Hi ! :) I am a 20 year old French girl who just arrived in Sydney. I’am working in the CBD full time and staying for 17 weeks. I am looking for a private bedroom. I am very sociable, easy going, clean and believe to have a good sense of humor. I’ve been traveling a lot and would love to discover Australia ! I’m always down to meet new people and am respectful. I have friends in a lot of different countries and am very open minded. I speak french, english, spanish, a bit of chinese and can read hebrew.
I'm a college professor from Barcelona, Spain. I'm coming alone to Sydney for 3 months starting at end of April 2017 to collaborate in a research project with some colleagues of the University of Sydney. I'm looking for a flat well located in the city and not far from the University of Sydney. I like doing sport (fitness, swimming, bike, running), hanging around with friends and sightseeing.
Updated 29/3/17 Hi there potential new house mates! Easy going, fun, clean, tidy, polite and respectful 30 year old working professional. I work in Mascot Monday to Friday and live pretty quietly during the week. At weekends I am usually out and about with friends. My Name is Mikey and original from Worcester in the Uk the home of Worcestershire Sauce, (you're welcome by the way) All round good person with a heart of gold, quick wit and wicked sense of humour. I get along with most people, house trained and hates dirty dishes left in or by the sink. I can also leave the toilet seat down or up depending if sharing with Jane who sits or John who pisses all over the seat. I love live comedy, music and sport, going out and trying new places to go out for dinner and drinks. I have been living in Sydney for 4 years and currently looking to find a new place to come home. I would like to live with like minded housemate(s) who are of similar age, social but don't live in each others pockets. But I can also have the occasional evening meal and drink with. Not too Keen on a living in a house that is having a party every school night but sure I don't want to live in a nun's convent that lights are off and no noise after 10;30pm either. All about a happy medium. I have lived in shared houses before and only interested in a Private room, no share rooms. I have bedroom furniture, bed, chest of drawers but I will need a Wardrobe or have to buy on if the room you have on offer doesn't have one. For the last year I have rented 3 bed apartment and one of the lease holders with a friend I shared a house with previously. We rented the third bedroom out. For the last month or two we have been going to open inspections and applying for places but have not had much luck. Either the place has not been right or we have been pipped at the post by other applicants. We all know what it is like scrolling on domain/realestate.com.au and applying for places, going to the viewings and not hearing anything until the place has already been leased and the deposit has been taken. Very Frustrating. I m also interested in looking at starting a new place so the place would be ours. If you would like to find out more or have a place that may become my new home please get in contact
Hello :) I am 21 years old, I am a french girl, student in Vatel hospitality business school. I am happy to come in Australia for 6 months to work in a 4 star hotel in sydney. Im looking for a nice room for this 6 months. I love living in community I have always lived with roommates I am a very orderly girl and very friendly, I don't smoke. I can live with girls or boys
My name is Lucy, I'm a friendly and tidy flatmate. I'm currently working in Martin Place for a catering company and volunteering at Greenpeace on their Digital Engagement team. I just got back from a European tour and am residing in The Blue Mountains at the moment, I want to move to the inner-west because I want to live closer to where I work. Added to this I love the culture and friendly community the inner-west has to offer.
I absolutely love cooking and baking - so I guess what makes me great to live with is the fact that I'll happily cook us a Sunday lunch (my speciality is garlic and herb roasted lamb with crispy roast potatoes). Aside from that I'm trying to get back to my fitness (honest!), love reading a good book, binging on Netflix occasionally, and, of course, having a weekend wine. I'm also working for a major furniture department store in the marketing team - so I have first dibs on sample sales!
Hello! My small dog and I are looking for a home. We are looking for housemates who LOVE DOGS. I am looking to live within walking distance to a train station or light rail station as I don't drive. Sorry, I am not looking to share with any smokers. I'm a 28 years young full-time 9am-6pm working professional in the photography industry in the CBD. I'm a non-smoker and born in Sydney. I am honest, responsible and clean. I keep my personal and communal areas clean and tidy. I am respectful of other people and their personal space and property. I'm friendly, like to hangout/chillout and like to get to know people. At the same time, I'm quiet, shy and like to keep to myself as well. I'm looking for a place to live where it's quiet, drama-free and not a party house as a good night's sleep is very important to me. During the working week, I like to take my dog for walks, go to the gym and go to bed as early as I can. On the weekends, I like to treat my dog to the dog beach/park, skateboard and cook. I'm looking for flatmates who wouldn't mind feeding my dog once in a while when I stay out past dinner time if I'm out at a music concert or doing something at night. Of course I'd be more than happy to doggysit my flatmates's pets if they'd wish :) My dog is a 6 years young male Chihuahua. He is doggy door toilet trained, desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. He is a clean indoor dog and sleeps on my bed. He needs to have access to indoors and outdoors when I'm not home so he can go to the toilet outside and sleep inside. I have a removable doggy door panel which is simply a vertical panel of glass with a doggy door at the bottom which slots in next to a sliding door. He loves people but needs time to warm up to them, so he is shy and nervous initially. He is friendly and playful with other small dogs. He hasn't lived with another dog before, but I think a dog friend would be good company for him as he doesn't like to be home alone. Sorry, he is not cat friendly. He loves going for walks, playing ball and following me everywhere around the home. He does bark when someone leaves or enters the home, but only for about 30 seconds. He also barks if he sees another dog walking outside from the home window. So we are looking to live with people who are understanding and tolerant of these now-and-again barks. He is very protective of me, and becomes scared easily if treated badly by someone and may nip to defend himself. So please, we are looking to live with DOG LOVERS ONLY who will show him lots of love, and won't grab him or yell at him aggressively. The only piece of 'furniture' I would be bringing to the communal part of the house is my 17 years young fish and his 90 litre fish tank. It would be ideal to have the tank in a communal area as he likes to watch people walk past and he swims after them. It would be fantastic to place the fish tank close to a sink for easier changing of water. My interests/hobbies include going to the gym, skateboarding, going to music concerts, taking my dog on mini outdoor adventures, watching movies, film photography, board games, and arts and crafts. I would organise my own food as I cook fresh meat and vegetables for my dog as well. I would most likely cook my week's worth of food on the weekend then freeze it so I don't have to cook during the working week.
