Hey potential roomies, I'm Dani and I'm on the hunt to find a place to rent as my current lease ends May this year Little bit about me • Have lived out of home and on my own for nearly a year now so you could say that I have this adulting thing down pat (almost) • Am a very friendly, open minded and easy-going person • Currently working part time in a chemist and studying on the job • Health conscious and working towards a healthier lifestyle • As much as I enjoy socialising, I am a hermit at heart and love my alone time • Avid Netflix watcher and closet nerd (Star Wars fan and Walking Dead obsessed) My ideal place • Has a relaxed and comfortable yet fun vibe • Is close to public transport (as I don't own a vehicle) • Is not far from the city (hello, city adventures and nights out) • Is kept clean and organised and is aesthetically pleasing Also - I have a wifi modem so am happy to split the bill for you to use it too for endless browsing and Netflix watching fun Would love to move in with likeminded people (preferably female/s) where we can hang out as a crew or come and go as we please as we'll be sharing a living space so it's important to me that we get along and respect each other. Looking forward to hearing from you ✌🏼
I am a laid back, very clean and tidy, fun loving and busy professional who enjoys downtime as well as being active and social. I am very courteous and am looking for people to live with who might like to do things together but also have their own lives and interests. I would also prefer to not live with couples, have my own bathroom and have a furnished property but am definitely open to otherwise if the property and people seem a good fit. As I will be overseas until mid February, I am not looking for anywhere prior to the beginning to mid-March. So I also apologise in advance for delays in my reply. Thanks! And happy searching!

Hey there! I recently landed in Brisbane. I'm an international student and i'll be starting my masters degree programme at UQ, Herston so i'm generally looking for a place close by that's not too tiny. Once i settle in and my programme starts i intend to take on a part-time job for a little extra. I'm very open-minded, sociable and generally can get along with just about everybody. Sometimes when i get socially awkward i start to talk and then i just don't stop so you just gotta give me the look and i'll understand (haha). I don't smoke. I'm very considerate and deeply respectful of fellow housemates and particular about cleanliness and hygiene. I love learning about new cultures and languages! Cheers! :)

I just got to Brisbane from Brazil. I'll be starting a masters a QUT. I am looking for a single bedroom (ensuite bathroom) to move in during the first week of march, when I'll be leaving the place I am right now. I expect to find a place where I can have some privacy to study, but also enjoy some time with friends occasionally.
Hi, I'm Emily :-) I am a young professional looking for accommodation near my work in Bulimba. SOUTH SIDE ONLY (I hate tolls and traffic - but don't we all??) I work full time and attend evening classes at uni so I am rather busy. I am in my final year at uni studying Business majoring in Advertising and Marketing and need a housemate who is respectful and mindful of my commitments and will not be excessively noisy or often have parties. I have most weekends off as I also work casually at Bunnings on Saturdays. On the weekends I do have off, if I'm not studying, I love to draw, paint, bake and get out and about and explore Brisbane :-) I don't have any pets but would love to get a dog if cicumstances allowed! Although I love pets, I am allergic to cats and would not be able to live with one. I am in a relationship and I would like for my boyfriend to stay some nights. I would also be spending some nights at his. I am very flexible with move in dates as I am currently living with family. It is essential that my bedroom has air conditioning as I have a health condition that is aggravated by heat. I am very respectful of other people's possessions and space and like to keep my space clean and tidy. Furnished or unfurnished doesn't bother me as I have furniture but can leave it with family.
Hey there I am a 27 year old from England and very new to Brisbane!.. I am currently working full time Monday / Friday but would like house mates who like to socialise and do fun things on the weekend. I am courteous of the people around me and respect people's own space!.. I am looking for a private furnished room with a budget between $150-200pw I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I'm Ned. I'm looking for an apartment near Eagle St in the CBD and I need to move by March 4th. I need a car space and air conditioning but beyond that my only preference is being close to Eagle St. I work full-time as a professional, I am quite a tidy person and like to live in a clean house.
