Hey all! 3 girls looking for a place to live in Sydney, Jasmyn is from Darwin, Australia and Steph and Helen are from Leeds in England! We're all social and fun girls, we're all working but enjoy our weekends and few drinks here and there - not a party house but somewhere to have fun with friends! We're looking for a place so we can all have our space, and enjoy the summer. We're interested in teaming up with more people so we can get a great place and split the rent! Send us a message we want to get a place as soon as we can!
Hi my name is Darren, I've just come over to Sydney from Melbourne to begin post grad med which I'm really excited about. Im a really easy going, laid guy, always happy for a chat or a movie binge, games night, whatever you're into. Im generally tidy but not a neat freak - would always do my own dishes etc. Would love to make new friends wherever I'm living but also will probably be crazy busy at Uni so I'm happy with easy going or outgoing housemates! Im good with animals if you have any and am respectful of peoples personal space. A furnished room would suit me best as I'm more or less coming over with the clothes on my back but I'm flexible with whatever is available. Please message me if you think you have something that might suit me - I'm currently available to meet potential housemates/view rooms now that I'm in Sydney. Thanks for reading
We are a couple, Russell and Anne, who have been backpacking in Australia for nearly a year. We are both easy going, quiet and clean. We have just arrived in Sydney and are looking for a place to stay for the next 2-3 months while we work and explore the city. We are starting work (full time) very soon so we are interested in finding a room that is available immediately. We also have a Toyota Hiace van that we need to find parking for (on road parking is fine).
QLD guy moving to Sydney to start study at Uni Syd. Spent the last 5 years living and working overseas. I really enjoy great conversation over a few quiet drinks. Reliable, quiet and clean - I also love to cook from scratch (with the occasional baking). Happy to live with anyone from anywhere as am very open minded and tolerant. Look forward to meeting soon.
Hi, My name is Jourdon and I am a UNSW scholarship student currently working at the investment bank Rothschild. I am looking for housing for the next 6 months near the city or a train line to facilitate easy access to work. I am a neat person with minimal personal items and am simply looking for a private room with enough space to hang my clothes and fit a king single or double bed. I've lived overseas for last 6 months in America on University Exchange in shared housing so I am house trained and work well with people of all demographics and age groups.
Kiwi medical student at Liverpool hospital working in trauma. Awesome work stories are guaranteed, like the one's you see on TV! Love to cook Indian food. Always keen for a yarn and some back yard cricket/footie. Location: Preferably close to Liverpool hospital or easy access to public transport as I don't have a car. My interests: socializing, sports, bookworm, arts, movies, DMC's, Game of Thrones!! Looking for a chilled out place with responsible and easy going flatmates. Wouldn't mind an occasional house party every now and then but I wouldn't consider myself a party freak.
Hey, lovelies. I'm Cindy, have lived in Sydney for almost 3 years, just finished the graduates school from USYD, quite excited to start working here in the following 2+ years. Desire a long term place called home, it will be better locating around CBD or Central area, which is convenient to work and commute. Ideally, 2-3 professionals to live with, whereas having own bathroom. Personally, living in a simple life but keep exploring various new and fun stuff, love Travelling, Yoga, Pilates, Jogging, Hiking, Swimming , reading, TV marathon, going out and chill with friends. In the past 2 years, I was living in a international dorm, where there have over 200 residents from more than 45 countries. I do really enjoy the life there and very hard to say goodbye after I finished the Uni. Essentially, the life there nurtures me comfortable with various people and being open-minded of the life. Being described as a quite clean and respectable person , I am considerable easy going to chat with and always love to share life interesting stories, etc. Plus, being socialize and awesome, I always open arms and welcome new people come along and quite okay with occasional house party in a proper manner. Hope future flatmate(s) as mature young professionals also like keep living environment lovely and enjoyable. Well , if you would like teaming up , being any kinda of GYM guy, activities fan, foodie, travel-lover, or just simply awesome, do not hesitate to message. BTW, quite terrible with cooking tho, opps. Cheers
Hi there, we are a couple, Jackson (24) and Nicola (25) looking for a share house as we are relocating from Newcastle where we have lived together in a share house last 2 years. We don't smoke or have pets. We are looking for something longer term, preferably 12 months but we'll take anything over 6 if that's what you have going. We are looking for a place to move in to anytime from the beginning of February. We are respectful, friendly and easy going people who are reliable with rent and bill payments, and always do our part to keep our house clean and tidy. We love pub trivia, but we aren't party goers. We really like living in a share house environment and being able to have a chat and share a meal/drinks with our housemates, but we also appreciate and respect personal space. A little bit about us- Nicola: I have lived in share houses for 5 years while I went to uni. I'm currently doing my masters at USYD and working as a casual high school teacher. I'm originally from Rozelle and looking forward to moving back to Sydney. Uni takes up a lot of my time at the moment, but when I'm not doing that I like to bake (I make a mean chocolate mud cake), home brew beer, doing a bit of gardening, and do crafty things. Jackson: I have lived in a share house for 2 years. I completed my honours in biomedical science and I will be tutoring high school science while I look for a job in my field. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, playing video games, going on reddit, and listening to music, particularly aussie prog (e.g. Karnivool). We hope that's enough info, if you have any questions feel free to ask :-) (p.s. I couldn't figure out how to make the profile pic of both of us evenly!)
