I'm a relaxed, witty, socially conscious 37 y.o guy. I'm clean and tidy without being OCD. I leave home around 7am M - F and return after 6pm. I spend at least one night of the weekend at my partner's place. I prefer the path of least resistance and avoid conflict. If I'm doing something that bothers you, let me know and I'll endeavour to change. I pay all bills well before they're due and I'll test the market periodically to ensure we're not getting hosed on power/gas/intarwebs :) Note: I can move in any time from early July to late August. I have a decent amount of bedroom furniture, so I'm looking for a large, unfurnished bedroom.
I'm a student working part time in a nursing home, working usually afternoons and nights. I'm looking for a female to share the house/apartment but not the room. I'm friendly and like nice and clean environment.
Hi Luke here, I am from Torquay, been living in Melbourne a while. I am 25, aspiring writer working on the side to support my ideas. I believe in treating everybody with kindness to the best of my ability and that mutual respect is a key point in maintaining a healthy living space.
Hi my name is Maj. I am currently 18, but 19 at the time I move to Melbourne. I am from Denmark. My working holiday will be starting in mid August and I am looking for a place to stay, while I am working. I am currently a student, but I graduate in July 2018. I work as an office assistant for an entrepreneur company on a project. When not studying and working, I enjoy doing scouting and musical theater. I have friends in Melbourne from a previous exchange stay, but I would like to expand my social circle with other Aussies and international folks, even more. I am planning to stay in the Melbourne for the entire year of my working holiday, with only short trips to see the rest of Australia. Simply because I enjoy the city so much. I consider myself to be a well behaved and nice person. I like my stuff to be in order and wish to live healthy. I am in general a very talkative and smiling person, but I of course have an understanding of other peoples privacy.
I'm young and enthusiastic about living independently, I have a large amount of experience renting and am just coming to the end of my own 1 bedroom apartment lease. I'm well organised, punctuality means something to me, which means bills are always payed before the due date. Other than that I'm happy to socialise and help keep the place clean, because mess drives me insane.
Hlos, I am Rahul, a super friendly and relaxed IT person from India, who is looking for a new/ share room in the suburbs of Melbourne. Ideally, I am a borderline health freak with a desire to experience many more adventures as hobby. But it is equally true that I am also occasionally a foodie. I love watching Netflix with chips after a long day and cooking or going out during the weekends. As such I am looking for a new place to stay from last week of June and would love to have a face to face chat for a more personal understanding. As I had previously lived in both hostel and share houses I was fortunate enough to make many friends across the globe & also hope to make many new friends in future as well. I would prefer a relaxed and cool house as even though I like to hang out over a glass of wine but I am not a crazy party owl. If you find me good enough as a potential housemate, then please do reply back so that we can chat further Thanks, Rahul
Relocating from NSW to Melbourne for work. Looking for accommodation for a few months prior to my partner moving down. Working Monday to Friday. Looking for a relatively quiet house near public transport. Pretty easy going, enjoy sport and the odd beer. Mid 20's, have lived in multiple share houses before, clean and honest.
Hi, I'm Martika. I'm a 23 year old professional originally from Bondi, I've called Melbourne home for the past 4 years. I’ve previously lived with housemates, but I’ve lived on my own for 3 years. I’m planning on going back to uni next year and I need to move out of my flat and find a flatmate! I’m looking for someone to find a new apartment with, not join an existing household. I’m upgrading from a one bedroom flat and I have everything needed to furnish an apartment, down to the knifes and forks. I do also come with a cat, Taco the adorable dickhead, he’s super chill and low maintenance. It’s all the perks of having a pet without any of the responsibilities! I work full time Monday-Friday and the occasional weekend. I’m not much of a party animal and would much prefer hanging out at home with a glass of red and a good meal.
Nerd. Introvert. Work in progress. Nerd girl with delusions of literary grandeur & a love for music, bad movies, scifi & fantasy and my dog. I love games, books and comics. I love art and travel and poetry. I love to cook and bake and take care of those I love. I don't care much for clubbing or huge parties, though I am a fan of board game nights or hanging out watching movies or trashy tv, and have been known to spend ridiculous amounts of time curled up with a good book or intense video game. Ideally I'm looking for a home with like-minded people - I don't need a huge room but Mal does need a yard (he's an 18 month old golden retriever - very friendly and a big snug bug though he does love to eat socks), and he's been an indoor dog so it would be great if he could still come indoors when I'm home.
I'm clean and willing to hit the town and do fun activities. That said, I also love my space and I'm quite quiet too. I have a food blog so it would be nice to have a flatmate to explore brunch places with. I love cats and hoping to get one in the future, if possible. If pets are not allowed in the apartment, that's fine too. Just finished a Masters from Monash and looking to really begin adult life. :)
I'm the housemate with built in responsibility-free pets for you to enjoy! I'm old enough to understand personal privacy and still young enough to enjoy a drink and a chat occasionally. I work full time in Docklands as a Designer, therefore I'm sure you can understand that I appreciate aesthetically pleasing home environment. I'm also from Perth and therefore have a strong need for working central heating. I have a 9yo Alaskan Malamute who is quite chilled and loves cuddles, and a 13yo cat who likes his own space and houses without alarms and other cats and small dogs. My dog needs a grassed pacth in a backyard and secure fences/gates. I'm keen to find a ready to go room in a lovely house with 1 or 2 housemates or team-up with another house hunter and see if we can find a great home together.
