Canberra raised now a Melbourne northsider looking for an unfurnished room in the neighbourhood when my Carlton North lease is up. Work a 9to5 in the city by day to pay the rent but big into music in my spare time (hip hop/electronic/soul) and starting to learn a bit of production. Great to join a house that's up for hang outs, gigs or the occasional beers at home. I'm easy going, social and respect everyone's space and privacy. Been living in sharehouses for a while, so I know to pay bills on time and keep tidy. Anything else you'd like to find out? feel free to ask!
Hey! My name is Tegan, currently working full time in a wine store, enjoy cooking, keeping active and cheeky bevs. Would love to move into a social house with a few people that are up for drinks etc. but who also need their space. *If you have a dog/s I will love them like my own
I work full-time hours and study by side, when I'm at home I'm pretty chill and need some down time, but I like to social when I'm around and also respect to your own space. I prefer not living in a party house but do enjoy the odd drink/dinner. I'm very clean and tidy (but not a clean freak type), friendly and open-minded. I'm into travelling, movies, music, sports, photography, arts, food, coffee and cats :) I work in a restaurant as a pastry chef, besides my works, I like to go to the gigs, movies, exhibitions, shows, festivals, exploring the nice restaurants/cafes/pastry shops/markets, and travel when I have holidays. Although we might have the different work schedules, I'm very respectful and won't bring the party to home. I am happy to share the household as I like to keep the house clean and tidy, I'm looking for the liked -mind housemate who likes clean and tidy, and would be energy conscious, e.g. would not wash one clothes a time or smartly use air-con/heater etc. I'm looking for a peaceful home to live with positive people, who enjoy a relaxed quiet home and not a couch potato. ***If your home is TV free, it will be a great bonus to me! Reliable and honest, pay rent on time. Conscious of the wastage of the energy. Looking for a relaxed home, not a party house. Clean and tidy, happy to join the household. Independent, share when I/you want to. Don't mind smokers but no smoking in the house. Open-minded, love multi- cultural, LGBT friendly, 40+ friendly. Pastry chef, occasional sweet treats :) Cat lover, welcome cats and like dogs. Please message me before calling, thank you! My budget is 800 to 1000/month, depending on the place.
Hey Hows it going? Im Ash, 25 years old, working full at the moment near greensborough as a civil engineer. Working Monday to Friday all day long so potential roomates will have the place to them selves during weekdays. Chilled out guy, absolute neat freak, get along with everyone and always respect people's privacy as I enjoy mine at times.
Vegan feminist Psychology student at Swinburne. My name is Ruby but I also go by AJ. I like analogue photography and pretty flowers and candles and handlettering and bartending and op shopping. I'm not super fussed but I'd prefer to live in a house that has a garden/plants, a bath (I lived on campus at Swinburne all of 2016 and the apartments only have showers and I just really miss baths okay), and somewhere that lets me occasionally light a candle without evacuating the entire building. I'm a pretty open book and don't really have anything to hide from the world, while still being very respectable of privacy and personal boundaries. I keep any mess I make to myself, and always check with housemates before inviting people over. I'm not much of nightclub person, and I don't drink much at all (World Record Lightweight, here). My kind of socialising involves comfy clothes, comfy couches, deep conversations, maybe some stargazing or some cake or some board games and probably a musical or two. I can bring to the table almost anything, including a DVD/VHS player, desktop computer, printer, a bunch of fairy lights, and also I have a PlayStation 2 so really what more could you ask for? 😘 Xx I'd prefer to team-up with you and for us to start a share house together (I already have my eye on some adorable places to rent and they're just so gosh darn cute oh gosh) That said, I would also love to join your sharehouse family with a room available. Let me know what would work best for you, as I'm very flexible and open to ideas. Happy to chat over coffee (well, I drink hot-chocolate but you know, same difference). Looking forward to meeting you!! ❤💕
Relocating from Canberra after recently graduating University. Looking to explore the area, always up for an adventure. Play AFL,love sport, enjoy going to the occasional concert and going for afternoon drinks on the weekend. Have a well behaved kelpie who MIGHT be coming along. Looking for like minded people who love to socialise but also enjoy downtime and keeping the place clean. If you have any questions flick me a message!
Hello! I'm looking for a base in Melbourne as spend part of my time 1.5 hours out of the city. I work for myself - teaching yoga and am building another new web business, plus doing some part time studies and other TCB things. I have a really good renting track record and it's because my time is divided that I'm keen to share in the city rather than manage another house independently. I keep a healthy lifestyle and home is usually a quiet space for me - although I do love music... I'd do well living with like minded people with similar values and routines - healthy, conscientious creative folk. I'm very easy around the house and happy to keep a house flowing well, clean and tidy! Happy to answer any other qus!