We are a group of young guys who all work in various industries. Will is a full time Chef at Ms. G's in Potts Point, Scott is an Engineer, Isaac runs a Cafe and Harry works in the film biz. We are all fun, easy going guys who will get along with anyone. Some of us have lived together in the past and have kept fun, clean and respectful houses.
I have recently returned to Sydney. Grew up in Boston, Massachusetts and have come back to do a masters degree. Love cooking, travelling, camping, and catching up with friends on the weekends. I am a very respectful, clean, and considerate roommate. I am very friendly and enjoy laughing. Looking for a new place to live that is closer to the city! :)
Hey there! I am looking for a place FEB 1st or sooner anywhere in Sydney preferably 10-15 min walk to the beach and 45 min bus to CBD (or less). I am a Canadian on a work visa for a year, possibly longer if I get my PR. I work at a club as a cocktail waitress, mostly nights. I will need a comfortable place to practice music (vocals, guitar and DJ'ing); as well as a quiet place to write and read. No preference on male or female as long as you are genuine, easy going and can respect each other's privacy. Although I do enjoy my "me" time, I love good coversation and can get along with nearly anyone :) I am very clean and happy to help out - shared cooking and cleaning duties is an option. I don't mind partying/smoking/drinking, although I don't myself. I enjoy a good workout and can't wait to try surfing. Vegan with loose morals ;) I love animals, no problem with pets. Flat Preferences/Requirements: Need a bed, closet/chest of drawers. Internet needed, shared bathroom and kitchen. TV or living space not necessary. Preferred private room or study area (as long as I have about 2-4 hours a day in private). 300$ all included - electric, gas, water, internet. Negotiable. I love to make friends, please contact me if we can work something out!
I'll be moving back to Sydney to take on a new Engineering role based out of Concord and would be interested in starting/being a part of a new or existing dwelling . I'm an energetic young man that's keen to get out and explore, whilst being health focused but also enjoy socializing on my weekends. If you feel I'd be suitable please get in contact!
hi guys ı'm burak from Turkey. basically i'm really responsible tidy and clean person. also ı love sports and do something but don't worry i am not loud guy :D
Hi there. I am from Spain, bit far away isn't it? Working as a carpenter for a big company and trying to do so for a long time... Consider myself as down to eart person, easy going and home trained. If you want to hear more from just hit me. Cheers
Hey - I'm Polly! I'm from the UK but I've been living in Sydney for almost three years now and have absolutely no intention of leaving! I'm a journalist by trade and work in the city. I'm usually fairly chilled in the week but love to socialise on the weekends, going for drinks and meals. Love a wine :) I'm clean, tidy and respectful - and ideally I'm looking to live in a house where we are friends, not just room mates.
Very laid back Canadian that would love to add to the atmosphere of your home! I leave early for work and usually get home in the late evening. I am also studying so I won't be in your way. You'll have plenty of privacy to yourself, along with occasional dinners cooked by me together if you want!
Hi All, My name is Andy, I have been here in Australia now almost 3 months and mi currently living in a house where no one speaks English and the house is falling apart. I'm looking for a new place where i can get to know people and possibly make new friends/contacts as where i am is very isolating and is not good for anyones state of mind. I am easy to get along with and very conscious of others and there privacy. I am a bit of a clean freak at the same time and cannot stand mess or dirt and things being un-organised.
Hello. My name is Daniel and I am a 24 year old law student in my final year of studies. I am a big fan of chilling out and would ideally like to develop a friendship with my new housemates. At the same time, I completely respect other people’s space and privacy. I consider myself to be pretty easy going so I’m very willing to accommodate any sort of house rules and any pets would just be an added bonus for me. P.S. I also come with a coffee machine and TV if they’re needed. Just a little added bonus to sweeten the deal.
