We are a friendly, social, active and easy going couple moving down to Sydney from Newcastle. I will be starting my masters at Sydney Uni and Dan works full time as an electrician. In our spare time your can usually find us at the beach (dan loves to surf), at the gym/swimming, eating brunch (we love food), drinking copious amounts of coffee or watching netflix. We don't mind the odd drink (or many drinks) here and there and we can't wait to get out and explore Sydney on the weekends.
I’ve just moved back to Sydney after living in NYC. I’m a 19-almost-20 year old doing a Bachelor of Arts at Sydney Uni. I’m a total creative and am an avid writer, adore all sorts of music and trashy novels. I also really enjoy cooking and eat a relatively healthy lifestyle, but guarantee you will find me in the kitchen at midnight every now and again consuming my bodyweight in ice cream. I’d love to have the total flatmate experience with barbeques and drinks, or just the occasional movie night but I am also someone who really enjoys having downtime and am totally respectful of everyone having their own space. I’m friendly, open, social and house proud which means it’s really important to me that I am living somewhere that feels like home!
Hi there, my name is Michele and I am a professional from Germany and just moved back to Sydney permanently. I am easy going, clean any tidy. I like to socialize and enjoy the city. However, given my work keeps me very busy and amongst people constantly, I do enjoy some quiet, private time as well. I have plenty of experience sharing apartments with different numbers of people as I have lived abroad in different countries for many years now. My biggest success has been living in an apartment with 4 other girls and just one bathroom...we all survived!! :) I am really looking for a longer term living situation as my job keeps buzzing and I would like to come home to a comfortable place where I feel at home and able recharge. I hope to find a place where communal space is used to chat and hang out and feel at home. Not a place where everyone is hiding in their rooms, kind of fed up about the living situation (I have also experienced that before and it was awful) Ideally I am looking for another professional or 2 to share a house/apartment with. If that sounds like something you are interested in feel free to contact me and please do not hesitate to ask any questions. Looking forward to hearing from you. :)
My name is Holly. I am originally from the Northern Beaches. I have lived in the UK whilst working there and have done a fair bit of travel to Europe, Africa, India, the Cook Islands, Indonesia and frequently visit NZ as all my extended family are based there. I am a Uni student studying a Bachelor of Teaching at the University of Notre Dame. However I have lived out of home before and I am very mature and responsible. I am honest, trustworthy, reliable, clean & neat. I am easygoing, positive and happy. I work in hospitality, am active and love surfing and yoga. When I'm not studying or working I usually surf or am outdoors with friends. I’m not a smoker and I don’t have any pets.
Hello, my name is Alejandra. I am 27years old, independent, clean and easy going. Very respectful of peoples private space and happy person to be around. I enjoy music, reading, quite nights in, or eating out. Ale
Hey, I'm a 27 year old full-time finance professional looking to upgrade to a place closer to the city - so flexible on move date. Low maintenance, tidy and considerate - all about having the house side of things sorted so we can get on living our lives. I work long hours but otherwise you'll catch me at the local gym, beach or bar. At home you'll find me cooking some exotic dish, writing some crazy research paper or catching up on the latest NFL game. Always up for the odd summer bbq or drink. Love my adventure sports so a lot of my weekends are spent outside of Sydney.
Hi, I'm Helmut, I'm from Germany, 41 years old, working full time as a Master Floral Designer/Masterflorist, I work normally 5 days a week from 7am to 4 pm. I'm DTE , I enjoy good conversation and a good laugh, I like cooking, swimming, going in the gym, ...... I'm honest and reliable professional. Having a great work ethic translates to respecting those i live with. I like to live in a clean, tidy house. While I do not have pets, I'm animal lover and do not mind if there are pets in the house. I enjoy socialising but do not do this at all hours as I respect the people I live with.
Hi! I'm exchange student at WSU from Taiwan. I would like to live near the Glebe because my church is there. I'll stay for almost 5 months to 6/30 2017. Some of my habits includes photography, make some films and reading. I can be quiet but I like to chat. (if someone like to be evangelized by me, I would like to do that for you^ ^) I'm looking for a nice girl who can share a single room with me.( start from Feb 2017)
Hi there, my name is Alex. I'm a 25-year-old guy who is focused but fun, wanting to contribute to a homely and respectful household. I'm very tidy, clean and quiet. I love a good chat and friendly housemates. I'm originally from Melbourne, studying postgraduate law at Sydney University. Don't hesitate to ask me anything you'd like to know.
