, sometimes go out, or sometimes just chill in my room reading or watching netflix. I enjoy walking/running, music, meeting new people... msg me if you are after a new flattie =)
Hi, I am currently looking for a private room to stay from 7 Dec to 18 Dec 2016 (12 nights). Please message me if you are interested. Thanks. A little bit about me: I think everyone thinks themselves is easy-going and clean, so I will not emphasize that. I am a software developer working at an Internet startup in Melbourne. I love Japanese culture. I can speak Japanese and have traveled everywhere in Japan. I also like hiking and have a little bit experience in mountaineering.
Love sharing my cooking, finding new coffee spots and having the occasional wine/cider. Love reading, playing board games, having a good chat and going on day trips to the country. I like a healthy balance of exercising (gym, riding my bike, yoga) and binge watching tv series. The usual - pay bills on time, easy going, respectful, clean and tidy.
Hi! I'm moving closer to work in Parkville from Melbourne's eastern suburbs due to a job change and my current lease is ending. Looking for young professionals or postgraduate students to live with. I am a pretty busy person so most weeknights will be found at a Latin dance class, attempting to learn Spanish or hanging with friends. Otherwise I quite like cooking, hanging out and watching some Netflix with a drink or two. I'm a friendly, outgoing and clean person. Have lived in shared living arrangements for a while now and get how it works. if you want someone who not only lives and is up for a chat, I'm the person for you.
Hey! I'm a 32 - year old Finnish guy who's starting his psychology studies on February, 2017. I'm looking for a calm and clean living environment with flatmates who are considerate and respectful towards each other. On my free time I like to do a bit of cooking, working out in the gym, and mashing some yummy brunch into my face. When the weather isn't too cold, I like to sunbake at the beach.
my partner and l are looking for a room that hopefully we are able to bring our cat and dog with. l am (Aidan) an apprentice plumber and work 5 sometimes 6 days a week but have a RDO every second Monday although sometimes l will work them. My usual hours are 7-3:30 or 6-3:30. My partner (Annalee) works part time as a cleaner while also studying allied health. Our dog (Polo) is very quiet and also very affectionate and cuddly. our cat (Bobby) is also very quiet and affectionate and cuddly. The cat and dog don't have a problem with eachother and aren't really too bothered by eachother. we would love to bring them with us but it isn't crucial that they come as they can stay at my parents. we're pretty easy going and clean, especially my partner.
I would like to think I'm a humorous and easy going guy. I enjoy sports, like to keep fit and relax by playing video games in my downtime. I working retail managing a sporting goods and apparel store in the heart of Melbourne. I consider myself a tidy person always picking up after myself and keep a clean living environment. I'm relatively quiet when relaxing at home but never shy of having a conversation with someone and hoping to find like minded folks.
(Initial note: I am queer and sometimes gender-nonconforming/femme in my presentation and my partner is trans, if this is an issue don't bother messaging me) I am a friendly, tidy, and responsible 22yo social science/teaching student, I'm also finding work over the holidays as I've only recently moved to Melbourne. I am always up for a chat but unintrusive, much of the time I will either be out or studying but I'm open to both independent and more friendly share arrangements if we have similar interests/get along. I am vegetarian and prefer to organise my own food, although I enjoy cooking and don't mind sharing at times. I don't currently have any furniture, however I require very little to be available (just a mattress/bed, if it's a 6+ month lease I can source my own), and can supply my own kitchenware, other than an oven/hotplates. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere with a nice kitchen and a room that fits a double bed. I'm looking for at least a 6 month lease, somewhere longer (up to a year) is no problem either. My move date is pretty flexible.
