Dear friends, My name is Emily and I am looking for a double/en-suite to rent in Melbourne - South Yarra, Armadale, Caufield, Glen Huntly, Toorak and Malvern area. I do not mind other options along the Frankson line if the offer is good. The best moving date is after my arrival - 24/09/2018. However, I am willing to accept an earlier moving in date. Here are some information about myself: + I'm 24 and I am going to be a student at Le Cordon Bleu Melbourne so I definitely love foods, especially my soft spot is coffee, wine and whisky. + I like fitness, gym, cycling, outdoor activities. In my freetime, I enjoy going to visit galleries, markets and books. + I've lived in the UK for the past 7 years to complete A-Levels in England and a Bachelor at University of Glasgow (Scotland). + During the student time, I shared a lovely white Scandinavian flat with 2 other flatmates which one of them owned the property. We loved it there so we took responsibilities to make it home and arrange the weekly cleaning to keep it at its best. + Beside, I used to work for TEDxUniversityofGlasgow (TED talks), so you are preparing to have a flatmate who appreciates great conversations and good company (even just for netflix) and at the same time respects the personal space
Hi Luke here, I am from Torquay, been living in Melbourne a while. I am 25, aspiring writer working on the side to support my ideas. I believe in treating everybody with kindness to the best of my ability and that mutual respect is a key point in maintaining a healthy living space.
Hi my name is Maj. I am currently 18, but 19 at the time I move to Melbourne. I am from Denmark. My working holiday will be starting in mid August and I am looking for a place to stay, while I am working. I am currently a student, but I graduate in July 2018. I work as an office assistant for an entrepreneur company on a project. When not studying and working, I enjoy doing scouting and musical theater. I have friends in Melbourne from a previous exchange stay, but I would like to expand my social circle with other Aussies and international folks, even more. I am planning to stay in the Melbourne for the entire year of my working holiday, with only short trips to see the rest of Australia. Simply because I enjoy the city so much. I consider myself to be a well behaved and nice person. I like my stuff to be in order and wish to live healthy. I am in general a very talkative and smiling person, but I of course have an understanding of other peoples privacy.
Looking for a one bedroom studio/Apartment, Granny Flat or Bungalow. Open to sublet apartment if someone is going away to travel for few months * I'm well travelled, mature, independent woman and I take pride in my life and living space. I enjoy a quite and peaceful living space, hence i am looking now to live alone. I’m chilled, friendly , social but also love a lot of down alone time , like any well balanced Libra 😉 I am a professional working in Human Resources in the city and also have an online business. Available street parking for my car is important. Look forward to hearing from you, if you have a place, or can put me in touch with someone who does. Elle
Hey guys, I'm looking to team up with one or two other girls and find a new place. I'm pretty flexible on the location but prefer the northern suburbs but definitely open to the south suburbs as well. Looking for someone similar to my age (21-23) and with similar interests.
My name is Phil and I’m currently based in Melbourne - working for the next 3-4 months, or a bit longer, in the city (Collins St) - I’m heading up marketing full time for a software company. I’ve been with my company for the past 4 months and I am building a team at our Melbourne HQ - before I start working more from the Auckland office. I’m originally from the UK, but my main home is with my partner in Auckland. I’m an easy going guy and very relaxed to have around. I’m working a lot during the week, with the odd trip back to NZ - but when I'm not overseas on the weekends, I also like to visit the NGV, go on walks (sometimes power!) around the city and down to Brighton and Sandringham, plus also visit friends in Daylesford. Thanks! Phil
Hey everyone! I'm a Melbourne born 28 year old working full time in the city and am currently looking to find a new place to call home for the next 6 - 12 months. I'm a social, relaxed person, fully house trained and am looking to move in with people who don't mind having a chat, a drink or watching a movie or two, but are respectful that we all need our own downtime every now and then. I enjoy heading out most weekends on little adventures, catching live music when I can and the occasional card or board game.
We are 4 Brits in Melbourne looking for a place to call our own. We are in full-time employment, meaning we are busy Monday to Friday. However, we like to kick back at the weekend with a cold one. We love all things sport and are keen to meet new people and share our interests.
Happy and easy going.
