Hi. I live a fairly quiet lifestyle, enjoy being social now and again also, dinner parties, movies, beach, getting outdoors walking and biking. I'm pretty easy going and my ideal flat mate would be easy going as well. Clean and tidy/semi organised is always good when working full time.
We are a friendly, social, active and easy going couple moving down to Sydney from Newcastle. I will be starting my masters at Sydney Uni and Dan works full time as an electrician. In our spare time your can usually find us at the beach (dan loves to surf), at the gym/swimming, eating brunch (we love food), drinking copious amounts of coffee or watching netflix. We don't mind the odd drink (or many drinks) here and there and we can't wait to get out and explore Sydney on the weekends.
Hey everyone! After growing up in Tassie and spending half of 2016 living in Melbourne, I decided I missed the ocean too much and found myself in Sydney in October! I'm 22, studying Graphic Design at Billy Blue College of Design and working part time in retail. My current lease ends on the 29th so I'd like to find something soon!! I've lived in two different sharehouses and consider myself a very respectful person who is considerate of others (clean, quiet when I need to be, reliable and responsible) but also have a fun side (love to go out, be social) and a fit and healthy side (play hockey, love going walking and running and the gym!). Because I've only just moved, I don't know a whole bunch of people, so I would ideally like to move into a place with some girls that I can make friends with 🤗 While I'd like a nice place, I realise I don't have the biggest budget. But if I find some nice people in a nice area I am very willing to stretch it! Thanks! 💕
Looking for: long term stay, UNFURNISHEDUNFURNISHED and private room Working in UTS full-time, studying Masters part-time at USYD and currently living in Enmore and loving the area. Consider myself both a nerd and a geek, love 'em comics, read a lot of literature and non-fiction, social sciences, politics, philosophy, behavioural sciences, art... also watch some TV when I can get around to it... scifi/fantasy anything dystopian or with zombies really... = a versatile conversationalist! Would love a house hold that I can share a meal or drinks with every now and again. However I am pretty quiet around the house, mainly because I work long hours. I like to keep my surroundings clean and tidy, and respect others' space. I'm not passive aggressive which you can consider as a plus or not - if I have something to say, I'll say it so we can resolve it. If we run out of dish washing liquid or toilet paper I'll get it, no problem, chill.
Hello there! We are Paulina and Roberto, a Chilean couple with working holiday visa. We arrived 7 months ago in Sydney and, immediately, we loved Australia. We work full time in a warehouse. Back in Chile, we used to work in television as editors. Paulina is a TV director and editor and I'm a screenwriter. Paulina is a charming, joyful girl interested in yoga, travels, books and entertainment. I'm quiet but always with a joke, I'm into novels, comics, history and tv shows. we can talk about any subject and we have a lot of stories to share. Also we have a lot of theories of Game of thrones! We are looking for a confortable room for us. We are easy going, we like to cook and share. We are clean and tidy. We really know how to keep our space clean and organised, so you wouldn't have any problem with us about cleaning. Looking forward to hear from you. Our best regards! Saludos!
Hi all! My name is Cameron, I'm 22 and at the beginning of 2016 moved from Perth to study law at the University of Sydney. I'm moving out of student accommodation and looking to find something in the general vicinity of USYD / transport to USYD. Please note that my move in date is extremely flexible and I'm more interested in securing the right place to live in than what date I start paying rent (i.e. happy for an earlier starting lease!) If you think you may be interested in my spiel on how well house-trained, clean and respectful of everyone's personal space I am - please get in touch!
I'm 23, working full time in a brand consultancy in the CBD. I'm a very friendly, down-to-earth and easy person to live with. I work regular hours (9-6pm) Mon-Fri and usually lay low during the week, but always down for good chats over a glass or some quality Netflix shows with my housemates in the evening. My ideal weekend consists of a swim, any art/film events in town and catching up with friends over some vino. Looking for a non-party house with working professionals who respect down-time during the week, but treat the place like a home rather than a b&b. Let's meet up and chat!
