Hi, I am Thilina , an IT professional who is moving to Melbourne on 5th Feb with my family. I have three kids and they are at the age of nine(boy), three(boy) and 6months(girl) Both short and long term preferred.
Hey potential future flatmate(s)! I’m a 21 year old Swede and I study Communication Design full-time at Billy Blue College of Design. I’m also most likely going to start looking for a part-time job just to get some extra money in addition to my income from Sweden. When I'm not studying I enjoy hanging out with friends, eating good food or just staying in watching Netflix. I'm really into art and design so all the exhibitions Melbourne has to offer is like heaven for me! On the weekends I like to go out for drinks or a couple of beers but won't bring the party home if it's not appropriate. I’d love to get to know my flatmate(s), hang out, explore Melbourne, maybe even go on a roadtrip/hike/whatever, but if that's not your thing I'm fine with that too! I used to rent a room in a flatshare in South Melbourne that I loved but now I've been in Sweden for one and a half months and I need to find a new place to call home! Preferably in Fitzroy, Richmond, South Yarra, St Kilda, Prahran and surrounding suburbs. I absolutely love living with others but sometimes I need my privacy for studies so therefore I'm only looking for a private room. I need good tram/train/bus connections if it’s in a suburb further away and I'd prefer a furnished room as I don't really own anything except for an $9 work lamp from IKEA. But it's not necessary if it's the right place. I'm allergic to pets so I don't want any furry things around me (It's okay if you're a hairy human). Do I sound like your new flatmate?! Hit me up!
Moving from Townsville to study at Monash- Caulfield (and get away from the heat!). Not a neat-freak, but prefer to keep areas tidy. I'm pretty laid back and always up for an adventure :) I will mostly likely be busy during the week between uni and work but keen to explore the city and surrounds on weekends and in my spare time. Love all animals, coffee, the ocean and a bit of banter. Keen to make new friends and love to catch up over wine after a long week. Feel free to drop a message if I sound like the right addition to your home :)
We have both been travelling for the past few months and are settling in Melbourne for 4-5 months to work/study. We are tidy, chilled out people who are looking to explore the city of Melbourne while we work and study. We both come from Scotland and enjoy playing sports, drinking good coffee, travel blogging/vlogging and wine.
Non smoker who doesn't mind a glass of red or two. Very neat and tidy. Love to cook when I have the time. Work long hours Tuesday to Friday and not home most weekends but thankfully I love my job so it's all ok. I have a warped sense of humour, crack myself up! I love travel, sport (motor sport predominately) and dogs and pretty much get along with anyone.
Looking for a room preferably in a 2 room apartment... I'm very easy to get along with and try to avoid conflict at all times. I like to keep fit during the week and do a bit of interstate travelling for work. I can quite easily keep to myself and socialise with who I'm living with when appropriate. Looking for like minded people that are settled and not looking to party every night
Hi there. I am looking to move in to Melbourne by end of January 2017 for my masters at RMIT city campus. I am 28 yrs old male. I'm looking for a separate peacefull room in a sharing apartment. I will be working part time. Preferably close to a station.
Hi! I'm a 22-year-old student from Finland but I live and study Food & Nutrition in Uppsala, Sweden. I'm coming to Melbourne to do an exchange semester at Deakin university. I love: to cook, dance, travel, read, Netflix&chill and run. I'm tidy (but not too tidy), I'm social but love to be by myself every once in a while. And I love dogs! Love, Emma
I am 26 years old, moved from Perth to discover a new city and experience a new life. Pretty sporty (love running, riding and swimming). I did a few triathlons in Perth and hopefully looking forward to starting that up again in melbourne. I work full-time in the city, the usual 9-5 hours, so I follow a pretty predictable routine. I have lived in sharehouses throughout my undergrad at uni so I would like to say that I am pretty confident about my flatmating abilities. I am social and love spending time with family and friends, but at the same time, love to spend 'me time' walking, reading, cooking and watching TV shows. I respect others and I would like the same respect to be reciprocated.
