25 year old female originally from Sydney but have been in Melbourne 2 years now. I work full time in a night shift role (4pm-2am) which generally means I am home by about 3am. I'm extremely considerate of sharing my living environment after 10 years of shared living now so you won't come home to a mess, a rowdy party or be woken up at a ridiculous hour by a blender. I'd like to think I'm really easy going and always up for checking out cafes/bars/restaurants around town but my happy place is definitely trail running out in the mountains, hiking new trails and camping or adventuring down the coast. I keep active with these pursuits but also like to compete throughout the year in off road ultra marathons and am slowly dipping my toes into rogaining/mountaineering. Pretty easy going and love meeting people from all walks of life. I'm a non-smoker and looking to live in a smoke free home.
I'm going to make it nice and easy and just shoot you the most important facts straight away as bullet points. Also, I'm German, we like it efficient ;) -24 year old exchange student from Germany -looking for a room from asap until end of November -sociable, reliable, relaxed -likes sports, travelling, cooking, Netflix, Fifa, banter... I'm a easy housemate who keeps it clean and tidy and enjoys spending time with my roomies if possible. You won't find me locking myself into my room. Also I'm keen to make the most out of my time in Melbourne so I'm always down for a roadtrip on the weekend or whatever. I'm currently staying at a friend's place until I found something and I'm fairly flexible with dates for a viewing. Hit me up if you think it could be a match!
we both are very helpful and willing to help around the house, do the house chores , keep the flat very clean. we are quiet and very comfortable to live with . we will not be having any visitors. we will provide the best home environment. i am a student and work part time and my husband is working as well.
We are both working full time. Been housemates for over a year now, both very clean, organized and respect others privacy as we like ours(separately). However, we are fairly laidback for catch ups, sharing meals or outings.
21 year old student at University of Melbourne. Social and outgoing, working mostly nights in hospitality. Interested in music, sports (footy and NBA), and travel.
Hi! Gokhan here. I'm, a 29-year-old Data Scientist who wants to spend the rest of his time in lovely Melbourne after having 2 and a half years in Sydney. I am currently up-skilling myself in the field of Artificial Intelligence, so most of my time is dedicated to my computer and codes; it might sound a bit nerdy, not that scary though, trust me! I am a physically active, non-smoker individual; I regularly go to gym (Anytime Fitness), cook my own food, eat healthily and rarely have a glass of wine or two. I don't expect much from my prospective flatmates. We are all grown-ups, so I know everybody knows how to treat each other, and just because we are humans, we are likely to have conflicts every now and then. Still, I believe people can solve any problem as long as they are able to communicate. It is sad that I am not available for face to face inspection as I am currently overseas and I will be till the end of August; however we can arrange a Face Time call or something else. ps. Kafka, the cat in my photos, lives with my parents so I'm, unfortunately, pet-free as indicated in my profile.
I'm a fun-loving and a happy person. I love to sing, so you would hear me out go around singing quite often in the house. I am very particular about cleanliness and hence would like to be around people having the same thought. Apart from that, I am currently studying at Monash University, Caulfield and am looking for an accommodation nearby the campus.
I work full-time in a consultant company in city while doing my master degree as well. At the same time, I am a yoga teacher. I live overseas for a few years, now wanna settle down in Melbourne. Usually, after work, get back home rest, cook, chat a bit with housemates, gym ( sometimes early morning ), watch TV, have a slow drink, non-smoker, very cleansing, picky about house cleaning, can share house cleaning stuff. I am easy going, easy to chat, also respect privacy. During the weekends, always gym, cook, catch up with friends, hiking. Sometimes back home just wanna unwind, rest up. No drama. Looking for an apartment with gym close by or in the building, individual bathroom, close to train and tram in Carlton, Hawthorn, Glenferrie, or south bank area, Could move in around beginning of August. Prefer to stay not less than 6 months.
I am currently studying at uni as an international student in ACU. I am particularly interested in having a private bedroom and places near tram/train stations. I like to be tidy, and I am very sensitive towards the needs and dynamics the people around me. I am considerate of the people around me as well, and I know that everyone likes to have their own privacy. I like to make a system out of everything to keep it all organised so you will have no issues in living with me. Shoot me a message if you think you have an offer.
we are a couple both working full time, very quiet tidy and friendly we love our own space love animals watching movies go out for dinner and that's pretty much about it.
Im here for study English, so I’m looking for a place where I can share with people for practice and improve my English. During the week I am studying and working part time so I want to explore Melbourne and Australia on weekends, but also is ok if Iam in home share a conversation, dinner, some wines or beers, movies, etc. Im very clean, respectfull, tidy and I like cook.
We're a young couple coming form Italy, friendly, easy going, open minded and we love to meet new people. We are clean and tidy and always polite to everyone. We are moving to Melbourne hoping to live a nice experience, learn as much as we can from the Country and the peolpe.
I am an international student from Singapore. I will be studying Film and Television Production starting in September. I am friendly, chill, easy going, neat and open to other cultures.
I work in the jewellery industry, and am looking to move to Melbourne to start working in documentary video production. I like music, nature, reading, video, and good conversation. I am looking for a clean, tidy, good condition house with parking available and people who get along well.
Hi there! I'm Candice, I'm 28 and I'm an interior designer. I am currently looking for a small share house within inner-city Melbourne. I love the sun, botanical gardens, produce markets and enjoy chilled rosé come aperitif hour. I try to ride my bike as much as possible (weather permitting!) so something within cycle distance to work would be great too. Cleanliness and tidiness are very important for me, as is being considerate of others. I am very respectful of other people, their spaces and belongings. That said, I know how to relax and have fun too. I would like to find a housemate who identifies with these qualities, and who seeks a friendly and warm home atmosphere.
I’m Katie, 24 from England, here on a working holiday visa. Lived in Melbourne earlier in the year, spent some time on the Gold Coast and now back to work and save until the end of the year, maybe a bit longer (job already lined up). Looking for a private room around Fitzroy/Collingwood/CBD ideally but also open to other inner city suburbs. As long as I can get a short tram into CBD for work! Not interested in shared rooms. Would like housemates of similar age, potential brunch companions/wine and cheese/binge watch Netflix with me, but also get that we all need our own space sometimes. Bonus: I will probably do your washing up.
I'm currently studying arts at Melbourne Uni, majoring in criminology and German. I have a passion for animals (particularly dogs), cooking, and am an avid reader when I have time. I work quite a lot, currently at a cafe in Kew but hoping to find a nannying position or something new within the next few months. I'm clean, a good cook and down to have dinner/wine together as much or as little as you want. My preference would be for a team up rather than moving in to an established household, because I have heaps of furniture and would love the thrill of setting up the house collaboratively that way you and I like! I'm planning on fully equipping the kitchen, so if you're a fan of baking, there will never be a shortage of utensils. I would also love to have a roommate with a pet (or several!), because I'll be leaving the family dog that we have had for 10 years who is virtually my child. Absolutely not a requirement, but would be a super fun bonus. I'm buying a car ASAP so I would need parking, but not fussed about whether it's on or off-street.