Right now I call Seattle, Washington home, until February when I relocate to Sydney. I'll be studying business at the University of Sydney for a semester, so I'd like to find somewhere to live nearby campus. I love traveling and experiencing new things, and tend to be pretty spontaneous. Growing up at the beach in California and around the lake in Washington, I also love being around the water. I'm easy-going and respectful of others' space, and am hoping to make some genuine friends while I'm in Sydney. On the weekends, I like to relax, and often enjoy concerts and grabbing drinks with friends. If you're interested in trying to find a place to share, or have available rooms in your current place, it'd be great to hear from you! (dogs are a huge plus, too)
Unless there's a lot of noise on a weeknight before we have to work, then not much really bothers us. we clean up after ourselves and respect peoples privacy.
Hi, my name is Diego. I recently relocated back to Sydney. I am looking for a furnished home to share with other young professionals (ideally a room with an ensuite). I'm originally from Colombia and have been calling Australia home for the last 15 years. I have travelled quite extensively both overseas and interstate during that time. I'm a professional with +12 years of experience in the Energy Sector. I own a couple of investment properties interstate and am currently exploring a career change. I'm a positive and easy going person who enjoys the simple things in life. Travel and experiencing different cultures, countries, food are only a few of my favourites things to do. I play tennis and football and enjoy going to the local cinema for an independent/art-house film. What can I offer: - I am very clean, tidy and organised - Financially stable - Non-smoker - Responsible, reliable and respectful - Easy to get along If anyone has something coming up, please PM me. Thank you.
Hey, I am Axel, 26 years and come from Germany. I will be staying in Sydney to do my Master Thesis at the Australian Centre for Field Robotics (ACFR) until end of July. I love doing sports such as Handball, hiking, swimming etc. I am open minded and like to hang out with people, go out to have a coffee or a beer and love talking. I am definitely looking for an accommodation not to just sleep in but also to share time with people. Cheers Axel
I'm a 26-year-old professional working full-time in the city; in my spare time I enjoy going to concerts, doing a bit of running and hiking and a good brunch/wine. I'm looking for team-up or a 2-3 bedroom share flat, preferably in Kirribilli or Lavender Bay. I do have a car so need either a parking space or an on-street parking permit. Let me know if you might be interested in teaming up!
I'm currently offering my services as an awesome flatmate. Are you looking for someone who knows how to human, respect your boundaries and personal space. Someone who is the flat mate chameleon, available for a cheeky beverage when necessary but also can disappear at those times you need your you time. Then look no further! A bit about me so you know I'm not a serial killer (I'm told it happens). I'm 26 and I work full time in hospitality and advertising. I'm currently working with Huberts so....potential discounts at all the best bars. I have all the hobbies. I used to sing professionally but now it's all about that salsa and learning spanish. I'm quite busy with friends and work so I'm usually out of the house but I like having an awesome home environment to come back to. I'm moving because whilst I love where I'm at I want somewhere that's more central and closer to where I work. How friends have described me: Hugh Jackman: 'Jordan Hunt is the best human being alive' Bill Gates: 'Man to watch for 2020' Ghandi: 'Would friend on facebook' But in all seriousness. I'm looking for some awesome flat mates who know how to human and have a great vibe. I figure that if you have a bit of social acuity all the other stuff like respecting personal space, cleaning after yourself, communicating, etc, all come pretty naturally. For me, I want to live in an awesome place because it makes a huge difference. Don't hesitate to shoot me a message if you feel like this is something that could work.
Im kate, a 25 year old full time worker. Im a creative (love me some graphite and writing books... currently on the hunt for a typewriter). Im a pretty chill gal, easy going and friendly. Im tidy and respectful and enjoy a sav or a reschs when the occasion calls. I am responsible with bills etc and can offer cackles, cuddles, a guitar, a tv, and a vintage couch that desperately needs a new home. I am also a vegetarian and am beefing up on my quorn recipes (but not actually beefing.. get it...) I like trivial pursuit and mario kart. I also enjoy the beach and sleep.
My name is Bek. I am an easy going, open minded, 28 year old events stylist. Currently I am living in Little Bay but am looking for a new place with carefree, non-stressful, friendly environment and an easy going house mates. Hoping to move within the next month or so but can be flexible. I am quite social but don't usually entertain at home beyond a few glasses of wine with some friends or hanging out with my boyfriend. Have lived in a few different share houses before and am very chilled out and like to have other people around, but do like to have my own space to relax by myself every now and then,
We are all working or have a regular source of income we are clean tidy people and in our spare time we like to have a quiet drink, but mainly to relax. We are looking for a 3 bedroom house/unit/ apartment.
