Hi there, my name is Nabilah. I'm trying to find an affordable apartment with one or two flatmates. I'm currently working full-time as a criminal lawyer in Sydney. I've recently decided to move to Melbourne and start my masters degree at Melbourne Uni. I'm friendly and very tidy. I respect space and privacy, but also love an occasional wine/meal with the housemates. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
My name is Adrienne, I am a 25 year old female working as a Practice Manager of a Collins street Dental Practice. I am a very clean, respectful, mature & friendly person & would ideally like for my housemate(s) to posses these traits too. I would prefer to live with people who are aged between 22 & 35 & do not mind whether my housemate or housemates are male or female, however I am not looking to live with a couple. I am open to moving into a share house or share apartment with preexisting tenants, however I do have all of my own furniture which is brand new, so a new share apartment would be preferable so that I can bring it all with me. I am not looking to share bedrooms & as I work long hours & very much rely on my sleep/privacy at the end of a working day. 2 bathrooms would also be a plus & id be happy to pay around $300 each p/w for rent. I love cooking, baking & sharing a bottle of wine over a movie or dinner! I would love to share a home with someone who would like to go out for food/drinks & is looking to form a friendship, as well as being roommates. If all of the above sounds good to you - I would love to hear from you! - Adrienne
Hi, I'm loving the Collingwood/Fitzroy area and I'm keen to find a sociable house to join with a good outdoor area. I'm working full time as a surveyor driving down to the south eastern suburbs, so ideally want a place near to a freeway/tollway entrance, with off street parking. I'm sociable, clean and easy going and looking for housemates that are similar in that regard. I'm not looking to join a party house, but more than happy to share a chat, food or a drink or two. I love the outdoors and like to stay active - cycling mainly, but keen to get back into my fencing and get into climbing/bouldering. If you reckon I sound like a potential housemate please let me know. Cheers Yen-Sen
Hey Hows it going? Im Ash, 25 years old, working full at the moment near greensborough as a civil engineer. Working Monday to Friday all day long so potential roomates will have the place to them selves during weekdays. Chilled out guy, absolute neat freak, get along with everyone and always respect people's privacy as I enjoy mine at times.
I am tidy, I don't steal stuff, and I love to bake. I also like eating, drinking, watching tv, being active, and socialising. I know how to have a laugh, and know when to leave you alone. Basically, as long as you're a decent human being then I can be the best house mate ever
I am a 25 year old Event Coordinator, working full time in the city. I am a very tidy and clean person, who's loves to socialise but also appreciates down time. Looking to move as soon as possible!
Hi guys, I'm a 32yo professional looking for a furnished house to share for 6 months (but most likely longer) from early 2017. I'm originally from country Victoria but have spent the past 10 years in Western Australia. Prefer the Northcote/Thornbury area but will consider anywhere within a 30 minute PT ride of the CBD. I've spent the majority of the past 15 years in share houses and as such I come to you as a clean, tidy and respectful housemate whom contributes to household chores. I'm also partial to sharing meals on occasion and socialising with the household. I am generally pretty quiet during my working week (Mon-Fri 8-5) and tend to exercise, relax or work on my hobbies/interests on the weeknights, and socialise/travel/hike/visit family on the weekends. Ideally I'm looking for a small household with 1-3 other people whom have similar habits and hobbies/interests. I spend quite a lot of weekends away in the country with friends, family, hiking, exploring, skiing, camping and would love to be able to find a like-minded group of people down here in Melbs. I also love travel, dancing salsa and sitting on the front porch with a wine. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or would like to meet up and chat! Thanks for stopping by my profile.
Hi, I'm Georgia :) I am 19 years old and am a full-time student looking for accomodation at an affordable price. I study at Deakin (Burwood), and am currently looking for a casual job here in Melbourne (I have one back in Tassie that I work at when I am back for holidays). I dance a few nights of the week also. I am from Tasmania and moved to Melbourne at the start of 2016 for university. I am studying Exercise and Sport Science and will be in my third year in 2017. I will be heading back to Tassie soon for the Christmas/summer break, but will be back mid February and am flexible as to when I can move from my current place (in Eltham). Looking for a place in between Deakin (Burwood) and the city. Not too far from either. Loved living in Abbotsford earlier in the year, and will look at surrounding suburbs.

