Hey there...I'm moving to Canberra in May and I'm looking for somewhere awesome to call home. I have a 6 year old cat who moved with me from New Zealand and I will be working full time in the health sector. I will be working in Garran so I am looking for somewhere that is no more than 20-30 mins drive away. Outside of work I love hiking, going for weekend drives and spending time with my friends and family.
I am 35 years old and work full time as an engineer. I am easy going and get along with most people. I am up for having a chat and hanging out with housemates sometimes, though I am pretty independent. I am tidy, clean and respectful of others. I'm a non-smoker, don't have any pets and am not into having raging house parties. I am looking for a room close to Deakin for convenience.
Hey Guys, I just finished a Bachelor of Nursing and I am due to start full-time at Canberra Hospital in August as a registered nurse. Currently working part-time at Canberra Hospital. I have an 18month told Beagle x Kelpie called Nessie, she is my fur baby, very loving, playful and energetic. I am a social person but also love some quiet time on my own from time to time! Sian :)
Looking for some cool peeps to live with! Work in Civic so inner North would be great, but I'm fairly flexible. :) About me: - Moved the Canberra from Brisbane in August - INTJ - Tidy, but not OCD clean - Reliable with bills etc - Bearded - Chill AF - Not adverse to a couple of wines after work (and a few more on weekends) Who I’m looking to live with: - Preferably more than just one other person. But I don't mind living with just one person either. - People who are fun - People who are relaxed - People who are open to hanging out occasionally Place I’m looking for: - Location wise I’m looking at Civic, Inner North and Woden area. - Furnished (I’ve only got my own bedroom furniture as well as some kitchen stuff) - Heating/cooling (preferable) - Own bathroom (preferable) - Parking (preferable) - Built in wardrobe (preferable) - Internet Access (MUST) I'm pretty flexible around the place I live so if I sound like someone you could live with, and your place sounds perfect for me, let me know! Cheers Luke
I am a 37 year old professional. I am neat, tidy and peaceful. I am used to living with housemates and being flexible and accommodating. I am happy to provide references of past landlords.
I am 23 years old working full-time in Deakin. I play many different sports which keeps me out at training at least 2 nights a week and one day on a weekend. I also enjoy spending my time catching up with friends and out and about. I am extremely easy going, quiet, and clean. I keep mostly to myself, but am also usually up for a chat about any topic you can think of.
We love to keep our spaces clean and if you choose to team up with us, you will be coming back to a clean and fresh common space everyday. Basic hygiene will be well taken care of. You might even be in for home cooked food (baked, grilled and steamed) and the occasional pan-fried. Socially, we can be both self-contained and sociable, depending on your preference. I am into social sector and will be actively volunteering in Canberra. David has a background in writing, IT and policy and will be reentering the Australia workforce.
I'm Vishaka and I am looking for a shared accomodation nearby city. I work part-time. I am a neat and a tidy person and likes to keep things in order. I love socialising and hanging around with people. I am an easy going person.

Lawyer. Economist. Veteran Canberran who went to ANU and worked at AGD and private law in Canberra. Been around share houses since 2012 but spent the last 6 months in Africa.
I'm clean and tidy, easy to get along with, considerate of others, know how to respect privacy but enjoy being social with house mates. Interests are hiking, photography, live music and I'm fairly good at trivia. I am from Wollongong and starting a permanent full-time job in the near future. Looking to move in the next two weeks. I have rented in both Australia and Canada in past :)
Hi! I'm moving to Canberra for a job and looking for a place to live. I'm clean, tidy and a non-smoker. Happy to hang out with my roommates, but also respect the need for privacy. I'm also happy to share meals and do my share of the cleaning. I look forward to hearing from you. Shelley
I consider myself to be clean, honest, considerate, courteous, responsible, capable, non judgemental and mature for my age. I get on well and feel comfortable with people of all ages and from all walks of life. I enjoy both my own time to rest and recharge as well as socialising when possible. I have been fortunate enough to secure an apprenticeship at the place I wished to work at near the Kingston foreshore. My job and its location are excellent as are my co-workers. We get on very well and like to get together and socialise occasionally. So I am happy, content, easy going and focused on my job and future. I just need to be able to find a place to share with like minded people, much closer to work, as soon as possible, in order to avoid the 3hr per day commute that has plagued me for the last 11 months (and my life would be almost perfect).