Looking to share a house with people around my age who are social and laid-back whilst still tidy, respectable and understand the importance of privacy, or as I like to call it; 'me time'. Outside of 'me time' I'd love to form friendships within the house where I can comfortably hold a conversation, share a drink (whether it be tea or a few beers) and binge out to Netflix. I'd also love a gym buddy who can seriously motivate me! I work part-time and will be studying a double degree at ACU as off late Feb. Please don't hesitate to shoot me a message if you think we'd be good housemates as I'd love to be moved and settled in before uni begins :) - I also just want to clear up that I may want to bring friends over from time to time but can assure you they will be on their best behavior! -
Hi my name is Nicole and I'm 25. I'm a recent Textile Design graduate who just got a full time job in Dandenong. I'm very active, love fitness and the outdoors. Love to explore, travel, and socialise with friends (whether that be out for drinks or movie nights in). Nicole :)

I work in an office full time and go to the gym 4-5 times a week or go for a run along the beach. I like to get out and about at the weekend and enjoy meeting new people. I I usually chill out in my room on the evenings as I like my own space, but happy to chat but respect others privacy also. I don't mind who I live with - age, race, sexuality - the more interesting the better!

Hi! I am Akashneel Maiti, a full time international student from India, joining Monash University Caulfield campus for Master of Networks and Security in February. I am 23 years old and prefer people of the same age group. I think of myself as a calm and sociable person who respects others' private space. I do occasionally enjoy drinks and bbq in weekends. My budget is around 180$ pw and my length of stay is flexible. I am also open up to the idea of grouping up with some nice people and renting a whole apartment. I will be reaching Melbourne on 9th feb, so will like a place available from around this date. Thanks :)
I have an upright piano that comes with me. A hammock and stand to put on the verandah and I enjoy cheese, food, wine and good company. I like to experience life and make the most of every chance I get. I'm studying electrical engineering and working as a relief teacher. I can pay the bills (which is important... I once had a flatmate that could not... absolute disaster). I like animals, almost decided to be a vet (till I went on work experience). Not a big partier, but I do appreciate being around people. Would prefer not being strangers with my housemates and I'm looking for a place where I fit and is home. I spend my downtime travelling, camping and hiking with friends. I like to bake (didn't realize how much until I went on exchange to Vietnam where they have no ovens). Have just arrived back from Vietnam and need a place before end of feb. Would also really prefer an unfurnished bedroom :) Deal breakers: pot smokers, drugs and alcoholics. Probable deal breaker: smoking. Cheers Catherine

Looking for a place inner South/South East by the 28th of January (or as close too). Look forwards to hearing from you! Snippet : Young male professional looking to move to a location in the inner-south/south-east of Melbourne to be closer to work (Brighton), in an unfurnished room from early January. Hey there, so you are probably wondering what makes me great to live with. Well, thankfully, there is an obligatory section for such a response! I am an energetic and active person, who likes to exercise and get out socially. I am respectful and clean housemate who has been sharing accommodation for the last 5 years in Melbourne, and enjoy sharing my hobbies and experiences, whist appreciating the need for space and downtime. During the week, I am a busy professional (Secondary Teacher) and spend my evenings training for upcoming triathlons and seeing friends. The weekend is much the same, although I do like to go bush-walking and travel around. Hobbies and interests include, music (playing guitar), seeing theater and gigs, watching footy/cricket, I also spend time reading and writing. I am looking for a place until mid 2017 (min 6 months) with the potential for longer pending my work. I would prefer a room with some sun, and a house with modern appliances (I do like to cook ) and a location near to some cafes/shops. I also have a car - so would need a place to park. My ideal housemate(s) would be 25-35, male or female, work full time, have some hobbies and interests to share, enjoy socialising on occasion - and in general just enjoy life and having a good time. If you think this fits you, or vice versa let me know.

