I'm pretty laid back but always up for a good time. Working full-time so tend to not be much of a partier during the week, but love a good night out on the weekends. I'm clean, respectful of other people and love trying to cook. Looking for flatmates I can be friends with and not just people I live with. Looking for a place with about 2-3 people. Flexible move in date
Hello guys and girls! I am hoping to find a place from as early as the 26th of January for anything up to 6 months depending on if i find a job within the next week. I am a English 27 year old who is very respectable of others and who cleans up after himself and will contribute to all the house work and whatever is required of me. If i am successful or you wish to speak further please message me. Kind regards Jamie Perez
One Irish and one Irish- Australian looking to team up with some like-minded people to look for a share house. Interested in travelling, literature, left-wing activism and of course music! I stole all my dad's old cds when I was a kid so that means I primarily listen to 70s and 80s rock and new wave - but open to new recommendations haha! Very used to living in sharehouses in Dublin, happy to give people space but also more than happy to have the chats with fellow housemates over a glass of wine or two! We'd like to houseshare for at least the first few months in our new city as we are keen on meeting new people.
Hello! We are a friendly, outgoing couple on work & holiday in Australia for 2017. Recently arrived in Melbourne, living in St Kilda for our first month, are looking for a new living situation for a few months. Currently looking for work to fill that time as well before we move on to explore more of Australia. 29 year old male from Michigan USA and 24 year old female from Southern France. We enjoy the outdoors, like to go out and socialize but also enjoy chilling and cooking at home. We are tidy, organized and respectful of others privacy. Loving Melbourne so far and looking forward to more good times. Cheers! -Tom & Justine
Hi there, I'm Ursula, german and studying in Melbourne Beauty Therapy for 1 year. I'm looking for a nice, quiet and clean home in a central part of Melbourne from 21/07/2017. I'm not a party animal and would be glad to find someone who like it quiet, too. I like reading, cycling, hiking, good food, a good glas of wine and I'm always open for a good talk. The place must be furnished and I would be happy to have a shelter for my bicycle. Look forward to hearing from you!
I'm 21, Studying a diploma of beauty therapy that 18 months long and I'm absolutely loving every minute of it. I'm a shy, composed and quiet person at first but open up to be a fun loving, friendly, easy going, down to earth, energetic, bluntly honest and child at heart person. I love to just chill and hangout with friends, watch movies, have time to myself and have a massive passion for beauty.

My name’s Matt and I’m from Toronto, Canada, and am in Melbourne on a working holiday. I’m a 24-year-old writer who has worked this past year in communications at a nonprofit, and will be writing part-time remotely in Australia. I spend my days off exploring Melbourne, especially the arts scene here, whether it be live music, comedy, theatre etc. I’m a clean, considerate and easy-going roommate and love meeting new people. I’m no party-head, but definitely like to go out and am open to different events/experiences. I’m also a passionate drummer, having studied and played music in multiple styles and projects over the last few years. During my stay in Melbourne, I want to connect with like-minded musicians, get a busking license, and perform as much as I can! I love the outdoors and enjoy being spontaneous as much as I enjoy making detailed plans. That’s a little about me! I can commit to a five-month minimum stay (until end of June, or later). - Matt
Hi there, my name is Paulina. I'm 24 yo Polish, arrived to Melbourne 2 months ago. As my sublet is coming to an end with the end Of January I'm looking for a private room. I'd like to stay in the northern suburbs but I'm not really fussy about that. The place should be only more or less convenient with walking distance to tram or train as I work in the cbd. I recently completed studies in Economics, but don't worry! I'm not that boring as it seems assuming by the degree above. I'm pretty laid back, sociable, happy to give you a chance to enjoy your own company. I love music and everything what is related to that. I'm also pretty decent cook, willing to contribute to keep the house tidy. I'm often out if not working but always keen to share a meal or grab a beer if such opportunity shows up. If it seems like we might get along well feel free to ask my any questions and possibly set a meeting. Thanks :)
Hey, I'm Dean, Irish and have been living in Melbourne for the last 3 years. I work full time for Suncorp as a reporting analyst (sponsored by them 😊). During the week I like to gym, cook and drink red wine (althought most of my evenings are full with everything that goes on Melbs!) Weekends I am usually out socialising (last weekend was the Tennis, next weekend is Laneway Festival). Am looking for anything from 6 months to a year (would consider shorter depending on location).
