Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender, ideally with other professionals, but students are fine too. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home and get to know you all, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners every now and then, especially the spontaneous ones, but I don't want to be committed to three different dinners cooked by three different people each week. My cap for shared dinners is probably once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days in the same week. P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously. Criteria: - Built in Robes (with lots of hanging space and shelves). This is non-negotiable. - Room that can fit a Queen Bed, side table, lots of other boxes/things etc. this is non negotiable too. - Car port/ undercover parking with automatic doors (highly preferable, but could be overlooked if everything else was perfect) - En suite (preferable, but not a must. Happy to share a bathroom with one other, but no more). - Lots of storage space (inside the house - not a storage cage) - Dishwasher - Housemates that are not hermits - Age of household: 25-35. Ideally, I would like to live with people who are around my age, and are social. - I do not want to live with infants, young children, or a family/home stay style arrangement. - I do not want to live in Gunghalin, Dunlop, Harrison, or Crace - sorry, it’s just too far from work.
Hi, I am based in Sydney right now. I got job in one of the Govt org. I am moving to Canberra in end of November and looking for shared accommodation. I am male, 28, Software Engineer. I like to make friends, watch movies, play badminton, non-smoker, no pets. Thanks, Abhi
I have just finished my first year of uni doing a teaching and science double degree at UC. I am looking to move out of home for next year and start being more independent. I study a lot, love to travel and am a hard working individual. Pretty easy going, bubbly personality and won't take up much room, except for my desk I will need to bring with me! I am tidy, make sure to clean up myself everywhere, and love to have a good chat! I work three jobs and am committed to bringing my best! Location wise, I am looking for somewhere walking/riding distance to the University of Canberra!
Hi, I'm Anna. I'm 25 and moved from Sydney to do my Primary Education Degree at the University of Canberra. I've started a permanent teaching position in Canberra and am looking for a roommate and place to call home. I'm a super clean and tidy person and enjoy keeping my space free from clutter and mess. I enjoy running and going to the gym equally as much as I enjoy wine and pizza! As much as I love socializing, I am very respectful of peoples need for privacy, quiet time and space. Whilst I'd love to find a place that is furnished but I am equally happy to go on a Kmart/Ikea shopping spree! My lease ends on the 31st of Dec, however, I am able to move in earlier.
Recently returned from the U.S.A, where I completed a 3 month internship. Looking for somewhere to live upon my return to Canberra. Work full time and play a lot of sport, so I don't usually spend too much time at home. Very easy to live with; clean and respectful. Easy to get along with, good sense of humor. Any questions just let me know.
Hey I’m Elana, I moved to Canberra at the start of the year to study at the University of Canberra. I have lived on campus accomodation for nearly 2 semesters now, but am very interested in moving out since the tenants on campus are very rowdy and I want a more quiet and relaxed environment to live in. I enjoy binge watching tv shows, excellent coffee and love cats! I am clean and mostly keep to myself but always up for a chat. Looking for a place that is hopefully close to UC
would like to live in a quite place in the belconnen area, would prefer to live with an owner, or longer term stay, and would prefer an all inclusive rate. please send an email thanks
I'm courteous, respectful, clean and if there's an option to be social with housemates and have a drink after work I up certainly up for that too - I am happy either way :) I work as an architect in the city, obviously the closer to the city the better for me but I don't mind living in Belconnen, Molonglo, South Gungahlin, Inner North/South. I like to keep fit and social throughout the week. More about what I'm after - I would need an unfurnished room, a car space, access to storage cage, after a fairly new property.
Hi there, I'm young enthusiastic education student (Finish end of 2018) that is looking for a place to live! My preferred options are to take over student accommodation, studio or a small 2/3 bedroom share house, moving from a 5 bedroom. I love a chat, fitness, sport, playing my PlayStation 4 and a casual drink when something calls for it! I'm respectful of privacy, tidy and very friendly! Furniture wise I have everything to fill my room (including a queen size bed) but I am more than happy to store this stuff for student accommodation.
$250 including all bills is my budget. Would prefer an ensuite and garage/carport. Iam friendly & easygoing. Clean and tidy. Happy to hang out with flatmates when free or not. Independent. Can pay bills on time. Mature. I am not looking for a party house as I study. Somewhere that can feel like home woukd be awesome. I love dogs and woukd love to live with one. Callanytime. 😊
I am a clean and tidy, friendly, easy going, relaxed housemate that is just as happy to socialize as well as do my own thing. Looking for a new place to move in to as soon as possible for at least several months while I am trying to sell my house and buy a new one. I haven't rented for a while but I am always reliable with all rent and bills.
I have been renting a private Granny Flat since 2012, sadly the property is going on the market to sell. I keep any where I live whether it be mine or rented clean & tidy, I am laid-back but not lazy, I am social as well as enjoy my own space & quiet times, I respect others space.
I currently work full time in hospitality, have a beautiful 1 year old dog, and have had over 2 years experience living out of home. Im clean, respectable and quiet, but love to mingle with my house mates and enjoy a drink or 2 after a long day. Very reliable and friendly!