Hi there! I'm Nayanika, 22, from India. I'll be visiting Melbourne for my Research Training at Victoria University for 6 months from the 3rd week of March 2017. I'm looking for a place in CBD which is close to the Melbourne Central Station. I need flatmates who maintain cleanliness and hygiene. I'm kind, friendly, open-minded and an independent person. I respect people's privacy. I love travelling and exploring new places, meeting people from cross-cultural backgrounds. I'm also a foodie! and enjoy cooking. I am easy-going and adjusting in new places would't be a problem. I am a tidy person so living around me won't be a nuisance. I'm quiet and I keep to myself most of the time but I wouldn't mind tagging along for a grub here and there.
I have a full time job as a brewer in Truganina so im looking for a place on the west side of the city. Just moved to Melbourne from Sydney for this job, currently subletting a mates place and am looking to get my own place after the xmas holidays. Im very relaxed, enjoy watching bad movies and the odd beer or whiskey at night.
Hi I'm Kelly, I was born and raised in Rome, Italy but I've been living here for the past 3 years. I work for a couple of catering companies in different venues throughout the city like Melbourne Museum, Crown, MCG and the MCEC. I'm also at my 3rd year of Business Leadership and Management. In my spare time, I love watching tv shows (I'm totally addicted!), going to concerts, read or just have fun with my friends. I'm not a heavy drinker, but I do enjoy a glass of wine or a couple of pints of beer. I don't smoke and I don't drink coffee, but I love to cook and eat good food (I'm Italian after all haha). I like footy even if I don't understand all the rules yet, I also love music and art. I speak Portuguese, Italian, English and Spanish. I'm looking for a private room in a quiet house with nice housemates that are happy to have a chat and enjoy some time together every now and then. As a housemate I consider myself to be very quiet, clean, neat and polite. Most of the times you won't even know I'm there! :)
I'm a mature 20 yrs old recent uni grad. Moving to Melbourne for some career opportunities. I have a full time job lined up. In the evenings I have another part time job some nights and other nights ill be playing sport. So I'll hardly be home! I am quite, respectful and career orientated person. Im a non smoker, non drinker, non partier. If your place has off street parking and furnished would be a massive bonus! I'm flexible about move in date, ideally early to mid Jan would suit me best. I'm also flexible about the suburbs. Please contact me if your interested :)
Clean, tidy, never pay late. Like to socialise but understand the need for privacy. I'm starting a new job in central Melbourne in February so I am relocating from another city. I love going to musicals and shows and trying new things and places to eat with friends.
Hi, I'm Marcel! Brazilian, Master's student based in the Netherlands and now in Melbourne for a 6-month research internship. This means that I would like to find a place to move in asap, where I could stay until May. I consider myself organized, easy going and very open-minded (hard to avoid clichés here, right?). I love cooking, hiking, and getting to know new people, languages and cultures. My weeks are going to be very busy, but I would love to spend some time with my future roommates during weekends. Feel free to contact me if you have a room to offer so we can arrange an inspection :)
I am quiet, clean, and keep to myself for the most part. My hobbies include reading, gaming, journaling, and going for runs/walks. I am an open-minded, accepting person and I am looking for a flat-mate with those same qualities as well :) I currently live in Adelaide and I hope to move to Melbourne by the end of January to prepare for university at RMIT, where I will be studying Legal and Dispute Studies. I will also be getting a job fairly soon after I move, I will be on student allowance however so paying rent will not be a problem.
Hi I'm Rob, a friendly and clean New Zealander, i've been living in Melbourne almost 5 years now. I'm 28 and currently working in the sports and events industries, with a busy summer lined up. Also i'm going to be studying a few more courses part time next year just to keep myself busy. I like to eat fairly healthy and try to get out riding a few times a week. I've lived out of home for 6 years now, so i know how to be considerate of others and all the house basics like paying my bills on time and cleaning up after myself without being told. Love animal's so that would be a bonus if you had any :) Prefer non smokers
Hi there, my name is Gemma and I am 25. I study full time (completing my Masters) and I work every other day so I am not around very much. Every evening I am at the gym so I am someone who really enjoys taking care of myself, but I do also love to have a lazy weekend and sit around and watch movies and eat chocolate. I have a small (but fat) dog named Gus. He is a pugalier and has to come wherever I go. He is very affectionate and will love anyone. I'm good to live with as I respect people's privacy but I am also fun to be around and easy to chat to.
