I'm easygoing, friendly, humorous and with respect for all people. I'm organized, clean, decent with a good sense of humor. I'm a Brazilian guy in Brisbane to study English and I have a part-time job. I´m looking for a minimum stay of 6 months, if we get along, we can stay flatmates for a long time. Interested in single rooms with own bathroom in the region of Valley-Newstead-Teneriffe-New Farm. Best Regards!!
Hola! I am an international student from India. I belong to a punjabi family and I am going to pursue my masters degree from University of Queensland (UQ), Sant Lucia, Brisbane in feb,2017 so I am looking for an accommodation in my budget. I am very friendly and studious guy who loves to enjoy with friends in his free time. Also, I am a gregarious person and like to make new friends. Moreover, I am a big fan of american series and I am a sober guy. Feel free to contact me :) .
Hello! My name is Marian and Oscar!! We are a spanish couple and we are interested to know your room. We are going to spend a year to study english, and we are looking for friendly flatmates. We are 25 and 36 years old. I'm waiting for you answer. Thanks!
Hey, I'm currently living on the Gold Coast however my work is shifting up to Brisbane shortly and I'll be looking for somewhere new to live up there once they move. I'm 29 years old, easy going, clean, respectful of other housemates and due to working full-time (IT) and studying for a certification you'll barely see me as I'll either be at work or in my room studying - boring I know, but does make for a good housemate! Apart from work and study I like to keep fit, catch up with friends, travel and go exploring different areas around where I'm living (haven't lived in Brisbane so plenty of exploring to do!). I'm also guilty of liking a good takeout and Netflix/movie night too - this guy sure knows how to chill ;-) Anyway, I wont go into too much detail but please feel free to contact me for a chat and possibly organise a meet up to suss out if I'm a suitable housemate. Thanks for looking.... :-) PS - I have been living with a female housemate for a little over a year now and more than happy to supply a reference from her if requested....
I'm a 19 year female who works as a bartender in Fortitude Valley. I am super easy to live with, I'm a very tidy person who loves to socialise but I also like my own privacy.
I'm looking for a place to live during my first year at QUT; I'm studying a Bachelor of Journalism at Kelvin Grove. I'm currently working at Woolworths, which will continue throughout university. I’m a quiet and easy-going guy, known for being very clean and organised with my room and workspace. I’m also very responsible with my weekly earnings, which is a necessity for university life. I hope to hear from you; please don't hesitate to get in touch. 😊
I work full time (or more) as a cosmetics consultant/ makeup artist in Newstead. I am clean, easy-going and quiet and spend most of my spare time at the gym, beach or netflix-ing. I need a respectful housemate who will do their share of the housework, but mainly someone I don't mind socialising with as it makes it so much easier to live together in a friendly environment (although I also enjoy my own space). I'm looking for somewhere relatively quiet on work nights, preferably with a pool and my own bathroom. I have been renting in Kelvin Grove for the past year and would love to find somewhere around the Newstead/ Teneriffe area to avoid driving to work. Hope to hear from you soon :)
I'm very social (but know how to respect boundaries and personal space) and would love to develop a good relationship with any flatmates! I think of myself as quite easy going, but I think the main factor here is that I AM VERY CLEAN. Working well together is a major plus. As someone who is a recent high school graduate and is moving out for the first time, I know this is a completely new way of life for me and am willing to adapt too!
Hey I'm Marama, just moved over from NZ, looking for an apartment ideally so I can move out of my aunties, need my independence so I can do my own thing. Working full time in the city, still figuring out the area so would prefer to stay central or near the city! I'm clean, friendly, respectful, chill. Never late on bills. Keen to connect with someone and look for maybe a 2 bedroom apartment in a central suburb even??