Hi Guys, we are two girls from Germany looking for a lovely place to stay ! My friend is on her second year and I am on my fourth year visa. We are easy-going, friendly, open-minded, relaxed, tidy and foodlovers. All we need is a nice place to live , where we can create are own little home. Either sharing a doubleroom or two small single-rooms. Also don't mind a studio-apartment or similar. Our budget is 500$ together per week. We can move in from the 31.01.2017 . We are down for an occasional drink or two but during the week we are both working and studying. :-) Definitely not after hosting massive housepartys but occasional get-togethers. Definitely two responsible , chilled human-beings and won't bring you any trouble. Also happy to sign a lease for 6 months and contribute a creative touch to the new home. :-)
Swedish Uni student who will study in Macquarie University this year. I will be working part time in CBD so will be going back and forth between my Uni and CBD by train. I am tidy, social and easy going. Love to spend time with friends but also respect private time for rest/studies.
Hi all ! My name is Nicolas, 26y-o, and I’m really interested in the place you’re offering. About myself, I’ve been in Sydney for almost 3 years now and planning on staying for a while. I just finished my Master Degree in public relations & Advertising at UNSW. I’m currently working full time in hospitality (Messina Gelato) and looking for a job in public relations and advertising for a label, magazine or anything related to the music industry. I’m a positive and respectful person, independent but I like socializing especially with the people I’m living with (sharing a meal from time to time, have a few drinks these kind of things). I play the guitar and I am a big fan of music (mostly through my headphones so I don’t bother anybody). I am chill and open minded, and a decent cook when it comes to it, though I don’t cook all the time. I always clean after myself and respect the common areas. I love going out for coffees, drinks and spending too much money on concert tickets (when I'm free from Messina). I'm usually pretty busy since I've started a couple of businesses with a friend of mine, but I'm always available for a chat. I have experience in sharing a place with people, I travelled a bit and am used to different people, different culture and I am flexible about pretty much everything as long as it is respectful to others (I spent 1 year in San Francisco, 1 year in Dublin, 1 month in Tokyo). I have to leave my house in Rosebery (that I am sharing at the moment with 3 legend Aussie girls) at the end of this month but am pretty flexible with the move in date. If you think I might be a good fit, I’m available for a possible inspection. Looking forward to hearing from you ! Nico
We are a relaxed and easy-going couple. Both of us are working full-time and are looking for a place as we are both just moving to Sydney. Daniel is Australian and lived in Queensland for most his life. Karina is Brazilian and a recent graduate going into her first job. We both like the outdoors and healthy lifestyles.
We both are active people, we like to do sports, to go to exhibits, to go out to restaurants and for evening out with friends. I love cooking so we tend to eat at home as well! We are easy to get along with, can be as quiet as socially active. We love to hangout and grab a few beers/glasses of wine. We're both happy and open-minded people. Agathe is finishing the second year of her master degree in Hospitality Management at Blue Mountain School in the CBD. She also works as a front desk attendant at Best Western hotel in Glebe. She is french but left her country 11 years ago, living in different continents. She is very social, altruistic and clean. For myself, I am doing my working holiday visa in Australia and will be finding a job in a cafe/restaurant/bar. I'm Canadian and taking a gap year from my undergrad in business. I love to be surrounded with good people and share the vibes. We've been living in Far North Queensland together for the past six months working in hospitality. We're hoping to find a nice place with lovely people who also like to keep the place tidy. We would love to be close to the beach and believe Bondi would be the best for Agathe's daily travels to the city.
Hi I'm Tom, I'm a very sociable person, and am always clean and tidy. I'm currently working an office job in the city, and love to surf, eat food and keep myself busy. I'm from England and unfortunately have to leave oz in March as my visa runs out!
Hi! After 2 years sharing a place in Waterloo, I am looking to move closer to the beach. I am searching for a great place (private room / bathroom) in Bondi or Coogee to share with nice people. Rent should be 400$ max (all bills included). I am planning to stay in Sydney a few years. I work full time during the week and I am enjoying everything Sydney has to offer on the week end. I don t spend a lot of time at home but I am always happy to share a glass of wine or dinner with my flat mates!