Country girl from a little place in Northern Victoria called Echuca, quit my job as a press photographer and moved to Melbourne 16 months ago to have a bit of fun. I'm a kids fitness coach so I'm very approachable and easy to get along with, i love my fitness, and when I'm not running around with kids I'm running a retail store. Currently studying my second degree, not afraid to have a few drinks, and I'm a great laugh.
I'm a Graphic designer from London and have lived in Melbourne for 1 1/2 years now - spent a year travelling around south east asia but now looking to stay in Melbourne for the long term. At the moment I live in Collingwood but sadly the landlord wants to sell the apartment so will have to move out 26th February so ideally move into a new place on that date. During the week I usually work 8.30-5 Monday to Friday, so at night I take it pretty easy. Like to hang out and cook, go to the gym but always up for a casual meal or drink but nothing too crazy. But at the weekend I'm always up for a few drinks down the pub or head out to bars, the beach or something outdoors during the summer. I'm a very easy going person to live with, considerate - i always tidy up after myself and like to take care of the place i live in. Looking for people with similar interests who don't just exist in the house, but like to do things with the other housemates.
I work as a Business Development Executive for a Salary Packaging company, a role which involves me traveling interstate 1-2 times a month. I don't smoke or drink and am one of the neatest and tidiest people you will ever meet! I cant cook to save my life but I'm an expert at cleaning up afterwards. I enjoy catching up with friends and am a keen follower of all sports. I love animals and kids, even though i don't have any of my own. I'm friendly and outgoing, also polite and respectful and just as happy keeping to myself.
Super chill & friendly guy from Singapore, looking for a place with like-minded flatmates who appreciate a balanced week. I enjoy exercising, eating good food (cancels the first part out), movies and meeting new people. Recently discovered the magic that is red wine so if you appreciate a glass (or 10) of cab sav to slowly wind the evening down that's a major plus. I'm neat & tidy especially with shared spaces and won't mess your toilet up. Always cool with anyone bringing friends over as long as everyone is equally respectful of each other. If you like what you read and want to team-up, let me know!
I have lived in share houses for many years and wouldn't have it any other way - I love community, and the people I've lived with tend to become great friends. Traits I value in myself and others include being considerate, open and kind communication, and taking care of all the usual sharehouse duties with grace! A bit about me - I'm 33 with a few creative bones in my body (background in theatre and visual art), and a passion for complimentary health (Naturopathy graduate, working as a Kinesiologist one day per week), and avid nature lover/camper/hiker, and also work the 9-5 x four days per week in local government. I'm rather busy and tend to fill my days and evenings, but I see building a strong relationship with my housemates as a high priority and love the periodic 'family dinner', and of course regular spontaneous cups of tea/vino and chats. Rachel :)
I am a female who works full time in the CBD. I am 32, I love to keep fit, go shopping go to the movies hang out with friends, or simply have a night in. I don't mind a drink with housemates but understand we all need our own time some times. I don't bring the party home after I am out. I am tidy considerate and reliable.
Hi! My name is Anna, I am a full-time masters of architecture student at the University of Melbourne. I would enjoy a fun, social house - with some shared meals and cooking (I'm vegetarian). I like to focus on study during the week, but also do yoga, go for walks, drink cups of tea and chat, see friends - and I like to go out on the weekends for some beers. I like to keep things very clean and keep rent and bills all happening on time.
Hi, My name is Brooke. I am 26 years old and moving to Melbourne from Adelaide for work. I'm a physiotherapist and will be working full time across 6 days a week. I am looking for a room to rent. I'm very tidy, friendly, quiet and considerate. I'm hoping to move by the first week of February. If you have a room available or know someone who does, please get it touch as I'd love to hear more. I'm flexible with location, but prefer the eastern suburbs/inner city. Kind regards, Brooke
I love reading, binging TV shows, sharing meals / drinks some evenings. I've house shared before and know how to not be a dick. Fairly social at the weekends - going out and doing new things in new places: markets, exploring, bike rides, beaches, activities etc. This is starting to sound like a cliche dating bio. I just love long walks on the beach. I work 9-5ish. I'm pretty chill.