Hello! I work full-time in the city and also study. I am looking for a fun and friendly house to live in. I work really hard during the week so i love having fun on the weekends, having a few drinks and socialising or binge watching netflix while inhaling unhealthy amounts of junkfood. I keep shared areas extremely clean and like to keep to myself sometimes too. I really want a place i can call home. Looking for relaxed people who won't mind being social but also won't mind if I am super anti-social in my room. I love cute animals, modern houses, privacy and my own bathroom. If you can relate at all, message me :)
Hey guys! I'm Tahlia! I'm currently living in a share house on the north side of Brisbane but I'd love to move out and get closer to the city. I'm 21, turning 22 soon. I'm a very quiet and reserved person but I love to have a laugh. On one hand I'm quite the hermit, I'll happily sit at home and do a Netflix Marathon all day but on the other hand I love to be outside and exploring new places or going to the beach. I'm a non smoker and rare drinker, I don't like to party and I go to bed early. I'm a musician and a beginner pole dancer. I love food, books, photography and videography and if there's an animal around, there's a 100% chance I'll talk to it rather than any humans nearby. I have a pet - you'll need to be open minded because she's a rat. I know I know, a rat definitely wasn't my first choice of pet either but she was so darn cute I couldn't resist! She IS strictly an outside pet though but she comes inside for cuddles. I also have a gorgeous cat called Turtle who lives with my parents - I would love to bring her up to live with me if it's at all possible but it depends on the living situation. I need to move into a place where I can put my car under cover or in a shed and I have a jewellers bench that I also need to put somewhere - a shed is ideal for that too. I would love to live much closer to the city, 15 minutes or under would be amazing. Travelling to work from where I live now is getting super expensive! I'd also prefer to move in with just one person. I also ask that my new roommate doesn't smoke please! If i sound like someone you would like to live with, feel free to contact me and we can meet up for coffee and chat sometime!
I'm a professional 32 year old female who comes with a friendly black lab. She's an outside dog who's well behaved so I need at least a small space for her with some undercover area. I'm looking to move down from the Sunshine Coast in approx. a months time. Hoping to find something with friendly house mates. I have my own friends around Brisbane but I don't mind being social with those I live with too. I'm always busy, working, training at gym and going out and I'll probably be heading to the beach a lot of weekends. I'm tidy, easy going and considerate. I don't smoke but I don't mind if roomies do. I am happy to live with people in their early 20's to late 30's. I have my own bedroom furniture which I would prefer to use.
I'm a PhD Candidate (doing my research about culinary tourism/social media and marketing). Apart from doing my PhD, I also work part-time (a few days per week) as a consulate officer in the CBD. I've lived in a lot of shared houses (both in Brisbane and Glasgow) while Bangkok and Malmö are cities where I spent my childhood. Well I like to think that I'm pretty easy to live with - however I am such a clean/neat freak and a minimalist. I really like something that's marble, woody, white or rose-gold! If the bedroom is unfurnished, that's totally fine since I have got some ideas for my Pinterest-inspired bedroom. Obsessed with all the candles, Aesop products and etc that can make the home is a place to unwind. I would say I prefer to keep the house organised and clutter-free. I mostly cook at home but as a foodie I often go out to find good places/cafes to chill out and catch up with foodies. Although I love cooking and baking (everyone says I'm pretty good at baking anything about matcha) at home, I do use electricity wisely so we can save money and help protect the environment.
21 year old female looking for a room to rent in the Brisbane area. Preferably 10-15 minutes from the city. I'm vey tidy and am rarely at home since I'm either at work or at gym or just hanging with mates. Super easy going and always down for a good time yet still respectiful :)
I'm a 26yo Czech living in Amsterdam, moving to Brisbane to do full-time studies in Psychotherapy. I have already shared a living several times, so I know to be mindful and considerate about a personal space, but I'm still friendly and easy going. I enjoy casual socializing and chats, or occasional gatherings at home, but not much of a party animal any more, and will definitely appreciate to have some privacy to study and chill on my own, too (thus looking for a single room + own/ensuite bathroom). I like travelling, volleyball, everyday workouts (no fitness freak, though), pizza&wine sessions, and animals - if there was a dog or a cat in the house I wouldn't mind :) If you're like-minded and think we could work out as flatmates, leave me a message :) Cheers!
I'm a project planner working full time. I'd love to explore the world, make new friends, get crazy and enjoy my time. I also need my privacy and respect other people's. A tidy girl who is easy to live with. My favourite hubbies are music, sports, playing piano (recently started), reading books and hanging around with friends.
I'm fairly busy working two jobs as a yputh worker and dance teacher and love coming home to relax with a glass of wine. I like having a clean house but can appreciate that life gets busy and sometimes things get a bit messy. I love to dance and have been known to start little dance parties whilst cooking and cleaning :) I guess I am just looking for a room in a house with fun people who don't mind socialising together but also understand the importance of alone time. (Move in date is flexible)
Hi :) Im 25 work full time as a nurse. Im friendly and easy to get along with. Im respectful of peoples privacy, clean, don't go out and party a lot.
I'm currently looking for a new apartment to lease until around 16th February as my current landlord has decided to sell up. I am 26, from the UK and on a working holiday visa which expires in February. Looking for somewhere within 30mins of the city (walking or by public transport). My maximum budget is $180 including bills. I currently work in the CBD for an insurance company Monday to Friday from 8.30am - 5pm. I'm fairly chilled out during the week and on the weekends like to get out and explore the city and it's surroundings or meet up with friends.