Looking for a new place that better suits me. I'm a full time professional. Am social, easy going, accustomed to share housing. I'm clean and quiet (as a housemate), super easy to live with. I like to head out on weekends, get to the coast as often, and am an active person, mostly during the week. Would like flatmates that I can call friends as well :) Move date is flexible.
I am an honest and reliable person looking for somewhere relatively close to Soutbank where i am currently working. I respect others space but will always be up for a chat and always clean up after myself.
19, both studying and working in event and hotel management. I'm a very social, clean and friendly gal who can pretty much spin a yarn with every man and his dog. I love a good feed of Thai and enjoy keeping fit and busy. I'm very easy going and am looking to live with people aged 18-22 who enjoy the occasional/extremely regular wine and cheese on the deck. That said, I am not a huge party goer but will definitely not be locked in my room 24/7. Swing me a message if you're interested. ps i'll live pretty much anywhere as long as its somewhat central to st lucia and wavell heights
Hi my name is Lisa! I recently just graduated from uni and i'm working Full-time as a Community Manager at a Marketing company in Brisbane CBD. I am looking for a flatmate who is like minded like myself. I am very easy going, friendly and I enjoy a bit of a chat now and then. I enjoy keeping fit by playing tennis, cooking and having a social glass of wine with friends. I am great to live with because I am an organised, clean and a respectable person who gets along with most people. I am however allergic to cats so I can't move in with any. Feel free to send me a message :-)
I am currently working Full time Wednesday through to Sunday. I tend to go out at night during the week, no intentions of having many people over just my girlfriend a few times a week. I currently have a pet rat but I am looking to re home her, so could just be temporary. Tend to keep to myself.
I am a barista and photographer/graphic designer. I usually leave home about 5-6am and come home about 12-1pm. When I am home I spend some time with my computer (I work at home sometimes) and reading/watching. I love cycling and I have two bikes. One of them will sleep with me in my room if there's a space. Other one can be in the garden or garage. I try not to stay home and ride whenever I can. Also I have a car which I never drive. I need to park though. Cheers
2 friends. One doing her Masters in Psych and working part time. One recently graduated from law and doing her PLT and working full time. Very social, fun and friendly :) Both love exercise, socialising and wine :) One beautiful dog.
24 year old female, professional, works in HR monday to friday, very clean. Looking for a female roommate/roommates that have a similar lifestyle, work but like to have some friends over on weekends or a cheeky wine after work!
I am 24 years old, right now I am studing English in Brisbane, I am from Colombia and I am looking for a private room close to the city downtown... My budget is between 150 and 200 per week. As for myself i am an Early bird, very responsible and looking for a quiet and nice place, i want to practice my English so it would be great if someone who speaks English is living in there.
Hello potential flatmates! I am single, no kids, no partner, no pets, no smoking, no drugs. Looking to make some new friends and meet some new interesting people. I am currently studying at Aviation Australia to become an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer after being with EB Games the last 14 years. I have just started a new job at Brisbane Airport. I am getting pretty lonely living on my own and keeping to myself! I have spent the last few years on this path and I really want to live with a group of people who are into gaming. Any kind of gaming: console/PC, board, Pen and paper roleplaying etc.. its all good. I lived in Toowoomba from 2001 until I moved to Brisbane in 2015 for greater opportunities and to chase my dream of getting into the aviation industry. I am extremely open minded and accepting of all walks of life. I love cleanliness and am neat myself. Love a good chat and a wind down at the end of the day, and I am no cook, but I love to cook, (especially desserts) if that makes any sense!! :) Not allergic to pets and I love to have them around! Look forward to finding some new friends and share some life stories with! :)
Hey, Im looking to move in with some housemates who are keen to hang out but understand space, I try to keep clean and might be out a lot as I'm a full time undergrad zoology student at uq who has a bar job. I'm into hiking, grabing coffee and binge watching TV
Hi, I'm Alisa, a 22 year old architecture student from Munich. I'm going to do my 3rd year at UQ. I'm still looking for a long term accommodation (approximately 10 month). I'm an interactive and friendly girl that can get along with other housemates but is also respectful of other mates space. I'm always up for a drink and a chat but can also keep to myself when I work full time for uni. Having a peaceful, "no unnecessary drama" lifestyle looking for easy going like flatmates, who like to hang out, watch some movies, cook dinner together sometimes and relax. Would be really glad about hearing from you ! Cheers - Alisa

27 year old female, non-smoker, easy to get along with. Not too fussed on the location just need somewhere close to public transport and not too far from the city. I am quite the introvert but don't mind hanging out for a drink, movie, or board game. While I love to cook and am open to sharing meals, I eat a strict vegan, gluten free diet and have always lived with carnivores so have never really had the opportunity to do this. Looking to live with clean housemates, preferably guys but would consider living with one girl. And am in need of a decent sized unfurnished room, preferably long term but minimum 6 months.

