I'm a career driven law grad. Lover of travel, trying new things, sports, live music, BBQs and craft beers. I'm tidy and easy-going. I'm social but I also need my privacy. I have questionable taste in television shows (my guilty pleasure is bad reality TV). Looking for a household with like minded roommates I can call friends.
I am quiet and respectful but also friendly and happy to chat :) I'm a tidy person and I love writing music (with headphones) and taking photos. I have studied creative technology and occupational health at uni and now work full time. I want to live closer to the CBD with some nice people.
Hello there, my partner and I are looking to move to any southside areas in Brisbane 6months min. We are happy to negotiate and accommodate pricing, we are looking for an average to large size room, preferably that can hold at minimum a queen bed & study desk. We are both mostly out as we love to exercise, go to events and do photography. I'm a very young 40 in looks and behaviours, Italian background. I don't party, I do like a wine or 9, love BBQ's and going to the pub on a good Afternoon. I have a small dog called Maui, she is just Awesome and very house trained, I am looking to share as I am saving for a deposit for my own property. I have been living by myself now for a few years on the Gold Coast, I have just secured a big Job in Brisbane starting in Feb, I will be commuting until my lease is up in March but can move and start paying earlier from the 6th of Feb. I work as a Corporate Events Manager in the City.
22 years old, easygoing and fun person who works full time.I'm a respectful housemate, very clean and tidy, who knows how to have a good time but also enjoys a night in. I will not live with you if you have a messy kitchen or bathroom. Independent person looking for a private room, but still wants to live in a friendly place, not just share the same roof. Looking to move as soon as possible for at least a 6 month stay :)
Have a bachelor of film, so was a film student and am still a current film lover. TV shows too. All kinds of music. Like time to myself as much as around others, I like living near the city and near the water.

I'm tidy, responsible and very quiet. I like to watch movies very much. I may study English or look for job at home around clock, beacause I'm not going to language school and, I'm an unemployed now. Moving from the Sunshine Coast back to Brisbane as I've started a 2/3yr Interior Design degree. I quit my FIFO job in September of 2016 to pursue something I've been putting off for far to long. Chasing dollars instead of happiness. I'm pretty chill to live with, sometimes I make cookies and drink whisky. I've enjoyed living with people previously and have had one long term roommate (6yrs - we're best friends). I like to go to the gym and train hard, there was nothing else to do when I worked FIFO so I focused on fitness and personal improvement. I recently returned from a fitness holiday in Thailand where I trained at Tiger Muay Thai (if you haven't heard of it, give it a google - best thing i've done this year). You'll know if I've had a bad day because I'll start cleaning, so I guess that's a win for whoever I end up with. Ideally a spot in the Valley would be sweet, but am happy with anything within a close proximity. I'm still looking for work but it shouldn't take long to pin down a part-time gig. I have savings to get me through this transition phase. Keep it real Anna.
Working professional looking for a share house. Ideally seeking somewhere where I can have my own ensuite/bathroom. If not, that's okay I will consider all options! Needing a place in the next 4-8 weeks, fairly flexible, I'm only moving out as my current awesome flatmate is having a baby! I enjoy traveling, fitness, hiking and bike riding. I train at the gym 4-5 nights a week and work full time as well as study so I'm not really home that much! I'm very quiet - I don't drink or smoke or party. No pets or children. Looking for the range of $130-$200 pw inclusive of bills would be perfect for me!
Hey im Dan, im a very out-going, fun, social and easy going guy. Most of my time is spent working, climbing and working on tower cranes on high rise construction. When im not working, i enjoy martial arts, surfing, drawing/sketching/painting, music/producing/drums, rock climbing, hiking, socialising and meeting new and different people from all walks of life. Looks like alot but im full of energy and like to keep myself busy. I am very easy going, great to get along with and alot of fun to be around. I am great to live, clean, respectful and mindful of others around me. That said i do enjoy a good few sherbets with others when the time is right. I can cook, very well, dont mind odd jobs round the house, bit of a jack of all trades to if u need something fixed 😉 haha. If there is anything else you would lime to know, shoot me a message or a text and we can go from there. Look forward to hearing from you.
I love having a few drinks with friends on weekends but also recognise the need for privacy and ⌚ out. I really enjoy trying new things and finding out about new friends. I am in the SES so storm season can mean I'm not around much, and I take time to see my parents and keep in touch with family. A geek, a nerd (my own observations), somewhat stubborn with a ♥ of gold (others observations).
