Just a decent, tidy and busy guy. Easy to get along with and working full-time in IT. Able to cook, enjoy having a clean house and like doing things with my housemates. In my spare time happy to turn my hand at anything, but you'll mostly find me at the gym or finding something to do with friends/housemates (i.e you 🤗) Come equipped with a range of whitegoods(can be chucked in storage if not needed) and other household essentials. Ready to move in anytime from now :)
Hi folks, I'm Eddy and having lived in Melbourne all my life, I'm finally branching out a bit! I'll be working full time as a public servant but also be studying at the same time at Canberra Institute of Tech. I'd say I'm an agreeable person who makes sure to keep a clean space. I love to meet new people and am always down for a nice hang out, but I also make sure everyone has their own time, space and privacy as that is something I value as well. As for things I like to do, I'm a fan of fast cars, motorcycles and stretching that cardio on some great runs while some of my more sedate hobbies are writing stories and going stargazing. I will be in Canberra for inspections from the 20th Jan and targeting a move between 27th to 31st Jan.
Hi there! My name is Alex and I'm a full time public servant working in Woden. Im originally from West Australia. I'm a quiet, tidy type who doesn't object to noise an activity around me. I have many hobbies but my main ones are cooking, art, gem cutting and horse riding. I own my own horse so I'm generally out from sunrise to sunset most weeknights - I am very respectful of keeping the noise down for those non-early risers! I'm looking to move to a new place before Christmas and I have based my search on places close to work (Woden Valley) or close to my horse (Bruce/Belconnen area). While I don't mind street parking, if it's all that's available I would like to have parking that isn't time limited throughout the day as I walk or commute to work. Hope to hear from you soon! Edit: apologies for my terrible profile photo, I'm not good with them at the best of times.
Hi I'm Lachlan. I am a university student due to move from uni accommodation. I have lived in a few different shared living places and found lasting friends in my roommates over that time. I would love to socialise with the people I am living with but also appreciate the need personal space. For the larger part of my spare time I am a gamer. What I am generally looking for in my roommates are some chilled out people who would also be keen to build a great relationship with their new roomie and can keep a cool head when the thermostat changes ;) If the bio's only got you halfway there or you just want to meet me, please feel free to contact me; I'd be happy to come introduce myself!
Hello! My name is Zina. Ideally, I'm looking to share a place with one other roommate or two if I can have my own ensuite. I am clean and tidy and respect other peoples belongings and space, but also sociable and friendly. I'm looking to share a place with people who share my values in maintaining a tidy environment and who are conscious of not making loud noise at night (for example, throwing parties all the time or playing loud music).
Belgian student, will be running an internship at ER sports physiotherapy in Canberra and visiting NZ and Australia afterwards. Looking for some roomies to share costs and discover Australia.
Looking for a sharehouse somewhere in Canberra. At the moment I’m working in retail permanent part-time, but sometimes up to 40 hours a week, and I love to go hiking on my days off, so I’m not home a lot anyway, but when I am, I love to just chill and watch Netflix and I also enjoy cooking. I’m a clean, tidy and easy going person :)
I've spent the last couple of years walking from the bottom of Tasmania to Central NSW (minus the Bass Strait of course). Now I am looking to swap out the tent life in the bush for the city life. I work as a freelance software developer. I am in a van now, and thus it will be my "room". So if you have some driveway/yard space, and are looking to reduce your rent, this would be an ideal arrangement. All I require is kitchen and bathroom use. Thanks!
Hello, I'm Ben. I consider myself to be a fairly regular 26 year old male. Love getting along with people and open minded. Canberra born and bred. Bit of a Jack of all trades. Trying to get back into keeping active after joining the public service. Do a bit of gaming (Won't chew up too much bandwidth though). I also enjoy a drink and being social, although I'm usually the quiet one in a group. Clean and tidy around the house especially in shared areas. More of a 'clean up after myself' type rather than 'everyone has their turn' but I'm flexible and will fit in with established practices. Not much of a cook but willing to learn. Will do my fair share of housework. Would love to find a place with flat mates that appreciate a really friendly vibe. Would prefer to have a 'trial period' but would love to find the right place to stay at for longer. Cheers,
Easy going, work most of the time, I like things tidy and clean, always up for a laugh and a chat. I’m responsible and will respect your space and privacy as well as any guest you may have.