Studying and working part time. Looking for a comfy place to call home. Looking for more of a quiet house with my studies but I do enjoy watching TV and hanging around the living spaces with housemates as well. Love to talk about just about everything, I'm a bit of a linguistics fanatic if you want to get me talking!
Well hello mates! I will be starting my first year at RMIT University (Melbourne City Campus) in first week of February,2017. I am an Indian and will be pursuing a bachelors in Digital media. Well I'm an outgoing, friendly and reliable person. Above anything you would always find me clean and tidy. I am a music enthusiast who enjoys a good company, travel/exploration and jam sessions. My interest also includes fitness, attending live gigs, short adventures, etc. When it comes to other people, I understand the concept of personal space/privacy and expect the others to understand it as well. I also enjoy cooking and binge-watching Netflix on weekends or free days. In short, I'm considerate and supportive for the people who've always been a helping hand. Also, there will be no issues on my end when it comes to rent, bills and payment. I'm looking forward to stay somewhere long term. Please feel free to contact me. Cheers!
A professional, happy, friendly and kind personality who enjoys intelligent conversation and spending time outdoors. I'm currently working full time in a call center and starting a visual arts course next year. In my spare time I like to draw, take photos and play xbox. I usually keep to myself but am very approachable person. I clean up after myself and cannot stand living in a mess.
Hello future housemates my name is Maria just currently finished my diploma in beauty therapy and now currently working for Endota. I am a very social person love the company of people but I do understand people need there space to chill and relax by them selfs. Hobbie include taking photos, shopping, hanging out with friends and of course going out to eat. Love a good burger or pizza ! I occasionally like to go for a good walk or do some exercising to stay healthy. Just want to live closer to the city because I am finding it hard traveling to get to work from where I am livin at the moment. I am working almost full time hours so won't be home during the day unless I have a day off. I am just looking for a place where I can get along with my housemates.
Hello! I am a nursing student and usually work in health/cosmetic medicine or temp in offices (until degree is finished). I am making the move from Syd where I have held a lease for years and had my mix of good and bad flatmates. I don't really want the hassle of managing a house and flatmates on my own anymore. I have a house full of cool antique and vintage furniture in storage which can come with me or stay there. I am a good person to live with. I take quick showers, bathroom is tidy after I use it. If I cook I wash and dry same night, wipe down and no food in sink! I empty bins, tidy as I go etc. I keep to myself but can be chatty if you feel like it. I have a very good sense of humour. I come with two quiet dogs. I don't have people over or make noise. All my flatmates have loved my dogs. They would need a corner in a living room for their day beds or a really large bedroom so they could have beds in there. Believe me they sleep a lot. One is a greyhound and one is a mix. No barking, very good in the house. May raid bins if given access, so they have to be supervised if kitchen is open or bins on floor. Never any accidents in house. They don't smell doggy as regularly cleaned. A covered area in back yard or access to a garage would be needed for when I am at work so they can be dry and warm. I am extremely responsible and hard working so all bills and rent are paid on time every time and my dogs have the best of care and no responsibility is on anyone else in house to care for them. I have lived with 19 year olds up to mid 50's. I do Taekwondo and weights. My two best friends live in Yarraville. I love being busy and in my downtime I watch good drama or home Reno shows :) I like to eat out as well. I have been known to down G&T's or champagne and come home drunk once in a while after dancing all night, but that is rare these days, I lean to the left in my politics and would probably like a house that recycles etc..
