Hey everyone :) Just arrived in Sydney a few days ago and am looking for accomodation starting as soon as possible. Please also let me know if you have any short-term options ( 1 - 3 weeks). I am currently doing my masters in Business administation/Marketing at the University of Hamburg in Germany and will be spending a semester at Macquarie University in the Masters of Research program. Having lived in a variety of shared appartements during my time at uni in Hamburg and while spending a couple of months in Spain after high School, I like to claim that I am easy to live with and get along with most people. :) I would prefer a private & furnished room in a location which is not toooo Long (less than 1,5 h) of a commute to Macquarie Uni (though preferably more central or closer to the beach than right next to the university). I love to travel, try to go the gym (sometimes more, sometimes less motivated), meet up with friends .....just pretty usual stuff. My Student visa expires July 31st, so I will either head back around that time or try to stay a little longer with a tourist or working holiday visa. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you think you might have an acommodation option that could fit. :) Sandra
Hey, We’re a French couple, Paul & Marion. Looking for a private room in Sydney. We love sports, cook, meet and discover around us. We are clean, calm and respectful. See you!
Hi guys. I’m French, recently relocated to Sydney. Looking for a private furnished room in the city preferably in a house along the bay (waterfront would be great), Darling Point, Double Bay, Glebe Point, North Pyrmont, Milsons Point, Kiribilli or other locations but not more than 1 hour walk from CBD. I'm clean, tidy and respectful. Well-travelled with a travel industry professional background. I like walking, hiking in the bush or along the coast, discovering new places, new people and having fun. Also into yoga. I'm always glad to have a chat, enjoy a drink, a nice meal or bbq.
Hi, I’m a 29 y/o girl from Berlin, looking for a nice flat share. I’d like to have a spot where I feel home after work (I’m here on WHV and I want to work for 6 months at least, before travelling). I’m into sports, reading but also going out. I’m not looking for a party place but one to share with nice people, also have a good chat and maybe once in a while cook together and have a glass of wine. Cleaning after oneself is needless to say, as I like it tidy as well. :) If you think that coyld be a good fit, I am looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers
Hi there! I'm Cross! I'm from the land of igloos and polar bears, also know as Canada! I arrived to Sydney on a working holiday visa. I'm a Personal Trainer and plan on continuing my career down there as well! Don't worry, I'm not a health freak that tries to force fitness, ect on people 👍 I'm quite versatile and open to adventures and new memories with people, but also respectful of personal space.
Looking for an apartment that’s clean and furnished. I am easy going, sociable, clean, tidy and respectful of others privacy. I am a professional working in construction management. I enjoy training (gym), sports, music, socialising, traveling, going out for coffee, breakfast and drinks.
Love having fun and being sociable, but also enjoy peace and quiet. I hope that I can find a home full of future friends that I can live in while I finish my studies. I'm a full-time student at the University of Sydney and work as a bartender in Newtowner, so I'll be out and about most of the day.
Hello, I'm moving from Melbourne to Sydney for work in early March. I love plants, fresh air and homely homes. I'm always up for a chat, but also happy with my own company. Cats generally make me smile but also itch, so probably looking for a pet free scenario. :)
I'm a classical violinist and am looking for great people to share a place with. I enjoy living in a fairly clean and tidy environment. I like to be social with housemates, a glass of wine or the occasional dinner. I love cooking and will enjoy making dinner for my housemates occasionally. I've lived in Europe for 5 years and still travel on and off for performing but am enjoying life back in Sydney. I respect privacy and am always open to the needs of those I live with. It's important to me to be able to contribute to a really comfortable home environment. Looking forward to chatting and meeting new people! Thanks Matt
I have recently moved to Australia on a working holiday visa from Ireland. I am clean, tidy and respectful of people's personal space but am always up for sharing a drink or meal with my roomies if they are up for it. I am a pretty easy going girl, who enjoys going out on the weekends but am pretty low key during the week.
looking for a homey home. copywriter; not-for-profit. i have one old dog and one young dog. they are good people. the young one has just learnt to trot alongside me when i'm riding a bike. i have a lot of books. it would be nice to live with someone interesting. i work full-time. like to cook. not from sydney. but here for 7 years now. i really think this is enough information now, flatmates. o_0 it keeps asking for more, but a good writer is succinct. All happy families are alike; but each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness. it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way.
Hi you! I am 25-year-old student from Finland. I'm starting my studies here at the University of Sydney in mid February and now I-m looking for the place to call home! I am easy going and social person who likes to spent time with others by doing different kind of stuff; cooking, going to the beach, watch movies.. anything goes! :) I'm tidy and always clean up my mess! I'm used to share the house with others as I am living in a sharehouse in Finland also. I am searching for the private room near USYD. Hope to hear from you soon! :)
Hi! My name is Rommy. I am 25, female and a student. I am of Spanish/South American background. I have lived with flatmates in the past but have been living on my own for about 2 years. My current lease ends on the 20th of February so I need to find a place to move in by the 24th of February. I will be studying at UNSW this march, doing psychology and science. Ideally I am looking for something close to the Kensington campus or city surrounds/randwick/coogee. I'm pretty friendly, respectful of people's privacy and mostly like to keep to myself at home but happy to help out with anything. I am happy to pay $150- $260 ($300 in worse case scenario) a week on rent with utilities included. I don't mind if place is furnished or not. I can bring my own stuff if needed, but I do need internet to be included. If you think you have something suitable for me please get in touch :)
I'm a pretty chill professional geek working in the city. Gyms regularly, and tries hard to be healthy (not really, don't judge). Flexible with the amount of interaction required on a daily basis. #canshutup #canbeloudandnoisy
We are easy-going, calm people to live with. We are into environmental sustainability and are open-minded. Lucy is about to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Writing and Publishing, she works part-time as a comms assistant for Sustainable Salons and loves hiking, rock-climbing and writing. Billy is studying full-time at Usyd in a Psychology Honours program. He is into meditation, playing guitar and scuba diving. We're both friendly, considerate, clean and have lived in share-houses before. We have an old cat called Starcat (Lucy named him when she was 3), he's 19 so most of his days are spent sleeping.
I'm quiet, respectful, clean and trustworthy. I work as a primary school teacher in the city. I'm looking for a place that I can call as my home. If I fit the description of what you're looking for, feel free to inbox me. Thanks :)
I’m an exchange student from London. I’m in my penultimate year studying chemistry at the University of Sydney. In my spare time, I practice yoga and love to read. When I have time I bake too. I enjoy being social and like to hang out on the weekends, but I also value my own time. Normally I like being quiet during the week so not looking for a party house. But I love good food and I’m always up for sharing a bottle of wine over dinner. I’m a clean and tidy person and I think it’s fair to say fairly low maintenance.
