Im clean, tidy, quiet and reliable and i dont mind doing my share with household duties. comfortable with any animals. Get in touch, please contact me if you have a room that is suitable.
I am 22 year old female, moving from Sydney to Canberra to join the public service. I am clean, respectful and sociable. I enjoy cooking (so you can expect lots of home cooked meals), reading and watching TV/Movies. I love my alone time but also love a good chat. I am looking to share an amazing home with equally amazing people.
Hi I'm Josh. I like international cinema (Pan's Labyrinth is amazing), black coffee, I'm quiet and I'm vegan (if you're not that's fine too). I'm 23, I've just moved from Newcastle and I'm studying a B. Economics at the ANU. The occasional dinner/film with housemates would be fun, though I respect privacy and space. I like to keep a clean and organised living space and would be happy to share chores. Before now I studied different humanities part-time in Newcastle. I can move anytime within the next month.
I'm about to start working full time in heritage. I've just left a great share house with my friends in Canberra thinking I was moving to another city, but landed a job here! Love living with other people, and I'm up for having a chat and some wine with my housemates. I keep my place tidy and am easy going. I'm looking for a cool place for six months before I'm off to Glasgow for a Masters.
I’m a full time public servant who is also studying part time. I’m originally from sunny Western Australia. I enjoy keeping fit and playing sports. This is balanced by a baking addition (if you have a sweet tooth be prepared for diabetes) and love of bad television. I’m social and friendly, always up for a chat, coffee, gin or trashy television but I’m respectful of the need for personal space and not living in each other pockets. I’ve lived in sharehouses for quite some time and appreciate a clean and tidy home and am respectful of my housemates :) Ideally I’m looking for somewhere around Kingston/Braddon/Turner/Campbell etc so that I can cycle to work in Barton however but will consider outside of that.
I am a independent and neat 19 y/o girl who has just started work in the Public Service. I am easy to get along with and enjoy meeting new people and travelling. My passions are art, music, writing poetry and dancing - most things creative, really! I also have a knack for languages, having studied French and Latin at school and know some basic Italian having lived in Italy for two months working as an au pair. I am a mixture of extroverted and introverted... always up for a chat but also need my own downtime to refresh. Looking forward to hearing from you!
My name is Rob, I am a young professional working full time in Barton I'm looking for a new place in the Inner North/Inner South - as my previous sharehouse has recently broken up up after a year and a half and the commute from Gungahlin is absolutely killing me! I'm tidy, reliable, have positive rental and credit history and also like to have fun from time to time. Looking to move out in March(ish) but pretty flexible with dates. More detail if you haven't hit 'x' already: - I've lived in share houses for two years and was on the lease at my previous place (full bond returned). Before that I lived in a residential hall at the ANU for three years. - As a housemate I'm low drama and tidy. I've lived with mixed houses and grew up with sisters so I am pretty well trained on all the dos and don'ts of bathroom and kitchen etiquette. - I'm pretty work focused during the week and travel more than occasionally on weekends - but happy to be social with my housemates and involve them in my social life and activities. - I love catching up with friends, reading, listening to music, catching the Rugby in winter, trying out new restaurants and bars, collecting records, writing, going to public lectures, plays, and films, jogging, hiking and camping. I also volunteer pretty actively. Very open to new interests as well! Hope to hear from you soon!
I have just moved to Canberra for full time work. I have lived in share houses for 3 years and am very tidy and clean. I am happy to have a chat over dinner or have a glass of wine with housemates but also enjoy quiet nights through the week. On weekends I am very keen to explore Canberra. Looking to move in ASAP ideally to an established share house, if not I'm happy to teamup! I do have a car and plan on riding to work so would need a carpark/on street parking. Send me a message if you think I'll fit into your house!
Postgraduate student doing environmental studies in ANU but also working part-time in retail at Woden Westfield. Easygoing and super friendly. Open-minded and respectful person. Fascinate about trying new things and experiencing adventures of life. Love all kinds of outdoor activities but also a fan of movies and TV series. Current housemates accredited ideal housemate type. Searching for good homes to move in sooner or later before May 2018. I have a car and a bike, so parking availability is essential.