26 DOB 19/04/1990 Looking to move Late April 2017. I grew up in Perth WA (WaitAwait) Australia Have friends in Melbs already. But looking for a cheap start to my integration to the city. I have recently returned from a three month holiday in the US, visiting old college mates from my time spent studying a business bachelor and playing college baseball (2008-2012.) The holiday was the trip I needed for inspiration to begin a new path in life at 26. I am a very grounded individual, perhaps with no spectacular specific skills but I believe I posses an attitude and vibe that can integrate into any environment. I am currently open minded to all offers who wish to discuss their home sharing situation and see if are able to live together. I still play baseball but at an amateur level and less competitively and may take a year off while i settle into Melbourne and work on my knew passion, Music production and writing music. ( I can do my work with head phone when required :) haha) I also have a currently 7 Month old Husky (MegMac) she will be just 1 YO by the time i am ready to move into melbs. She is extremely placid and well trained as an out side dog from her birth. She is still a shy puppy so I'm guessing she will be a little shy to start with a move to big city. Kind regards Adam, Adam, Adz, G333, the list goes on
I'm easy to get along with. I'm outgoing, friendly , polite, respectful and considerate. They're no big deal because that should be your minimum requirement of me. I work full time at The Department of Transport. My passion is theatre and have been an actor for 40+ years so my free time is usually taken up with this. I like people and being around them, but I'm also respectful of their privacy and the need to give space when required. I'm originally from UK but have lived here for 26 years. I've recently separated from my partner, hence my search.
I'm 23yo and from Scotland and I have just arrived here on a working holiday visa. Looking for a room (ideally my own but open to shared rooms) to rent that is comfortable and affordable! I'm friendly, easy-going and like to keep things clean and tidy. I like socialising, going for a drink or to the beach, exercising or just chilling out! Will be working full-time and looking to move into a room anytime after the 25th of January. Looking to stay for a few months before moving on to travel for a while :)

I am starting full time work as a judge's associate in early February 2017. I like travel, cooking (still learning), cycling, reading and boardgames - especially with a cold beer. Work keeps me pretty busy, but I'm always up for a chat and doing things. My budget is approximately $200 per week plus bills. While I currently live at home, I am house trained having lived in a share house while on exchange in the UK. I'm looking to join a social and friendly household that appreciates the fact that life is (unfortunately) not just a party.
Hi, my name is Esther and i'm a 22 year old female starting work as a registered nurse at Caulfield Hospital. I'm a pretty friendly person and enjoy spending time with friends at bars, beaches, and hiking trails, though i don't get to do these things as often as i would like. I really enjoy baking, painting, sketching and music, am generally a tidy person, and very respectful of others' space and needs (especially those studying), but am always up for a good chat or night out. Looking for a social place to live, not just a room to rent. Thanks, Esther
Really easy going guy who likes quiet nights during the week but my arm is twisted pretty easily of a weekend. Especially on a Friday night after work or Saturday/Sunday afternoon. If I do go out I never bring the party home. Quite tidy around the house, am sports mad and love to travel. Usually try and spend 6-8 weeks in Europe mid year. Cheers!
Hey Team, I'm living the search to find a place to call home, recently coming back to Melbourne from working out on the big white Mountain of Mt Hotham. I'm 20 years old. Currently training to be Bar manager in St Kilda, love humans and creating good Memories. I also enjoy down time, I feel we all need a little rest time to time. I have a car so location location is not an issue, very relaxed individual, trained to be tidy (on ya Mum) If I branch out to you or you somehow stumble across my profile, don't be shy to say Hi, I'm from WA so we believe everyone's our mate. Literally. If you made it this far down, Thank you for reading. Dan
Helloo, We are a young couple moving from a small beach town near Byron Bay to Melbourne in February. We have just had a year off doing full time work, and travelling Europe together for 4 months. We are laid back, friendly, independent and clean. We love cooking for ourselves and others, having a drink, relaxing with some nice tunes, and taking our 2 year old Boxer dog out. We both have artistic hobbies, that usually take up a lot of our free time, but we also love gathering with friends and having a fun night out (or in). Zeus is our 2 year old Boxer Dog. We absolutely love him and couldn't imagine living without him. He is well trained, loving, and extremely entertaining. Zeus will need a yard, although we are not all that worried on the size, as we take him out everyday. We will be super excited to hear from anyone who is also looking for a pet friendly abode. Our budget is around $350 for the 2 of us.
