Hey, I'm Christina, 26 years old, coming from Germany. I love to explore and travel different countries and cities, which is why I decided to come to Sydney to spend a semester abroad at the University of Sydney for 4 months (postgraduate programme in psychology). I'm very open minded and outgoing. I'm into techno music and all kinds of festivals (music, art, food etc.). I also like to go for a run, do yoga or just hang out with friends with a glass of wine or a good movie. Since I've been living in shared flats for the last 6 years, I'm used to this kind of living already and have no problems with keeping a place clean. I like to spend time with my flatmates, for example while cooking or going out together. But closing the door behind you and having some time to yourself when you feel like it is absolutely fine as well. I'm looking for a lively flat with interesting flatmates so that I can get to know Australia and Sydney not only as a visitor but be part of this city! Hope to hear from you soon!
I'm Caitlin. I just moved back to Sydney a few months ago after doing a stint in Auckland (from the US originally but don’t hold it against me). I’m honest to a fault, independent, and very clean. I'm always up for a glass of wine with my housemates but know that people like having their space too. I have a master’s degree in maritime archaeology, which basically means I love shipwrecks. I'm currently doing a certificate in project management in hopes it'll help me get a job in my field. I currently work at a market research company. Let me know if you are doing any viewings.
Me and my partner are looking for a place to stay, we're both fairly introverts with one who is working and one studying. we're hoping to find something long term with other people we can vibe along well together with. both me and my partner are avid gamers as well
Hey I'm Rhi, I'm from the UK, and I work in TV Production out here on a working holiday visa. Sometimes work long hours and odd weekends but will very rarely say no to anything - serious FOMO'er! Always down for a family night in, a cheeky few down the pub, any novelty class/event or comedy night and even, sometimes, a run or gym class. Genuinely love cleaning -like to keep a place tidy. I'm after the right balance of home comfort and hangouts but not into a 24/7 party house. Previously living in Manly which has been a DREAM but my upcoming job will be based inner west so looking at Newtown area or central. I am currently in Indonesia having taken a month out so I fly back on the 25th and start my new job on the 30th. Ideally looking to move straight in on the 25th! Happy for either a bridging short let whilst I find something until end of November (when my visa expires) or the full period. Obviously will just have to communicate over FaceTime! Oh and I come with a cute little pet fish! A hangover purchase, so you could be in with a lucky inheritance! Joking (not joking)
Hi everyone, my name is Bram and I am from Utrecht, the Netherlands. I am here in Sydney for 5 months because I am studying at the University of Sydney for a semester. I am really looking forward to exploring the city and when I am done with studying to travel to other cities in Australia. I like to go to bars or pubs, to have movie nights and just hang out with friends.
I am polite, respectful, friendly, open-minded, and always happy for a chat. I love sports (all kinds but specific interest in futsal and badminton), and music. Also, I am into game nights and Netflix binging, but also need and understand the need for some space and alone time.
Hey, My name is Valentin, I’m 21 Originally from France I’ve moved here 10 months ago, to enjoy this wonderful country. I’m working in hospitality (hotel) on a full time contract. I’m friendly, sociable, clean, I love talking and taking some times with my flatmates while watching a movie with a glass of wine !
