I am from India. I have stayed in UK for 4 years for my Bachelors degree and in China for 2 years, I know how sharing a house/place concept works pretty well ;) I am moving to Sydney for my Masters degree in Professional Engineering Aerospace at the University of Sydney. I would like to rent a place from 1st July 2019. I like to stay busy, staying fit and occupied with outdoor activities like hiking, sports or gymming. Also enjoy company and conversation with few beers. I am very good at giving space to my housemates and I don't interfere. I always intend to be helpful when asked. In the matter of conflict il be straightforward and discuss the issue in a polite manner. I am quite structured on weekdays and like to have fun, relax and/or socialising on weekends Sydney is going to be a new experience and as everyone I'd like to start it economically efficient as well. Please feel free to contact if you think we can be appropriate house buddies! Cheers, Vidisha
I'm a 27 years old guy from Germany and I’m doing a PhD at USYD for the next three years at the Architecture faculty in Design & Urban Media. I lived in Sydney already in 2016 and I enjoyed it so much that I’m really looking forward to be back. I'm interested in art, design, tech, making, music and enjoy football and running. During the week I will be quite busy with university, however, in the evening or on the weekend I’m always up up for a beer or having dinner. I'm easygoing, house-trained and also lived in shared apartments before - for example in 2016 in Newtown - a place I would love to live again:) If you think that I would fit in, I would be happy to hear from you! Cheers, Marius
Hello, We are a Turkish couple and our names are Ozan and Ceren. We are 25 years old and we will stay in Sydney for at least a year for educational purposes. Beside education, we will work full time too. We are clean, friendly and quiet couple. We respect others privacy as well. We don't smoke or don't have pet. We'd like to rent the room from December to June. Let us know what you think, best regards.
I have 5 years of hostel experience in my school life back in India. I have played division cricket and am one who is heavily into other sports as well (football, hockey and swimming namely). I am a huge foodie. I am hassle-free and friendly. I maintain cleanliness. I love music of all kinds. I love outdoor activities. I am a team player.
Ryan (24) from Scotland. I’m an easy going guy who likes to keep things tidy around the house. I’m very punctual with rent and enjoy having a couple drinks but also respect privacy and space. If I sound like youre ideal candidate or wanna know more, let me know :)
Hello I am a tidy and easygoing guy looking for a room, preferably close to USYD. I am 23, from Greece and even though I may used to be a bit of party person, as it is my final semester and I want to improve my WAM I plan to limit it to some quiet drinks with the roommates every now and then. I spend the last year on exchange in the Netherlands sharing an apartment with four other people and we created a home environment I that I would like to have it again.
I am fun, easy going and maintain personal space. I am quiet but love a good party. I don't mind pets (not much of cat person but I don't mind them). I'm an international student and I'm okay with living with people from any and all cultures. I am an architecture student but that doesn't keep me from having a good time. I've lived in a share house before so I'm pretty good with living with other people as well as chipping in on the responsibilities (we've never failed a house inspection, that should tell you a lot about my habits). I can be a hardcore binger so if you're down for a complete GoT/Peaky Blinders/Breaking Bad (the list is pretty long) marathon count me in. That being said I like to nap a lot too so that should prove that I can keep you good company as well as make sure you have your personal space. I'm a recreational gamer which means i game only when I can and don't go on for hours without eating or sleeping (xbox ftw). Lastly i'm (almost) always down for any outing from lunch to snorkeling you name it! As for the team-up thing, i'd prefer if you were in my age range and/or can vibe with my description above. Cheers!
Hi All. I am Kin from Hong Kong. I will stay in Sydney for my master degree in USYD. I am interested in scuba diving and photography. Nice to meet you!