Hi, I'm moving to Melbourne to work and study. I am an international student from Hong Kong looking for a place to stay and share. I have experience with sharing flats and can provide references. I'm easy going, outgoing and calm my goal is to study hard this year. As a flatmate, I am tidy and respectful. Love travel and music. Flexible about move in date.
Looking for some awesome people to live with in an apartment or house around Richmond/South Yarra/Caulfield area :) (Furnished room preferably, or at least a room with a bed) I'm a 28 yr old female who loves good food, relaxing with a wine, keeping fit, socialising on the weekend but am just as happy chilling at home. I'm moving back to Melbourne to start my PhD in visual perception/consciousness at Monash (full scholarship which is basically the same as working full time). I love trying new things and going on adventures/meeting new people :) I'm also really open minded, don't take myself too seriously and love live music and gigs. (and the usual stuff, rent/bills always paid on time; clean and respectful of others space but also very friendly)
I'm a 19 year old female student who has been living out of home for 2 years now. I work part time in retail and am about to start my third year of a psychology degree at RMIT university. I'm pretty artistic and love music, good food and am always up for a chat and a laugh. Simply looking for a change of scenery and some new faces!
Hi, I'm Kaylar! I'm 21 and my current lease is up 1st of March. I work full time for a finance company as a training mortgage broker and lending administrator. I spend a lot of time with my partner in South Melbourne so it's very likely you will only see me once or twice a week! When we meet you can get a feel of who i am but ill try my best to get it down in writing. I am a happy and friendly person and enjoy company as much as my time alone. When i am home you will find me either reading or watching trashy Netflix shows. I love going out and trying new bars and cafe's, somebody who loves brunch and a couple of bevs will get along great with me. I'm looking for a place close to public transport that is upbeat and has a nice vibe!
Hey everyone! I am a 22yo from Sweden that just finished a bachelor in political science, and before I get tied up with work and more studies I want to experience as much of the world as possible. Australia has always been a dream destination of mine and is therefore the perfect place for me to start out with. I am a former basketball player and in general just a huge sports geek. I also enjoy music, especially Hiphop but I do love most genres. I also enjoy reading , playing video & PC games and watching movies. I've always been interested in all sorts of philosophy and poetry, so if you ever feel like engaging in a discussion then don't be hesitant to contact me! In Australia I want to experience as much as possible, I am a pretty active guy. I am also very tidy and I can cook the meanest and best burger you've had in your life!! I am the one you've been looking for, so don't hesitate to contact me! Cheers :)
Hello :) Ajay and I are looking for a third awesome flatmate to join us in a house/townhouse in Richmond (or a surrounding suburb close to a train station/tram line). We've just started looking for a new place to live. Our current lease is up this Friday and I'd like to move closer to my business in Richmond. We are two friends, professionals employed full time, who are fun, hard working, very clean and reliable. We pay bills on time and are very house proud. We are looking at 3 bed, 2 bathroom places around the $240-250 mark per week each but I'm happy to pay more for ensuite and parking if we find something good. If anyone would like to start up a new house get in touch! You must like animals, having a laugh and looking for friends rather than just flatmates. We love living together and would love to find another awesome friend to live with!
Friendly, easy going and polite Estonian couple discovering Australia. We recently graduated uni and decided to discover the world before settling down. Backpackers with suitcase. We respect everyone's privacy and do like to have our privacy as well. We always clean after ourselves. We would prefer a room with our own bathroom, but shared bathroom is also good as long as we don't have to share it with 5 people.