Please don't be put off by my young age, I'm very mature. I work full time as a web developer and designer. I am very active in Melbourne's tech startup space and hope to start my own business soon in the finance space. I like to work hard and embrace all that life has to offer. Although I am confident and ambitious, I am also a fairly quiet person, I have a deep respect for people's space and privacy. Looking for a really nice place, preferably an old terrace house (I have a thing for them). Feel free to get in contact if you think we would get along :)
I am a fun, friendly and tidy 23 yd girl. I enjoy making friends and having adventures but at the same time respect privacy of others. I love dogs, although I don't have one!:(( I will be studying in University of Melbourne full-time. So need a house in suburbs near to the university. I don't smoke.
Looking for someone to share a house/apartment with in Footscray or a close surrounding suburb from Mid January onwards. I'm a fun, easy going relaxed guy who's easy to get along with. I'm recovering from a knee reconstruction, but besides that I'm a very active outgoing person. I'm very respectful of others and their privacy to though. I'll be studying full time at Victoria University in Footscray which kicks off mid February. I'd love to move in with people around my age, but hope to hear from anyone who has a room available around this time. Cheers
I'm a PhD student at University of Melbourne. I am from Colombia and have spent my last five years living in different places abroad, the last two living here in Australia. I'm really laid back, easy to talk with. I'm tidy and clean or at least try to keep things like that. I want flatmates to socialise with but also keep each other privacy. During my free time, I like to watch TV/movies, explore the city, go out with friends, try restaurants.
Hey! My name is Kevin and I will be moving to Melbourne in mid January. I'm from bayside Brisbane but spent the last three years in Canberra studying. I've lived with others since I moved to Canberra so I'm pretty good when it comes to communal living and stuff (I won't steal your pizza from the fridge). Ive shared houses with both guys and gals as well. I have a job already sorted so bills won't ever be a 'next week' issue. I'm super friendly as well and enjoy most things fun in life! I love watching movies, snowboarding, surfing, playing soccer and Im a very well travelled person (will be in Austria in December). My ideal flatmates are people that I could socialise with. I'll be busy at work most days of the week and most of you would be too but I'd hate to live with people I couldn't even say hi to or share a movie with. I'd say I care more about who I'm house sharing with than what the house is like. Would love to have a dog so if you already have one I'll treat it like one of us. Also cool to start our own houseshare. Just realised you cant even message anyone on here without having to pay. Feel free to shoot me a message on waterfordwest08 google mail
My name is Andrew, I'm 25 and work full-time as a Graphic Designer. I moved over from Adelaide about 2 months ago, currently living in Torquay – there's a Melbourne office I'm being moved to after xmas and need to find somewhere to live. I'm very laid back, neat and respectful. I'm also sociable: I like to enjoy a quiet beer and a laugh, but also value down-time alone. If you're after a friendly guy looking for a 3 month lease starting from the 23rd of December, I'm right here.
Hey! I'm from sunny Colorado, and just moved to Melbourne in to study graphic design. I'm a marketing gal by day, avid suds/happy hour seeker by night. If you enjoy a good coffee, we are already good friends. Super easy going, kind of funny, and excited to meet people and get to know the city. Oh, and I'm a dancer, and can certainly teach you how to Dougie.
Hi, I am a new migrant here in Melbourne and on my try to find a job. I want a short term residence from 3-6 motnhs (own room, own bathroom and own kitchen) which might be extended based on my job location.studio apartment will perfectly fulfil my requirement. Regards Saikat
I'm a very clean and respectful person, I clean up after myself and also others. I do smoke but intend on quitting, and I never ever smoke inside the house. I have a car, so a car space/parking proffered. I love animals. I most probably will hardly be home as I work during the days and at nights I generally am busy with rehearsals and gigs or other jobs. I do enjoy a good conversation and I respect other people's privacy as well as personal space. I do hang out with my friends a lot/dance crew as they're my only form of family here. Very friendly and outgoing person also. That's just a quick jist of things, any questions please shoot me a message!