I'm a 21 year old full-time law student at the University of Sydney looking for a new place to call home. I am a friendly, clean and chill person and have been living in Darlington this past year. Usually you'll find me quietly studying, online shopping, cooking new things or out exploring (as I'm originally a kiwi!). Look forward to hearing from you! :)
I'm originally from South Australia and am moving to Sydney for a new job. I've had great experiences living in share houses before - in Adelaide, Canberra, Indonesia, Melbourne and London - so looking for more like-minded new friends to share with. I'm the sort of housemate that enjoys unwinding with a glass of wine and a chat at the end of the day, but happy also to do my own thing. If I'm home, you'll probably find me in the kitchen cooking, in the living room reading, or in my bedroom playing guitar or looking after plants. I am nature-seeking and a bit of a culture nut so I like to go out and explore on the weekends (and am happy to have company). Also since I'm from interstate I'll be looking for housemates that are cool with me hosting the occasional visitor. If that all sounds good, I reckon we'll be right. P.S. I am currently travelling in the States so won't be able to look at places/meet people until mid December, and looking to start renting around the same time. Please keep this in mind when messaging me, as I know some of you will be looking to fill places sooner.
Hi! I'm a uni student doing my honors next year and working part time in retail. I've been living happily in a sharehouse for two years but looking to move to a more convenient area - closer to the city/central. I'm a tidy person and have no problem in helping to keep the house clean. I love going to galleries, wine and good food! Hoping to find a private room (that’s unfurnished and can fit a double bed!) with clean and social housemates :)
Just finishing up a gap year, moving from Melbourne to Sydney to study at USyd. Really enjoy anything active and outdoors, adore animals, cooking is awesome, love a chill night with friends, a few drinks and good music. Very keen to get to know Sydney and some fun, outgoing, down to earth people. I’ll be studying medical sciences and languages and teaching music to young girls in a choir part time too!
I am an international (Canadian) student starting a graduate program at USyd in Jan 2019. For the past few years, I have been living away from home and have had great experiences with my roommates and shared housing. I am clean, respectful, flexible, and very easy going. As my program is very vigorous, I will be spending the majority of my time in the classroom, hospitals, laboratory, and the library. Therefore the size of the room and any fancy facilities aren't my priorities. I am just looking for a clean and affordable place that is within walking distance to the school. I'm planning to move in in mid-Jan. If you're place is clean, affordable, and close to campus, please contact me!
Hi, I'm a USYD student looking for accommodation for a year, possibly more. I'm tidy and fun to talk to but also respect your personal space. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hey there! I've recently moved to Sydney and looking for a place I could call home. I work full time and as a Data Scientist. I'm fairly easy going but getting enough sleep is important so not looking for a party house. I love animals so happy to team up with animal owners. I'd love to live with people that would be my friends so we could have flat drinks, dinners, games night, Netflix night ect
I'm a veterinary student from Stockholm, Sweden. I am currently in my final year of university and will be doing some rotations at the uni teaching hospital starting January. I love animals, cooking, exercise, studying and getting to know new people from all around the world and of different ages. I've previously lived with a homestay family, in a flat by myself and in a share-house. If you think we might be a match then I look forward to talking to you and getting to know you more! Cheers
Hey dudes, my name's René and am originally from New Zealand. I'm 25 and not far from starting a PhD but might go med school if I can get my shit together (unlikely but who knows). I finished my undergrad end of 2014 and have worked a fair bit since then, so I don't have to drink $2.99 wine anymore. As for me personally I'm pretty relaxed on just about everything. Or think I am at least. I've grown up a wee bit since undergrad and I can't really be bothered partying hard like I used to, unless it's Midnight Mafia or HTID. I'd rather get stuff done ya know? A beer and low quality chat sesh every now and then doesn't go amiss however. I guess my schedule is a bit irregular, but not like getting in at 3am irregular. In my spare time (hah) I'm busy with sporting commitments, work and owning a motorbike (off-street parking for this would be heaps good, lots of bike thefts in Sydney lately :'( ). Feel free to ask me about anything else I may have missed in this very general summary.