I'm a special ed teacher recently returned from overseas and need to find a new place to live. Am always tidy and clean in my living habits and have also been known to be a bit of fun from time to time. I love animals, am a bit allergic to cats but have also lived with them my whole life so it's not an issue. Also love music in many forms but am well aware that people don't always want to be listening to other's music. I do enjoy a good chat most of the time, as well as going out and making the most of my weekends. This usually involves hitting the beach (weather permitting), diving, climbing, catching up and partying with friends, etc. I do also cherish the odd bit of solo time to relax and unwind by myself to read, watch TV, play music, write or just chill - so I respect the privacy and space of those I live with.
Hello hello! I'm Angus, and here's the essentials about me in a few bite-sized paragraphs with handy subheadings :) Work: Yes, I work and can pay the bills - tick! I work part time on the front desk of a hotel on the north shore and also do an occasional shift at a cafe in Glebe near where I currently live in a sharehouse. Passions: Music! I've recently completed an Honours in composition and composing is what I love doing. I'm really dedicated to it and spend a lot of time writing. Around the house: You'll find me clean and tidy, and respectful of people's things. I'm friendly and easy going, and I hope to live in a house where everyone is reasonably quiet but enjoys a chat. Move date: I can move any time from mid-January to the very start of February. Hope to hear from you!
I'm a digital designer currently working full time and studying part time so I'm fairly busy. Friendly and up for a chat at the end of the day, I can cook and clean, into live music, tv shows and movies.
Friendly, clean, I like exploring and meeting people, good at giving people space and privacy. Medical school, working part time that involves travel.
Chill conversations + wine after a long day. Add a little bit of music and it'll be perfect! I'll be in Sydney for a while (2 years at least actually) as I'm going to read at the University of Sydney (so somewhere within 15 mins walking distance would be great) but i can always get a bicycle or something! Super clean and tidy and a tad sociable but highly laid-back (not looking for a party house, really). I respect personal space as I love mine too (don't we all?). I do smoke and if you don't take the smoke well, I'll be more than happy to find somewhere outside to go about my business. And I would actually prefer to have a room in a shared house! Will probably arrive in town mid February before school commences in March 2017. I don't mind meeting up and searching for apartments together as well! Feel free to drop me a message! Cheers!
Hey. I am looking for a place to stay whilst I finish my last semester at the University of Sydney. I am on a year studying abroad from England. I am really easy going, tidy and looking for some fun, but chilled people to live with. Message me if this suits you. Daisy X
Hi there, I am Julia and I'm going to stay in Sydney for studying psychology at the University of Sydney from February 2017 to July 2017. I don't like staying alone in a flat, as it is much more fun to have flatmates for occasionally dinner cooking, getting to now different points of views and life stories and just having fun living with other people. I have already some experience in living together with different people as I stayed one year with a host-family and a roommate in India, lived in a shared flat with four other students in my study town in Germany and during an internship in Berlin I stayed also with a flatmate. So I hope it is not to difficult to get a long with me. I am a tidy and clean person. I enjoy going out for a party but also a cosy evening with a movie and some wine and chocolate :) I love being creative, I like decorating things and doing crafts of any kind (I am kind of a homeworker :) and I am really looking forward to exploring Sydney and trying out some new sports. Perfect for me would be a rent from end of February to mid of July 2017, but I am quite flexible. I hope to hear from you soon :)
I'm a well-balanced human with plenty to share yet know my bounds. I absolutely love being amongst great company yet just as equally love my own space. I work in Project Management with an education in Architecture - not to mention many a life experience along the way. I'm super respectful of people, their personal space and property and would appreciate the same in return. Genuine and open minded and make a point of not judging people for who they are (I don't do drama very well). I aim to live a holistically healthy lifestyle by eating well and keeping active. I don't watch TV (only movies) and tend do it in my own space if I do (I'd prefer to bond over a good conversation). I love my music (although some would question my song choices) and am also a lover of clean spaces and tend to be a bit of a minimalist at times - there's nothing more satisfying than coming home to a clean and positive home. I don't mind sharing a bathroom as long as there's a powerpoint for my electronic toothbrush (yes, I'm one of those people). I like to think I'm heaps of fun and love to lol and yet I manage to be upfront about things that may be of concern - communication is mucho importante! I come with a tiny dog (Louis the long-haired Chihuahua) who is FOMO at times but is always great company to those around him (let's just say that everybody that meets him thinks he's fantastic to be around). He spends a lot of time with his grandparents (especially during the week) so he'll another well-balanced presence. Check me out/contact me on IG: etndbs. Peace.