I'm 23yo and from Scotland and I have just arrived here on a working holiday visa. Looking for a room (ideally my own but open to shared rooms) to rent that is comfortable and affordable! I'm friendly, easy-going and like to keep things clean and tidy. I like socialising, going for a drink or to the beach, exercising or just chilling out! Will be working full-time and looking to move into a room anytime after the 25th of January. Looking to stay for a few months before moving on to travel for a while :)
My name is Carla, I'm in my mid-twenties, and I'm a Filipino-Australian who's been living in New York the last three months, though I'm back in Sydney now. I used to work as a copywriter at Groupon Australia and would be looking for a job in a similar vein. I am definitely looking for a place where I can stay for at least six months. I grew up in Manila, Philippines and lived there til 2015, when I moved to Australia. I'm an avid reader and will probably fill up the room with my own private library of fiction and graphic novels - willing to lend them out to housemates if anyone is interested! I'd say I'm a pretty chill, laid-back person who's sociable and extroverted, though I'm also a big fan of 'me-time' spent watching Netflix and reading in my room. I used to live in a sharehouse when I was last in Sydney, and never had any problems with getting along with people. I'm also a good cook, if that helps any! I'm a generally clean person, though not especially tidy - I'll have some clutter but never have piles on the floor, though. I hope to hear from you :)
I pay rent on time. I am clean and tidy. Respectful. Chilled and easy to get along with. I love a good laugh and can hold a conversation. Social but not a party animal, still love my quiet time.
Hi I am an easygoing, open minded young traveller. I hope to live and work in Sydney for at least 3 months. I am a very neat person and I am respectful of other peoples space. Some of my interests includ cooking, writing, dancing, yoga, hiking and rock climbing. I like a quiet night in but I do like to go out on my weekends. I am hoping to find a place in a good central location and I also am very money conscious so a lower biweekly rent is preferred. Please contact me if you or anyone you know has a spare room available. Cheers, Mari
Looking for a new place to call home with people I can be good friends with! I'm house trained, friendly, reliable, clean, love music, travelling and very much into sustainability stuff :) I'm also Brazilian (but have been in Sydney for past 5 years).
Hi Everyone! I'm Jess, a twenty something girl from England looking to move in to a flat or sharehouse from the end of January. I work full time as an event manager but love to socialise and am very easy going. I'm looking for a super friendly place to live, I'm happy to catch up over wine or Netflix but also understand the need for personal space. Ideally looking for somewhere Inner West so I can walk to work but open to other locations with good transport links.
I love socialised with people, I'm friendly, clean and responsable. I am originally from Italy, moved to Sydney the last September and before then I spend 5 years in London. I'm hairdresser and I'm working for an international company which allows me to travel wherever I wanna go;) I love travel and meeting new people.
We are a young fun couple with steady full time jobs. We are happy to hang by ourselves or with other housemates. We are social but not overwhelming! Neil is a carpenter so he has handy skills. We love pets and don't mind people smoking.
Single, dependable & extremely easy to live with. Looking for a share house/apartment on the train line to Newtown/Macdonaldtown station (so I can walk to RPA) and close to gyms. I used to live in Sydney awhile back but I've been off the grid living overseas in recent years. I've mixed with a LOT of different people & blend easily with all types. Oh, I could tell you some stories... you should see some of the crazy stamps in my passport! I'm the good-girl flatmate that's sfuper clean, reliable with money (you needn't ever worry about this), non-drinking (allergic), non-smoking, bit of nerd, bit of street, great for silly or serious chats, great at being invisible too when I'm binge-watching documentaries. Otherwise, I'm the flatmate you'll never have to worry about. * Sorry, I'm not into drugs or in-house drunken parties.
Hi ! I'm a 24 year old child care worker from the U.K. currently on my second year visa. In the week after work I enjoy relaxed evenings with dinner. Weekends are spent exploring the various beautiful beaches NSW's has to offer ! I also enjoy a Saturday night having a few drinks at Coogee pavillion or in the city. Alternatively I love to just relax with a bottle of wine! I am looking for a room in a house with someone similar of age to me with similar interests. I am very clean and tidy, laid back but can be great fun to be around :) I hope to hear from you :)
A little about me, I turn 23 this year. I'm originally from Perth but moved to Brisbane to study at the QLD Conservatorium of Music when I was 19. I just graduated my BA in Musical Theatre in December and am looking to make the big move to Sydney around early March. I have a job lined up in Newtown. Being a performer there will be times when I need to sing in the house for practice and getting ready for auditions etc. I'm always incredibly respectful and try to do this when no one is home, but there may be the odd occasion (so as long as you are all cool with that). I love cooking, drinking, watching movies, going out and going to the gym. I'm a pretty bubbly upbeat guy, however love my down time and can sense when others need theirs as well.