I'm an American, that lives in Sweden, and is studying abroad in Melbourne. I am looking forward to scuba diving, exploring the city, and experiencing the wonderful wildlife. I am great to live with because I am not afraid of snakes or spiders, meaning I am happy to help you catch any strays and put them outside. I am generally pretty quiet, preferring headphones to blasting music, and as I am in a committed relationship I won't be bringing home randos. I enjoy baking in my spare time and am happy to share. I will be working in a research lab full time so I don't expect to be home much. I'm happy to skype to make sure it's a good fit, and look forward to meeting new people.
We are two fun and friendly girls from Ireland. One nurse and one in Marketing so mostly normal working hours, the occasional night shift. We'd be partial to a glass of wine or two as much as a cup of tea or two. We like to go out the weekends and also love to chill and catch up on some Netflix!
I am a sociable guy love to laugh and make others laugh. I am very clean and love to collaborate in home works. I love pets, bbq, chilling out. I respect people's privacy and look for people on my side.

Hey! I'm a Monash student completing her honours year in Psychology . I currently live with my family on the Mornington Peninsula and am looking to move closer to university. I work part time at Coles and will hopefully continue to work part time throughout my honours year. I'm a clean person and a great cook! I'm vego but am not opposed to living with meat eaters. I love being social and going out for drinks with friends, but I also really value quiet time and privacy. My hobbies include baking, binge watching TV series and reading! I have a backpacking trip booked in late November so I'm looking for a place that will allow me to have an approx 9-10 month lease (Mid-late Feb to mid Nov). Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I’m Edwina. I’m a happily single 32 year old who is looking for a place close to the city as I work at the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, so would love to have a short commute; being close to public transport, preferably a train station, is a must for me. I have been living in Windsor for the past 5 or 6 years with my sister, but she has decided to move out with her boyfriend and I decided I want a change of scenery as well. I have made my rent budget $200 p/w but could possibly go up to $240 if I really loved the place, the people in it and it checked all the boxes. I am a neat and clean person who likes to have an organised but relaxed home. I am respectful of other people’s privacy and space because I expect the same thing. I am easy going and relatively introverted and am pretty much a homebody, but do enjoy a good laugh and being around fun loving and positive people, so would be up for a pub meal or a picnic in a park or a movie/live show. I can never really be bothered cooking fancy things but I do love to bake, and more importantly eating whatever I bake. Other than my love for cake, I am pretty healthy and fit. I like to work out most days and do a circus class once a week; in my spare time you can probably find me standing on my hands. I am looking for something long term, in a place where I can feel at home.
Me and Morgan come as a great duo with a love for cooking, cleaning and social events. I've recently enrolled into VCA for theatre practice and she's agreed to move down with me. We love to hang out and normally do adventurous things so we Will never really be in your way unless we are cooking you a dinner or just hanging out.
My sister and I are looking for a furnished room to share! We both work full time and are rarely home, and we are trying to save money so we can travel again! We are from Canada, and are clean, respectful, fun girls!
We are moving from London to Autralia next week and are looking for somewhere as a base. We're both easygoing, active, tidy and sociable and would like to find flatmates who like to enjoy gossiping in the evening over food and a drink (Basil is an excellent cook!) and can tell us a little about all the brilliant things there are to do in and around Melbourne!
East going, clean and tidy, respectful housemate. Love being active and keeping fit and try to do something most days. On the weekends you'll find me out and about, whether its down the beach, riding along the bay, brunch with friends or checking out one of the many random events going on in Melbourne and beyond. Looking for somewhere in Windsor/St Kilda/Elwood with some type of parking available (either off street or with permit)
Im pretty easy going and down to earth, very work and study orientated and am pretty mature for my age. I come from New Zealand and moved out of home when I moved here just after I turned 16 and have been flatting/boarding ever since. I know I'm a bit young but I'm desperately in need for a new place to live in as I have to move out of the current house I'm in by March/April. Im also transgender just thought I'd put that out there because I know some people may have a problem with that. I'm very tidy and clean and am very good at cooking (perks of growing up with a chef for a step mum). I'm also about to study exercise and sports science full time at uni and I work part time at grilld (usually nights). My hobbies include going to the beach, bike riding, fishing, anything water related, writing, playing guitar and dance. I also like having my own space but can also be very social and im alway down to chat and chill out. I also turn 18 in may if that helps.