West Coast fan also follow Basketball, Cricket, Tennis, Netball and any other sport really. Clean and Respectful guy looking for a furnished room preferably with a double bed and aircon in the bedroom. No issue with a shared bathroom. Will consider anything from short to long term if its the right fit. No pets but no issue if you do have some. Non-Smoker. Working near the MCG so a City/Southbank or inner suburb is preferred as I don't own a car or close to Trams/Trains.

Bonus points if you go to the gym (and hit legs) Also dabble in music when the mood strikes Pretty chilled, but always going to look after my responsibilities and goals first By no means a party animal, but don't mind if you are Work part-time as a volleyball coach and potentially working at RMIT next year as well Relatively tidy and organised, not a neat freak though Happy to contribute to the household with cooking, cleaning etc. Have shared with a friend for the past year, but he has had to move home for financial reasons, but that does mean I come house trained! A healthcare professional, working full time, tidy and very quite but friendly at the same time and does not mind having an odd chat. Would prefer a private room and parking space is a must.

We have recently finished a road trip across the South of Australia and want to set up in Melbourne for a while. Owen is a carpenter and I am a teacher. We are an easy going English couple who enjoy great food, music, chilling in, fitness and exploring. We are looking for a room for a min of 4 months! Let us know if you think we could fit in your humble abode x
Hi there, My name is Tim, I'm 23, I'm from country Victoria, and I'll be moving to Melbourne in December/January. I'm an honest, creative and down to earth guy. I enjoy a good chat and laugh, and am generally intrigued by people's lives. In my spare time you would usually find me tucked away in a cafe with a good book or just spending time with friends. I am naturally tidy, organised and respectful. Ideally looking for a genuine house share experience where I can come home and relax with friends, not strangers. Shoot me a message if you have any questions. Would be happy to meet for a coffee or drink to see if we mesh. Cheers Tim.
Easy going and social but respectful of other people's space and privacy. I've been living in share homes since 20, hence I know to pay bills on time and always like to keep clean and tidy. I have my own furniture and belongings and am looking for an unfurnished room. Current lease in Carlton North is coming to an end sadly after more than a year! I'm looking to find a new home around the inner north. Feel free to ask if you want to know anymore.
Hello Melbourne! I have recently moved (from Brisbane) for work and I am looking for a place to make a home. I'm in my twenties, love staying in with a glass of wine and good company equally as much as I love weekend adventures. I'm tidy and mature and can clean up after myself. I work in marketing. I have no furniture to bring but happy to furnish my own room. I do require a place with space to park a car. My boyfriend lives in Bendigo so I am also looking for roommates who don't mind him being over on the weekends (dw we're super considerate!). Looking for a home with great people! It's a plus if you have a puppy 🐶 I had to leave my little shihtzu in QLD. I'm open to any location 15-20 minutes from the CBD. Feel free to send me a message.
Hi! My name is Zack. I'm 24 years old and I'm currently seeking a private room in a share house. I work full time as a professional house painter and I'm really passionate about it. I love making things look beautiful again! I work during the day and sometimes weekends too. But I'm not just a worker, I love to party and go to as many festivals as I can which I plan to really get into this year. I'm really into psychedelic trance and other tripped out music that makes you feel like your in another dimension as I feel like I am most the time anyway. From what I know from family, friends and co-workers I am a fun, friendly and loyal person. I really enjoy other peoples company but acknowledge and respect the occasional need for alone time. I respect the fact that when you're living with other people you need to pick up after yourself and look after the house so I have no problem with that. I also love to cook, especially for others. Ready to move asap so please let me know.
I'm a 30 year-old employment lawyer looking to move in with 2 or 3 other professionals of a similar age. I love good food, good wine/beer, going out with friends, cycling, running and salsa dancing. I work hard and really enjoy lots of exercise and sleep so am looking for a quiet house, but I also enjoy socialising so would definitely be up for dinners/drinks/cups of tea when at home.