I am clean, tidy, work full time, am respectful of others' space, have been living in share accommodation for over a decade, don't smoke, like to be social, but also keep to myself at appropriate times.
I'm an adventurer Argentinean who lives in Australia for almost three years. Recently lived in Melbourne, now moving back to Sydney where I will be starting my next job as a Product Manager for a company called Mentally Friendly. I spend my time meeting entrepreneurs, generating new ideas, sharing activities with friends, playing basketball and training Olympic weightlifting for fun. As for my personality, I'm easygoing, friendly and happy to share good moments as well as to respect everyone's space and privacy.

Hello, my name is Hana and this will be some sort of an essay but I thought since I'm looking for a person to live with, it's important that I make sure you know the basic things about me and I, with yours. So we can get comfortable and feel some sort of security at home. Here it goes.. I am an easy-going person, friendly, love a good laugh, multi-cultured and open-minded so there will never be short of fun conversations. I like my quiet times but also try to socialise on the weekend; love the beaches and great Sydney night scenes. I am multilingual; I speak fluent English, Bahasa Indonesia, Malay and very poor Dutch as my mother is Indonesian and my father is Dutch. Although, I am an Australian citizen now. Before Australia, I've lived around a few countries in my whole 20 years of life, in cities such as Jakarta, Bali and Singapore. So if you come from or have lived in any of those places too, we'll have great fun relating through them! I have one year experience living in a share house with seven other girls when I was up in Newcastle, so I understand the aspects of living together, sharing a home under mutual respect. At home, I am undoubtedly very neat and tidy with my personal spaces; I take very good care of my belongings and their surroundings. You wouldn't have to worry about mess or dirty dishes hanging around the house because I cannot stand them let alone live with them! If you have pets, I'll love them to bits. My parents are keeping my two dogs; Snowy is a Japoodle and Bruno is a pug. If you have a dog too, maybe we can take them on nice beach walks on sunny days as mine loves it! Education wise, I'm currently deferring my bachelor degree; Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Laws from University of Newcastle and planning on transferring to UNSW when I resume my study next year. The reason being is I'm taking a break whilst working full-time to create some savings. Right now I am on the hunt for a much more professional career, ideally it will be situated in the city but at the moment I am still working as a full-time barista in a French cafe in North Shore area. Needless to say, your daily bread need is sorted. White, wholemeal, rye, sourdough, you name it. I usually bring home hot pies and cakes too! Although I always try to keep up a healthy lifestyle five days a week. The other two days I eat yummy sugars watching Netflix. So if you are up for a gym and Netflix buddy, I'm your gal :) I hope this time I'll find my luck in finding the perfect flatmate. Hit me up if there is any question you would like me to answer, please keep it interesting. Looking forward to meet you! X Hana
I'm at university five days a week, so I am looking to move closer to the city (I currently live on the central coast). I am quiet and reliable but I also don't mind chatting and making friends. :)
Hey, I'm a fun, easy going Scottish guy on my path moving to Sydney to work as a carpenter and enjoy the lifestyle for at least a year or so. I like to keep my living space clean and am respectful to my flatmates. Looking forward to hearing from some of you in the future.
Hello . Im TJ. I am a casual person by nature maybe a bit shy at times. I'm social ,friendly and easy going. I have traveled a lot .I did my schooling in India and I have lived in the UK for the past 7 years , I decided to move after Brexit and picked Australia . I have never been and 'Im on a Work holiday pass so I will be looking for work mostly ( I'm a Mathematician ) and I have no idea what to expect. I'm looking for a fresh start. I was raised a Hindhu but I am an atheist and dislike religion in general. Casual drinker but recreationally I like pot more than alcohol. I'm ideally looking for a short term arrangement because I don't really know where I stand with employment currently. I'm also fatter than my pic shows me to be.
American moving to Sydney on June 1st I am looking for spacious house with outdoor patio and large bedroom. Seeking fun loving flatmates that enjoy free time with each other (LGBT is a huge plus) Very outgoing extrovert, world traveler, seeking to experience new cultures and adventures, lover of red wine and great conversations. Please feel free contact me!
Laid back, easy going animal lover, new to Sydney so looking for something long term. I work nights and study through the day so you'll barely see me even when I am home. I'm very clean, fit, fun. I'm happy go lucky but appreciate my privacy as I'm a bit of lone wolf. So I can't live with anyone who works from home as that's a bit TOO much time together for me. Lol. I'm friendly, and respectful, a little social but non-stop party houses won't suit.... although I don't mind the occasional party - I work in clubs so I like my home to be quiet. No share houses please, and no students, no couples -and no sleezy men. Contact me to discuss. Lisa
Hey guys! I'm a Spanish American studying abroad for the semester at Sydney University. I'm pretty chill, down to go out for some drinks or stay in and cook/ watch TV. I'm independent, clean, reliable, and super friendly! Feel free to shoot me a message to discuss housing and chat. Move date is flexible too.