I am looking for a lease for 6-12 months while i settle into studying full time. I am a conscientious housemate, respectful and tidy in common areas... I like to keep my own room tidy too! West End, and close to the city are my preferred areas.
First year university student moving to Brisbane from Far North Queensland to start studying biomedical science at UQ. Just looking for a place, preferably furnished, where I can stay until June when I m going to be moving in with my sister. I don't mind parties but tend not to host them (so don't worry about that) and I spend a lot of time locked in my room trying force myself to study. I am however a sociable person and do enjoy a good discussion and can cook a few basics (I'm still learning). I consider myself mature and responsible, and will aim to keep the place tidy. I'm fairly friendly and outgoing but respect other people's privacy. I love to read, try to keep fit (but goodness knows I lack the motivation), and enjoy a variety of activities from hiking to binge watching Netflix. I'm very open minded and would love a flatmate or two who are nice and easy going.
Myself and friend Chris are two professionals who work together. We are looking for somewhere nice, close to work as our base of operations :) Clean, tidy and responsible.
Hi! I'm from Los Angeles, California and starting a PhD at Griffith Uni. I've house shared for a long time and am pretty easy to live with- also social, clean, and respectful of space. I'm an animal lover (I foster kittens regularly) and like to cook/enjoy a glass of wine or a beer during the evenings. I like exploring new places and enjoy all things outdoors (weekend hiking is my favorite!). I'm hoping to find a place where I can become friends with the flatmates more so than just living among each other (so prefer similar age flatmates; no families). I plan to get a car in the next couple months so let me know if parking is an issue. If it seems like I'd be a good fit to your place/household, don't hesitate to contact me!
Hiya, my name is Charlotte, I am 21. I study psychology but I'm currently deferred while I work and save to travel. I'm a vegan, and a big fan of cooking for people if you wanna have a cheeky bond over some food. I do smoke, but never inside. Can promise to bring with me some cute furniture, an interesting dad record collection, and some slightly wilted but still living (just) plants. Fave hobbies include approaching other people's dogs while they're trying to have a nice breakfast without interruption, and discussing how Wham! was probably the only good pop music ever. PS: My facebook account exists but is blank as I've decided to try and distance myself from social media, and I don't have instagram. I'm not shady I promise.
About me, I am a French girl from the Caribbean. I was living in a share house of 7 international people in South Bank before my 2 month holidays in France this Christmas. I am a very tidy girl, friendly and open minded. I love cooking (and sharing it!), reading novels (SF, Fantasy, Thriller), watching movies. I like having a drink or two with my housemates. About what I am doing nowadays, I've just finished my Master at Griffith Film School in November and I have 2 short films in post-production that I need to finish. My majors are screenwriting and directing.
Full time student on the Disability Support Pension awaiting an operation to get my body back into full swing. I need air conditioning as I faint a bit from my medications, and so I can study with a fully working brain. I have bedroom furniture, a top loader laundry machine and a bar fridge for my meds and my Aromatherapy supplies as my degree is the study of Aromatherapy and the science behind it. I am passionate about my studies and create balms, lotions and perfumes often. Baby my Pussycat is very sweet, shy, and while a good rat hunter, she doesn't kill other wildlife. She is either hiding in the shade sleeping or hanging out with me, but sometimes she will get a crush on a flatmate and pay you loving attention. I am very mindful of cat hair as it makes me itchy, so I have a kick butt Dyson and I'm not afraid to use it. I don't do drugs and so don't want drugs in my home. I do love a cook up with the household and a drink to go with it. Ask if you want to know anything in particular. Thanks for looking at our blurb.
Hi! My name is Kaitlyn. I am a 20 year old Kiwi girl who has been living in Australia for over 2 years now. I work full time Monday to Friday as an administration assistant in a law firm. I am always up for adventures, drinks, beach, sports and patting dogs. I am hoping to live with people that are some-what like me so that we can get on like a house on fire. I pay bills on time and believe that I can add to the vibes of your house! Would love to hear from you soon! NO SHARE ROOMS
I am an American with a hearty laugh currently working in hospitality. My partner, Luke, is working in carpentry while he waits for uni to begin in February. We are both travelers (we met teaching English in China), enjoy hiking, love Netflix and dig making some tasty food. We are always down for a drink at the pub, the park, on the street, or just about anywhere :P
I'm a 22 yr old student who just graduated, will be doing a phD in engineering from July. I'm a very sociable person who likes going out over the weekends. I'd make sure that the house I share with others are quite and clean. :)
Hi! I have lived in my fair share of share houses so I am respectful and tidy :) I am friendly but also pretty quiet, non-smoker, and quite busy so I'm not home too often.