Fairly new to Brisbane, I am currently studying at University and working part time. Pretty relaxed person, occasionally have a drink or two. Very hygienic and i keep everything tidy. Hopefully I won't just be a housemate, but a friend too :)
I’m a med PhD/ neuroscientist recently back from the states for a sabbatical. I’m House trained & clean but not at all anal. I read a lot though I'm not a homebody, I work normal hours in an incubator space. I love to hang out, cook, philosophize over a drink and have a bit of fun preferably with, empathic, humble, self-aware, progressive, respectful people. I’m pretty chill and easy going but passionate and engaged with the world. I’m a scientist but still very much a people person and like to think I’m more thoughtful than reactive. I’m a feminist dude and proud of it, though it’s not about telling people they’re wrong in their views so much as demonstrating with kindness and empathy that other views exist. I’m big on being positive and being able to talk to anyone no matter what their perspective. That said, Socratic method only goes so far in a group house, if you don’t know who Donald Trump is or think he's a good thing, I'm just not the one for you. If I’m what you’re looking for, give me a yell, it'd be cool to hear more about you guys and see the place.
I am a yoga teacher, looking for a quiet and easy going household to stay with. Not a party animal but definitely enjoy mingling with others. I am also looking for any place within the 2 zone of the Brisbane CBD. My ideal place would have a fully furnished room & covered or off-street parking if possible.
I'm a 28yo female looking for a room to rent around the New Farm, Teneriffe, New Stead, Brisbane area. I'm a professional in the finance area and have just relocated from Melbourne to Brisbane. I work Monday to Friday as well as going to the gym most days. I'm very neat and tidy and clean up after myself. I'm pretty easy going, love being social and active, whilst also enjoying some quiet time.
Hi there, I'm Alison, I currently am a full time psychology student at UQ and work part time as a nanny. I am looking for a clean, respectful and friendly share house to live in. When I'm not studying or working I am fairly social and would love to sit down for a meal, binge watch a tv show or just have a chat. I am fairly flexible with where I live (work on north side but go to uni on the south side) and with move in dates (although the sooner the better). I hope to here from you!
I'm from China, a PhD student at QUT, studying digital media. I love cooking and hiking and playing table tennis and badminton. I have a car so it would be perfect if there is an undercover carpark. I'm quite easy-going and quiet and respectful. Meanwhile, I love to cook and share my food. Hope we can be good friends, not just the one with whom you share a house
We are a couple esay-going who loves cooking, drink a cup of wine, don't like parties at home and we respect others cultures/religions. We are studying a business course and working so we won't be a lot of time in house... Only some afternoons, for dinner, breakfast and sleep every day 😃. We love meet other people but also respect their privacy. If you are interested in have 2 flatmates like us, send us a message and we would be happy to agree a visit! Cheers!!