I'm an architect and have recently moved to Melbourne for work. I'm looking for some friendly, relaxed and sociable flatmates.
Hi there, my name's Reena. I'm an Australian (of South Asian heritage). I've been living in the UK for the last two years and returned to Melbourne about 4 months ago, during which time I've being doing paralegal work for a contracts department as a stopgap (and yes that job was as dull as it sounds!). I'm going to start a new job at Melbourne Uni soon and would really like to live in either Collingwood and Abbotsford. I'd like to move in with housemates that are at least 26ish and not crazy. In London I had a housemate who would whatsapp me photos of grains of rice that I had supposedly left on the kitchen bench the night before. I would like housemates that are not like that guy. I'm a tidy person, considerate and very laid-back. I tend to need some time to myself to write and read but am social too. My interests include: writing, comedy, going to talks, funny TV (I am basically a younger, ethnic version of Liz Lemon), film festivals, spanish and going to the nova.

Hey, my name is Nikki. I am 23 years old and come from Chester in England! I am looking for accommodation from approximately the 28th December. My aim is to live and work in Melbourne and I am looking for some great flat mates to live and socialise with. I am hardworking but also very outgoing. During the week I aim to be in a full time job but do enjoy having a quiet drink in the evenings after a hard days work, a glass of wine or gin and tonic whilst having a chat or watching TV goes down a treat. At the weekends I like to get out of the house/flat and socialise. I'm a very clean and tidy individual and respect the need for personal space. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
Hi there, my name is Mary, I moved over to Melbourne from Perth last year for a new job and a new adventure in life :) I work full time in the CBD. I am happy, easy going and respectful. Looking for a share house either close to the CBD or with very easy access to the public transport. I am into running and pilates, healthy eating (most of the time anyway!), music, movies, hanging out and doing fun stuff around town including the odd night out. I have a very easygoing low maintenance cat!

Easy going, fun and friendly looking for cool liveable housemates to possibly start a new sharehouse or join a good existing one. I've been back in Melbourne just under a year having lived in London and travelled around the world for 3 years. I'm looking for some chilled but social housemates! Have done the houseshare thing before and made some awesome mates from it! As long as you're social, respectful and up for a good time we'll get along fine! I work full time in the city so anywhere inner northern suburbs is ideal.
20 year old from Scotland. I am very out-going, friendly and easy to get along with. I have been travelling Australia since August 2015 and been in Melbourne since December 2015. I am currently working full-time in the city and plan to be in Melbourne until my visa expires which is 02/08/2017 I enjoy a night out at weekends and sociable drinks after work (sometimes) .. this could be a bottle of wine at home or sociable drinks at the pub. I also love meeting new people. I love going out for brunch, dinner & drinks and also looove to do some shopping when i don't have enough money!!! I have lived in a few other house shares, so i am well trained at keeping the place clean and tidy and respecting that other people need their space and time alone too. Preferably looking for a private room. Also looking to move in asap.