Hi! I'm a 23 year old female from Perth, Australia. I have a full-time graduate position with the APS. I am a fairly sociable, chatty person. I enjoy getting outdoors but also chilling out -- reading and watching netflix. I love brunching (classic Australian millennial) and good coffee. I am very tidy and will always clean up after myself, particularly in the kitchen. I have my own car so I will need somewhere to park it, preferably somewhere under cover.
Hello, I am a 24 year old female who would be relocating to Canberra in February for work proposes. I am very easy going and friendly. I like to keep things nice and tidy so that it would not be a hassle to other people. I prefer a good work-life balance so I like socialising and exploring new places or a nice quiet night in. I am very respectful of one's personal space but would not reject a social night with a glass of wine and some food. Please do contact me if I am the housemate you are looking for.
Hey, I'm Cameron. I'm working full time as an electronics engineer in Canberra's East, and looking for somewhere to call home. I've been living in a sharehouse interstate for the last 5 or so months and you will find me to be friendly, respectful, and easy to get along with (and I welcome you to get one of my current housemates to vouch for that - just ask). I'll keep the place reasonably tidy and pitch in for chores. I like enough of my own space, and respect that you probably do to, but otherwise tend to be up for a chat, even over a few drinks or a shared meals from time to time. I enjoy nerdy stuff like books and board games, but I also enjoy good conversations, getting out among some good scenery, and am keen to get out and explore our illustrious capital. So what am I after? I'd like to be within 20 minutes drive of work, 30 max (and obviously somewhere to park my car). Bonus points if I can cycle within 30-40 minutes too. (Preferred suburbs above are a guide only!) I'm after housemates who are easy to get along with, respectful, reasonably tidy, and will respect my need for enough of my own space and privacy. That said, I'm keen to live somewhere at least somewhat homely, so after housemates who want to hang out or just stop for a chat sometimes too. It's important that I meet (or at least talk to) all of the current housemates first. Also, I'm not interested in sharing with any couples (sorry!). As advertised, I'm after about 6 months, but there's a reasonable chance I'll look to stay for longer. The house will be big enough that I am able to have space from other people when I need it - whether or not much of that space is in my room. I also have my own bedroom furniture. Like what you see, but more questions? Don't hesitate to ask!
I am a very easy going person, I enjoy cooking, going out socially to new places but also don't mind staying in and having a drink or two. I am a Health Professional so enjoy the occasional exercise and healthy meal. I am a full time worker so enjoy some time by myself to relax but also have no issue being social and having a chat and going out together. I am a very tidy person and like to live in a clean house.
Greetings, I am a recent graduate relocating for work. I have an 'easy going' demeanour and would prefer an arrangement lasting a six month period whilst still maintaining the option to extend.
Hi! My name is Bess, and I have just moved from Adelaide to Canberra to start a new-grad job at the Canberra Hospital as a dietitian. I am clean, tidy and respectful of peoples space! I am looking for a household that is fairly social, that will allow me to explore Canberra and make some new friends! I am quite active, and love going out for brunch, coffee or hanging out for a drink!
I am very quiet but friendly boy with respect for everyone, working full time as a restaurant manager in Fyshwick. I have recently moved to Canberra from Sydney, so looking for friends as well. I am a smoker but its okay for me not to smoke at home. I would like to team up with others to share a hose together if I cannot get any single room.
I'm originally from Brisbane, and have just moved down to Canberra to start a grad job with one of the departments down here. I'm 26, and have lived in sharehouses back in Brisbane, so I understand that space and privacy are important, and that everyone needs to pitch in to keep the place clean and tidy. I've travelled a little bit (I spent about 11 months in Latin America) and want to do more at some point. I speak a little bit of Spanish as well, so I'm always looking to improve on that. I like going to the movies, particularly the foreign film festivals, but I'm definitely no connoisseur. Likewise, a Netflix binge is a favourite to chill out after work. I like to read, but definitely don't do as much of it as I'd like to, but I hope to change that this year. I also like watching sport (cricket, rugby union, NRL, I'm getting more into the AFL). Given I'm new to Canberra, I'm keen to get out and do stuff on the weekends, and meet new people, and I certainly wouldn't be averse to becoming friends with my housemates.