I'm Joanne from Malaysia and have been travelling extensively the past four years all over Europe, SEA, Australia and New Zealand. I LOVE rock climbing, surfing, cooking (and eating) lots of yummy food, and have recently started doing aerial yoga which is amazing. I like being outside - I occasionally work as an outdoor instructor and bring kids out hiking, camping, climbing, kayaking and heaps of other fun things. Most of my time is spent being active outside, or just devouring books on a lazy day. I enjoy checking out music and art festivals and am currently enrolled to study Early Childhood Education so I'd be working with kids a lot. My biggest pet peeve is messy places, so I like to keep things tidy =) Dan is an engineer but not your usual engineer. He loves exploring and creating things - most of what he's done are art installations and he's ran a workshop on making musical pom-poms (for the lack of a better word)! He currently works full time but spends most of his time either brainstorming ideas for his new art project, rock climbing, and sailing. And oh, he makes great food and has amazing music tastes too. Great conversationalist! We both love dogs, very house trained and easy to get along with and like being active!
About this person Hi I'm Julia and I work full time at a health organisation in the CBD. I love being active, the outdoors and catching up with friends over good food and wine. My chill days involve watching a movie, baking, painting or all of the above! I'm easy going and tidy up after myself.
Hi everyone Magda and I are looking for a place to call home until at least the end of the year. Magda is an interior designer and I study social work and work in town planning. We like acro yoga, surfing, biking and skateboarding. We are easy to get along with and reliable good living mates. Please feel free to get in touch. Magda and Konrad
Hi Guys! I've just returned home after spending two and a bit years in the UK. I'm a full time working professional. I'm a Business Analyst in the city. I'm single 28 and slowly adjusting back into life after relocating. I'm quiet during the week and respectful of people's privacy, I'm social and independent however at the same time would like to live with a house mate who would like to share the occasional meal and wine. I've lived in shared house for a few years now, I'm very tidy and quite easy going. Anything else let me know :)
My name is Kelly. I am a 28 years old French girl. I am working full time in a café in the CBD and I also give French classes in the evening. I already have experience of sharing appartment and house and I think I am a tidy, clean and quiet housemate. I love sharing with people like having a chat, cooking together, having a drink outside but I also like having my own time. I love music and particularly going to music live concerts in bars. I also enjoy a lot going to the beach or walking in the city discovering new places when I have some free time.
Hey Hallo, I am a looser in long-term planning and hence I am looking for a permanent accommodation from now on. I just arrived from Germany to start working in a forest restoration project. My claims for the future shelter are rather undefined. I can adopt like a chameleon to the predominant cleanness level and room/ house size, am open for any number of house mates and don´t need much comfort. (I lived in shared houses for the last 9 years with 1 up to 14 flat mates) However, I prefer a high dose of social interaction and community feeling with appropriate portions of private sphere. Here some random, spontaneous facts about me, so that you can estimate who you're dealing with and to check if we could get along well with each other. The distance between my corners of the mouth is 5.5 cm, and when I am smiling it extends by 2 cm. I am good at whistling but have deficits in decision making. I don´t know what I would change in my live if I had more money, except that I always would have maple syrup at home. My favorite vegetables are carrots. I like asymmetry and intense colors in the environment. I usually get sick in the subway-train and am afraid of airplanes and of routine every-day life. Practically, besides being adventurous, restless and chaotic I am optimistic, uncomplicated and don´t need much to be satisfied and happy. I like to keep things simple and to improvise. I hate formal language and do not understand why it was invented. I also do not understand why there is an “h” at the end of my name. To me it doesn’t make sense to put inaudible letters into words. This is a waste of letters. I strive for an ecological lifestyle and am a tolerant vegan. I like being out in nature, aimlessly walking around in cities and country sides, observing, watching and making art (though I´m not that good at it), sewing, handicrafts, recycling, upcycling, cycling, travelling, putting myself into uncertain situations, hitchhiking. I am carefree, predominantly happy, confuse but reliable and the big toe is the longest on my feet. And so on …

Hello I'm Julien, a 25 old french guy from Paris. I'm in Australia (for 1 year maybe 2) to discover the world and to discover myself. I'm a respectful person, discreet but not too much. I like to laugh and discover people I have lots of hobbies like comics (especially Batman and The Walking dead), geography (I have a master degree in public transport) and of course (said it with a french accent) food : I think Saucisson with hazelnuts is the best ''hors d'oeuvre'' in life. It will be a pleasure to share this sin with a glasse of white wine with my future roomates. Hope to see you Julien
I have sharehoused in lots of situations and locations for 13 years now and am adaptable to be a good member of pretty much any household. I am respectful and friendly in the house, keep the common areas clean and open for a chat about just about anything. I work full time in Richmond in a cosmetic clinic and like to be out socialising as much as possible, while keeping a nice balance of a few early nights in. I love everything to do with the arts - film, photography, writing, art and love good food and travel. Ideally I would love to share with a few nice girls around 30 yrs but I am up for anything that fits well. Have a sublet until the 20th of March but willing to sign on earlier to secure a good room :)
21 from Melbourne, looking to move out of home for the first time. I'm easy-going and go to lots of events (mainly concerts) around the city. Studying comm design at Swinburne. I'm a good cook and generally organised. I like drawing, baking and craft things. I have a small issue with my mobility so ideally I'd like a place without any stairs etc. I'm often quiet but currently looking to meet new people so feel free to message me!