Hiii :) Happy, social human. Working as Assistant Manager at The Body Shop, but will be studying Nursing at ACU in Feb. Like to watch TV, eat, yoga, chat, have a beer and occasionally I go out to see a band or party down. I'm clean, tidy and respectful. Super happy to hang out and have a drink but also understand that everyone needs their alone time :)
PLEASE NOTE: I am looking for TWO rooms - a bedroom and an additional sunroom/study/studio/shed from which I could teach singing students 3 days a week. Please do not contact me if your place doesn't have this possibility! and PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME IF YOUR PLACE IS OUTSIDE OF MY LISTED AREAS. I am not interested. Read below for more details... My name is Becca, I’m 27, I’m from Tassie originally but been in Melbourne since Feb last year :) I work a few different jobs: I’m an artist (mostly musician but do a bunch of other kinds of arts too). I’m a self-employed voice coach, teaching technique for singing and speech (but mostly singing) 3 days a week. I work 1 day a week at Mork Chocolate Brewhouse in North Melbourne (from which I bring home tasty treats sometimes!), 2 nights a week at Open Studio in Northcote, am also currently applying for more/new jobs. I also model for life drawing classes and sometimes do other random odd jobs here and there. I’m looking for a home, not just a house; I am a busy person who does my own thing a lot and has a lot of projects I’m working on, so I’m not wanting to live out of each other’s pockets, but I also want to have a place where we hang a bit in the communal areas in the evenings and chat about our days or talk shit, cook and eat together now and then, hang out in the sun on good days and have a beer. In my current house there isn’t much of a good shared lounge area and everyone just kind of lives in their rooms all the time and I am craving a little bit more of a casual family vibe. I don’t smoke, I’ve never been late on rent or bills, I like to be energy usage conscious though not anally-so, I like to try to be good to the environment. I’m great at cleaning and I’m house-proud; I am happiest when my place is looking clean and beautiful, I like indoor plants, sunshine, fresh air, and putting up art :) I’m often singing but I’m told I’m good at it, I like to put on loud music and dance around the house when I’m home alone or if someone wants to dance with, but am also very capable of quieting the fuck down when people need to sleep/concentrate. I’m silly, playful, and affectionate, but also a proper grown up. Ideally I’m looking for a place which has a sunroom/study/spare room/office where I would be able to set up my desk and teach my voice students from. I teach about 3 days a week, 5 hours maximum, finishing by 8pm at the latest (a lot of the time a lot less/earlier). Totally keen to make said teaching room also a shared art room and useable by anyone else at times when I’m not teaching! Or happy to pay a little extra rent for the use of the extra room. I've put $240 per week as max budget but I am really hoping to get less than that. I'm currently paying $200/week.
Hi, i'm a danish girl age 20 and I'm coming to Melbourne at the end of January on a working holiday visa. I'm a very social person and look forward to making new friends during my stay but also enjoy my privacy! I've been studying fine arts in Denmark at a college with 80 students aged 17-65. I am used to living in close proximity to others, keeping things tidy and getting along with different people.
I'm an Italian female 35 yo that study English for 6 months near the Southern cross station. I' m searching a room with window and furnished. I Am tidy and sociable and I'm searching and house here to relax me after an hard day with respectful roommate😊
Hi there guys! I will be finishing off my atmospheric science degree at Monash university in 2017 and am looking to move into or start up a share house with some splendidly fun people sometime in January. I like to spend my spare time going out for drinks and a boogie, reading, painting, playing guitar, hiking, netflixing, keeping fit and having deep discussions about the world whilst playing various board/card games. I also work part time which means that there isn’t going to be any problems when it comes to paying bills on time. I am a really chilled out person, the only time you might see me stressed is the day before an exam or during certain footy games (go dees). Maintaining a clean household is something that I think I am quite good at and I would also love to could cook a meal every now and then for everyone. I do not have any pets but it would be great to live with people who do. I do have a small car hence I need a place with parking, but it comes with the advantage of free lifts around town for you guys. I have also been told I can be a humorous person, but I’ll let you be the judge of that. I can furnish my own room but I do not have any other large appliances/couches unfortunately. I did have a vacuum cleaner but I sold it, all it was doing was gathering dust. That one’s for free. Message me any questions you may have. Thanks guys :)
Hey I am Nick, 26 years old, marketing professional working with a clothing brand, I am friendly and easy to get along with, Work full time during the week and weekends I usually spend with family / friends - looking to make a few new friends while living in a clean and safe space, Cleanliness and hygiene are important to me - I actually enjoy cleaning / cooking :) Feel free to msg if you want to chat further, Cheers !
I'm looking at finding a room within a current house/apartment. I'm looking to make wherever I am a home with similar people who are easy going and love to have a laugh! I'm friendly, clean, easy going, love a bit of banter, I'm social however during the week I tend to keep it pretty low key with gym, netflix and of course Bachie nights (until it returns next year now unfortunately). I like to explore on the weekends, hang out with friends, have a few drinks and I don't mind pizza & beer Fridays on the occasion. I work in the city in Events from 9 - 6 weekdays. Anyway send a message if you're interested :)
My previous housemates describe me as 'super-cruisy' and fun, I'm always smiling and happy to socialise over a good barbeque with a beer. During the week I work hard as a project manager for a consulting company and spend my weekends on adventures or snowboarding/skating/motocross. Very clean and respectful of where I live and looking for housemates who are similar minded.
