Nice couple looking for a place to settle. We are both respectful and clean. Originally from Sydney myself and Charlotte is from a new citizen originally from France. Looking for more space in general, We're looking for a place for at least a year and call home:). Working full time and Charlotte works/studies.
I am doing this add for a friend. Him and his partner have just recently moved down to Canberra and are looking for a space to stay at. They have a pet dog. Clean and tidy, nice and great to get along with. we would be really grateful or the Help
We are Claire (27, full time scientist) and Chilli (7, full time couch potato) and our parents have finally sold up the house, so we are looking for somewhere to live...from late August to Early September 2018. Claire has been renting/share-housing since 2014, and Chilli is newer to the game but did so in 2016. A simple description of of us is boring - so clean, tidy, early risers with nanna-bed times who enjoy walkies. Claire is your average human - talks, exercises out of necessity, watches TV (mostly ABC), likes board games and escape rooms, is a dishwasher stacker/unstacker enthusiast, a good cook and an average baker. Chilli is housetrained and all round “good boy” (kid, dog + cat friendly - with NSW Green Collar) whose special skills include sleeping, collecting (soft toys, the occasional cushion), smooching and reclaiming unsupervised food... We spend most weekends (Fri night-Sun) in Sydney with Luke (Claire's husband + Chilli's dad) - Chilli goes too, but we spend about 1 weekend a month in town - and it'd be cool if you'd be okay with the occasional visit by Luke. We would like an unfurnished room, and do have some additional furniture so happy to share or loose it. Flexible with anywhere in Canberra/Queanbeyan, commutable to Deakin. Preferably we’d like you to like indoor dogs because Chilli hates the outdoors. There is the possibility for Chilli to live with his dad + fur siblings....but we'd prefer to be together.
I work Full time non-smoker, CLEAN, respectful, I guess a little sociable but still appreciates their own time. I am also honest, easy going and most of all have common sense and genuine respect for belongings and items!! Basically all that good stuff we want every flatmate to be : )
Quiet and self contained, outdoor smoker. I have an outside dog, German Shepherd cross. I have a project car, but having a lock up garage for me to work on the car is a nice to have, not necessarily a need to have
*** NOT ACTIVELY LOOKING *** I am a full time working professional in the govt sector. Easy going and friendly. Clean and tidy person and like the same. I am vegetarian but do not mind if you are not. Love outdoors, doing yoga and meditation. Teach kids and adults yoga. Family is in Brisbane so travel often to Brisbane some weekends. Do not smoke or drink alcohol. Genuine care for people and animals.
I'm a super easy going, friendly and fun loving person. Just returned to Oz after living overseas for about 2 years, starting a 12 month contract in Canberra beginning of August. Enjoy the outdoors, exploring new places or just hanging out listening to music over a drink or two. Looking for flatmates who are like minded, like a laugh but also appreciate the need for solo/rebooting time.
I'm a pretty chilled guy, if I'm not working you'll probably find me gaming or binging Netflix, I'm fairly social but do like my own space, love to cook and I'm pretty tidy, currently applying for 2-3 bedroom townhouse looking for someone to rent with before I sign
Back in Canberra after a while away. Looking for a place asap. I'm a sparky for a NSW government utility. Enjoy going out for a couple of drinks every now and then, but also like a bit of peace and quiet and a cheeky Netflix binge. I'm tidy, respectful of others and easy to get along with, and half decent in the kitchen too.
I’m clean and neat but chill. I’m easy to get along with, enjoy having a chat with my flatmates but also time to myself. I’m a part time student & I work. I also do some volunteer work and play sport.
Easy going, I like to keep things tidy but nothing crazy. Looking for chill, like minded people. I am always down for making new friends and hanging out but also love my own space and will respect yours!
Hi everyone, I'm Tom, I work in the APS in IT in Greenway and have been in Canberra for 8 months. My current housemate wants to move out in the next month and I'd prefer to find a new place rather than try and find a new housemate - as such I'd be looking to move around the end of July/Start of August. I'm a very considerate housemate and will try and fit in with an existing household, I like to keep things clean but I'm not crazy with it. I'd prefer to live with people around my age to have a bit of a homely vibe where we can hang out. I like singing, lifting, photography, discussions and while I don't drink much anymore am still partial to a few beers every now and then. Would prefer something close to amenities. Secure parking is preferred and off-street parking required (I'm 25 and just bought a brand new car and insurance otherwise is super expensive :'( ) If you have/know of something that might be suitable, message me. Cheers, Tom.
I am very quiet person and love privacy and is very respectful of others as well. I am very easy going. I just except people to clean the mess after them thats it. I am pretty much working all the time and in free time I like to watch TV or going out with my friends. I am up for conversation if needed.
I'm a current honours student at ANU studying Psychology and working part time in functions. I'm open to pretty much any housing situation. In my spare time I enjoy reading, the gym and the odd video game.
