Hi there! My name is Kelsey and I'm moving to Sydney to go to the University of Sydney to do my Masters. I'm looking for a comfortable, relaxed place to live and hopefully cool roommates. Happy to commit to 4 months and then see how it goes, if the opportunity to stay for a year is there and we enjoy living with each other then I will be happy to stay until my studies are complete! My move in dates are pretty flexible, don't mind staying in an Airbnb for a couple weeks if the place is right, however I will be ready to move into a place on Monday the 27th. More about me: I'm 25, from California (but have been living in Australia for a year) and a pretty chill person in general. I love cooking (especially if there are other people beside myself eating), the gym, exploring (so much more to see!), yoga, finding fun places to eat, good coffee spots, and a cheeky beer. I work in hospitality, however most of my time will be devoted to school. Also, I am properly clean! I'd love to chat with you more about your space! Looking forward to hearing from you! Kelsey
Hi guys! I'm Juliana, a chilled and down-to-earth girl in her mid-twenties. I'm coming back to Sydney after some time in the motherland to do a master in environmental engineering and for work. I've done the house sharing thing a dozen times (meaning I'm house-trained) and now I'm really looking for a place to call home as I'm in for the long term. I'm a friendly, social and respectful person. I do my parties outside and at home, I'm more relaxed. I'm expecting to be very busy with Uni, work, and stuff but I'm generally always up for a chat, a shared meal or/and beers. My general interests include going to the movies, festivals, beach, hiking, running, eating (yes, it's a hobby), TV shows, wine, craft beer, renewable energies and so on. I like to try and do new things and I'm open to anything that can make me a better person. I also used to be an avid gamer in my good old days but can't seem to find time for it anymore. Anywho, I'm looking for like-minded people who appreciate their household, have individual lives but are also happy to socialise with housemates. Ideally the place must be well connected as I rely on public transport, not carpeted (allergies :/) and the room, big enough to fit a double bed, a desk, clothes rack and a two-door wardrobe (built-ins would be great). I'm not big on smoking but if you do it outdoors it's no issue for me :) I'm hoping to pay up to 300/wk with bills included. If you have any questions or know of/have a spare room that would be suitable, please do message me. Thanks for reading this far. I promise I'm more fun that this profile let it shows. Cheers Juliana
I am a researcher/epidemiologist who was raised and has got pharmacy education in Beijing, China then spent the past 10 years studying and working in Sweden. Have various interests, e.g. swimming, running, hiking, lots of sports, photography, etc. Love good food, especially seafood and vegetarian food. I like to follow some simple and easy recipes at home, rarely make red meat dishes at home though. As a working professional, I usually wake up around 6.30-7am and go to bed around 11.30pm. I enjoy afterwork, having dinner with friends, watching movie/documentary/tv, going to the gym/swimming pool, or joining some evening courses during weekdays' evenings. On weekend, I sometimes stay at home, work some extra hours, hanging out with friends in a relaxed way, or go for some outdoor activities. I am a clean, tidy and quiet lady and have good references from previous flatmates. Have lived in student corridor room, in shared apartment, and lately got my own apartment in Stockholm. I think I have got some experience living in an international environment and sharing and managing cleaning errands and bills. I like to have big and small plans for life and the future. My current plan is to do a two-year postdoctoral training in Sydney (at a research institute in Glebe), then to go back to Stockholm. It would be great if I can get to know more cool friends/flatmates that share similar values when it comes to shared housing. Looking forward to being contacted if you think I could be a proper candidate.
I'm starting uni at USYD and looking to live in a sharehouse with other students or people around my age, also keen to join up to start a new share house. I'm looking around the inner west, not fussy about the condition of the place but just want somewhere chilled out & social.
Hearing alternative opinions to my own is a wonderful thing. I love listening, and also providing my own perspective if it is wanted. I appreciate both company and solitude. I love cooking, eating, and sharing healthy and tasty food. A clean kitchen is something I adore. I beatbox, play didgeridoo, religiously frisbee, football, and communicate. I don't drink much, but embrace a cheeky beverage or two when the time is right. I like providing and receiving positivity, although I am more than willing to give ears to a negative perspective. A nice balance of meaningful and playful conversation is something I enjoy.