Im a full time worker who is looking for a place that feels like home. I am tidy, mature and resposible. I would love to move in with people who i can have a chat with and maybe hang out every now and then, but i also love my own space too
As an international student from Shanghai, China, I am currently studying at USYD. I love reading, movies, traveling and tennis. I am a quiet and tidy person with no bad habits such as drugs. I am easy going, love to meet new people but I also respect their privacy.
I'm looking for a quiet, clean, cosy place to call home. I tend to be out of the house a lot, seeing friends, swimming and playing a lot of social netball. Every now and then I'll head out hiking for the weekend. When I'm home I like to cook, watch bad tv, tend to my plants, read and have chats in the kitchen. I prefer a collective style of living, sharing chores, expenses and some food. I work 9-5 in the city doing comms for an environment organisation, but I'm considering chucking it all in and finally starting that phd. Queer friendly, lefty, lapsed vegetarian (so I eat meat but can also cook all those great Ottolenghi vege dishes) and keen cyclist.
I am a second year medical student studying at the University of Sydney and work casually throughout the year. Generally, I enjoy peace and quiet, but don't mind sharing meals or a cup of tea. In all likelihood I'll spend most of the time in my room, but I often go for runs in the morning and like going out during the day. I also enjoy reading and discussing books, especially on recommendation. I'm clean and tidy and have respect for all communal spaces. I'm also willing to contribute to cleaning or cooking rosters if they form part of the living arrangements of the house/flat. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi All, I am Vinay and of course here to look for a room. I am finishing my lease on 29th Jan so definitely need something by then. Advantages having me as a flatmate- I am easy going Can clean after myself. Have traveled quite a bit so people friendly and cool stories to share. Can cook Work full time 08:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday so avaialble evenings and weekend to always do something Can live with people who wants a quiet and evening or wants to go bonkers. Generally pretty happy so can bring lot of smile at home. Fun and funny to hang out What am I looking- As I have lived overseas in London and Amsterdam for 3 years, also Melbourne and Darwin for a bit, I don't really know lot of people so would like to have flatmates who just not sit in their room all the time and be resonably human to have a conversation but at the same time I have been sharing for quite a few years so understand everyone's privacy. Anything else please feel free to throw pen at me :) Hope to hear from you.
Hi, I'm Shannon! I'm moving to Sydney in Feb to complete my studies at UTS. I'm an easy going, bubbly person who enjoys good food, wine and a laugh. Currently studying Health Science's at UTS, but in my spare time I love to read a book or go for a run. I'm a considerate, kind and helpful housemate that enjoy's socialising with my fellow housemates. Let me know if I sound like the right fit for your flat!
I am looking for an easy going, friendly share house where we can enjoy a good conversation. I am fairly busy and at times work shift work so I do like my home to be a peaceful place. I enjoy eating and drinking out with friends, cooking and being active.
Hi, I'm Nicola. creative and fairly social, happy to have a glass of wine and a chat, yet i definitely like my own downtime, and am happy in my own company. Not a big tv watcher so there'll never be a tussle over the remote! (although if you've a good movie up your sleeve, happy to keep you company!) I pretty much like all types of music except country and western but don't make a habit of turning the volume up, preferring to read a good book or do a spot of painting/sewing/other creative stuff. I'm a clean up after myself as i go, in the kitchen and tend to keep my stuff out of common areas (unless you like books, then i'm happy to add to the bookcase!). Easy going and like a good laugh. Ideally a room with either a mostly north west or west aspect is what i'm after, for the light - it's all about the light! Even a mostly north with bit of east will make me happy, as long as there's loads of light for my artistic pursuits. High ceilings would be great but not a "must have", prefer an unfurnished room but i can also work with furnished. If you like to have the odd impromptu party - not crazy kinda party, more the dinner party kinda thing, or mates over, that's fine by me - i may join in, invite a friend or two of my own along, or leave you all to it, either way, i have no problem with that sort of stuff if that's what you like to do. I don't have a pet, but if you have one that'd be awesome! Dog/cast cuddles are the best!