Hi, my name is Michelle I am 26 years old and I am working in Port Melbourne fulltime at a courier company. I am a respectful person to others and the house. I am relatively quiet and like to keep to myself but I'm also alwyas up for a chat and to hang out with friendly housemates. I'm a pretty relaxed person and I think pretty easy to live with. I've been living with my brother in Berwick for the last six months since I got back from living in Italy (where I lived for six months) and now that I'm settled back in I'm ready to move a bit closer to work and the city and get myself settled in my own place! My interests include Travel, music, literature and food! (I love food!) I'm vegan and I love learning about different vegan foods and trying out new reciepes (which of course I'm always up for sharing with potential housemates if you're up for trying something different 😉). If you have any questions for me feel free to ask, looking forward to meeting you! 😊
Hey guys, I'm Ty, a 39 year old Australian male who is looking for a share house and new friends to live with for 6 months –1 year in Melbourne. I'm clean, housebroken, and know how to do the dishes. I can pull my weight with household chores and am also quite handy. I am an IT Professional from Bendigo who recently left full time long term employment to relocate to the big smoke, looking for a new job and a change of lifestyle, and I'd also like to get out and about and enjoy everything this city has to offer. I enjoy getting out into nature when I can; camping, off-roading, kayaking, and cruising on my motorbike. I am quiet and a bit geeky, but get along with practically everyone.
I have a small dog who is extremely friendly and social. No cats please. I work full time in the city as a public servant, and have friends and family in the south east area. I tend to be quiet at home, watching TV/movies and playing video games, and just relaxing. I am social and friendly however like my quiet time as well. I just have my bedroom furniture, including a TV and computer desk, so I may just require space outside of the bedroom for the computer desk, depending on the size of the room. I am a non-smoker, and prefer the same.
Hi everyone! I'm Aimelyne, French , 27 years old looking for a room asap in Prahan/Fitzroy/Richmond area for 4-5 months! I am easy going, very sociable, enjoy nights out as well as cosy nights in with a good movie! I enjoy dancing, arts, drawing and I will be working full time in the CBD including weekends. Please get in touch if you think I'm a match for your lovely houseshare! Aimelyne
Hi! I am a full time Chinese Medicine student, massage therapist and fitness coach/ ex professional dancer, so I'm really passionate about wellbeing and staying active. When I'm not studying, I'm out at yoga, cooking, going for walks on the beach, working in a clinic or chilling with a movie. I don't personally drink alcohol, but love hanging out and having a good chat. I'm very considerate with noise and cleanliness.......actually I'm quite a clean freak. Ideally I would like to live with someone/ people who work full time so I can have quiet while I study during the day! For the past few years I travelled the world, so I would say I'm quite open to meeting new people and appreciating differences. I hope to hear from you soon. Rosey :)
I am a 30yo female from Glasgow in Scotland.. I work in Hospitality, meaning i work varied shift patters and will be out quite a lot. Love cooking and I am more than willing to rustle up some meals for the flat :) I do like a wee drink now and again, this will be out and about with mates although I am happy to chill with a few beers now and again with my new faltmate/s

Hey guys I am looking for houses for myself and boyfriend valentin. We are both 25 I am English and he is French. We want to enjoy time with people that we live with as all my really good friends I have met through house shares. ( which also means we can't be to bad to live with). We are both really chilled people who enjoy a good time but want a home we can relax in. I love having pets so a house with cat or dog would be a bonus! And Val loves to keep busy so any house projects he is your man. Hopefully we will hear from you soon.
Looking for a new adventure and to meet new people! Outgoing, friendly, love playing soccer and going to the gym. I am a clean and tidy person who also respects others property and privacy. Non-smoker.