French easy-going working couple, looking for a room in a flatshare in a neighbourhood not far from the center of Sydney (Close to work). We both work in hospitality, Sarah is sommelier in a gastronomic restaurant, Hugo is currently casual job waiter applying in luxury hotels for supervisor. We would be delighted to live with english speaking flatmates, respectful and whilling to share a social moment from time to time. We love food/cooking, wine, cultural stuff, simply enjoying days-off.
I'm a Canberra born and bred pharmacy student at the University of Sydney who's ready to leave the nest that is student accommodation! I love to keep common areas and my room tidy and clean, but I'm far from being OCD. I love to go out on the weekends, but always feel the need to be on top of my uni work during the week. I love having a chat and chill, but appreciate alone time every now and again. I'm vegan, but not the annoying kind (yes, we exist!). If you're part of a pet-friendly household, I also have a particularly gorgeous ragdoll I'm waiting to have move up to Sydney with me at some point. If this doesn't suit, it's absolutely no issue. I also work at a pharmacy on King St every Saturday. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or just want to get to know me a little better!
Hey dudes, my name's René. I'm 23 which is old as for a student these days. I'm starting my masters in Sydney next year, and this particular flavour of masters focuses on radiation physics in medical context. So like cancer treatment, imaging technology and whatnot. I been out of uni two years now, did the BSc at the University of Auckland and finished up there end of 2014. Since then I've worked a number of different jobs saving those coins. So that's sorta where I'm coming from on the academic side of things. As for me personally I'm pretty relaxed on just about everything. Or think I am at least. I've grown up a wee bit since undergrad and I can't really be bothered partying hard like I used to. I'd rather get stuff done ya know? A few cheeky beers every now and then doesn't go amiss though. I'll probably be out of the house most of the time I guess, between coursework and sporting commitments, some kind of employment and whatever other social opportunities crop up. So if unobtrusive flatmates are your thing I'm your guy. My sport of choice is weightlifting so I got decent at cooking since one of the things we in the community like to do is eat a lot. One-pot wonders are a specialty and a couple of them I have whittled down to an art form. Feel free to ask me about anything else I may have missed in this very general summary!
Looking for a furnished place to move into ASAP for six months plus. Would prefer my own bathroom (or shared with one other). Non-smoker and would prefer to live with other non-smokers. Animal lover (especially cats) but not bringing any with me. Would prefer an all female flat, or a mix of girls and guys. Please don't contact me for shared rooms, living rooms or rooms split with dividers. I'm 27 years old, working in digital advertising full time and just finished my masters last year. I work in Pyrmont so ideally looking for something within walking distance or close to the light rail or a train station (would consider paying more if I could walk to work). I'm very chilled and sociable, but also like my downtime and respect other's space. I like quiet nights in watching a movie, drawing or learning a new language (I speak six). I also enjoy swimming and trying new cuisines. Bonuses include that I'm first aid certified and am also trained in mental health first aid as I used to be an RA, so I'm great if you need a shoulder to lean on. Things I appreciate in a flatmate are cleanliness, respectful in regard to noise levels and just generally friendly. I've lived in a variety of situations including on my own, in a number of flats with singles and with couples and in a dormitory. Happy to provide references from previous places if requested.
Hi! I'm Michelle. I'm a PhD candidate at Sydney Uni. My PhD’s full-time (it's a paid position), but I also work regular hours as a research assistant and do some casual teaching. I'm looking for a large unfurnished room in a clean, quiet and harmonious home close to the Uni. I'm hoping to find somewhere that I can love and take pride in, so would be sure to pay on time, clean up after myself, pitch in etc. I don’t smoke, am not a big drinker, and am more of a dinner-with-friends socialiser than a big party person. My idea of fun is a yoga class, a SUP lesson, a picnic at the beach or an evening in discussing life and politics. And perhaps the odd night out dancing. I'm fairly independent, but would like to have a warm and comfortable relationship with my new housemates. It would be great if we got along and could share the occasional meal or chat. Anyway, let me know if you have a room and think there’s potential. I’m hoping to move in early April and stay until at least the end of the year. Budget is around $300, ideally including utilities. Sadly I'm allergic to cats.
I do homebrewing and bicycling. I have LPs and comic books and a library. I've lived long term in Darlington - Redfern for 15 years and want to stay in my neighbourhood with people I get on with. I'm degreed with postgraduate work but work as a bicycle courier full time 50-70 hours. I'm mostly interested in sharing a house over a flat due to bicycle storage and loving terrace architecture.