Hey guys, I just came to Australia and will be starting my PhD at the QUT in March. I'm searching for a private room in a shared flat. I've lived in shared flats for the last seven years, never had any problems with my flatmates and prefer it to living alone. I'm originally from Germany. I suppose that I'll be working a lot and therefore most days I will only be at the flat at the evening. However, I would prefer a shared flat that is not only living together to pay less rent, but spends some time with each other, for example cooking together or just chatting maybe sharing a red wine 😉 from time to time. I am a vegetarian though so cooking together can be tricky sometimes. I just arrived in Brisbane and therefore didn‘t start any pastime activities again, but I would like to sing in a choir again. I also enjoy video games, TV series, dancing, music, theatre and art sometimes (although I'm absolutely clueless). So in conclusion I would like a flat were everyone has their personal space, but people still pass some time together. If you've read this far, I'm hoping to hear from you soon. 😊
I am studying Information Technology full time at UQ. I am incredibly clean and enjoy cooking or sharing a drink. Ideally I would like to share with one other person and have my own bathroom.
Hey guys! I am a 22 yo student from France and I'll be studying IT-related topics at QUT (Gardens Point) for 4 months. I have been moving to Australia alone and I really like meeting new people and places! I'm really sociable (as long as my English skills can follow, though), I also like hanging out with friends to have a beer on a terrace. I know how to cook French food (with wine, ofc), I like to keep my room and kitchen clean and tidy (no worries, I'm not a maniac!). Outdoors is where I like spending most of my time, whether it be for hiking, kiteboarding or just wandering around. Especially when the weather is as nice as the one in Brisbane! Hope to seeing you guys soon!
I am clean and tidy and respectful of other housemates. I don't do drugs and I am not a party person. I don't mind socialising but I also enjoy my own time. I play sport so it will take up most of my time. I am good with animals but I am allergic to cats. Please DONT contact me if its a share room with other people I won't respond. I like my privacy.
I just moved to Brisbane to continue my studies of acupuncture. Originally from Germany I have been traveling quite a bit until I found that Brisbane is a great place to stay :-) When it comes to living I love to have a good chat, share a glass of wine and I would also often stay by myself in order to study. I like a healthy living, yoga, outdoor sports and great food. I could easily live with people of any age and gender, preferably a small flatshare of 2 or 3. I can be pretty flexible with many things, just for the room I appreciate a rather decent size and lots of natural light. I do love pets - if you have a dog, I'd feel home right away. Well, Hamilton would be my absolute favorite. I'd love to be close to the river. If you feel this is a match, please get in touch!
Hey people, I'm going to spend the next Semester at the UQ. I am 23, studying math in Munich and I am more or less done with my Masters. Therefore I'm just going to take some courses in which I'm interested in and continue to write on my thesis. I guess I am a comfortable person to live with - until now I just had great experiences with sharing a flat. I lived together with brazilians, germans, polish, americans, italians and portuguese. And with all of them it was a lot of fun! I would describe myself as open minded and interested in nearly everything. I love to do sports, talk to people, going out just for a coffee or a beer, etc. I've never been to Australia before but I studied for two Semesters already in Portugal and for one in the UK. Afterwards I worked in Washington D.C. for a professional soccer/football club. As you can see I just love new experiences and meeting people from all around the world. One of the reasons why I chose now to go to the other side of the world. ;) Richard
Professional from Perth, new job in Brisbane in film & television. Looking for a lovely place with great company! Love to be social, and love a chat and a wine, but also have to read lots of material on my down-time so I'm also able to be quiet :) Cheers!
Quite, tidy, good to chat, like to cook, respectful and now you're to have a good time. I recently completed a nursing degree and I'm working at RBWH so I'm looking for accommodation closer to the hospital. I'm thinking I'll just settle in and find my own place soon but I'm open to sharing for a while if we get along.
Hey! I'm looking to live with one other girl around my age who is clean, tidy, fun and easy going. Requires someone that works fulltime and is reliable with rent and bills. I work fulltime in the City as a Client Services Coordinator. I love to have a few drinks, go out, laugh and meet new people. I'm always up for having fun and hanging out although I do like to chill and relax on weeknights and am very respectful of personal space! I have all my own furniture (washing machine, fridge freezer, coffee table, outdoor setting and kitchen stuff). Currently residing in Fortitude Valley and would love to stay in this area. Please send me a message if this sounds like what you're looking for or if you'd be up for grabbing a beer! Cheers