I'm an engineering student at USYD. I'm hoping to find a place close to uni and would like to move in to as soon as possible. (Bit flexible with the exact dates though) I enjoy watching all sorts of sports (and sometimes play a bit as well), listening to music, going to concerts and a bit of casual gaming. I'm clean, respectful and friendly. I'm up for a chat and don't mind the occasional beer.
I'm 29 and work as a video editor/producer at nine in Newcastle and I'm moving to Sydney for work in January. I love sports (NFL, AFL, NRL, Cricket etc.), film/TV and socialising with friends. I'm clean and quiet and although I do like to go to parties I don't bring them home. I'd prefer an unfurnished room and do own a lot of furniture which I can either bring down or put back into storage.
Hey everyone! I'm moving from Canada to Sydney at the end of January to study education at USYD. I'm looking to find a place that will feel like home and not just a place to stay. I love being at the beach, going out on the weekend, and anything breakfast related (am also partial to a Netflix binge with lots of popcorn). Hoping to live with likeminded people who don't mind hanging out and having drinks now & then when work/school/etc permits :)
Hi! I've just returned from doing my 2 years in the UK, followed by a short stint working in the UAE, and am now making the move from Brisbane to Sydney to complete a masters at USyd. Looking to move any time between mid January and the end of February. I'm looking for an affordable place, with good public transport links. More importantly, I'm looking for some friendly housemates - people who are keen to hang out socially every now and then, not just a house where we're constantly ghosting each other 😁. I'm an easygoing, friendly, clean, and straightforward housemate. I love cooking, eating, binge watching TV (the same as pretty much everyone else), live music, and pub quizzes!
23, Sydney local, work full time in PR, love food and yoga in equal measures. Pretty chilled mid week but up for a vino on the weekends!
Hello! I'm Ellie, I'm 26 years old and work full time as a primary school teacher. I've been living in Sydney for about 2 years now, and am moving out of my current place due to relocation of housemates (going overseas etc). I would love to find somewhere that feels like a home - relax with a glass of wine after work, occasional dinners/drinks with housemates, or simply vegging out on the couch watching netflix. Keeping common areas tidy is important, as well as chipping into jobs around the house (cleaning bathroom etc). When I'm not working, I enjoy being near the water, catching up with friends and eating good food. I'm looking for a place to stay relatively long term, so it would be great to find some like minded housemates! Ideally I am hoping to find somewhere to move in from Saturday 21st January.
Hey, I've just gotten back to Sydney after a few months travel and am starting work full time at a law firm (that I currently work part time at) in June. Finishing up my law degree for the first 6 months of the year. I like to run, paint and have a drink with friends. And I love sausage dogs.
Hey! I'm Bek, I'm 22 years old and work full time as a junior architect. I've grown up in Sydney my whole life but am looking to move closer to the city for work. I am looking for a place to stay relatively long term, so finding the right housemates a priority. I am looking for a place with friendly people that I can hang out with when I'm home - occasional dinners together or just Netflix and a glass of wine. I am generally a very clean and tidy person and would get along well with housemates who all pull their weight! When I'm not at work I like to play sport, bake, stay fit and healthy, hang out with friends, and go camping.
Hi there, I am a 26 year old female, recently relocated from Melbourne to Sydney for work. I am working full-time as an architect in Pyrmont. As a housemate I am easygoing, respectful and friendly. During weekdays I enjoy a quiet night-in, while on weekends I tend to be out and about exploring the city and the beach. In my spare time I enjoy going to exhibitions, movie screenings and creative workshops. I am looking for like-minded and easy-going housemates:)
My name is Kelly, I'm 24 and I work in hospitality. From the states originally. Looking for a comfortable place that feels like home. Not looking for a party house, but somewhere that has a nice common area or yard to hang out and relax in. More than okay with my roommates having friends over as well. Not a smoker, not allergic to pets, up for having a beer now and then, going out for some drinks, and chilling out at the house. I will probably be working 30-40 hours on average. Clean respectful and considerate roommate, looking for like minded inviduals. Cheers
I am a friendly, positive and open-minded person. I love to chat, learn, or watch a film over a glass of wine or a beer. I cook and bake lots (and love to share!) I'm looking for some respectful housemates that are willing to have a laugh, and consider their house a home.