Hey! I'm a 19 year old Londoner doing a semester abroad at Uni of Sydney, I'm studying philosophy and interested in all things literary and cultural, love to go see exhibitions and stroll around the city! I'm told to be quite easy-going, generally a chilled-out person, I keep myself pretty tidy but i'm no clean freak. I enjoy watching movies, having conversations around a bottle of wine and going out to bars/clubs. I like to sing and play guitar and that's maybe the only nuisance i'll bring to your home (if it is one) I've lived in a flatshare for the past year and it has gone brilliantly! Hope to meet you soon ;) Anna Lisa
Hello! We are three full-time health professionals (2 of which will be sharing a room) looking for at least 2 other relaxed and tidy people to go house hunting with in the inner west. The rough plan is to be finding a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom place together for a late March or early April move, where you would be on the lease along with a very cute dog and cat. The upper end of our group budget is around the $1200 mark which will initially divvy up to at least $300 each, less when I (Nadia) move in after finishing up a contract in Newcastle in July, and even less if we find another couple (so, couples very welcome!) We are a chilled bunch, prone to the odd drink after work but never obtrusive or lazy with common area cleaning. Expect the house to be quiet a bit of the time as 2 of your housemates are shift workers. We would love to meet anyone who thinks they would suit the vibe of the house, and get started organizing inspections over the coming month! P.S, as we haven't nabbed a house yet, the costs of each room hasn't been set. Happy to negotiate this further for couples once we start looking for houses :)

Loves; baking, running, traveling, watching bad TV. Hates; bits of food in the sink. Who can walk away from that? If you can then I might be a good addition to your household.

My name is Jack I am 24, I finished uni at the end of last year and I work full-time at a law firm in Pyrmont. Originally from rural Queensland, I lived at Macquarie Uni for the duration of my degree and I'm now looking to move closer to the city but also to a suburb with a nice social scene. I’m pretty chilled out at home and enjoy a chat and a drink at night (and sometimes more on the weekend). Cleanliness is kinda important for me – after living at uni for so long I am longing for a tidy place and casual, fun housemates. My interests include reading, movies/TV, astronomy, critical thinking and debate, drawing, writing, law, current affairs and many others that I rarely have time to get to.
I'm an exchange student from Berlin, Germany, who is coming to the USyd in February 2017. I'm possibly looking for a fellow flatmate who is at best a student himself. My open-mindedness and my social awareness enable me to make friends very fast. I like doing sports as basketball, soccer and weight training, relaxing with friends, dancing and reading. Looking forward to meeting you
Hi! My name is Noah, I'm a 25 year old student from Amsterdam looking for a nice place to stay during my masters. I've been living toghether with two roommates for the last three years, so I prefer living with others. I love (board)sports, good food, art and festivals and a nice party every now and then. I like a tidy place (I have a weird obsession with doing the dishes). Love to meet new, amazing people, going on adventures and doing awesome stuff.
Hey all, I'm Leonardo from Rome, Italy. I'll start my PhD at USyd in a few days (it's a paid position which involves research and some teaching) and I'm looking for a shared house close to the University. I'm 25 years old, friendly and easygoing. I've lived in a shared house for years, always being respectful, collaborative and clean, and taking part in house chores. Ideally I'd like a shared house where people like to spend some time together, cooking, sharing meals, talking and laughing over a glass of wine from time to time:). In my free time I enjoy listening to music (mostly over my headphones, without annoying everyone), reading, exploring the city and surroundings, cooking and having a good time with my friends and housemates.
