Hi there, I just moved to Sydney for a year (or more) mid-May and I am looking to find a nice base with good people from which to explore Australia. I like to make the place I live my home. I am up for getting a coffee or drinks, having a movie night with the flatmates, but also like my own space and respect that of others. More about me I've worked as a project manager in sustainable development until now, but looking to change jobs soon (most likely going into comms). Love cooking, reading, getting to know new people, sci-fi movies, exploring new local places, running, or in general being outdoors. Would have a preference for a shared house with friendly professionals or students in a similar age group (25 and up).
Hey there! My name is Johanna and I've just been offered a job down in Sydney, based in Darlinghurst. I'm looking to move early June, ideally somewhere that isn't too far away from work! I'm really neat, respectful, and love animals (if you have a pet that is a big plus for me!) :) I want to live with people that are pretty down-to-earth and that wouldn't mind watching some trashy reality TV with me every now and then :) I would need a car space (on street parking is okay if it is fairly easy), and ideally would have my own bathroom but I'm happy to share for the right place!
I'm an American currently living in Manly. I'm looking for a new place after switching jobs. I am looking for a place that i can share with a friend from France. We are neat and tidy people and love to go out and meet up with friends and just have a good time.
Hey, my name is Céline and I am French. I will be in Sydney for a 6-months internship and as I don't know anyone there, I would like to live with flat/house mates. I am used to live in flatshare as I have already lived in London for a year with 5 people and in Luxembourg for 3 months with 6 people. I am easy to live with, I like food, chilling and partying when I can. I love doing sports and listening to music. I do not mind pets or smokers although I do not personnaly smoke.
I am 21yo Spanish girl who has been living in Sydney for a year now. I study Marketing and Communication and work a part time job throughout the week along with an internship. I work in hospitality and besides that, I do for fun is dancing, go to art exhibitions, reading, etc. I love live music and cinema the most. I have been sharing flats since a year ago so I consider I am easy to get along with, tidy, respectful, and also conscious about the conditions of sharing a home. Not only cleaning and respecting, it is also about building honest and friendly communications among the place. About myself -- I am open minded, always keen for good conversations, clean and tidy, responsible and empathic. I think that home is the place to relax and leave away all worries so it is for creating a nice atmosphere.
Hi, my name is Malisa. I am a 27 year old architect from Perth! I have recently returned to Australia from London and am relocating to sunny Sydney for a new job, which starts mid June. I am friendly, tidy and sociable housemate and have lived in share houses for several years so well house trained. I love checking out exhibitions, seeing live music, cooking, cheese and wine nights, the ocean and travelling! I am hoping to find a friendly share house with a nice living space and perhaps even a courtyard or garden, which will be available by mid-June! Please get in touch if you think I would be great addition to your house or if you are looking and think we might be able to team up!Thanks Malisa
I'm from Sydney but I've moved around a lot in the last 5 years -- living in San Francisco, Madrid and Brisbane. I've moved back this year to study at UNSW so ideally I'd be living in a social house where eating or having a drink together is equally as important as respect each other's space.
Hi !! We are Honorine (25 years old) & Clémentine (24 years old), 2 French girls coming to Sydney for 6 months to do internships at law firms. We are both Lawyer-Students in Paris. We really love travelling and we want to have some fun in Australia and meet great people. We are very fun, but also tidy and clean, we both love to hang out, and Honorine is great at cooking ;) We are looking for 2 nice rooms in a share house. Our date of arrival is the 6th of July and we start working on the 10th.
I work in the stock market, I write poetry and philosophy and although I am Sydney born with mixed European ancestry I speak Colombian Spanish. I have a healthy lifestyle, gym and outdoors, I cook my own meals rather than eat out, I am mindful and always show respect. Tidy and easy to talk with about almost anything but I also enjoy my private time. I have been sharing with a friend for many years and I'm ready for a new chapter. I seek private bathroom and natural sunlight room only please. I am gay but have no preference about the gender or orientation to whom I will share with. I would also be open to a studio style space .
I'm a full time barista working and supervising at a cafe. I make a mean latte. In my spare time I like going out for a few beers on King Street (or maybe now somewhere a bit less crowded). I cook a lot, trying to figure out all the cuisines but I believe that anything with cheese and olive oil can be made into magic. I play a bit of soccer and read, draw a little and want to learn to paint, listen to a lot of neo-soul and watch Netflix, I'm an Average Joe. On an indefinite hiatus from studying a multitude of degrees and accumulating exponential HECS debt. I'm passionate about social justice, especially asylum seeker justice.
Hi there It's Gerald, 33 years old, Chilean, so you can practice your Spanish with me "Hola amigo", "Una cerveza por favor", and those kind of things. I'm a journalist but here I'm a Chef student, who cooks better than your grandma (haha I have to say it). I'm punctual with the payments, relaxed and incredibly clean. I enjoy doing sports, taking pictures and all the audiovisual jazz. Love music, chill with friends. I don't have much time for fun, cose I'm working and studying hard, but it would be great shearing a coffee, playing chess or just have a nice talk with cool people. I'm looking for a private room where I can study, but also a cool place to call home with other legends. If I am the style of guy you are looking for, let me know and I'll be there. Cheers Gerald
Just arrived in Sydney from Brazil, but already have a full-time job in construction, I'm very tidy, especially in the common areas. I'll probably spend most of the time (when I'm home) in my room with headfones, but I'm also up for a drink, movie or chat anytime. So if you want a ghost that pays rent on time or a friend that pays rent on time it's me.
I'm a mental health nurse coming over to Sydney at the end of October 2017! Looking to find a place for my own room & ensuite, would love to share with other nurses! I'm clean & tidy and respect others. As nurses we work shifts so I understand the need for peace & quiet. I'm sociable when I have my days off work, would love to meet a great group to live & socialise with!
Hi there, I am a professional who is starting a 6 month contract in Sydney but live weekends in Byron Bay, looking for an easy ideally walkable or short train ride to CBD, close to restaurants and good coffee. I will basically barely be at home. I am easy going and enjoy people but also will most likely be pretty busy while I am in town. Who I live with though is as improtant as where I live as the vibe needs to be right. Jackie
we are a French/Australian couple, very quiet during the week because we are working but we like to party during weekends (sorry for my English, i do my best...) and we are looking for accomodation in a shared house or a studio just for us (but i don't really believe we can have that...ahah) - We can't wait to find the place where we can, finally, live together!
Hi I'm Brooke and I'm a 2nd year uni student at UTS studying property and international studies. Currently living in the redfern/surry area but looking to move into a bigger space. I’m normally either at work or uni or a combination of both throughout the day. Hobbies include: cooking, attempting to do yoga, painting, playing the piano (not very well) and procrastinating over assignments. I’m always keen for a chat but am very respectful of people’s privacy. Clean and tidy, always pay my bills on time - references from current landlord and employer are available on request. Looking for a place that feels like home and would love to move into a friendly and social house :) I don't really have a preferred stay time, it really just depends on the people and the house. My move date is also flexible
Super tidy design student working in cosmetic retail. Ideally looking for a pet-friendly place, end of June 2017 until early January 2018.
