Hey Guys :) I'm moving from Germany to Brisbane for my PhD at Griffith (I did already an internship there, so i'm not completely new ;) ). I'd like to have relaxing time with my housmates with a glas of wine or a beer. To go out here and there sounds also not to bad :D. But I also want to have my private time. I'm pretty uncomplicated and bring some cooking experience ;) I would prefer a half furnished room, means with a bed and wardrobe. So everything else is not necessary. Certainly, I'm full-time working but also like some weekend trips if there is a chance. Just contact me if you have a free room and if you are up for more then limited purpose of sharing a flat, but to socialise too :) And I would also like to find some people in my age to make some friends. I'm also in to start a new share house together. Cheers, Eva
Hi, I'm here for the semester at UQ studying tropical ecology. I'd like to find a room not too far from the university or from stuff to do in town. I am easy going, quiet, and independent but I like hanging out with people too. I like photography, gardening, and traveling, and I hope to do some of that here in Brisbane. Let me know if you think I am a suitable fit for your house!
I am moving to Brisbane from Toronto, Canada in August 2017. I am a hard working professional but am also pretty laid back. I am clean and organized and am easy to get along with. I am always up for adventure and love being social. I love being active and will spend a lot of time outdoors. Ideally looking for something mid-Late August for 6+ months but am flexible.
Hello!! I'm Eliza, I'm 21 years old. I'll pretty well say what everyone else does, but it is true. I am a super respectful and tidy person (no really, I'll do your dishes if you leave them out but I don't mind - as long as you tidy up sometimes). I'm a very sarcastic person and most of the time I'm laughing. I work full time in Indooroopilly, and I would like to be within a fifteen minute drive to work. My current 45 minute+ commute is literally driving me nuts. Pun intended. I would genuinely like to hang with my future 'roomies' - however I do like my own time as well. I'm not too much of a partier, so if it's a party household then we won't suit. However I would partake in the occasion drink of a night time with my room mates. My max budget is $250 p/w including bills. I can move in April, however that can be moved forward a little. I would like more of a long term lease as well. This will be my first time moving out but I'm very independent so there won't be any dramas. Please feel free to message me if my little novel above didn't cover anything. :)
Hi! I am a graduate nurse beginning work in South Brisbane in early February. I'm a friendly and easy going person, who enjoys relaxing with friends, having a few drinks and going to the beach. I've lived on campus at UQ for 3 years and in a share house for the past year so know how to be respectful of my housemates and tidy! Looking to team-up or find a room with air-con to use after the occasional night duty... A pool would also be ideal but not a deal-breaker! Staying with a relative until start of March so flexible with the move date.
Hi, My name is Mai and I am currently in the process of re-repatriating back to Australia from an overseas work assignment. I'm looking for short term accommodation as I will be working towards another overseas assignment. I work full time in the city Monday to Friday 0800 - 1700. However my role requires frequent travel and I enjoy travelling personally so there may be times I will not be in the country from a few days to a few weeks at a time. I like to keep a busy life between work and getting out and about. I enjoy the odd wine with dinner or after work with friends, but by no means a 'party animal'. I do enjoy the odd chat / catch up with friends and like minded people but am also conscious of other peoples space and I am very comfortable with being in my own company. The space I am looking for would be preferably; - furnished - bills shared (if not already included in the rent) - internet access - parking space (off street is fine) I consider myself 'house proud'. I'd like to ensure the home is neat, clean and comfortable. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out! Looking forward to hearing from you! Mai
I am a 23-years-old girl from Spain, who is going to study a 1.5-year Master on International Law in the University of Queensland. I believe that each person doing small things can make a difference. I am very open-minded, respectful, adaptable and clean. I am spontaneous person and prefer not to have everything planned. I love meeting new people, especially from different countries and cultures and learn from them. Travelling is my greatest passion and I love sharing my bagpacking stories. I am learning how to play the guitar and also photography and I would like to keep up with it in Australia. I have been doing various sports and dancing my whole life and since two years ago I am into yoga and I love it. I like cities because there are always many things to do and cultural events going on, but I also need sometimes to leave into a more calm place to connect with nature and especially I like going to the sea. Music lover, books eater and beggining of a writter. I am also a good cooker of Spanish food and I like to make meals with my flatmates. I would like to live not too far from the UQ in a vivid area and with more than one flatmate.