Hi, I'm Asher. I'm doing an honours year in psychology at Swinburne, after 4 years working as an engineer. I've been in sharehouses for 7 years now, so I'm reliable, considerate and open. I've just returned from a working holiday in South America, and I'm looking for a house where everyone is equal and looks out for each other. In my spare time, I enjoy 5 rhythms dancing, going to gigs, travelling out of the city, acting and cooking.
Hi potential flatmate(s). I'm a financially dependable 33y/o guy who works full time in the city with a fairly autonomous role in the training industry and am simultaneously working to get my startup side business off the ground. I play a fair bit of golf on the weekends, enjoy running, AFL, watching doccos, traveling when time permits, and have been described by those around me as down to earth, easy going and someone who doesn't sweat the small stuff. I love a beer, or a decent glass of red, can cook (follow recipes) reasonably well, although am the sort of person to hit up Uber eats and/or get a bite out most nights. I've been house sharing for most of the past ten years, although was recently living with my (now ex) girlfriend, hence why I'm back trying to find a decent place and people to share it with. I'm well and truly past the party house stage, and/or the extremely minimalist/mismatched IKEA furniture stage, and like the idea of coming home to a modern place that I'm genuinely proud to live in. Really just looking for a relaxed and sociable housemate to live with, in a decent spot, preferably inner city and within walking distance of somewhere to get a coffee on the weekend, where I'd also have access to my own bathroom.

The bit about me: 30yrs old and looking to find a home in Melbourne. Interests of mine include films, swimming, Sci Fi books, finding bargains, swimming, eating, making ticks on my to do list and having moments with great people. I am very clean and considerate, and respectful of others privacy.

Hi my name is Fiona, I am 27 from Melbourne. I am a young professional working full time (Mon-Fri) as a visual merchandiser. I also study part time 2 days a week. In my spare time I like to go to art exhibitions, draw, practice yoga, go to the gym, camping, catch up with friends and family, see live music. etc. the normal stuff. I start work pretty early at 7am so will be out of the house between 6-6.30am and be home from 4-4.30pm, unless I am at Uni. I am very quiet in the morning so if you're worried I will wake you, I'm pretty good. I am a neat and tidy person with a stable income, who is independent, easy going, happy to have a laugh and not take life too seriously. I have a car which I don't drive very often. So will need somewhere to park. If that means a parking permit that is fine but would prefer off street parking. I am an experienced sharehouser who moved out of my last place November last year. Have been living at my parents place for the last few months and am still living out of boxes which I would love to unpack and settle somewhere soon. What I would love from my new home is: Great housemates, people who like to have chat over a glass of wine and don't spend there whole life in their bedroom, (but I also understand that we all love a bit of solo chill time), somewhere with some sort of outside area... My old place was a tiny claustrophobic cube! and somewhere which is clean and everyone contributes to the upkeep of the home. Hopefully we can catch up for a meet and greet, I look forward to meeting you! Fi : )

My personality is a mess but let's try to pick it apart: - I'm a medical student, so I'm good at keeping quiet and staying in my study nook. I'm based at the Austin Hospital in Heidelberg this year. - I'm a musical theatre & film enthusiast, and can easily spend hours analysing small elements of stage out loud at whoever wants to listen. - I'm from Norway, and through my English is fluent I'm still very foreign if you ask me what the Magic Schoolbus is or who the Wiggles are. - I do some after-uni theatre on Fridays with other medical students, where we practice improv and eventually put on a terribly punny show for charity. - I have a piano keyboard (played intermittently) and a PS3 (played seldomly). - I spend equal amounts of time running away from my study as I do studying it. If you're going to the pub or out dancing or even just to IKEA, there's a high chance I'll wanna tag along!
My name is Laurent, I am 22 years old and all my teeth, I come to discover the wines and atmosphere and landscapes Autralien, I am restaurateur and more precisely wine waiter by profession. And as a good Frenchman I cook well apparently. I am very respectful of the rules and very clean, very open minded I adapt very easily, I am good to live! Cheers