Hi I'm Jaime :) I'm 24, an interior designer, yoga fanatic, hiking adventurer and brunching enthusiast. I'm looking to find somewhere long-term with lovely housemates around the Surry Hills/ Glebe area. I'm always up for a good chat and a stroll/ jog, but also love my down time.. usually to cook, read or plot my next grand business idea. I love healthy cooking and eating, and can often be found in the kitchen. In a typical week I'm out of the house between 8 - 7pm weekdays, and in and out on weekends. I'm considerate and tidy, and hoping to live with people who are the same. It's really important to me to live in a clean and well kept space. I want to live somewhere where friends and partners are welcome, but don't want a party house. I don't smoke and am not a big drinker... tea is my jam. If I sound like a good match for your place, please get in touch by mobile - :)

I am a social, friendly kind of person, who loves to cook and have the odd glass of wine. I'm political science major; originally from Turkey, studying in the US, in Sydney as an exchange student. I study hard, but don't stress much over academic accomplishments as it's more about learning and the rest falls into place eventually. I spare most of my free time to reading and traveling. At the moment, I'm in Turkey, working on a few literary translation projects. So far I've lived in four countries and have travelled to fourteen others. I was in Sydney last semester as well, and went hiking, spelunking, surfing etc. most of the weekends --that's how I anticipate this semester to be too. I love exploring around with people, or just going for a stroll or for a cup of coffee. I'm easy going, sociable and lively. I like going out [and through some wild craze] every once in a while. Though, when home, especially on weekdays, I cherish some personal time and silence. I've lived with people for about five years and have had enough time to understand house dynamics. I'm respectful, understanding, clean, sharing, and I demand the same from my flatmates. I'm pretty good at cooking; I enjoy movie nights, trivia games etc. I'd like to spend my time in Sydney with warm hearted, peaceful people who can just go with the float. P.S: I'm looking for a single room. Flatmates' gender, age etc. don't matter.
I'm a second year film and advertising student at UTS. I'm from the Blue Mountains and I'm looking for a place closer to uni. I'm a pretty chilled person, who's not overly into partying - but I do like a social drink or two. I love film, TV, books and photography.

I will be working part-time during the semester, but I love all outdoor sports especially freediving, hiking, swimming, mountain biking at the weekends. I'm fairly laid back and always up a laugh, It'd be great to live with some people who I could go out for the odd beer with. I'm clean and enjoy cooking, don't smoke and have no pets. Text/Call if you want to arrange a meet up. Cheers, Will
Hey! My name is Christina, 25 years young, born and raised in Texas (rest assured I am not a Trump supporter), have been living and working abroad for the last 2.5 years. I will be moving to Sydney to study full-time and am looking for a place to call home! I am looking for a private room in a shared house (NO shared rooms, preferably furnished, but can do without) with chill flatmates who enjoy socializing and the occasional glass of wine or 7 on the weekends. I cannot stand mess so you'll never be living in a dirty house with me, always pay rent on time, provide free petsitting and dog walking for your furry friends, enjoy cooking for a crowd, and will let you piggyback onto my Netflix account. I'm huge into ice hockey, American football, and rugby so sports outings/couch sessions are a must. I am typically a homebody and prefer nights in to out partying, but am always down for a good time. Basically I love naps but I stay WOKE. Open to short-term leases but would prefer long-term. My budget is around $250 but willing to pay more for the right place and facilities. Looking in the areas surrounding University of Sydney but if there are public transport options direct to the University, I will consider. Let me know if you have an available room and I sound like your cup of tea! Arriving in Sydney on 28 February and can move in anytime after that date. Cheers and hope to hear from some of y'all soon! :)
Hi, I'm Nicola. Currently studying - Diploma of Costume, i'm creative and fairly social, happy to have a glass of wine or a G&T and a chat, yet i definitely like my own downtime, and am happy in my own company. Not a big tv watcher so there'll never be a tussle over the remote! (although if you've a good movie up your sleeve, happy to keep you company!) I pretty much like all types of music except country and western but don't make a habit of turning the volume up, preferring to read a good book or do a spot of painting/sewing/other creative stuff. I'm a clean up after myself as i go in the kitchen and tend to keep my stuff out of common areas (unless you like books, then i'm happy to add to the bookcase!). Easy going, open minded and like a good laugh. Ideally a room with either a mostly north west or west aspect is what i'm after, for the light - it's all about the light! Even a mostly north with bit of east will make me happy, as long as there's loads of light for my artistic pursuits. High ceilings would be great but not a "must have", prefer an unfurnished room but i can also work with furnished. If you like to have the odd impromptu party - not crazy kinda party (although i DO love a good costume party!), more the dinner party kinda thing, or mates over, that's fine by me - i may join in, invite a friend or two of my own along, or leave you all to it, either way, i have no problem with that sort of stuff if that's what you like to do. I don't have a pet, but if you have one that'd be awesome! Dog/Cat cuddles are the best!
Hi! I am studying Veterinary science full time at the University of Sydney and am looking for somewhere close to main campus, quiet, neat and friendly! I am a Masters of Commerce student at USYD and will be moving to Sydney on the 24th of February. I am originally from Brisbane and am seeking a household that is both social and respectable where communal dinners and wines may be a common occurrence.