Hey! my name is Isobel, i'm looking to team up with people around the same age as me to move into a place early February. I'm looking for a modern 4/3/2 bedroom house/apartment around Kelvin Grove, Paddington, Alderley, Milton, Herston, Spring Hill, and Red Hill, anywhere close to the city really. I'm 19 and I study at QUT full time (Bachelors of Business and Fine Art (Interactive Visual Design) and I work part time in hospitality. I'm fun, easy going, creative, very clean and respectful. I'm quiet social and love hanging out but I understand personal space. I love watching movies/ tv and love to cook healthy meals. Send me a message if there's anything else you want to know about me! :)
Hi! I'm moving to Brisbane from Perth for an Engineering job in the CBD. I'm easy going, sociable and a tidy person. Happy to have a few drinks, group dinners and just generally hang out etc. but I'm also respectful of other people's space. I like spending my time outdoors and am keen to explore Brisbane and QLD being new to the city. Ideally would like to live with 2 or 3 other similar people (guys and girls) either to team up to find a place or a room to rent in an existing share house. Not really keen on an apartment/unit. I'm staying with a friend when I first get to Brisbane and can stay there until around the end of Feb so I'm flexible with a move in date but would rather get somewhere more permanent sooner rather than later.
Morning/afternoon everyone My name is Christopher, I am 23 year old currently working full time looking for a place to stay long term. About me - Im easy going, simple and well manned. I like to read and i sometimes like to socialize or keep to myself. If you have any question please let me know. Look forward to hear from you.
I'm currently studying my first year of Uni in Brisbane, and am looking for a place to move into ASAP! I'm extremely clean, self sufficient and friendly. I am from the South side but am in desperate need of somewhere closer to Uni, as my current situation isn't an option for much longer. In my spare time I love watching TV (Game of Thrones especially), but mostly spending time with friends.
My Fiance and I are both about to start our first year studying Law at USQ, after successful completion of our first year, we will be transferring to either QUT, Griffith or UQ. We would need a quiet nook where we can study and prefer our own bathroom- unless you're clean (i've had bad experiences with shared bathrooms- lol!) We're currently renting a house with family, however, they may be moving soon to the other side of QLD and we can't afford a place to ourselves so we're looking for expressions of interest and to sort of price out rooms in brisbane and surround areas. We're both very clean people and stick to ourselves most often, but are totally fine with socialising with household every now and then. We aren't huge drinkers, it's sort of a once in a blue moon thing for us so our noise levels won't be an issue. We're very respectful and considerate of others as we believe everyone should feel comfortable in their home! We have no age or gender preference in roommates, however, do want people who are respectful of noise levels and of people's property, as well as clean. Looking for a place with bills and internet included, doesn't have to be furnished as we have our own furniture and prefer not to sell it but will if we have to. We love animals so we don't have a problem if you have any - I have "adopted" 3 neighbourhood cats currently and they visit me for cuddles when i'm outside (so cute), also if you have a dog it'll be my best friend, love dogs. Swing us a message if interested.
Hi there! Currently relocating, in order to minimise travel times to and from work. Looking for a clean, easy-going place to call home and of course, with great people. Available to move in ASAP. Thanks, Lexie :)
42yr Old professional, very tidy and easy to get along with. Looking to move in with great positive people. Move in date will be toward the end of March. Place with Aircon preferred.
I'm a young, reliable teen looking to move to the big city. Decided for a change and where else but the big city. I'm hoping to be there by January 2017. I'm a fashion illustrator, want-to-be actor. I love animals cats or dogs. Stick to myself but once you get to know me, I believe we will be amazing friends.
I'm moving from VIC to QLD. Looking for full time work (contract here just ended). I'm quiet, easy going, mature minded and private. I like my own space, as much as I enjoy sharing a meal with the people I'm around. I cook, I clean, I sing and I get along with most people :) I do have 2 kids who are currently schooling with their dad and will be staying with me every second weekend. Please keep that in mind before contacting me. They're 8 and 10, well behaved and considerate.
