Hey! I'm a PhD candidate in sport psychology. I also tutor Turkish part-time. I'm having my third year in Australia coming from Turkey and Germany. I'm easygoing and friendly. I like to socialise but also fully respect people's own space. Into outdoors, psychology, basketball, percussion, photography, and songwriting (luckily not in English) :)
I am a Physics student from India. This winter I will be at ANU for an internship. I am 19 years old and very studious, but I love spending fun time with my friends and roommates. Be it watching TV series, movies or sports. I am a great appreciator of all forms of Art. Be it music, movies, plays, books or painting. I love sports. I mainly play cricket and badminton. I regularly go for Hiking or cycle hiking, and I also have a knack for adventure sports.
Hi! I am from Brisbane/Gold Coast, 29 years old, working full time for the Government (surprise!). I like to keep fit and active - outdoors / sports / gym etc! Also love good coffee, food and a glass of wine. Often up for a good chat over dinner but also need down time, so looking for a balanced place to come home to. I am very clean but easy going.. have lived in shared places for years - respectful, understanding, reliable, share the housework etc. :) Looking for a friendly environment to relax in sharing with similar young professional/s.
Hey potential housemates My name is Sharne and I am a 28 year old Primary school teacher. I enjoy my personal space but also up for a chat and binging the bachelor, bachelorette or MAFS. Hoping to find 1 other person like minded to move in with :) Cheers Sharne
Hello, I'm Japanse female & 25 years old. I'm working at hotel as kitchen hand. I like cooking, exercising and watching movies. I'm staying at backpacker, so I'd like to find a share house as soon as possible.
Hi all! My name’s Adam. I’m a 28 year old lawyer from Perth. I’m coming over to Canberra in July for a one year stint and am looking for a share house to live in. I’m not too fussed on numbers - I have lived in share houses since 2014 (and still do) of as few as 3 and as many as 6 people. I am clean, love fixing things up (especially gardens) and am as social or private as the vibe requires. I’ll be traveling quite a bit during my year in Canberra.
I moved to Canberra a little over 3 years ago for work where I got a job as a public servent who works full time (mon-fri). I like to keep to myself but also enjoy hanging out with people with a drink or two. I also enjoy cooking, baking especially. When im home I will either be sewing, drawing or listening to music. Thanks for reading.
Public servant returning to Canberra in early/mid May after a few years abroad. Looking for a place in the inner-south, preferably two bedroom setup. Have some furniture. Very easy going, have lived in 3+ person flateshares in Canberra and Melbourne previously. I’m outgoing, tidy, and respectful of space and the need for privacy.
I’m a post-grad Law Student who is currently travelling and returning back to Canberra late March. I’ll be working full time in the city, so would prefer one of the inner suburbs and am flexible with rent price. Low-maintenance, I love the outdoors, bouldering and travel to the coast pretty often so am not always around. Enjoy a drink and catch-up but completely respectful of space too. I do have furniture that is currently in storage but if the room is already furnished I’m fine with that too. Will be travelling to Germany in July this year for 6 weeks but am able to pay rent through this time. Have a car (which is not currently in Canberra), but also a commuter bike so also flexible on needing a parking space/on-street parking. :)
Hello, I'm Ben. I consider myself to be a fairly regular 26 year old male. Love getting along with people and open minded. Canberra born and bred. Bit of a Jack of all trades. Trying to get back into keeping active after joining the public service. Do a bit of gaming (Won't chew up too much bandwidth though). I also enjoy a drink and being social, although I'm usually the quiet one in a group. Clean and tidy around the house especially in shared areas. More of a 'clean up after myself' type rather than 'everyone has their turn' but I'm flexible and will fit in with established practices. Not much of a cook but willing to learn. Will do my fair share of housework. Would love to find a place with flat mates that appreciate a really friendly vibe. Cheers,
Hi I’m Georgia (GG), I work as a Communications Officer in the public service. I keep myself busy with sport/training, eating good food, and reading. I’m from Canberra so I make a great GPS or TripAdvisor.
I am working as an APS at the Department of Finance. I love nature, watching artistic films and want to get back into reading. I am looking for walking distance to Forrest or a maximum of 20 minute drive to Forrest. I am very flexible and do not require a personal bathroom. Additionally, I am a neat and tidy person.
Still looking! Hi! I'm a friendly, 35+, and am looking for a new home. I will be starting a new job with the APS after 11 years overseas (7 years with the UN) and like to cook, read, binge netflix and see my home as a place of chill and 'good vibes' and tend to use this time to recharge rather than to party. I like to be friendly with my housemates so enjoy sharing a meal and a wine and chat but respect privacy and independence. I've a good sense of humour, am fairly relaxed about most things and respect diversity. I try to eat healthily most of the time and may want try out various new taste sensations in the kitchen (I clean up after myself!) which you may or may not want to get in on. Looking for a relaxed, tidy household with larger room pref with ensuite. Parking space a bonus!
I’m a mature woman of 57 y.o. currently living in Perth and not looking to move to Canberra until next year possibly January/Feb and depending if my son is accepted into ANU. I realise it is premature but I created my profile in order to check out accomm, areas and costs expected in Canberra. If you will have accomm next year please keep me in mind. I am a vegetarian, non smoker, very occasional drinker, who likes to live a healthy lifestyle taking daily walks. I enjoy getting away on short sight seeing trips. I tend to keep to myself doing work on my computer but can also hold a good conversation. Thanks for reading and perhaps I can visit your place when we get to Canberra. Cheers.
Hi there! I am relocating from Melbourne to Canberra to commence a full-time professional role in March 2019. I have lived in sharehouses in Melbourne for many years and am very respectful of other people’s privacy, and well versed in living with others. Outside of work, I am really excited to get amongst what Canberra has to offer in terms of sports, food and wine and outdoor activities!
I have been living with housemates my entire working life and had been no problem whatsoever. Clean and tidy and easy to deal with. Enjoys chitchat over mealtime. Knows how to respect with individual spaces and time. Working in Barton area. Doesn't have a car yet so not to be concerned with carparks..:) Thanks
I am a 29 year old public servant looking for a place close to work in the Parliamentary triangle. I am a friendly, relaxed and tidy person looking for like-minded housemates to share the occasional meal/drink/activity with. I like sports, movies, music, travel, food and wine. Looking forward to hearing from you!