Hi! I'm Maylee from the Philippines. I have been working in a fashion retail company for more than two years back home and now have decided to pursue my masters here at RMIT. I am easy to live with as I am organize and clean with my things. If I will not be busy for school, I can be a fun food, party, sports, and travel buddy. Hit me up!
I am clean and tidy. Helpful around the house and a general pleasure to live with :) Looking for fully furnished room with a desk ideally, around $200 - 250, inclusive of bills and internet.
Hi I'm easy going and enjoy to relax by doing activities after work (run, gym etc) Enjoy a clean house as I am neat and tidy. Purely require accommodation more for work so I will not be there all the time. Most weekends I would go back to Geelong.
Greetings, the names Tayler, I'm currently from up northwest of Melbourne, approximately 50 minutes from the city. I'm looking for a place to stay closer to the CBD and to my uni (LaTrobe) to make life a little easier. I'm frequently appraised for having a mad sense of humour, whilst being extremely mature when necessary. While I do still live at home, I strive to pull my weight in regards to chores and other errands, and always clean up after myself. I also ride a motorcycle so parking is less of an issue for me (yay someone gets two parking places!) My main hobbies are; Video gaming. Motorcycling. Reading. And the occasional culinary experimentation (easy mac does not count.) I'm also a pretty big fan of board games. What I'm looking for; Like-minded individuals who also have strong senses of humour! Potential long-term living (more than a year) depending how things go A house equipped with NBN would be amazing *but it is not particularly a must* :) Hit me up if I fit your quota! I'm happy to answer any other questions you have to ask and would love to meet-and-greet!
Hello! My name is Miley.I'm a very well-organised person who always likes to keep everthhing around me tidy and clean. I am an easygoing and very diligent student. Hi! i'm looking for a great roomie in the melb area of yarraville, seddon, abbotsford or richmond. I'm easy going, mature, quiet, open minded, and independent. Currently working part time, running my own small business and am planning on returning to study in March. I meditate everyday & spirituality is a big part of my life, I wouldn't call myself a new age hippie... although I dont consume meat or animal products. I would like to find someone to share with who's independent, mature, preferably doesn't eat meat also (although not a deal breaker) and open minded.
Hello future flatmates. M relatively new to Melbourne. Recently completed my graduation from the UK. Now I am a Real Estate Agent in Western Melbourne. I have lived in a share house before and know the do's and dont's quite well. You will find me clean and tidy. I respect ones personal space and love to socialise. Because I am new here I would want my flatmates to be good friends with me, not just filling empty space. I enjoy music, movies, tv series, bbq, cycling, long drives, traveling, walks, much more. For the next one year i'll be working part time and studying full time. My friends say I am nice to talk to, cool, outgoing, easily adjustable and kind at heart. There will be no issue regarding the rent and bill payments from my side. Feel free to contact me, lets see how it goes. Cheers.
I'm from Italy but I'm an Albanian girl. I work in retail. I would like to explore Melbourne and other places in Australia, I would like to do different activities. Hi, I am a veterinary medicine student in my third year. I am looking for a place or a team up for 6 months minimum. I come with three pets (a cat, small dog and parrot). I also petsit, usually 1 or 2 small dogs (Only small dogs) or cats at a time. I do not look after animals that are not suitable for the house or that may annoy anybody within the house. I also have a household full of furniture, including fridge, washing machine, microwave, heaps of kitchen stuff, couches etc... I am a clean, quiet and happy person, who is looking for housemates/ a housemate that is/are similar. I am not looking for a house with heaps of people, but 1 or 2 housemates (or a couple). I would also love to team up and start a new house together! You must be clean and help with the household chores and not leave dirty dishes or clothes around in communal areas etc... other than that I am pretty laid back and enjoy a good chat. My university course is very full on, so during university semesters I am quite busy and so I am not interested in parties every weekend (unless it is a special occasion-->birthday for example). I am more fun during the holidays and up for more adventures and outings. I have a police check. If you have any questions please feel free to ask :)