Hi everyone! Herald here (aka Frankie), working part-time and studying, and I am currently looking for a share-house around Gungahlin area that is pet friendly as I am having to leave the current house (due to major renovation) that I have lived in for 3 years with many other university students and professionals throughout those years. I am really easy going and friendly and I believe in maintaining a peaceful, clean and respectful house environment. I love to chat but can respect when people need downtime. I also clean and tidy up after myself as well as participate in all shared household chores without a problem. Love listening to Metal (don't worry I use my headsets :) ) and all the geeky/pop culture stuff like computer hardware, Marvel/DC universe, Movies, TV shows and Video games (PC). I have a 2 year old cat (Pixel), who is well trained and well behaved and stays indoors (mostly in my bedroom). My budget is $180 - $200 per week with utilities and internet. If you are looking for a housemate and don't mind my cat, please message me :)
A Melbournian looking to move up to Canberra to start full-time work in the public service. I'm friendly, reliable, tidy, considerate, easy-going, and a proud supporter of the Oxford comma (sometimes). I'm a nerd at heart who loves his gaming, movies and music. I love playing pick-up basketball, so if you're a follower of the NBA, we'll be sure to get along (unless you're a Celtics fan, fair warning). I'm always good for a chat over some beverages but can also appreciate a quiet night of Netflix and board games. I'm happy to fit into a house looking for a new roommate or team up with others also looking for a place to settle in Canberra. Hopefully looking to move and get settled around mid-December. I'll be working in Bruce so anywhere around there or in north Canberra would be preferred :)
I am a Malaysian born Chinese guy who has lived in Sydney since 2004. I recently accepted a hospital pharmacist role in Canberra and will need a place ASAP! I enjoy making conversation and chilling out, but I also love a good night out. In saying that I still like quiet time so I'd like to think I can be flexible with where I live. I've been mostly an indoor activities person but the plan is to do more outdoors! Currently training for running events and the occasional hike (when it isn't too cold or raining).
I'm a clean and tidy 23 year old government worker. I've just been offered a role to start on the 27th of November in Belconnen, so I'd like to move up the weekend just before I start. I don't have many possessions other than my computer and my clothes, a few books and vinyl records - as such i would prefer a room that's already furnished (so i don't have to bring heaps more furnishings down from Sydney) but if the room isn't furnished i can do have the option to bring my bed/table/bedside table and things. I'm bilingual, and I love the outdoors. Fishing is my favourite pastime, but also enjoy kayaking, camping and biking as well as bush regeneration. I don't smoke, have no pets, no children and i live a pretty minimalist life. I do have a goal of moving to Canada next year for work which may happen so I have already gotten rid of alot of my possessions. I'm respectful and courteous, and I understand everybody likes their own private time even when sharing a house. let me know if you are interested in having me as a flatmate :)
I'm looking for someone to join my friend, sister and I in a share house. I'm in my third year studying Journalism at the University of Canberra. I also work part time in retail. I love socialising, keeping fit and travelling. I'm friendly and easy going person. I enjoy my personal space but I'm also up for watching TV and chilling out. I'm trustworthy, reliable and tidy.
I’m a 23 year old South African, from Johannesburg. Been in Australia for 4 years studying a bachelor of law at UC. I’ve live in shared student accommodation so I’m respectful of people’s space, clean up after myself and always up for socialising.
Single, 27 year old male. Currently working full time in the public service. I am looking for comfortable accommodation, with housemates that are fairly relaxed and chilled out people. Preferably bills and internet included in rent cost. But this is not a requirement. I am very tidy person and like to keep kitchens and bathrooms spotless. I am looking for a place where I can have my own privacy, which I will respect in turn, however, I am more than happy to socialise with my housemates as well.
Im not looking to move in until September. I work full time Monday-Friday in hospitality. Im friendly but also like to keep to myself at times. I've only ever shared a house with friends before so I'm looking for a place with nice people I can feel comfortable around.
I'm working and studying at the University of Canberra. My career is in the IT industry so I am handy to have when the devices stop working. I love to binge on Netflix shows and am happy to do that with others or in my room when people want their privacy.
Hi there thanks for checking my profile, I have recently moved to Canberra from sunny Brisbane. I am very easygoing and tidy guy and quiet normal and easily get along with most people. I might seem a little quiet in the beginning until I know people but always love to have a chat and very social. Also love to share a meal and the occasional drink as well as hangout once in a while. I am a software professional and work in Deakin. Looking for a place to move into with friendly and mature flatmates somewhere ideally around Lyneham area or somewhere close to Deakin and Civic. I am fairly active and and keep myself busy most evenings either going to the gym or doing something else and I love Latin dancing. I have been doing that for years and end up going to some of those events few nights a week. I play some sports socially probably pretty bad at all of them I play except in some rare occasions :-) (still like to play for fun)! When I am home I love to watch movies, used to binge watch tv shows on Netflix when I have time. I also cook some nights and relax and have a conversation with flatmates. I do like an occasional drink once in a while over a conversation and I am not a party animal but do party hard once in a while. I would also be away one or two weekends in a month going to Sydney to meet friends or attending dance events. So more space for you on some weekends :-) Please message me if you think I am someone who you would like to live with and have a comfortable room to share :-) We can have a chat and go from there!

More than happy to chat!