Looking to team up with one or two people anywhere from Mordialloc to Elwood in the south east! I work full time in the emergency services (4 days on 4 days off) - I’m usually quite busy out at night at gym/training when not on night shifts and often away visiting family on the coast on days off. I like to get out for bike rides and swimming in warmer months. I'm tidy and like to live in a clean space- well house trained and handy in the garden (also like house plants). I love a good social home environment, but also respect personal space and am quite happy doing my own thing. I’m not keen on commercial tv - (prefer music and conversation!) but understand we all have our tv/Netflix series we like to watch! I also play music (guitar and piano generally when no one is home!). I have some furniture, so happy to provide or split the goods - I'm flexible with what works. Looking for a potential 2 or 3 bedroom place with a total of 2 or 3 people.
Hi everyone , I'm looking for a place to call home for at least the next 6 months if not longer! I'm 21, I love make up, a quiet night in or a night out but I’m often working or studying. I am a very relaxed tidy person who is social likes to have people overbut also loves some down time relaxing or watching a movie. I do have a car so I would need some sort of parking. I'm happy to share or cook my own food would love to sit down catch up and have a meal with each other ever now and again. I also loving going out for brunch, lunch or dinner and exploring what Melbourne has to offer. I have a job at a nightclub on Saturday nights and Maccas in the cafe a few mornings a week. Please no cats (I'm allergic) but I'm fine dogs and love them! I am looking for a private room something that is close to public transport as I travel into the city for uni. I have a queen bed and a desk. Message me if you have something that will suit, would love to come and have a look at your available room and meet you! 😊
I'm 31 and currently work as a senior analyst in tech. I'd say I'm a very laid back, easy going person and I like to live with relaxed, positive people who don't take themselves too seriously. I'm not a fan of conflict/BS so I prefer to live with people who are open and happy to chat if any issues do arise. Id say I have a pretty balanced lifestyle and in my spare time I get outside whenever I can, love going to the beach, yoga-ing (yeah, that's not a real word I know), music, reading, cooking, the usual - pretty much just like keeping busy, having fun with mates and relaxing when I'm home. I like to live with people who keep the place neat and tidy but I'm definitely not OCD with it and would prefer the same in housemates. I enjoy going out on the weekend, but I'm more of a keep the party at the bar person. I tend to work pretty hard so I like to have relaxed weeknights when I'm home. I like having people over from time to time, but if you're a massive entertainer in the week, I may not be your best bet. Would like to live with friendly people who I get along with and can share a meal/couch hang with on occasion, but who are independent and also happy to do their own thing. Hope to hear from you and shout if you have any more questions :) Ash
I just turned 18, am half German half Australian and planning to study at Monash starting February. I'll be moving from Germany, but have been to Australia quite often as I've got family in Geelong. I'm easy going, pretty clean and active. I like to do sports in my free time as well as go out for drinks. I'd be down to go to concerts and music festivals. Also planning to pick up on surfing again. Would prefer living with people around my age. Hmu!
Hi I am Danni! I have lived in Melbourne for over two years, moved over from NZ. I have lived in a share house and on my own. I work full time in brighton. I am a responsible person, who loves a tidy, considerate, relaxed, comfy home. I cook dinner most nights after work, and love to relax with some tv, podcast, music and a warm cuppa. I’m super chill, but also like having a friend or two pop over now and then. As I have lived on my own, I do have some furniture, including a fridge, washing machine, bed, microwave, furniture etc so I’m also keen to rent somewhere for a team up. Hit me up :) let’s have a chat
I'm Roberta from Vilnius, Lithuania. In February I'm coming to Melbourne to do my traineeship, so I need a cozy space to live for three months. I am friendly, easy-going, neat person. I don't like to party in my living space, but would like to meet interesting people to talk with. I like travelling, reading, cooking. I do not smoke, do not own any pets but could live with them :) I'd need a private, furnished room to live.
Im 19 and working full time as a support education worker, Im looking for a nice room with easy going people to share the house with. I would love to hear from you, give me a message :)
We are 2 really chilled people! I like to clean and organise (not too much, don’t worry) we are both clean and healthy people, and we are also quite desperate for a room as the house we are renting in now is being demolished soon. I work so will have no problems with paying my rent. We both have our own cars, love animals and people and are very friendly. We come with a 4 month old puppy.
We are two incredibly hard working people both working usually 7 days a week. We are quiet and enjoy a cold beer after work however we also like to keep to ourselves. We really only have clothes with us so some furniture would be great but we aren't overly fussed. We have a Labrador who is my assistance/therapy dog and his best mate, our cat. All four of us are house trained and have great rental references!