Im from Spain, but I lived abroad 6 months in Vancouver and 3 in Seoul. Im a freelance blogger about Netfllix and VOD channels. I have law degree. Im studying marketing one year. I like rock music, travel, movies, local beer, internet. Im friendly but i like my privacy and do plans by my self sometimes Speak English please. Im looking for one private room, with bathroom or at least the bathroom only share with one more. Clean, tidy.
I'm a 23-year-old female on a Working Holiday Visa. I've just arrived in Sydney today and am open as far as inspection times go. Looking for a place for the next year or so. I'm a pretty balanced roommate; I keep to my own space a lot, but love being able to hang out with my roommate at the end of the day. I like wine, I'm not loud, and I'm clean. Please reach out! I promise I'm not weird or too messy.
Hello all! My name is Sovesta and I am currently studying bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering. Would love to make some new good friends and make my stay in Australia as memorable as it can be. I love music and soccer and many more things. Lets just put it this way, I'm a bit of everything! :) Feel free to shoot me a message! Xoxo
Hi, I'm Lena. I'm a 34-year-old researcher (psychology) and I will work at Sydney Uni for 18 months, starting in February. I'm looking for a share house/flatshare preferably in Glebe - because it's close to uni and the water, everything can be reached on foot, I've lived there before and liked it. I'm looking for a house/flatshare that is not too large (4 people max), ideally working professional or non-party student. As far as my "flatmate" personality goes, I'd say I'm more on the quiet side. I will not throw noisy parties, I will work full-time and I need the occasional alone time to relax. Having said that, I'm looking for a house where people don't just live side by side. I enjoy cooking dinner together, having a glass of wine and a discussion, or spending time out of the house with my flatmates. I'm considerate, responsible and tidy and I will keep up the good vibes in your house :) I'm arriving from Germany - Feb 2 would be the earliest day to arrange a viewing (skype is also a possibility). This means I don't have any furniture, but don't let that keep you from contacting me - I don't mind buying new stuff. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hello! I'm Alana and I'm looking for a new place to call home. My lease runs out in March at my current house in Redfern. A little about me: I'm clean and respectful. I tend to keep to myself during the week (working the 9 till 5), but on the weekends I love to socialise. I don't have any animals of my own, but I'm very animal friendly. I am originally from Queensland and moved to Sydney about 2 years ago for work. So making new friends is on my 'to-do' list :) If you think I could be a nice fit into your home, please let me know. Kindest, Alana.
Hello everyone, my name is Britta, I am 26 years old and from Germany. I am about to start working as a legal assistant at a lawyers office in Sydney. I am a reliable, happy, open minded, clean and quiet person who is looking for a place to stay, as I have been traveling for a few months now and can not wait to have a real home again. My hobbies are Photography, Yoga and Hiking and I have been in Australia already 10 months in total now. I love the Sea, Sydney itself and I love to cook. I leave shared places like the bathroom or the kitchen as I find them and my own room will always be tidy. I am looking for like minded people to have a great time with and who respect privacy at the same time.
Always happy to chat but also like having chilled out times reading, listening to music and whatnot. Work in the arts sector so enjoy all things creative, plus beach, tasty foods and wines, walking in the park, chatting with cats and dogs, all that jazz :) Looking for a share house from March onwards while my partner heads to the UK for work in 2017, currently living in Newtown.
I am looking for somewhere close to where I'll be completing my Pharmacist intern year in Woollahra, happy to settle anywhere around the inner west/eastern suburbs. I'm a friendly, sociable person who is always up for a chat/netflix marathon but also respectful of quiet time and personal space. I love animals so if you own cute little pets it's a bonus! Some of my hobbies include baking, photography and travel. Looking for a single room only (no shared rooms!) and hoping to share with like-minded people of a similar age.
I am young and easy going. I am easy to get along with and easy to live with. Very clean and will have no problems making payments on time.
I am 20 years old and work in the performing arts. I am looking for a room from late January until the end of March. I'm very tidy, easy-going and chill to live with, always happy for a chat but also respect people's space!