Hi there, I will move to Canberra from Sydney for study and work within one week. I am looking for one or two females/couples to share with. I am a easy going and friendly person. I like to make friends, and chat with people. I wish we can become good friends to hang out together and can look after each other. But I do respect privacy at the same time. I am a quiet person, but do enjoy hiking, bbq, yoga and other outdoor activities. I have a five-year old Bichon Frise (small dog). If you do not mind, he will come with me. My boyfriend has to stay in Sydney to work, but he will fly to Canberra every weekend and stay 2-3 days with me. I am a tiny person. My interests are swimming, watching movies, travelling, and reading. I have no friends in Canberra, if you go to Canberra under the same situation, we can help and look after each other.
I've just moved to Canberra from Adelaide for a grad job. Looking to find one or two people to share with. I'm easy-going, and hoping to live with like-minded young professionals or students. I enjoy cooking, beer, reading and a good netflix binge. Not a clean freak but do like to keep the place mostly tidy. I have most household items and furniture (couch, TV, fridge, washing machine etc) already so not looking for somewhere furnished, but if you already have these things too we can work out keeping the best things!
Hey all, I'm Antoni. I am a full-time student studying Medical Science at the University of Canberra. I have moved from Lithgow, NSW to Canberra and am looking for shared accommodation. I am an easy-going guy, relaxed, but productive and am an honest person. I am quite an extravert, so I value communication between friends and house mates and enjoy getting to know people, but also understand and respect personal space and time. I love cooking and coffee, but am a clean, tidy and organised person so I always clean up after myself. I am a very active person, an obsessive mountain biker and enjoy going to the gym, and enjoy going to galleries and museums.
Hi I'm Lachlan, I'm working full-time in the public service and am seeking accommodation ideally in the inner south/north of Canberra, though I'm open to anywhere. I'm friendly, easy going and have a good sense of humour. I am quiet, clean, mature and respectful of my co-inhabitants and ideally want the same in return. When I'm not at work or out exercising, I like to relax and watch Netflix, watch sport, play video games and read. I have a 3 year old well-trained Kelpie with me, so I'm looking for somewhere that is pet friendly and ideally has a yard. I'm happy to socialise and have quiet drinks. Cheers :)
Hi! I'm Vin, I work part time as a plant science technician at ANU, and as a swim teacher in the afternoons. When I'm not growing mutant plants or teaching kids how to swim, I like to kick back with a wine or cider and a good conversation or some Netflix. My passions include teaching, cooking, dancing and being active. I also enjoy playing board games, trying out new brunch spots on the weekends and going on hikes/picnics. I am a very tidy person and value cleanliness. I am quite social and easy going, but also appreciate my space and privacy sometimes. If this sounds like your ideal housemate, please get in touch and we can arrange to meet for a coffee!
Hi! I'm Tomás from Chile and I will soon start my PhD in plant science at ANU. I want to live with someone who is easygoing, open-minded and keen on keeping his/her place clean and ordered. These are the basics, but I'd also like to call my flatmate a friend, so I can tell you I'm very passionate about how nature works, I love being outdoors, gardening, I like books and movies (a lot) and to share a nice conversation with a good beer/wine. Also I'm a good cook and I love to share that with others. At other times I like to keep to myself and study, read, write or play the classical guitar. I'd like to live in a place at cycling distance (<10 km) from ANU, and which I can call home. If you feel like we'd make a good match please don't hesitate to contact me for either joining your house or teaming up. I will be staying in Canberra from Feb 28th and will have a couple weeks to look for a more definitive place. Cheers!