Hi I am a clean easy-going house mate, non-smoker. Like to live with housemates that I can have a chat with or a drink with. However have their own life at the same time Not looking to live in a party house. Looking for a home not just a place to sleep. I am respectful of others. Prefer to live with people who have busy active lifestyles. No couch potato's or people who sit at home 24/7. Life is for living!!!
I am about to start my Master degree in Environmental management and sustainability at the UQ. So, I am looking for a calm nice place to live not far from the University. Sometimes I have a mood to cook some sweet things as cheesecakes and carrot cakes. Also, I am from Russia and can cook some Russian food for my flatmates and me, and teach you some Russian :). I also speak Spanish cause I have already studied abroad in Spain, and have travelled pretty much, so, can tell some funny stories about my experience. I am ok with animals as well.
I'm an international student of International Business, a tennis player, an animal lover (most of them), an easy-going person who enjoys spending time with her friends, and really tidy and great person.
HEYY! Im originally from San Diego, California . Im a full time HairStylist (beauty is life) with some high goals which keeps me very busy working full time. Im shy yet extroverted...makes for an interesting mix. im not much of a cook , like at all, so dont worry about me crowding the fridge nor leaving dirty dishes everywhere! i love people yet love my space! im looking for a house that has down to earth motivated young professionals !
Am usually occupied with either work (full time in the city Mon-Fri), study (full time postgrad) or personal hobbies, so I don't have much time for drama! Having lived independently for the past 7 years, I'll come house-trained. I'm a fairly private person who respects others' privacy and would expect the same :) Looking for a place within easy commute to the city. Ideally a 2 bedroom apartment, own bathroom, and with a parking space available. Keen on bright spaces with natural lighting! Aiming to move around early March
Hi ! I'm a French student, and i'm following an exchange program at UQ during one semester. I'm very easy-going, and have already shared my flat in France. I Practice sport almost every day, and I will often visit some relatives who live in Mooloolaba.
I work in the city as a full time professional and play sport so am out of the house quite a bit. Ideally I would like a place (granny flat, studio, 1 or 2 bedroom) or a self contained room in a house. But I'm happy to share so long as I have a bit of space and privacy.
A writing student nearing the end of his poor life choice of getting a writing degree. Extraordinarily quiet for the most part, you could probably go the entire day without seeing me if you check your corners correctly. But that's most likely the result of me trying to be considerate and not cause any fuss. If you need to talk to me about anything, I'm almost definitely going to be happy to do so. I love my computer like most people love their limbs. I take him everywhere, and he is unfortunately forced to come with me everywhere even though he could almost definitely do better. I'm not sure what else to say here, honestly. Last two housemates I've had have had pretty much no bad experiences with me. You can talk to them if you really want. I mean, I won't leave their numbers here in this box, but if you want them you can totally have them. I know I have at least one of them still. I like video games sometimes. Movies are pretty cool, I guess. These are very general mediums that everyone likes, so I don't know why I'm mentioning them. Just gonna stop talking now. You have yourself a nice day. Additional comments regarding the profile picture: I'm a writer, not a photographer.
Hey, I'm Aimee-May from the UK. I've been travelling for 3 months so far and I'm looking for work and accommodation. I attended boarding school when I was 11, so I'm used to living and sharing space with others. I'm up for a chilled night in, but also a mental night out. I'm responsible and looking to meet new people.
Hi there! I'm Teagan, 23, working in international development in education systems and looking to move back into the inner city suburbs after a holiday overseas. I'm very clean and, according to previous housemates, very easy to live with. I always pay bills on time and really respect other people's space. I do love a good chat when up for it though! Would be happy to move ASAP or soon into an already established place or to start a new one. I have most furniture except a couch and some kitchenware (but would be easy enough to get). Look forward to seeing what's out there!