Hello! I'm an American exchange student studying visual design at UTS next semester. I love decorating and making spaces feel cozy. Keeping common areas tidy is a priority to me. For fun, I like to go to diy music shows, coffee shops, and museums.
Hey everyone! I'm a student making the big move from Canada to study at the University of Sydney this January (flexible date), and am looking for a new place to call home! I will be in the USYD dental school program, so any other dentistry / med students out there especially - let's chat ! But of course, I am open to meeting others as well. I am excited about this new experience and am hoping to make new friends to go explore the area with! A bit about myself: I have had the experience of living in shared rental housing (private room/ensuite; shared common areas; males & females) during undergrad and I understand the responsibilities and dynamics that come with it! I find living with cool people I vibe with - a lot more fun and enjoyable than living on my own. Currently, I've been working F/T so I can relate to and respect the "young professional" lifestyle as well! I'm an open-minded, easygoing, social, trustworthy, and energetic person. I love going out and having a good time with my friends, and value the chill days in too. I appreciate independent time and also respect others'. I enjoy a bit of banter, am always down for an adventure and a good time and like to joke around and laugh a lot. With that said, I also know when I need to buckle down and hustle - aka the study grind! As your housemate, I will: pay my bills on time, clean up after myself, respect your privacy, respect our shared space, share, be generous in the kitchen (I'll be happy to share what I cook or to cook together), remember to communicate, be understanding and considerate, and contribute to a positive environment. Other random things about me, I also like to: go to the gym, go to the beach, read a good book, toss a football around, watch football & hockey, go to sporting events, go out dancing, go to concerts, be outdoors, go on hikes, go for brunch, check out new cafes/bars/live music, binge on tv, try new things, travel!! Oh and I love (and is almost always) listening to music! && You can trust me to 99.9% of the time - have a fresh pot of coffee brewing each morning. I'd like to meet flatmates that are like-minded; honest, socially active, chill, fun-loving and values a well-rounded balanced lifestyle. I'm hoping for something at least a year long with the potential of more, since I will be in Syd for the next couple years. To sum it up, if you're a nice person and I sound like someone you'd be down to live with, then shoot me a message! Thanks for your time and I'm super excited to hear from y'all :)
*My preferred length of stay is flexible* Friends say I am easy-going. I enjoy discussing the news, great places to visit or having a laugh. I'm not really a party person, I'd rather spend the day at the beach or exploring somewhere new. I prefer a peaceful, tidy home and tend to clean things up as I go. I can cook and happy to make a meal or two for others during the week. I also have a few side projects so I am very comfortable giving others plenty of space. I'm pretty good at reading social signals and going with the flow. I run a small Digital business so I'm organised and pay bills on time. My interests include Blockchain, Arts, Travel, Food, Comedy and Health. I look forward to meeting you.
I am 24 years old Yacht Designer and I am working in a design office at Lilyfield. I have interests like hiking, swimming, sailing and traveling!!! Looking for a private room, please send a message to me if you have any!! Regards, Rumeysa!
I am coming back from six months backpacking and studying in Europe and two weeks volunteering in Thailand. Before I left Australia, I rented with flatmates for two and a half years and we all had an enjoyable time! I am sociable, easy-going and a good cook so the kitchen will always smell nice! When I get back to Australia, I will return to my casual job at Macquarie University where I work 20+ hours a week and I will finish my last semester at the University of Sydney, after which I plan to do my masters in Secondary Education.
Hi! Thanks for checking out my page. My name is Nicole and I'm a Science student at University of Sydney. And, I hope to look for a place to stay from Mid/End November 2018 till Mid/End January 2019. As a person, I'm really cheerful and easy-going, thus, I get along well with others. I'm also rather organized so I tend to enjoy my frequent "clean-up"s. As outgoing as I am, I also enjoy the privacy of my own room; I am only looking for private single rooms. If you're interested, please do drop me a message.