I am an Italian student who has travelled the world and lived in different places. A 3-months internship at UNSW finally brought me to Sydney. I am a quiet and calm person, but I still enjoy to spend time with friends and to connect with the people I live with. I am looking for a relaxed and friendly place to live in, a place I can call home, even for only two months. I like cooking, social dances, reading and hanging out with friends. I absolutely love travelling and exploring new places, and love sharing my experiences and stories with others :)
We are both software developers looking to settle in sunny Sydney and came here with skilled permanent residence visas. We love reading, practicing sports (Yoga, Swing dances, Running, Snowboarding) and having a good party from time to time. We play board games as well :)
I’m a clean, sociable, positive and easygoing person. Apart from studying I like working out, cooking food and enjoying the nature. Financially I’ve got both study support from Sweden and sufficient funds to cover my entire stay (almost a year).
Hi! I'm a happy, social girl from Germany. I work as a self-employed translator and e-commerce consultant. I've lived in Bali and have just arrived in Sydney and therefore looking for a place for at least 3 months, but open to extension. I'm into a healthy lifestyle and do a lot of sports, especially surfing, crossfit and yoga. Therefore not a party person and a non-smoker. I love the outdoors and spend a lot of time outside. Often on motorbike trips or camping over the weekends. I generelly get along with most people as I'm quite uncomplicated and easy going. But I prefer someone who values personal space and likes to keep it quiet during the week.
Hi! We're an English couple (Izzy, 26 and Nick, 27), just arrived in Sydney after 3 months travelling in Western Australia. We're hoping to be here for the next few years and need to find our first Australian home! Izzy works for an advertising agency in Surrey Hills, whilst Nick is on the job hunt at the moment but has experience from the UK so it shouldn't be too long. We're both into the outdoors, the ocean and love animals. Both very relaxed and tidy. We love a good party and night out, but aren't really looking to move in to a party house... A nice chilled vibe is more what we're after, a base to work in the week and explore our new home on the weekend! When we're at home we'd love to hangout with our flatmates, but also respect the need for people's own space and would also like the same of our space. Some days you may not see us as we have a few friends here and like to spend a fair amount of time out with them or as just the two of us. We're both pretty active, swimming, running, cycling and who knows maybe surfing!! Ideally we would be looking for similar minded flatmates, clean and relaxed, up for a good time, just not some absolute nutters!! If we sound OK get in touch we'd love to hear from you. x
Hi there, I'm looking for an unfurnished room with own bathroom, off street parking would be nice but not a must have. Looking to share apartment with just one other person. I'm a professional worker originally from NZ and have been in Sydney since Oct 2015. I'm looking for somewhere to call home and I completely understand the need for respect of personal space. I'm a social person that would rather go out to meet friends and my normal weekend includes a 6km walk each day with Sunday being housework day. I also like to share a meal or drink with a flatmate once a week as its makes for a happier home. My lease expires mid February and I'm looking to move sometime that month. P.S. Yes I'm also an All Black fan.
My boyfriend (Thomas) and I will be moving to Sydney on the 20th of April. We are from Belgium and are both working. My boyfriend is an automation engineer and I'm a research assistant in the field of natural disasters/geographer/cartographer/geography teacher. I'm actively looking for a position but my boyfriend already found one! I felt in love with Australia 3 years ago while I was on the working holiday visa as an Au Pair. We both like water sports and are very social people. We would be delighted to get to know you; even to go for a drink. See you around! Best, Thomas & Alizée

Have flatted for years so know how to consider and respect others space + live tidy! Looking for a 3 bedroom or more flat preferably so it's more communal and hoping for some cool flatmates to live with! :) Would ideally live in a house where we can enjoy a bevvie or two and dinner occasionally, but all have our own stuff going on as well. Hey, I am a Canadian female living in Sydney while I study my masters at Western Sydney. I enjoy travel, hiking, reading, nature, netflix and listening to music. I'm friendly but respect privacy and am very clean.
I'm an 18 year old student at the University of Sydney looking for a single room for the next year or longer. I'm very clean, quiet, love to cook and am also very active. I'm an early riser and like to chat and hang out. I am from rural Australia, born and raised on a farm. I've lived out of home since I was 11 at boarding school so am very good at looking after myself. I would love to live with friendly people but definitely know how to respect privacy when needed.
Hi I'm Gina, I'm an English 23 year old and I'm coming back to Sydney on my 2nd year working holiday visa. I'm hoping to be able to find sponsorship in Sydney so I would prefer a place to live long term. I would prefer a private room but also happy to consider sharing with 1 other tidy person. I'm happy to go anywhere in Sydney as long as its not too far out from the city. Close to a beach would be great! I enjoy keeping fit, I love cooking and I'm quite an adventurous person.