Hi I'm Anna, I'm from Melbourne but in Brisbane until the end of March for work. Ideally looking for something i can move into ASAP and vacating around the 31st of March. I'm easy to get along with, not OCD but pretty tidy. Like to be social but also like to be a couch potato.
Hello! I am goofy 26 y.o gay professional working in Medical Imaging. Looking for a place to call home with some wonderful peeps! My current roommate has sadly moved OS to live and I have opted to not continue my current lease (which ends on the 6th of March) for a bit of a change. I am super easy going, clean ( but not OCD) and considerate. Would love to share a couple of beverages/ meals, go for a hike or hit up the movies with the roomies. I like getting out and about, dabbling in crafts, hiking and keeping active. I do have to travel a bit between the GC + Sunshine coast for work, so I do have to be up and at 'em early fairly often. I am looking for an unfurnished room+ I do have a couple of other pieces of furniture ( fridge, chairs TV etc) that I can bring along with me. Please don't be afraid to ask any questions and I am happy to meet up for a coffee/drink. Cheers, Todd
Currently working the 9-5 as an Engineer in the city. Always happy to have a chat but like my solitary activities as well. I do a little climbing and like to go to the theatre often. I'm looking for a place that's no more than 20 mins out of the CBD walking distance as I like to walk to and from work even though I have a car and will need at least some kind of off-street parking.
I'm a design student at QUT who is looking for an awesome modern and clean bedroom/ensuite. I am fairly active and semi extrovert/introvert - I'm up for a chat if you are. I am looking for a place from February onwards. I am very clean and do my part to clean up as well. I enjoy my privacy and a good amount of space. Would love to live in a place that is neat and tidy. I have a 4 month old kitten which is furball of love which I will keep in my room (unless you want her outside!!). I am very responsible and an excellent housemate ! Don't mind teaming up with another female/couple .
Hello all, I am a tutor and a PhD. research scholar working at Griffith University. I work full time at the university as a tutor along with doing my PhD. I am looking for a clean and quiet place to stay. I am into working out, healthy eating and living. I would ideally like to stay really close to the G:Link or the train station (as I would be traveling from Brisbane to Gold Coast, if living in Brisbane). I am a friendly and easy going person and enjoy cooking painting and reading a lot. P.S. I am currently overseas on research and conference leave and will be returning on the 12th of February. I will be needing a place to move in precisely on those dates. As a result my only mode of communication will be this portal:) looking forward, Diti:)
I work for Uber in the Valley so ideally would like to live somewhere central. I like music, live gigs, reading, cooking, gardening, cats & dogs, board games and dad jokes! I don't mind the occasional drink and am social, friendly, honest, tidy/clean, reliable and respectful. I like to think I'm pretty easy going to live with!
I work full-time as an accountant in the valley. I'm originally from South Africa but have lived in Aus long enough to be considered true blue. Aside from bean-counting I like playing a bit of music and keeping active (I play indoor soccer and like to do a bit of running/cycling).
Hi Im Chloe! I have moved to Brisbane from Darwin, I am trained in both acting and dance. I have come here to expand more as an artist and seek new opportunities. In parallel I am also studying a teaching degree online and I teach french and dance to children. Hey! ** not looking to share a room with anybody, only wanting a private room** My name is Shay and I am currently in Brisbane on a working Holiday Visa from Canada, for 1 year, at the moment I just want to rent somewhere on a month to month basis. Max 1 months notice required to leave. *MUST* have AC in the room, washing machine and dryer and a private bathroom just for my use. As Ive mentioned I moved here from Canada so I have no furniture and not planning in investing in any, so I would need a fully furnished place. Also would like only 1 roommate. Im REALLY clean and organized and take pride in where I live and my belongings. I'm quiet and relaxed but I do love my nights out dont get me wrong, but I dont need that everyday. I am working full time and out most the day. I am a smoker, not a heavy one, and only outdoors and very clean about it. Most people don't even know. If you think we would be a good fit give me a shout!
Hi, Im Tash! I've recently just moved to Brisbane from Melbourne and I'm looking for a room to rent in or close to the city. I have a part time job in west end and will be attending university in Fortitude Valley to complete my double degree in design and business! I'm a very creative person who loves socialising equally as much as I love a quiet night at home, I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi. I'm a full time student at the moment and I have to relocate to Brisbane to study the course I want. I'm quiet, a non smoker and not into the partying scene. I'm an avid gamer so I keep to myself a lot of the times, but I would like to get to know the people I would live with.