Hi there, We are two graduate student friends from Sydney University who are looking for a place to stay. Andi comes from Indonesia as a Ph.D candidate in the field of cognitive neuroscience, while I am from rural New South Wales, and am entering the first year of my medical degree (so, basically, we are nerds who want to live as close to the university as possible). We are both very tidy, responsible, safety conscious, respectful towards fellow housemates, and overall peaceful and friendly guys. As I am here representing the both of us, please feel free to drop me a line if you think we are suitable housemates for you. We look forward to hearing from you, and offer a peaceful welcome into the new year. Kind regards, Treelo and Andi.
Hey guys! I'm esther, moved to Sydney from Perth for work. Loving it! I'm super career focused but always have time for a wine or two. I'm preferably looking for a place in Glebe, or super close to it. Fun friendly and respectful roomies, who can respect privacy too. Shoot me a message if you want to 😊
20, studying Journalism at UTS and working part-time. Looking for accommodation close to campus with some friendly people. I enjoy socialising but also keep to myself when I have uni work to do.
I'm Hannah, I'm from the UK and been in Sydney for a month now. Looking for a chilled, sociable, furnished flat in the Redfern for the next 3-6 months. Would be great to find housemates who are up for having a drink or dinner together occasionally! Like being outdoors and active, eating, drinking, looking forward to exploring Sydney but also happy to chill at home in the week as have long days at work!
I'm a level headed and well trained housemate. I'm fairly chilled out, however don't mind the occasional night out. Harper my border collie cross poodle is also pretty chilled and is mostly well house trained :-)
Looking to move back into the city after spending the summer at home in Wollongong to study my second year of architecture at USYD. A little about myself: Aside from being at uni 2-4 days a week and working part time in Surry Hills, you'll probably find me out on a run, at the gym or at pilates (not as pretentious as it sounds, don't worry), visiting family and friends back home or exploring the city or the beach with some mates. This year I'll also be interning at an architecture firm over in Miller's Point, so I'm always on the move but love to come home to a bit of banter and a more chilled out vibe. If you're personable and mutually hate clutter, I'm sure we'll get along. I love a place with a bit of character and am happy to check out potential places over the summer so shoot me through a message if I sound like a good fit!
Hey ho! I'm Lizzie - a 3rd year graphic design student from UTS and I'm after a place to live! You'll probably always find me making and creating different things, and I'm always down for coffee, a beer or just pain ol' hangs. I do like to keep to myself a fair bit, so I promise won't infiltrate your life too much, however I'm always keen to get to know new people and bond over the magical properties of baked goods, and let's be honest, food in general. I know I sounds like an absolute blast, however if you're looking for party people in particular, I probably won't fit the bill - sorry! Other things I do appreciate are clean kitchens, a constant supply of toilet roll that I'm more than happy to contribute to, and dogs. Everybody loves dogs. I'm moving out mid-February and I'm looking for a place in the inner west. Ideally, I'd like to find a place for the year, rather than six months. If I sound cool (?), or even just cool enough to fit the bill, feel free to hit me up!
Hi there! I'm 21 year old multinational (Danish/Swiss by blood) and I'm coming down under for one semester as an exchange student. When I'm not studying social sciences, I spend my time being busy with student-committe type engagement, making music, or picking up strange hobbies left and right (speed stacking, beatboxing, card magic or Kung-Fu to name a few). I've got a way to long bucket list when it comes to what I'll be doing while studying in Sydney, but going on trips into the nature, making new friends, learning to surf and busking are chief amongst them. I'm a great flatmate because I'm very easygoing and open. It's important to me that there is a sense of friendship between people that live together, even if we might not always agree on everything. Luckily I'm good with keeping things friendly and building respect for each others boundaries.
Hi, my name is Michelle. I'm studying the Bachelor of Psychology at the University of Sydney and work part-time as a medical receptionist in Lidcombe. I'm searching for a private room close to the USYD Camperdown campus. I will be travelling in February so I only intend to stay for 2 weeks from the 15/01/17 to 29/01/17. I am a very clean and tidy person! I have lived in shared accommodation before so know how to respect the space/privacy of others. I will also treat your place like a home as opposed to a hostel. Please contact me if you have a suitable place!