Hey Future Flatmates! I'll be moving to Melbourne from Brisbane in early February to start University! I am looking for some people to hook up with and get our own place, or nestle into an established home. I have had some pretty dire accomodation circumstances since returning from India in November. So I am looking for somewhere I can relax, spread out and share my time and space with hopefully new friends! I don't have a solid move/fly date to Melbourne, just saving as much as possible. I'll be looking for some casual or part time work before I arrive. i have bond and rent in advance ready to go though! If you want to chat please call me before 11am or after 8pm, otherwise message. Look forward to hearing from you !!
Hi everyone! I am a 26 year old professional working full time in the city. In my spare time I play a lot of team sports (netball, touch rugby and basketball). If I'm not playing sport I am usually out with friends catching up over food/drinks. Brunch is my favourite activity in the world! I am originally from the UK and moved to Melbourne 2 years ago. I love living close to the city and trying out all of the new places that pop up. I am clean and tidy in the flat and like to socialise but I am also very respectful of me-time :) If I sound like a fit for your house please get in touch and I will come along and view it. Look forward to hearing from you!
23 year old, new to Melbourne. Recently graduated from University on the Gold Coast and spent a good chunk of 2016 traveling the USA and working at a Summer Camp. Vegetarian (but happy to cook for my meat eating friends) and massive animal lover aka crazy dog lady. I have family and friends in Melbourne already, but look forward to making some new pals. I will be working full time in the city, Tuesday-Saturday, and will spend a fair bit of time away from the house. During the week I'm a bit of a nanna and will go to the gym most days and love to watch movies or cringe reality TV and cozy up on the couch. I also love a glass of red, a cheese board and a dance. I hate mess, love natural lights and plants :)
I'm a warm, tidy, easygoing gal who loves books, brunch, wine, art galleries and conversation. I work full time and don't mind living with people on different schedules, love other people's pets and am always happy to have a chat. I've just taken the plunge and accepted a job offer in Melbourne, and am looking for a place to make my new home.
Hi, I'm a full time hairdresser originally from Brisbane. I'm friendly, easy going, tidy, shy, respectful of others privacy, love to have fun, go on adventures and explore Melbourne. In my free time I like to relax, read, watch movies, play games and go to the gym. Hope to make lots of new friends :) Thank you! xx
I'm Kasia, 31, looking for a great place to live with an easy going and friendly person/people who enjoy a laugh. I work full-time as a primary school teacher and curriculum coordinator which keeps me busy but I also enjoy heading out for dinner with friends during the week to break the week up. Otherwise I enjoy cooking healthy meals, reading, listening to music, yoga and heading out for a dance or to a gig. I 'try' to head to the gym before work so am an early riser but always quiet. On the weekends I am generally out and about catching up with friends or running errands to organise the week ahead but also love a night in with a movie or bubble bath sometimes too. People who know me describe me as bubbly, considerate and reliable. I'm outgoing but also know when to be quiet. Enjoy socialising but also treasure a bit of me time too. Very tidy but not OCD. Love animals and get along well with most humans. Am after an unfurnished room that will comfortably fit in a queen size bed and two side tables in a furnished house. Bathtub in central bathroom or my own bathroom are a bonus but not essential. Ideally looking for sociable housemates that I can build rapport and have a laugh with but happy to live with someone quiet too. Important to feel comfortable at home. No one creepy please.
Hi! My name is Mia, I'm 24 years old, looking to move out of home for the first time. I am tidy, friendly and respectful. I don't party hard, but I am sociable and always happy for a chat or a glass of wine. I'm studying psychology and a cert IV in Mental Health, I volunteer at a telephone crisis line for women, and I work 4-5 shifts a week at a part-time hospitality job. When I'm not working I love to write, read, watch movies, visit museums/art galleries, and hiking/going to the beach. I also love to travel, if only I had more money for it! :'( If you are LGBT+ friendly, smoke-free, and looking for a female housemate in the areas of Hawthorn, Toorak, South Yarra, Richmond etc., then I would love to get to know you! (Move out date negotiable).