Hi I'm Hannah, I am 19 but mature for my age. I am going into my third year of Interior Design at QUT. I have a car so a parking space is necessary and would ideally like to be located near a train station. I have lived in a share house for the past 2 years so know how to live peacefully and understand and respect other people's privacy and property. I have always paid everything on time. I am neat and tidy and pretty social - love a good chat, movie nights or afternoon bevos. I am always down to do something like suss out new cafes or going for walks. Please swing me a message if you're keen to team up!
I'm a 28 year old guy who is currently working in retail and studying musical theatre full time. Originally from Sydney, so would be great to move in with some fun social people, whilst also being able to do our own thing as well.
I am a young business professional Canadian who is looking for a quite place to rest my head. I am currently saving up to travel the rest of Australia come April and plan to venture from all sides of this beautiful land of Down Under. Consider me as an unforgettable and kind guest to open me up in your home. I am very OCD in cleanliness and go out to the bars maybe two times a month to really help me save cash to explore.
24 years old, full time professional. Prefer a modern, minimalist aesthetic. Built in wardrobe is a must. Queen sized bed and ensuite/own bathroom preferred. Would ideally like to live within 2kms of the city. My budget is $200-250.

***Not looking for a share room*** Hi I'm Caitlin! Looking for an apartment/townhouse share with 1 or 2 other females around similar age, I work full time for a bank in the city 9-5, really sociable but also love me some alone time so I won't always be up in your grill :) I don't mind pets and love to relax with a wine and a chat at the end of the day or in the weekend with my friends/housemates. I'm too old for a party house these days and would looove to live with someone that can motivate me to do more yoga and exercise! Preferably would like somewhere central city so I can walk to work but open to South Bank, Newstead etc area. Not looking to move until beginning of March as this is when my current lease ends. I'm also pretty cool and get on easily with anyone! Thanks :)
I'm a model/actress currently creating my own TV show in Brisbane, super friendly and easy going. Work part time in Bris, love animals and hanging out. Love my own space but always down for a chat and laugh!
Ultra clean and tidy, respectful of others space, friendly, outgoing and sporty/active. I enjoy playing tennis, swimming and socialising with friends. Love watching all kinds of sport and left my London based job working in Finance at Premiership Rugby to emigrate to Australia. Looking for shared accommodation NOW in Brisbane, as close to the city centre as possible for 3 months plus, ideally looking for own bathroom and a share of 2/3 people. Walking distance to the centre/shops is important as I do not have a car and wifi is a must. I will be working full-time in Finance, seeking temp work visa and looking for fun, laid back people to live with. Please get in touch if you have something suitable, thanking you. Mel.
Ahoy-hoy! I'm a mature 21 going on 22 year old female looking for a home! I am often described as having a wicked sense of humour, being laid back, respectful, polite and accepting. I currently work as an audio transcriber in the CBD and mostly keep to myself but I'm not afraid of a bit of a friendly chat! I'm very quiet and respectful of privacy and space. I clean up after myself and don't like to spread out. When I'm not at work, you'll usually find me in my room enjoying a film, reading or playing on my computer. I've got two rats at the moment called Yogurt and Graham. However, they're not as terrifying and repulsive as most people tend to imagine. In fact, they're quite adorable and affectionate little creatures. They stay in their cage, only coming out for cuddles on the odd occasion and I keep them spick and span. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you think I'd be a nice fit for your home :)
Easygoing and outgoing person that likes to play guitar, listen to good music, party, have a beer and chill. Sometimes I like to be on my own, with privacy, but I enjoy good company. Looking for a non brazilian place where I can practice my english. Aussie house mates would be appreciated :)
Hi I'm relocating from Adelaide to Brisbane around the end of march (dates are flexible). Looking for a house or apartment to share. I've lived with lots of different people over the years with no issues. I always have fun and get along with everyone. I'm clean, fun, quiet at times and generous.
I like to think that I'm relatively clean and quiet, and am able to fit into majority of social situations. If you don't want to have a friendship and just be strictly roommates/acquaintances, then that's entirely cool with me. But if you want to become my best friend and hang out nearly every day, then I am definitely down for that too! I don't know if I have too many hobbies as such, but I do love to play guitar and go on walks/hiking. I do play games occasionally, and have a couple consoles, a PC and a TV that will be moving with me, feel free to share these with me :) I enjoy going to the Gym and staying fit, as well as going to concerts and I occasionally go clubbing with my friends. I hope that I meet your criteria for a potential flatmate!