Easy-going lad from Manchester, England. Been living in Melbourne for 5 months now. Working for a direct sales and marketing company which is where I spend most of my time but always up for social drinks or a night in with housemates! Generally tidy and will contribute to keep everything clean. Give me a message if you want to meet-up to discuss living arrangements!
Hi my name is Tom and I'm a Registered Nurse with permanent employment starting in March. I've lived in share houses for the last 4 years and have always been up to date with bills and rent. Incredibly respectful of personal space and considerate of different working hours and looking for someone who is the same. I always keep common areas clean and tidy and I'm friendly and enjoy the odd chat/drink/dinner. I also come with a decent coffee machine and furniture as well if needed. At the moment I'm rather flexible with the move date. I do love my down time when not working but I'd love to find someone thats willing to have dinner/drinks with me and/or go exploring the city with as I will be new to the area :) I will also need a place with a car port as I'll be commuting to work in Box Hill.
Hey! My name is Nick and I work full-time at IKEA—so if we need new furniture built, I'm your guy :) I'm 33, single, and I like to think fairly normal. I play sport, have a healthy collection of DVDs, and enjoy a social cider. I'm very neat and house-proud, and looking to find a fun flatmate to share with. I also come free with two adorable and affectionate cats. Cheers.
Hi all, My names Zoe. I am a full time student studying a Bachelor of Communication Design at Monash at the Caulfield campus (starting back at the end of February) I am a very tidy and friendly person. I am always up for sharing a dinner with flatmates but also respect that everyone needs their own space.
Hi I'm Sam I'm a 31 year old tradesman. I'm clean and tidy, I love to cook and clean! lol. I'm fun and social, but really quiet during the week. I like the odd night out. Don't really watch TV I like to read and listen to music instead. If you're interested in meeting me to view your property just send me a message and I will get back to you at my earliest convenience.
After living in Sydney for the last few years with a stint in NY, I'm returning to Melbourne and hoping to find or create a sharehouse with like minded people. I'm active and enjoy staying fit by running, gym and afl but equally enjoy a good episode of GOT with a wine. I love to cook and also enjoy checking out new restaurants, live music and would enjoy coming home for a yarn or even head to the local for the occasional drink or two. I'm only looking at awesome houses & apartments as I am well past student style accommodation. Having enjoyed some great sharehouses over the years - it'd be great to create a nice place with some good housemates to call home!
Hi. I've just graduated from Victorian College of the Arts after studying music composition. I'm taking a year off to work on some music and save some money before I go back and study my Masters in Architecutre. I have two part-time jobs, but do a lot of my composing from home (not as noisy as you'd think. I play a digital piano, and record vocals or noises when I know people are out or have said they don't mind). I love a good netflix binge, and spending time going to gigs or walking my dog. I have a dalmatian, Lottie, who is easy going, well trained, and gets along great with all people and other dogs as well. She's super cuddly, and will love you unconditionally. I take pride in where I live, and what I do, and if there's anything else you'd like to know, don't be afraid to ask! Amy
Hi there! My name is Maddie, I'm in my mid twenties and I work full time as a primary school teacher. I am friendly, easy going and very respectful of others. I love all things travel and language related, art, tea, baking, films, music, keeping active and good food with friends. I have lived in share houses before and am looking for a friendly, homely and caring household. Somewhere that feels like a home rather than just a house and where the housemates enjoy each other’s company, sometimes sharing a meal, a drink, watching a movie together etc. I am a very tidy person and value a clean home so I am looking for housemates who are the same and share the cleaning. I am pretty busy during the week so am looking for a considerate and fairly quiet household to come home to but also one where you can relax in good company when work is not too hectic. If these sound like the things you value too then I'd love to hear from you!