I am a youthful 55yrs post-surgery Transgender person who is very easy going. I'm currently at University of Canberra studying Bch Of Public Health. I am mostly seeking to join an existing sharehouse with space, although starting a new share property is an option for me too. Just 2-4 people including me would be preferable. I would be willing to sign-up to a joint lease with other tenants if necessary. I can contribute furniture to the property, although I don't have a dining suite or a lounge suite. Alternatively, I can place unused items in a dry, lockup garage if available. * Kitchen = large twin door fridge, microwave and just about every cooking item you could want! * Living = large timber pieces including wall units, bookcase, hallway table and entertainment unit (for television, etc). * Laundry = front loading washing machine, ironing board, etc. * Outside = lawn mower, whipper snipper, water hose, etc. * Bedroom = I have a six piece timber bedroom setting. I have an existing NBN Internet contract with unlimited data and a 100mb speed connection. It also includes the Optus 'Fetch' TV with 6 channels and access to netflix, etc. If your place already has an internet service, I may be able to transfer my account to other tenants in the property where I currently live. I am available to move-in to a new property quite soon - within two/three weeks depending on mutual circumstances. My share of any rent would be $200 per week maximum (I am a Uni student after all.) I'd prefer a property that is in good condition and located within reasonable travel distance to the University of Canberra. But i'm flexible for the 'right' property. That's it !!! Hit me up if you have a large bedroom in a sharehome that may be suitable.
29 year old professional, fresh off the plane from Perth. Looking for a place reasonably central to the city or inner south. I have an ancient cat who keeps to herself and won’t bother anyone. Sociable, but too old to hit the clubs every night!
Currently living in Darwin but I've recently been offered a full-time job in Canberra in the public service sector and need to find a place to live. I study part-time online with RMIT as well so need a decent internet connection for that (I'm lying, I need it for my Overwatch addiction), I enjoy cooking, spending time with friends as well as making new ones and I've recently started attending a gym - trying to live my best life :P I am a consistent person, which means I don't fail on the rent and I don't flake on plans with other tenants I'm clean and tidy, I especially love a clean kitchen and like to keep my stuff neat to avoid undue stress in a household as the kitchen is the most shared place in a house. I love talking to people and hanging out but I also understand the need for space, and I myself enjoy my privacy and quiet time. I believe I'm a responsible housemate and encourage open communication between all tenants to make sure everybody is happy with living arrangements.
Hello! I am a 26 year old, young professional female who works full time. I am originally from Sydney, and moved to Canberra in 2015; working for both the government and non for profit sector. In August 2017, I decided to take a year off work to travel the world. Over the last 12 months, I have been abroad in Latin America, New Zealand, India and Iran. I have had many great adventures, but sadly out of money and time so headed back to our nations capital (just in time for winter, yay!). I have lived in two wonderful sharehouses in Canberra. I am a respectful and social housemate; I am bubby and positive, and would love housemates I could share a glass of wine or dinner with, but I equally need some space as well as downtime! I am quite social, and would love to have a homely space that I feel comfortable having friends over every now and then. I am very tidy, and consider myself a very proactive cleaner in terms of house chores. I respect the space I live in, and take price in a clean tidy house. During the week, I tend to keep quite busy; I like to exercise in the mornings, and do activities like yoga or dance class, trivia, or drinks with friends in the evenings. In terms of hobbies, I love to run, garden, read, cook (healthy and sustainable, mostly veg food), drink wine (mostly only on weekends, but could be convinced otherwise), learn Spanish, hike, camp, and travel! I have friends and family in Sydney, and my long term boyfriend of 6 years lives interstate, so I am often away on weekends. I am after a sharehouse that my boyfriend can come visit and feel comfortable every third weekend or so. He's a great visitor though; he lives on a farm and works at a brewery part time while studying, so usually comes with gifts for the house like fresh eggs, vegetables and craft brew cider and beer! I come with furniture for a bedroom, and have money set aside to purchase any thing that is needed for the house as a contribution. I also have a few plants which I could add to the house foliage. I am due to start back at work the 23rd of July, and would be keen to commence in a sharehouse around that time. If I sound like a suitable fit, I'd love the opportunity to talk more with you. Looking forward to hearing from you, Jacqui
Hi guys! I'm originally from a small Northern NSW town of Grafton and have recently relocated to Canberra. I'm currently working two jobs; one casual hotel position and one part-time airline position so I'm kept pretty busy. I only know a couple people here so would love to experience all the best of it with new friends. As a millennial, I'm pretty obsessed with my TV series and music. I'd love to have a good relationship with my flatmates and will try anything with an open mind. I'm pretty competitive when it comes to games and I love a good night out. However I also love my downtime so privacy is most definitely welcomed. I'm all about a clean living space and reliable roommates so paying rent and cleaning won't be an issue. I'm not too sure how long I will be in Canberra for so am only listing 6 months, but the option to stick around for longer would be a plus. I'm also not too fussed on where I'm located so my 'preferred locations' are definitely not set in stone. Send me a message and we’ll go from there!
Hey there I’m Jarrod, I’m 23 and work full time as a cook. I’m clean and tidy, organised and easy to get along with. I enjoy getting to know people while I also get that we all need our own time and space.