Positives: Very easy going guy with stable income. I'm respectful, clean up after myself and can contribute the house as a whole. I've learnt over the years that communication is key :) Cons: unusual situation. I'm looking for a yard for my two dogs that I share with my ex two weeks each month. One is a beautiful natured female Whippet x. The other, however, is a bit of a handful. He is aggressive to strangers, both humans and other dogs. So i need somewhere where he can be easily segregated. As such, I am willing to pay a little more for the inconvenience and my budget is $350/week. I work in Cannon Hill and am looking for anywhere within 20-30 minute drive. If this is something you're willing to work with me on, swing me a message :)
I'm an outgoing guy, easy going, like to try and keep fit, love food, love music, love sport, love mother nature and always down to socialise I work full-time in banking so professional guy but I know how to have fun I'm just looking for something different
Hi, I'm originally from Melbourne and moved up to Brisbane 2 years ago. I'm friendly, easy going, and reliable. I'm a bit of a foodie, enjoy reading, long walks on the beach....etc haha, hopefully you get the idea. If you think I'd be a good fit for your humble abode, I'd love to hear from you!
Hey guys! I am a 22 yo student from France and I'll be studying IT-related topics at QUT (Gardens Point) for 4 months. I have been moving to Australia alone and I really like meeting new people and places! I'm really sociable (as long as my English skills can follow, though), I also like hanging out with friends to have a beer on a terrace. I have been living in share houses for the past two years so I know how to keep my room and kitchen clean and tidy (no worries, I'm not a maniac!). I also like to cook French food (with wine, ofc). Outdoors is where I like spending most of my time, whether it be for hiking, kiteboarding or just wandering around. Especially when the weather is as nice as the one in Brisbane! Hope to seeing you guys soon!
hi all. My name is oli. Im 26 from Manchester England. I have been working and travelling Australia for a year now and I have just been sponsored so looking to find a nice place to live in brisbane and to find like minded easy going sociable housemates. I'm clean , tidy and easy going. I work out on the mines on a 2 and 1 roster. I enjoy going to the gym travelling and just having a good laugh.

Hi, I'm Kathleen, I work full-time as a marketing supervisor in Milton. I am looking for a place in the Brisbane region, not particular about areas. I like a clean and positive environment, I am not a party animal but do enjoy a sneaky glass of wine at night. I have a small dog who is house trained and stays by my side but is very friendly.
Hi there! ;) I am Grégoire form France. I have a master in Agrifood and have worked in a french frozen food manufacturing company during one year in the supply chain service. I have been living in Brisbane for 4 months now while studying english in order to improve my level and pass the ielts. I am now looking for a job (with my WHV) and a furnished accommodation. My budget is 200$ including all bills. I have a preference for an accommodation without a landlord/manager inside the house for the simple reason that I had to suffer extreme rules in my previous share house which were extremely stressfull (shower for less than 5min, 15min washing option only for my clothes, internet box arbitrary shut off at 10 pm in order to not have the least DEL turn on in the house, no fan nor aircond...) so if you have this kind of limitation or any curfew, please don't send me an offer, living in a relax and cool atmosphere is my priority number 1. I will be staying maximum until the end of July in Brisbane, however I have indicated a lenght of stay of 4 weeks because I don't want to be locked here if I don't find any job after one month. I'd like also to have the possibility to park a bike because I will probably do some deliveries in the meanwhile I obtain a full-time job. Otherwithe I am a chill person who like to share beers or BBQ with friends. I really like domestic animals. I am also clean and tidy for shares area and take a bit more freedom for my own room cause I don't really like when all is perfectly well-placed. Thanks for reading! :)
I'm Safaa, studying at UQ master's degree. Looking for private room in a female house. l'm friendly and quiet , I have a positive mind and I respect personal space. I'm busy with my studies but I want to share people.