Hi Jim. I'm studying full-time at QUT to become paramedic. I also work part-time or full-time as bartender depending on the season. Both are interesting but you get absolutely no sleep. I'm a friendly guy who likes to chat and drink with others; but when I'm home I prefer some privacy and quiet in my room to wind down (no party houses). Looking for a place close to work with easy access to public transport to the QUT campuses or city. I also have a car that I use for work , so off-street parking would be a bonus but not necessary if public transport is easily accessible. During my downtime at home I prefer reading, binge watching TV series, video gaming (headphones at night), or trying out cocktail recipes from the bar.
We have a small puppy who loves cuddles. We both work and study full time so we wouldn't be around too much. Ideally we are looking for a granny flat but we are open to sharing with another couple or single. I study design and my partner studies media comms. We are friendly, clean and like a few drinks on the weekend.
Im a peruvian abroad studying a masters in marketing at Griffith University. Also have a part time job mostly on weekends so im barely home. I love a house that is tidy and clean and were my flatmates are easy going. I love animals so I would be more than happy to have them hanging with me. Love to run and every once have a glass of wine.
We come from France. I'm Léa and I begin a paid internship at the end of the month for 6 months. I will be in charge of the organisation of a French Festival. My boyfriend Arthur is looking for a job. In France, Arthur is salesperson. After 6 years working in the company, he stops his job to come with me in Australia. We have together a Working Holiday Visa for 7 months. We will leave Australia at the end of August. We just want to discover people and share different cultures. Moreover, Arthur is a very good cooker ;)
Medical intern starting work in February. I am originally from Mauritius but have been in NSW for the past 6 years. Very easy-going and always happy to meet new people. I am currently looking for a 6 month lease since I'll be doing my rural terms in the second half of the year.
Hello there, I am a French postgraduate student beginning my master at UQ this year. Last year I studied in Sydney and worked part-time in hospitality. Back in Sydney I used to share my flat with 5/6 roommates and truly enjoyed it, but today I am looking for a private room in a shared flat with fewer people, allowing me to focus more on my studies. I am a respectful, clean and outgoing person. If you are interested in sharing a flat with me, do not hesitate to contact me.
I am currently studying Sustainable Agriculture in Germany. This February I will start my semester abroad at the QUT. I am looking forward to get to know Brisbane and its people. I am tidy and reliable. Of course i respect your privacy but i don't mind to have a drink with you. I am keen to meet you.
I'm easygoing, clean and tidy, I respect personal space but I'm down for a chat or movie night or dinner with housemates if they're keen too. I don't smoke or drink. I'm a graphic designer. I enjoy the outdoors including mountain biking, snorkelling and bushwalking. In my down time I enjoy reading, playing guitar, or movie nights.
I am currently renting in Newmarket. I'm in the downstairs of a large Queenslander that was set up as a b&b and the other flatmate is an elderly man who is working and very easy to get along with. However, I would love to get into accommodation with younger and more vibrant people. I gym regularly, I have been in marketing and now moving into finance management at Natureworks - the No Poo Zoo out in Highvale in the jungle!! I use to spend every weekend working on my acreage in Samford. Now that I'm in the city I'm looking for people to hang out with on weekends and do anything social. NOT BINGO :) I have my own rockclimbing shoes; harness, I road cycle with the City Lifecycle, my boyfriend takes me jet skiing occasionally, however would be great to have people around me who are energetic, enthusiastic and adventurous to add to my life. Doing things that don't necessarily take a lot of $$ is great. I want to buy a house in inner city, but that's proving a challenge in this current market. I have 3 daughters all finished uni and living in city - doing their own thing. I do love to have the occasional dinner party with them. They are all bright, friendly and balanced. 2 with steady boyfriends, one on the prowl again :) I have Hungarian blood in me - so in the past I have loved to party but I am mellowing a little there and looking after my health more. I have a cousin from Hungary and his son coming to visit me for 3 weeks in February which I am excited about. I am very health conscious and would rather cook than buy takeaway. I'm very clean and neat and always happy to help if someone's doing it tough. I love to travel, however have to save for the next trip after 3 holidays last year - skiing, Barossa and a cruise. I do have my own friends who I see socially occasionally however they are all busy with their own families and usually not available to hang out with on weekends etc. I love celebrating family, Christmas, birthdays and just loving life.