**Please note: I have a gorgeous puppy who will be moving with me! More below** Hi there! My name is Ali and I’m a 26 year old female looking for a place to call home, ideally in or near Elsternwick. I am a small business owner and enjoy cooking, listening to music, reading, weekend adventures and going to the gym. My background is half Japanese and half Australian. I am a very respectful housemate who is tidy and considerate. I own a property so I understand the importance of keeping a place in good condition. At the end of the day I like to unwind with a drink and am more than happy to chat and socialise but also enjoy my alone time. When I have days off I like to catch up with friends, eat good food and go explore in nature. Accepting of all people and full of love, so tolerant and kind people preferred. Most importantly, I have a beautiful puppy called Max. He is a Kelpie x Blue Heeler, loves playing soccer and giving you lots of love and attention. The property will need to have a secure yard for Max, and you will be someone who loves doggos! I am happy to move into an existing location or team up to find a new place. Hope to hear from you soon :)
I studying at RMIT University and working part-time at Elsternwick in IT. I am quiet and respectful of others’ privacy, although I enjoy socializing. I am clean and tidy and I also like to cook.
Born and raised in the local 'burbs I'd be described as friendly, relaxed and easy-going. I generally keep to myself due to my temperament, although I'm not antisocial - Certainly up for a chat or the odd movie on occasion. I'm an aspiring concept designer, and I currently work two jobs part-time in hospitality. I play guitar (not loudly don't worry) and I draw - a lot.
Hi there ! My name is Shou and I am 29 years old. I am pretty chilled, easy going and respectful and I don't smoke. I work full time in a Melbourne based furniture design/ manufacturing brand, from Monday to Friday. At home, I am the kind of person that who is up to keeping the kitchen and bathroom clean after using it. On weekends, I tend to hang out with friends on occasion. At the moment I really need a place to call home for the next 12 months or longer if things goes well. What I am looking to is to become not just housemates with my housemates but friends. Looking forward to hearing from you ;) Shou
Easy going, simple, professional who grew up in Melbourne. I’ve travelled for work and lived overseas and in Melbourne (both with and without housemates). I am neat and tidy therefore expect the same. Happy to hang out when time permits - pretty chill person. Also keen to team up to find a place; we can sort out the furnishings etc.
A long term couple looking for a home closer to both work and our studies. Very friendly and easy-going couple. We are both very reliable, honest and caring people. Don't like drama or conflict, just enjoy living relaxed, fun and easy-going lives.
I'm honest, friendly, easy to get along with though I do tend to keep to myself and always clean up after myself. I'm new to house sharing but due to how my life has played out over past few years I really need to find some sort of accommodation that has some security behind it and not find myself having to move again in a couple weeks or months time. I have been doing domestic cleaning for myself for over 10 years and still do some cleaning for a couple of clients from when I had my own small business. I work five days a week at a butchers/deli in Hampton starting at midday and finish at 6pm each night. Once I've been able to obtain accommodation in or around my preferred locations my hours at work will be increased. I don't own a car, therefore I do walk a lot, around 160km a month plus I also rely on public transport.
Hey! So I'm originally from the lovely island of Sri Lanka, but I've lived in England and Wales briefly when I was younger, and I've ended up here in Melbourne to do my undergrad. Currently living in a wonderful sharehouse in Clayton but my lease ends in October, and I'm keen to change things up a bit! I'm honestly not too fussed about where you live, as long as it's a decent distance from Clayton (where I'm doing my placement) and my housemates are easy going... And I'm open to team-ups too. As for what I do for fun, as cliché as this sounds, I love exploring. I'm the person who sees cool places on Instagram and ends up driving there (I kid you not hahah). On some Fridays, I'll head off to the city, on others I'll head off to hibernate. Oh and I have a good stock of Sri Lankan spices handy hahah.
Hi, I'm Callum and I'm due to arrive in Melbourne from England at the end of July. I am friendly, polite and tidy. I am outgoing and happy socialising, but I can definitely respect an individuals need for their own space. My general interests revolve around all things sport. However, I am very open to new experiences and learning about what makes other people tick. I'm a simple guy looking for a home away from home, and people to share a laugh and a cold one with.
Hi. I'm Shahram 38 yo. I'm very easy going, clean and tidy. I'm after a place to call it home. I respect other ppl's privacy but also happy to share a meal and have some chats even outdoor activities if you like. I have a full time professional job and just finished my master degree. I have a car and a parking spot would be essential. I love cats and puppies but not indoor, so I can't join if you have indoor pets. Looking for a FURNISHED one with PRIVATE BATHROOM. Thanks.