I am friendly, easy-going and always clean up after myself! I enjoy meeting new people so I am looking to move into a house with some lovely people who share similar traits. I'm currently undertaking my PhD at UQ while working casually at Biome Eco Stores. In my spare time, I like to go to local farmers markets, drink coffee, pat dogs and chill out with friends. I'm also a vegetarian but I am happy to live with carnivores! I'm looking to move around the beginning of April but this date is negotiable :)
I'm a pretty easy going person. I'm a law graduate and work in the public service. I work full time in the city and go out most of the time when I'm not at work. I do need a car space - sorry, no on street parking. Happy to 'teamup' to get a good place. Send me a message for more info.

Very easy going, clean and tidy, good with bills! Work fulltime as a barber, and try to live a positive life by keeping active, eating well, going to the beach and catching up with my mates (: Im only interested in a household of three max thankyou.
I am friendly to enjoy a good chat but am also looking for somewhere and someone who will be respectful of privacy. I have enough furniture to furnish a house so ideally like to bring most of it with me however I was to find the perfect room I would consider. I come and go a lot cause I keep busy with church activities when I'm not working at my childcare job. I am Looking for nonsmokers and someone who will share household duties and pay rent on time
Hello! I am returning to the Brisbane as school is back in session. I am a second year midwifery student at UQ, a yoga teacher, and an avid surfer. I will also be looking for some part time employment so I'll be pretty busy! I'm clean, love to cook, and like early nights and early mornings most of the time. Would love to live with some like minded individuals. My partner will be coming up to the coast from Victoria some time after Easter so I'm either looking for somewhere that he can live too or just somewhere short-term to live until he comes :). Send me a message if you have a room or are interested in looking for a place together.
I'm 23y Finnish student, currently doing exchange semester in QUT. I'm relaxed and talkative, though I also enjoy my own time (Finnish! 🙈). I'm tidy but don't get mad if everything is not perfectly clean all the time. I love rock climbing and beach volley though I'm not good at neither. Spotting weird animals has been my new hobby in Australia. I love nature and hiking. And traveling.. but so does everyone? I'm dreaming of a shared flat with garden, hammock and a dog. And of course easy-going flatmates 😊 That being a dream, also great flatmates is perfectly enough!
I am a clean, upbeat, and quiet lady who is more than content in my room doing my own thing. I work part time and to save hard for one last Europe or America round trip. I am a very friendly person, if not shy to begin with, but once you have me as a friend I am glue and there for you through thick and thin. I come with a plus one; A little year old Calico kitten called Jenga, so pet friendly house have to be must. She is fine with dogs (except puppies for some reason) and loves people. Fully trained with adorable quirks.

We are very friendly and easy to chat with couple. We like to keep clean as we own our own apartment back home also. We are active and sporty, we go running every other evening. We are just good and trustworthy people to rent your room to..
James and I are looking for somewhere to live together and with people who enjoy a similar lifestyle. We like to stay active and are up early to get to the gym before work/uni. James works full time in advertising and marketing, I work part time in marketing and also study biomedical science full time. We like to spend our evenings reading, studying, watching documentaries (or Rick and Morty) or working on side projects. Weekends are either spent away at my beach house on North Straddie, going out for chill drinks with friends, brunching etc.... We are both very neat and tidy, like having a clean organised home to relax in at the end of the day and tend to keep our weeknights pretty quiet. We both get along well with most people we come across in life and are never opposed to sharing a wine or beer with housemates on a Friday night. Drop us a line if we sound like your kind of people :)
Hello! We just arrived in Brisbane and now looking for a place to call home the next few months! We are both from the Netherlands and what got us here?! Well, my boyfriend (Johannes) is now studying at the The University Of Queensland and I'm looking for a temporary job. We are 25 years old and no big party animals. We like to socialise and interact and go for a drink once in a while. Besides that we like to be on our own sometimes, as we all do. We like to keep communal areas clean and respect other people's spaces. So we prefer a clean and tidy place to live in. In our free time we like to travel, go to the beach, do some sightseeing, read and/or go for a drink in the city :)
Gday I'm Kathryn and work part time as a Registered Nurse at the Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital. I do shiftwork and sometimes work weekends. I'm always up for trying new things and have an easy going personality!