Mature, grounded and well traveled, prone to spurts of raucous laughter as I don't take myself or life so seriously. Recently moved to Brisbane from Europe, am looking for an easy going, chilled environment. I will be away on some weekends so am not invasive. If you need a pet fish to be taken care of, I'm responsible in that way. I would prefer something near the 199 bus line into the CBD.
Hello! im a fun loving fit nerdy type, happy to hangout and chat with drinks etc but i also tend to keep to myself and respect your space. Love to cook and bake the odd dessert like cheesecakes and cinnamon scrolls! neat and tidy, always clean up after myself. I bring with me a a 4k TV which im happy to keep in the lounge if that sweetens the deal! feel free to hit me up for a chat and see if we mesh. :) Need to be out By March 12th but can be out as soon as the start of February
Both myself & my partner work away so rarely home. Both have full time jobs not orginally from Brisbane so have only a few people we know in the area. No early bird access unfortunately. We are both exertemly clean & would like to have our own bathroom. Off street parking is a must also would like room to store belongings would even pay for an extra room to utilise as storage. We are looking for at least a 6 month stay. We both enjoy socialising but also really enjoy our down time. We do not mind animals just not in the house. I work near the city so within 25km of the city would be ideal in any direction as long as it close to a train statiin. We both enjoy to be active & eat well. Have been together for over 13years, we just sold our house & are looking to save some cash before we invest again. We would love a 2brm, 2bath with parking close the city with the amenities. Need to be out by the 14th Feb so please feel free to contact.
I'm a Colombian student and part time employee. I'm relaxed, enjoy a good chat, movie and wine but appreciate solo time. Shared areas should be tidy and nice, being considerate to others is important while sharing space. Must be very close to regular public transport or train station, as I have to move around a lot from work to uni and home in a day. $185 including bills.
NEED A FURNISHED ROOM. I'm a full time employee in a great role that gives me a lot of freedom. I can cook and do most nights, I'm very very tidy, organised and clean, and I keep to myself (but love a beverage or two with my housemates from time to time). I'm new to Queensland, I moved to the Gold Coast 3 months ago for this job, and have now been promoted, meaning I have to move up to the Bayside/Eastern areas of Brisbane!
I'm a 22 year old student at QUT, and I work part time in a call centre in Spring Hill. In my spare time, you'll find me listening to music, reading, out with friends, keeping active and watching movies. I'm a quiet, considerate, clean and friendly person who doesn't mind a good chat with his housemates but respects the space that people need. I am reliable in regards to paying rent/bills as I utilise direct debt to ensure everything is on time. My move date is flexible if needed.
My Names Jess, I am originally from South Africa. I moved to the UK back in 2006 and have lived there ever since. Sadly I have never felt at home in England and feel it's time to spread my wings (cheesy I know) and explore more of the world. I am easy as pie to get along with and very respectful of other people and their things when it comes to living with someone. I am very neat and tidy ( apart from the odd t-shirt or dress I may forget to fold up or hang on a hanger ) :) I clean up after myself and may have slight OCD when it comes to keeping the bathroom and kitchen tidy, so you will find I will hardly ever make a mess. I do not smoke and drink very rarely. I am not a loud and noisy person so you'll be sure to get a good nights sleep. I feel like I am blabbing on a bit now. Umm.. what do I do? I am currently a manager in a restaurant where I have been for the past 5 years which I am sadly leaving to move to Australia for the year. Will hopefully be looking for a job similar to this. What do I do for fun? I enjoy going to the gym, walks on the beach ( this is starting to sound like a dating profile! haha ) I enjoy watching netflix with a take away, the occasional night out for a good dance/boogie and just exploring places and doing outdoor activities. I am hoping to make friends along the way of living and working in Australia. Thank you for reading my profile :)
Hey guys, I'm Bangin, 24, student from Berlin, Germany, here in Brisbane for an 8-week internship by the beginning of March. I've seen many corners from Europe and would love to share my stories and hear yours! I'm very easy going and love to meet new and interesting people. Within the week, I'll be working in a hospital, in the evening and weekends, I'd like to discover Brisbane's and Australia's beauty - maybe you'd like to team up?
Hi I've been travelling around Africa for the past 2 months on holiday. My lease ended just before I left so perfect opportunity to take a long holiday. I'm originally from the UK but have lived in Australia the past 20 years. I am a musculoskeletal therapist and run my own business, I have a clinic in Milton. I am away most weekends. I am clean and tidy and considerate of others needs. Please let me know if you have any questions and a time suitable to view your apartment. Kind regards Gary