Hi, I'm Erin and I'm moving to Sydney to work as a midwife at Royal Prince Alfred hospital! I've just finished studying at Newcastle Uni and am looking forward to moving to Sydney and meeting some new people to share a house with. I'm looking to move in somewhere at the end of January (from around the 16th onwards) but can be flexible with move in dates. I've lived in share houses in Newcastle and really enjoy socialising with my housemates and creating a bit of a 'homey' feel to our place, especially by doing things like cooking and eating dinner together, or just chilling out to watch a movie or some TV. I'm an easygoing person to live with, and am always up for a chat, but also understand and respect personal space and alone time. I'm clean and tidy, and like to keep the house neat (but without being too picky or pedantic about it). I absolutely love being a midwife, but when I'm not working I also enjoy cooking, try to find the time to read good books, and play as much netball as I can! I enjoy getting out and about when I have time off, and love spending days at the beach, or heading out for dinner and drinks of a nighttime. :) Feel free to message me to chat if you have any questions! Thanks, Erin :)
I'm a 25 year old kiwi professional who is clean, organised, reliable, responsible and considerate. I'm quite and simple yet easy to get along well with any people or culture. Working full time, so will be out most of the week. Enjoys good movies, great music and good food. Plays tennis and badminton. Able to cook and keeps a healthy lifestyle :-) I'm a full-time professional IT graduate from Auckland, NZ moving to Sydney permanently. Working in Sydney CBD from mid December 2016 as an IT professional.
I'm political science major; originally from Turkey, studying in the US, in Sydney as an exchange student. I study hard, but don't stress much over academic accomplishments as it's more about learning and the rest falls into place eventually. I spare most of my free time to reading and traveling. At the moment, I'm in Turkey, working on a few literary translation projects. So far I've lived in four countries and have travelled to fourteen others. I was in Sydney last semester as well, and went hiking, spelunking, surfing etc. most of the weekends --that's how I anticipate this semester to be too. I love exploring around with people, or just going for a stroll or for a cup of coffee. I'm easy going, sociable and lively. I like going out, and through some wild craze every once in a while. Though, when home, especially on weekdays, I cherish some personal time and silence. I've lived with people for about five years and have had enough time to understand house dynamics. I'm respectful, understanding, clean, sharing, and I demand the same from my flatmates. I'm pretty good at cooking; I enjoy movie nights, trivia games etc. I'd like to spend my time in Sydney with warm hearted, peaceful, chilled people who can open up and can just go with the float. P.S: I'm looking for a single room, $300. Flatmates' gender, age etc. don't matter.
I'm studying at the University of Sydney. I'm fairly easy-going and get along with most people. I enjoy socialising but appreciate my own, and others' privacy. I mainly just read, study and go for walks.
Hi my name is Lisa and I am 26, originating from the Northern Beaches. I work full time 9 am - 6 pm in the CBD. On the weekends you will find me outdoors - hiking, snorkeling or having a picnic with friends. Nothing better than a glass of red and dumplings. On the weekdays I will be relaxing after work, going for the occasional jog and looking at taking up salsa dance classes with my brother.

I am a clean individual who is very considerate when living with others. Chances are I will be quiet in my room studying or will be out at the library/in class. Feel free to ask for my social media and I will be happy to provide :). I am looking for a furnished place (private room, shared bathroom ok) to stay preferably within walking distance (10-20 minutes) to the University of Sydney campus.
I am a friendly, open-minded and sociable student from Switzerland. I am very tidy and tolerant when it comes to roommates. Further I have been sharing an apartment for the past three years, so I know what is important when you are living together with other people. Cheers and looking forward to meet you soon! Nicholas
Hi guys, I'm a positive and easy going person who enjoys the simple things in life. Travel and experiencing different cultures, countries, food are only a few of my favourites things to do. I play tennis and football and enjoy going to the local cinema for an independent/art-house film. I'm originally from Colombia and have been calling Australia home for the last 15 years. I have travelled quite extensively both overseas and interstate during that time. I just moved to Sydney from Brisbane. I'm a geologist and own a couple of investment properties interstate and am currently exploring a career change.
Hi, my name is Olivia and I'm from Sweden, currently living in Stockholm. I will be studying communication design in Sydney from February 20th for 2-3 years and I'm looking for a place to stay. I love pets but won't be taking any to Australia, like to go jogging or do yoga and enjoy eating healthy. If you feel like you would want to live with me, send me a message! :)