Hi! I will be doing an exchange semester at UNSW and looking for a room/flatshare/flatmate during that period. I'm 21, from Belgium but studying in Canada. I am very open-minded, social, clean and super excited to explore Sydney and its surroundings, and also to meet new people.
We are a French couple looking for a new share house asap ! We are currently living in Ashfield but our room mate wants to move out so we need a new place we can call home. We are clean, tidy and easy going people. We are both working in construction around Sydney. We are quiet people who like time to time to rest in their room but also share and talk with nice house mates ;) If you're interested to meet please let us know. Claire & Antoine
Hi! I am Dana, a 21-year-old Dutch girl moving to Sydney this February to do an internship in fashion. I'm looking for a furnished room in a shared house for about 5 months. Really looking for a place to call home. I would love to have dinners/wine together after work or on weekends. Also I'm very excited to explore Sydney and meet new people! I'm a social and easy-going person and a really clean and considerate housemate. Oh and I love cats:)
Hi! My name is Lieke. I am currently studying International Management, and the semester in Sydney will be the last part of my masters. I am looking for a room close to/in the neighbourhoods of Newtown, Camperdown, Ultimo and Redfern. Preferably I would like to share the house with other students. I am a fun person to hang out with, but can be serious at the same time. Since it is the end of my studies, I will have to study quite a bit, but I would love to sometimes cook, eat or drink a glass of wine together. Moreover, I am a tidy and clean person.
Hi! Tam here! I am an architect, enrolled in a Master's Program at University of Sydney. I am 33, been working for over 10 years and won't be bouncing off the walls as I will busy studying and working!
Hey Guys, I'm Marina, 24 years old from Hamburg, Germany. I will study for 5 months in a postgraduate programm (business administration), but I won't have that much courses I plan a lot of activities :) Afterwards I would like to travel Australia! I like to meet friends, love cooking and eating, doing fitness, sing and play on my guitar. Don't worry, there is not much space my guitar in the suitcase, so she will be left home. But you maybe have to face with me singing in the shower :D I also love to take fotos and would like to get tennis training, because I was used to do it in my childhood and want to play it again. Or is surfing the better alternative? I am very cherful and joyful person, which can't stand boredom. At least I have to read a book quietly in my room :) I am flatshare-proofed (for 5 year with different persons) and i am tidy and responsible. I choose an evening with friends and a bottle of wine over a house party. I'm so curious to meet you and all the best! Marina
Studying Engineering Masters Part Time and Working Full time in the city. Continuous learning to level up and desire exploring different places. Enjoy the meaningful discussions, and working on engaging projects. The usual mix of sports, music, tech, games, kind of person but these days a little busy. Currently searching for a new place near public transport closer to the city, south of the bridge to avoid the toll. Anyone with interested in trying to group 2+ ppl to find a place lets have a chat :)
Used to work at a lighthouse on the north coast but accidentally got a job in Sydney. Start-up lifestyle dictated I grow a moustache and now I wear glasses too. Lived in Redfern for the last three months and loved it. Looking for another nice place and nice housemates to call home. Flexible with moving date, I'm mainly keen to find chill housemates.
I'm a well-balanced human with plenty to share yet know my bounds. I absolutely love being amongst great company yet just as equally love my own space. I work in Project Management with an education in Architecture - not to mention many a life experience along the way. I'm super respectful of people, their personal space and property and would appreciate the same in return. Genuine and open minded and make a point of not judging people for who they are (I don't do drama very well). I aim to live a holistically healthy lifestyle by eating well and keeping active. I don't watch TV (only movies) and tend do it in my own space if I do (I'd prefer to bond over a good conversation). I love my music (although some would question my song choices) and am also a lover of clean spaces and tend to be a bit of a minimalist at times - there's nothing more satisfying than coming home to a clean and positive home. I don't mind sharing a bathroom as long as there's a powerpoint for my electronic toothbrush (yes, I'm one of those people). I like to think I'm heaps of fun and love to lol and yet I manage to be upfront about things that may be of concern - communication is mucho importante! I come with a tiny dog (Louis the long-haired Chihuahua) who is FOMO at times but is always great company to those around him (let's just say that everybody that meets him thinks he's fantastic to be around). He spends a lot of time with his grandparents (especially during the week) so he'll be another well-balanced presence. Check me out/contact me on IG: etndbs Peace.