Hello, we are a couple from Scotland (UK) looking for a place we can call home for 4-6 months. We are both young professionals looking to enjoy the auzzie lifestyle of working weekdays and enjoying the weekends outdoors visiting all of the beaches and sites Sydney has to offer. We are friendly, fun, reliable and very clean/tidy (we thoroughly enjoy cleaning!). We enjoy socialising and are a very laid back couple. Our favourite thing to do is eat - therefore we love trying new restaurants. Looking for accommodation close to public transport (preferably trains) Lisa - Administration Duncan - Joiner/Carpenter
Heyyyyyy guys! We are a super sweet couple looking for some nice peeps to move in with. I am a full time worker and my partner is a student 2 evenings a week with part time jobs, so we both have a good income.. We are always on time with rent, bills and clean up after ourselves. We always help with household chores, always :) We like to be social, but do love our downtime as well. We are both really easy to get along with, no dramas - just good vibes!
Outgoing and outdoorsy, clean and tidy, working full time as an engineer in Sydney CBD. I'm looking for a like-minded household with other young professionals. Easygoing and always happy to be social and share a few beers / meals as a flat. Generally spend my weekends out and about, however every so often I will gladly veg out on the couch. Have a heap of my own whitegoods, so hopefully that sweetens the pot. Terrible at writing these bios and recognise that while share houses can be a great way of meeting people, they can be challenging if the fit isn't right. Would love to meet you for a coffee/beer/drink of choice for a chat to test if it would be a compatible fit.
Hi! I'm 30 and I come from France. I'm in Sydney for a 7 month internship and am looking for a place with roomates to share some good talks. I'm quiet and tidy and I like sports (running, hiking and surfing particularly)! See you
I'm friendly and get on with most people, but a little bit introverted. Tidy up after myself and have a clean room. Love the beach, like to cook and don't mind sharing. would like to move in with people I can be friends with. I work a lot so will be in and out the house. I have some furniture that takes up space like a fridge, chair & futon, outside table and some little things like glasses & mugs I've been collecting. I also have a car so at least need street parking. Looking to move out in March/April
Hi I'm Sally. I relocated to Sydney a few years ago after ten years working in the UK as a documentary editor. I'm personable, housetrained, considerate, and fairly quiet when at home. I listen to Radio National, and enjoy a wide range of interests, mostly in Arts/Culture. I'm very reliable with bills, and between select freelance work I'm a very keen art student, so space for an easel would be a bonus. I'm looking for a friendly household where we might share the occasional meal or glass of wine here and there, in amongst our busy lives.
Hey! I'm Tom :) I'm a balanced person seeking a balanced share environment. I am not an obsessive compulsive clean freak, but I like to keep my environment clean and tidy (especially the kitchen). I am not a recluse but I appreciate downtime and respect peoples boundaries. I'm low drama, I've shared many houses before, and I am looking to share with people my own age. I love cooking, especially when I get to share. I also like mountain biking, bushwalking, and I live to swim. I will be working during the week and going on adventures on the weekend. P.S. I love animals but unfortunately I'm allergic to cats and dogs. So indoor pets are a deal breaker, outdoor pets are fine.
Hi! My name is Christian. I am a 28 year old spanish student, and currently looking for a job. I´d like to inspect it anytime soon. I would probably stay till Dec.2017, that´s when my visa ends. I am a very open minded person, non-smoker, not carrying any pets; I love dogs, but I´m allergic to cats. I am responsable and reliable, I am a very friendly person. I like to party sometimes, but outside. I defenitely am not a noisy person.
Hi! I am Patricia and I will be moving to Sydney first week of February 2017. I am looking for a place to stay, preferably in the inner west suburbs. I am a Filipino professional, easy to get along with, respectful, neat and won't mind having dogs or pets inside the house.

So if you think we'd get along just shoot me a message!
I'm a doctor working at St Vincent's (from Feb) but mostly office hours with the occasional on-call. I'm British but have permanent residency on Australia. I'm looking for a housemate that could also be a friend. I'm pretty laid back generally - like my quiet nights at home but also love to entertain and have the odd night out. I also want to get a dog so please don't waste your time if that's a no-go for you!
Hi I'm Brooke, I'm 24 and from Grey Lynn, Auckland NZ. I'm moving to Sydney in late Jan and am looking for a private room in a cool sharehouse in inner Sydney. I'm a marketing professional who is tidy, independent, respectful, easy going, organized and responsible. I enjoy heading along to ivy, going to the beach, and travelling anywhere and everywhere. I just returned from Europe in July and would love to visit South America at the end of 2017. Always up for a weekend adventure or a road/ferry/plane trip. Hope to hear from you soon :) Cheers!