I am currently working at a bar in Chapel St and am looking for a place somewhere close to or around that area. I am and easy going and tidy person who never turns down a chat. I also like having my space on occasion like anyone. I love music, listening and playing, cooking isn't my specialty but I enjoy doing it and my food is far from inedible. I usually work 5 days a week but I'm not on full-time hours, but being at a bar I might be in and out at odd hours occasionally. I am currently seeking a full-time job which will help settle me into more of a routine. I also have prospects of studying. I will be punctual with rent and chores and more than happy to provide good company to anyone I share with. Please contact me ASAP with anything that may be of interest to me!
Hey i'm a non-judgy, geeky chill gamer (mainly dota) who works consistent casual hours in the cbd in a position i've had for several years. I'm relaxedly looking to move back into Admin work, but fine to keep going in my current job too. Either way, I have savings, so wont be short for rent. I cook healthy, do my part, respect privacy, know how to house-share, and keep messes to my own room. I'm not religious, but tolerant and respectful of others views. I've been living with a pack of 20-25yo dudes for the last 3 years, and with a lovely 27yo vietnamese homeowner girl for a few years before that. I get along with all sorts. I don't smoke (don't mind at all if you're a 420 fan), rarely drink lots. I'm not overly princessy and am flexi with kitchen/bathroom use times. I frequently spend time quietly in my own space; gaming, drawing digitally, reading, but am happily sociable and easy to lure out for a cuppa or a beer. I occasionally like to get crafty, and adore making geeky costumes now and then - love halloween, PAX or other occasion to dress up (as you'll see on insta). I'd like laid back housemates with integrity, independent but friendly, in a comfortable, secure household. I don't need a large room, though reliable Internet is a must! Commute wise: Ideally within 30mins to the cbd via train/tram. Geeks would be cool? <3 Non geeks are fine too! Housemate/s okay with me having my boyfriend sometimes hang out/stayover would be fantastic, as he lives over an hour away~ we are very conscious of not overwhelming shared quarters. Honestly your gender, age, ethnicity, sexual preferences etc. are not an issue to me. But please don't have a carpet of human hair, scary exposed wires near the sink or casual homeless squatters like that one apartment that one time.. lol Check my social media verifications below, (sorry im a bit of a goof on twitter.. hah)
Hey there! I'm a future student at deakin, Curently working casual at a Meatshop in Pakenham. I'm easy going and chilled out, organised and tidy. I enjoy adventures, hiking, swimming and pretty much anything outdoors will do. Not someone who likes to "party party", but do enjoy the occasional drink. Just looking to live with other like minded humans who enjoy a good chat, but are also respectful of a "me day". Flexible on move in date, Look forward to meeting you! Cheers :)
Come back from a 3 month holiday in February - Originally lived in St Kilda East and loved it there so Looking preferably round inner eastern suburbs. Not one to cook up a storm, so don't expect a masterchef, but am a pretty tidy person and like to think I could bring that to the table. I don't bring a party home, but do love having a few beers and judging reality tv stars on tv. Will be continuing my uni degree of Urban Development and working 30+hrs a week.
I will be moving to Melbourne to start a new full time job in the fashion industry. I'll be moving down on the 28th of January, so would love to find a place before I start work on the 6th of February. I'm friendly, respectful and clean. I am one of those girls who loves a cup of coffee in the morning, and even better - a glass of red to wind down after a long day at work. I can be social, but I tend to be more on the quiet side at home - generally watching a movie or reading one of my many books. I lead a relatively healthy and active lifestyle, currently loving barre (Pilates & ballet). Being new to Melbourne, I would love to explore the city and hopefully find housemates that are keen to check out new cafes and art/fashion exhibitions with me :)
Hi Guys My name is Pat. I moved from Sydney to Melbourne in 2014 to pursue academic and career goals. Within the last year I have had to step back from full time work due to increasing study commitments. I would describe myself as ambitious yet laidback. Preferred social setting is definitely a café/restaurant, although I do enjoy a sneaky night out once in a while. I currently work split shift 5.00am - 8.00 and 3.00pm - 7.00pm with school in between so I'm normally the first out of the house and first to bed but enjoy to socialise and share a meal. Also fairly clean, like to keep things tidy but by no means a neat freak. If you would like to no more please do not hesitate to ask. Look forward to meeting you Pat