Hey , I am from California, 31 years young, and been living in Melbourne for 4 years. Looking for a friendly warm home with chilled wonderful people. I am into the outdoors, music, rock climbing, surfing and camping and the odd festival. The following would be some good indicators we would be a good match: - Flatmates that hang out a bit at home or outside on occasion - Kitchen is full of delicious smells and occasional dinner gatherings (I once opened an Outback Steakhouse in the middle of the desert, opened from 4am-7am serving sous-vide roo sliders) - House is not full of couch potatoes in front of the TV - Clean house with uncluttered common areas I design user experiences in health technology and have no problems paying rent on time and helping with any tech needs. In my free time I practice acupuncture/massage and design brass jewelry. Warm Regards Eric
hello! I'm looking for a private room to rent in the Hawthorn/Kew/Richmond/Abbotsford area. I'm easy going, and enjoying reading, baking and yoga. On my weekends I like to spend time outside at the park or beach with my family and friends. I am neat and tidy, looking for a quiet household up until late June 2017. Let me know if I could be your next housemate!
Hello potential housemate, I am a friendly, respectful and housetrained Melburnian interested in renting in the inner north and/or east. About me, I've just graduated from uni and am about to start a full-time job as a management consultant (read: will pay rent on time every time). I love a good conversation about anything and nothing, travelling (have been on exchange in Hong Kong and France, currently in Japan), try to live a minimalist/sustainable life and dabble in film photography. Would love to hear about you and your place. Hope to hear from you soon :) Cheers, Nina
Hey guys, I have over 30 positive airbnb reviews. My favourite says, "Kevin is the most uncomplicated guest we've ever had". That sums me up pretty well. I've lived and stayed in everything from vans, tents, tree houses, hostels, share houses and mansions while visiting 30 different countries, and don't really have complaints about any of it. I like to think this helped make me very adaptable and considerate. My room isn't always spotless but I always will leave communal areas as I find them. And I won't leave dishes in the sink for days or even overnight. I'm sociable to the point where I like talking to strangers but I know when to give people their space because I like mine too. I'm 31, from Sydney and am moving to Melbourne (around 9/1/17) because I've just been offered my dream job at the top ad agency in Oz. Outside of all this, I cook, take photos and run a lot (like, A LOT). Ideally, I'm looking to live with 2-3 other, similarly-aged people who are just as optimistic and excited about being in Melbourne as I am. And I don't care if you're male, female, gay, straight, green or purple - I'm uncomplicated like that :) But enough about me. Tell me about you.
Open minded, friendly guy. I study masters at Deakin and work part time at Coles Express. Will be no delays in payments regarding rent or bills. I like to keep the house clean. I can cook as well! Love pets (I don't have one though). In general, a chilled out person who minds his own business. Looking for a house in suburbs such as Richmond, Hawthorn, Kew, Abbotsford, Glenferrie, Camberwell, Auburn, Burnley and Burwood. Send a message if you have a vacancy. Cheerio!
New to Melbourne, working in Oakleigh. I work a typical 9-5 in the media. I am single. I don't drink or smoke and am looking for a place to live near work. I keep my area and shared spaces clean.
I'm clean, easy going and I like to cook. Looking for something cheap near the city, don't need much space, location is more important to me than anything.
Gavin, 24 - Working full-time in the Skydive industry. - Easy going, generally quiet but enjoy being social too. - Netflix and Spotify addict. - Very clean, considerate of others and happy to help out with anything around the house (or elsewhere). - Some general interests and hobbies of mine include: cooking, binge-watching netflix shows, creating and maintaining way too many spotify playlists, live music, chilling out at home, skydiving, food, snacks, etc. Currently on holiday in Europe until Jan 30th so my Aus number isn't reachable. Hey guys, I'm a clean and tidy person, especially in the bathroom and kitchen. Happy to keep to myself, but also appreciate a sociable gin and soda after work. I work as a graphic designer on Smith St, and play softball and tennis during the week. Im looking for a nice, chilled out flat... Probably something with only one or two other people. Hope to hear from you soon!
Moved to Melb a year ago, went to uni in California, mom's from Shanghai, dad from Coffs Harbour area. Hoping to start studying Chinese medicine, also trying to get into med school.