Hi! I'm a nineteen year old gal looking to live with someone of the same/similar age who’s not too fussed about a ‘quite’ home - obviously we all need our quite time which I completely respect however I’d like us to both feel comfortable about having friends over. I work full time M-F and love exploring new things, whether that be a new TV show or a new dinner spot. I’m super friendly (or so I’ve been told) and am pretty clean. Open to existing rooms (private, no share room enquires thanks!) or teaming up with someone and finding a place on Domain.
Hi, I'm Hannah and I am on the search for a great share house or group of people to move in with. Ill be making the move to Canberra in 2020 to start a graduate program with the federal government. Originally from Tassie, I moved to Melbourne for uni over 5 years ago and I am excited to start this next chapter in Canberra. In my free time you will often catch me out and about with friends sharing good food and a few wines or at the odd festival. I also enjoy going for walks and the odd Netflix/reality TV binge. I'm easy going and love a chat at the end of the day, but also understand and respect the need for privacy and personal space. I have lived within both share houses and apartments for the last 5 years, so I understand the need to be clean, tidy and to respect our home. I Ideally I would love to find something by the end of the year/first two weeks of Jan. I'm flexible on location as long as I'm near transport and not to far from the city. I'm more looking for great company so if I sound like someone that might fit into your current home, or someone that you might like to join up with send me a message. PS only looking for a unfurnished room :)
looking for someone who can communicate- is interested just as much in listening as in talking; is in late 40's, early to mid 50's; is open-minded with respect to alternative healing modalities such as kinesiology and reiki, and is also open-minded to life being lived on a more spiritual level- meditation, energetic work. I enjoy swimming and pilates. I love dancing, history, making historical costumes, arts and crafts. I am starting to learn about opals and gemstones-where to find them and then how to cut and polish them. I am a tutor for literacy and numeracy- helping people who learn in different ways. I am generally quiet, love music, learning about different cultures, and want to explore Australia in a year or two. I am trustworthy, reliable and expect the same in a house mate, especially regarding rent and bills.
Hello! My name's Hayley and I'm a 24 year-old professional musician looking to move out of home. I've been in the same place for 24 years and need a change! The life of a musician is a busy one, so lots of early starts and late nights so you likely won't even see too much of me! However, I do love the occasional wine or a sneaky G&T and a chat. Looking to move out ASAP and very excited about it. Looking for places around the CBD and potentially around the parliamentary triangle.
I'm moving to Canberra for work in mid-December as an engineer in the public service and am looking for a room in a chill share house where I can feel at home. I like doing my own thing but enjoy having a chat/dinner as well. I've lived in share-houses for the past 5 years and am just looking for another good one. I'm a very active person and love playing tennis and bike riding, but also like hanging out and playing a board game.
Working in Canberra but home on the weekends to the Snowy Mountains. Consulting with Deloitte. Ideally looking for 3 to 4 nights a week only and a place to store some stuff in between. Laundry etc will be travelling back and forth with me when I head home. Anyone who has a property that would be happy to be flexible on stays during the week that can provide me with my own room and ensuite bathroom, with shared bills, for around $150 per week (or flex to pay $50 per night for extra stays during the week) would be amazing. I'm 55, easy to live with, tidy and clean and like my own space. I do enjoy a glass (or 2) of wine in the evenings and love cooking too. Back home I have dogs, cats, rescue brumbys and a variety of other horse breeds. Oh, and a husband :-) If you happen to have pets it is an added bonus for me as I will be missing mine !