Hey everyone! I am looking for a private room for Feb 7th, 2017. A bit about me, I am a young professional working in commercial banking. Have been doing it for a few years and have recently been considering a career change. Possibly open up my own business! I am quite social and love to meet new people, but also balanced and can give space too. I'm very transparent and hope to find some mates who have the same values/interests. I am quite flexible with the duration of my stay. I prefer to find a place that is furnished and tidy. Close to public transportation and grocery stores are always a bonus! Looking for a place that is around $200/pw inclusive of utilities and internet. If you have something that may be of interest please send me a message! Look forward to meeting you!
Hey! We're currently in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa and we'd like to settle in Melbourne for 6-10 months whilst we work. We're looking for a room with a double bed and enough space for the two of us. We're both recent uni graduates (well we graduated 2 years ago but we can still say recent can't we?!) who have been working in support work and events whilst we saved for a bit of traveling. We've both lived in shared houses before and understand all of the unwritten rules that go with it. As a few examples, we know how important it is to respect other people's personal space and we're super clean and tidy, taking our fair share in chores (we can't live in mess!). We're social and both like a drink (both in a bar and whilst on the sofa watching Netflix) but do like time to ourselves too. However, we're after flatmates we can really get along with! If you think you'd like to live with us, we'd love to hear from you.
Originally from London but in Melbourne on a working holiday visa. I'm sociable, but not looking for a party house. I'm tidy and always clean up after myself (no dishes left in the sink for days on end!) After spending 4 months in hostel dorms I'm looking forward to having somewhere I can make feel like home. Hoping to find somewhere to stay for a minimum of 4 weeks, but may be longer depending on work. If you think you have something that might interest me please let me know. My moving in date could be flexible. Thanks Yvonne
*** Please no room shares :) *** Independent but always down for a catch up and adventures to places I haven't been in Melbourne yet. I'm originally from NZ but spent most of the year travelling through the UK and Aus. Working full time in business development and finishing my masters thesis which keeps me busy but I also like to get out and about in the weekends with my friends. I also play netball and beach volley competitively so ideally looking for a flat with like-minded individuals who keep active. Enjoy a good vino and a catch-up after work sometimes plus I'm not shy for a dance out from time to time but I prefer a good bar or pub over the clubs these days. I also love food and coffee and am always down for a brunch mission.. Looking for somewhere long term 6 months+ and would ideally like to move in with people my age as I intend to make friendships as well as flatmates.
Two persons, looking for a short-term stay. We are both students and working. We are about to go on a trip and our lease in out previous flat is over, so we just need a place where to stay for the next 4 weeks.
Hi, I'm a 21 year old Danish girl who has been living in Melbourne for the past 4 months, I'' looking for a room in the southern suburbs, where I can stay preferably until winter! I'm very easy going, likes fun nights out but also chilled night and privacy
A friendly Canadian bartender currently living in a space a bit too small for my liking. Looking for a short-term rental! I'm tidy, respectful, and great to live with. Love music, sport, red wine and craft beer. Cheers
I am an easy going, very friendly, clean and organised 32 year old female. I work full time in the city in the finance industry. I work Monday to Friday 9-5. I like to keep quite a healthy and active lifestyle and tend to keep fairly busy with gym and catching up with friends etc but do like to unwind with quiet nights chilling on the couch. I like relaxing with a glass of wine and a meal or heading to the pub for a beer and would be happy to share with someone who would be up for that too. I am quite social. I definitely enjoy a chat, a drink and heading out and about but am by no means a raging party animal, I value my sleep too much these days! I very much enjoy my down time and will always respect your time, space and privacy. I am looking for something long term 6 months +, and a place where I can feel at home.
My name is Etan and I am and easy going girl who has just finished my science degree and am working part time in hospitality. I have had a years experience living out of home but am keen to relocate somewhere closer to the city. I am very laid back and sociable, but also happy to do my own thing. I'm from Melbourne and enjoy movies/books ect and love animals (but don't have one)