I have recently returned to Canberra after living for the last eight years in New Caledonia and I am looking to re-establish myself back in Australia. I am a 46 years old dad of two and I have been the primary parent for most of their lives. My children are currently in New Caledonia with their mum until the end of the school year so I am own my own. I'm a friendly and easy going person who looks and feels a lot younger than my age suggests..most of the time :) I am a photographer and like sport, especially soccer and AFL but nearly any sport will do. I am looking to get back to the gym once I am settled. I am working full-time, Monday to Friday, for a government department in Civic.
I'm a professional and employed gentleman.I am very considerate of others,I love cleaning, cooking, sharing meals and good conversation over a beverage. Im very tolerant ,patient and non judgemental.I communicate well and am kind and personable. I like helping and care about all life forms.I get along well with just about anyone and am your average Joe Shmoe. I can be sometimes clumsy, humerous and light hearted.I have even been told I'm somewhat aesthetically not too bad. I can fix just about anything around the house and in general. I have a "can do "attitude. I'm am thoughtful and respectful of others privacy and belongings. I have a pet I'd like to live with me. She is a very placid/gentle and calm 3-4 year old English mastiff. She is house and potty trained. She doesn't mess the house. She doesn't bark, lick or jump on people,Notre is she allowed on couches or human beds. She gets along with other dogs, cats and people and is very calm and sweet natured. I take great care of her ,she is clean, smells good and walked daily even tho she's pretty lazy and happy just to sleep between meals. That's kinda me in a nutshell Thanks for taking the time to consider me and I look forward to meeting you and our new home soon.
So.. I am 27 and moved to Canberra in last November. I currently work at ACT Health. I always see life very positive with a smile . Depending upon what you want me to be, I can either be a great friend or a good housemate (or both) . But I am a bad cook. Drawback of being spoon-fed all my life by my parents. So if you are my housemate you will surely see the funny side of my cooking miseries. I do not smoke or drink alcohol. Yep.. I am boring. But hey it is always nice to have a sober housemate friend who can drive. I am a movie buff and always up for Netflix, Movies and dinner with my mates.
I'm a pretty chill country girl whos into fitness and looking to move in somewhere relatively relaxed, I admit, I don't go out every night and make a fool of myself haha. I'm a mid twenties adult in a young body. I can promise to always do my share of chores, keep to myself and of course not fight for the TV remote. I literally have 5 boxes of stuff to my name and am just asking for a chance.
I'm currently living in Wagga Wagga in my final year of radiation therapy but am also a qualified beauty therapist and I'm originally from Hobart, Tasmania. I love cooking, particularly yummy dinners and enjoy a good chat every now and then but also respect peoples privacy.
A little about me. I'm 22 years old and I've recently moved down from Sydney to work full time in the public service (shocker I know). The goal is to move into a respectfully social share house. I have no pets, just me, my computer and my Netflix account, which I will let you use. I will very much stay out of your hair during the work week, and am open to social weekends, or chilled out weekends.
My name is Lili and I'm an international student here. Currently studying diploma in disability and also working in disability community since December. I moved here last year October. I work everyday. I'm clean and respectful and tidy.
*Seeking a room within 3km of Phillip* I'm a holistic counselling and reiki student alongside working at a flotation centre, thus I live a reasonably quiet life. I rarely have guests over to my home (usually my social activities occur outside of the house). I'm quiet, tidy, respectful of others privacy and am really just seeking a quiet location with lovely people while I save for a rental of my own (3-6 months). If any of this sounds good to you, I'd love to hear from you.