Graduated from Uni a bit over a year ago and proceeded to explore the world. But alas, it's time to start my professional career. I'm coming from Perth to start full-time work in Sydney. My favourite things are traveling, Ultimate Frisbee, and casual snacking. I'm a pretty social guy, I love making friends from around the world. I'm new to the city and hoping to meet some fun people. I'll be working during the week but like to go out on weekends. Always up for a drink and/or a chat, or a cheeky Frisbee toss, if you don't have one I've got you covered, I've got three ;) I'm not OCD or anything but I like to keep things neat and clean :) Some other GOOD things about me: Impeccable hygiene: Daily showers; range of deodorants/colognes Adaptable to preferences of leaving toilet seat up or down Good at making nicknames Some NOT SO GOOD things about me: Cooking experience currently limited to cheese toasties Occasionally sing in the shower (but I do take requests) If you think I'd be a good addition to your flat, of if you'd like to teamup and start a new flatshare I'd love to hear from you :)
Hey all, I’m Stacey, I’m 24 and from the UK. I work full time in HR in a not for profit organisation in Kings Cross. I’m out a lot of the time but when I’m home, I love a chat over a cup of tea/glass of wine. Tad of a neat freak but also want a place to feel homely and lived in. Currently attempting to be healthy, although it’s not really going to plan with the amount of good bars/restaurants in Sydney. I’m looking for a place from the middle of August from 2-4 weeks. Sublet would be ideal. Look forward to hearing from you. :)
Hello! I’m a 24 year old Swede coming to Sydney for postgraduate studies at University of Sydney for one semester. For me it’s important to stay with social people I’m having a good time with rather than everyone minding their own business. Ideally, I'd like to live with other students. I enjoy travelling, watching movies/series, reading, having a beer/glass of wine, working out, going to the beach. As a person I’m easy going, extrovert and tidy. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers William
I am from Sydney but have spent the last 4 years living abroad in Vancouver (CA) and London (UK). I would like to move into a place by aug 1-15. I do not have a job yet however I have a lot of experience bartending in breweries so would like to live close to newtown/marrickville where the breweries are. I am very confident I will find work either in a brewery or bar pretty soon although I do have enough money saved to get me by for rent for 6 months. In Vancouver I was a lease holder in a share house of 6 people so I am a very responsible and clean person to live with. I enjoy living in a social environment instead of being hidden in my room, though I do respect others downtime. The most important thing I am looking for in a flat is garaged parking as I will need to park a small motorbike and bicycle. I can be available for viewings on the weekends, I look forward to hearing from you! Toni
I'm an international student that is going to be studying at the Sydney Uni. I consider mylsef as a very easy going person, and friendly. I would like a roomate that is female only and that doesn't mind to be a bit quiet so i can study.
Hi, I'm Noah and I'm 27 years. After working for the past 4 years as a journalist and an activist, I'm now excited to get back to studies -- Public Policy from University of Sydney. When I'm bored, I like to read, cook, and socialize. I really like to keep my place clean and tidy. At a party I love to dance, and sometimes I might be the only one dancing. But at home, I like to relax, listen to good music and chill. I also love to have some good and open-minded conversations over wine or beer. If you want to talk about social justice, politics, or new shows on Netflix, I'm all ears.
My name is Andrea, 30yo Italian. I’m a professional hospitality worker (restaurant manager) and I’m leaving my apartment in Newtown after 2 years. I have always really wanted to get closer to the ocean but I am in love with the inner west. I like reading, running, ride my bicycle, my motorbike and, of course, wine. I’m looking for a place that I can call home, with someone who I can get along and share a glass of wine. Or two. Working full time in a restaurant I have mainly mornings and Sundays off, so that I can relax and enjoy the beach and the outdoor.
I am a very enthusiastic and spontaneous exchange student from the Netherlands! Very open to meet new people and enjoy having a drink, or just hanging on the couch to watch a movie. I love swimming, photography, exploring, and spontaneous plans! :)
My name is Greta, I'm a 22 year old student from Germany. I'm going to study at the University of Sydney for one semester from August on. I am an easy going, friendly and organized person. I don't smoke and I like to keep my flat clean and tidy.
I am in my early 30s and am looking for a private room in a sharehouse. I'm from Argentina but have been living in Australia for the past three years. Right now I'm living in a share house in Canberra but I'm moving to Sydney on the 22nd of July to begin studying a PhD in Economics at UTS. I like playing soccer, getting outdoors and drinking red wine. I cook great "asados" (Argentinian barbeques). I ride my bike a lot to get around and am flexible about whether I bring my car with me to Sydney. I'm easy-going, tidy and handy with a toolbox. I'm social and like sharing a meal with friends (especially "asados") but respect privacy and personal space.
I'm a 25 year old guy working full time in renewables looking for some roommates to kick back and relax with when I get home and on the weekends. I'm planning on starting a new share house and furnishing up the place myself. The most non-pushy vegan you will ever meet. Big fan of football and sports in general. Also I DJ once or twice a year - needless to say we will have a very nice sound system in the house. If you guys would like to team up let's grab a drink/dinner and see if we kick it off! This is starting to sound like a terrible tinder profile description...