Hey there, i'm Carly and i'm a student at UTS studying communication. I'm a traveler, film enthusiast, love to bake and am often at music festivals. I'm working part time and will be looking for a room somewhere in the inner west close to a train line, light rail or buses. I'm house trained and sociable, and am often baking or cooking something interesting. I'm looking for something long term, so minimum must be 6 months. I'm ready to go with bond and rent money to move in ASAP. Looking around Leichhardt, Glebe, Erskinville, Stanmore, Petersham, Newtown, Enmore, Annandale etc. I have all my own furniture so need somewhere unfurnished.
Hi everyone. My name is David, I'm a 30yr old Taiwanese boy, currently studying cookery and working to pay the tuition fees at the same time. So I have a quiet busy life, but when I have free time, I like to do some social drinking, hangout, BBQ at park, beach, ...etc. Easy going, a good nonjudgmental listener, love food, love cook, and love to share food, a big time home cook. As a chef, I can't stand people who doesn't clean after themselves. And because my study still have few years to go, I'm looking for long-term stay(like 2nd home). That's pretty much everything I can think about right now. Hope can hear from you soon. Cheers :)
My name is Nini, I'm 22. I'm from a community in north-western Australia but have moved all over the place and settle in Sydney for the past 4 years. I am about to start a Masters of Sustainability at University of Sydney (thus the move to the inner west). I will also work part-time so i won't always be in the house. That being said i am still looking for a place to call home with friendly housemates who are up for the occasional chat and hangs. Some things are like are playing/listening to music, travelling, growing plants (maybe start a garden if you have space?), quality bants, craft beer, red wine, anything arty, dogs, cats, good coffee, anything ecologically friendly and of course a good old fashioned Netflix binge. I have experience sharing space, always pay bills on time, i'm clean, pretty handy at fixing stuff and cook a mean vegetarian meal. Let a sister know if this fits the search! Cheers, Nini
My name is Jeremy who have been living and studying in Sydney for 3 years. I recently finished my exchange study in the Netherlands and will be back to Sydney in early February this year to finish my Bachelor degree. About my study, I am a third-year undergraduate student at USYD doing bachelor of International and Global studies and majoring on government and international relations. You may have guessed that I'm the person who enjoys stuyding politics, sociology and languages. I am a friendly and open-minded but also quiet person. I am tidy and clean and will always take good care of where I live. I like coffee, reading books, watching drama and also participating all kinds of outdoor activities. When it comes to making new friends, I can be a little bit shy at the beginning, but if we really get along well, I am also the person who will much appreciate our friendship. Generally I consider myself not a boring person to hang out with (I hope you agree with me). Since I am a private person, I preferably want to live in a private bedroom. If you happen to have a single bedroom for rent. Please do contact me and I'd love to answer any questions you may have about me. Thanks a lot!

I`m an outgoing, easy to talk to and fun to party with kinda guy. I`m no stranger to living with roommates. I would love roommates who like to do stuff together. I can cook, and I don`t mind cleaning. I like to swim, run and work out in general. I would love to hear from you. Cheers
Hello fellow vegans and vegetarians, I am looking for 1-2 people to form a vegetarian/ vegan household within the inner west, Camperdown, Newtown, Glebe, Annandale etc. I want it to be a positive space filled with light, bookshelves, comfy nooks for reading and meditating, spiritually focused and consciously lived, but with a sense of child-like fun and profound conversations also. I would prefer to live without a TV, but lots of plants, slow food, yoga- living intentionally. I am a 46 year old veterinarian and PhD student at Sydney Uni. I don't have pets or kids, but do love friends and good quality contemplation and conversation. I've been looking for a 2-3 bedroom house in the area but haven't started applying until I find some groovy people to join me. I anticipate moving in mid march. Is anyone out there with a similar vision? If so, email or phone me and lets talk about it!
I'm Libby, I'm 25 and I'm currently studying post-grad psychology after having had a stint in marketing. I currently work 3 days at a psychology clinic. I really love to travel and try to get back to Europe once a year if I can, with a particular fondness for Scandinavia. I like to go to a gig or two occasionally but also have nights when I chill out at home with a glass of wine and Gilmore Girls. I'm pretty open-minded and respectful of others' privacy but ideally would love to be in a house which catches up occasionally for drinks or dinner.
