What would it take for an absolutely amazing experience to show up in the form of a house share that was put together as an experiment focused on providing everybody exactly what they wanted ? With loads of experience sharing many different arrangements, I am looking for a house share where people actually look out for each other as the primary concern. What surprises me most is that when I know I'm in such a place, everything else is negotiable.
Hi! My name is Elizabeth I'm from Seattle WA and will be studying at ACU for a semester. I was currently studying in Europe for a semester, so I'm excited to keep traveling!! I'm laid back, organized, and I like to go out and meet new people but also enjoy my own space and time. I'm super excited to explore Melbourne as I hear it's a very hip and artsy city and Australia has been on my list to visit for years:)
Hi! My name is Miranda. I'm a 26 year old Orthoptist who has recently started a new job at the Cabrini Hospital in Malvern. I've lived in lots of sharehouses and am happy to have a chat and share a meal or drink with housemates but also very happy doing my own thing. I like to get out of the house a fair bit for running, yoga, hikes, and exploring Melbourne.. hence perfect housemate! I'm also a vegetarian but don't mind if you arent. :)
Moving from my hometown of Perth to Melbourne in pursuit of a more exciting life in a bigger city! I'm an avid musician, writer, and world-traveller studying literature, and I'm definitely interested in team-ups with other creative types, starving artists, and students in general. The more of us there are, the easier it'll be for us to afford a place fit for throwing parties and hosting couchsurfers! ;) Move in date and preferred length of stay are definitely flexible, and so are my preferred suburbs; although I would rather live somewhere a little more vibrant and central, I'm totally willing to compromise for the right roommates and housing situation. My goal here is to give myself and other students/artists an opportunity for affordable accommodation (anywhere from $100 to $200 a week per-head, preferably on the lower end of the spectrum, even if it means sharing rooms), and to create an environment comprised of diverse, interesting, and like-minded people and good vibes! But I certainly can't do it alone, and don't know anyone in the city -- so if you're interested in putting together the grooviest communal house in Melbourne, please let me know! All races and genders are welcome. LGBTQ+ friendly.

Professional working full time. Quiet clean and tidy. Friendly, easy going, respect personal space. Looking for long-term accommodation. Relocating from Brisbane, originally from Hong Kong. Have been sharing house for 5+ years. Prefer a private room with own/ ensuite bathroom. Owns a car, needs parking space.
Hi there! I'm a 24 year old recent university graduate who is making the move from Adelaide to Melbourne for work - a 9-5 in a policy position with the Victorian Government. I like reading, writing (or, more accurately contemplating writing), binge-watching shows on Netflix and exploring new places. I'm a pretty laid back person and I'm not against having an occasional drink or hangout with my flatmate but I'm also cool with just doing my own thing. I view home as a sanctuary, a place to unwind after a busy day. I also like having a tidy place (I'm not anal about it though) and am big on everyone contributing equally to keeping the common areas neat.
I'm clean, considerate and quiet. I love to socialize and really enjoy a fun/meaningful conversation. I'll be starting med school soon, so I'll probably be buried under heaps of work for that. But when I do get some spare time, I'll either be reading, hiking, travelling, or just exploring cafes and galleries. Looking for someone who is accommodating and great in their own way! I'd love a clean, tidy place where I can have my own bathroom. Shoot me a message if you've got a good fit. Thanks!
I'm a newly graduated nurse from Adelaide searching for a place to call home for the next 5 years in Melbourne! The reason for my move is because I'll be working part-time while studying my Masters at Monash. Although self-proclaimed, I'd like to think I'm a great listener! Am very respectful of others' space, likes to keep things tidy and clean while being easy to get along with. In my free time you'd most likely find me watching movies, baking, heading out to a yoga session or finding my next favourite dessert place/jazz bar!
I've currently just got a new full time job and wanting to move closer to it. I love Netflix, chocolate and pugs. I enjoy socialising with people but also love to spend time by myself, I want a place that is relaxed and not a party house.
Hey there! I'm going to begin studying as a full-time student in late February at Swinburne, and I'll be doing a degree in Media and Communications. I come from the Geelong region and I am currently working in a casual position at Woolworths, but I'm hoping to find a more steady income soon. I am looking to move up to Melbourne within the next 2 months to make studying easier and to gain some independence. I am an intense film lover, which includes a wide range of film knowledge as well as an extensive collection of DVDs, VHS tapes and books about film. I am a great lover of dogs, (sometimes I just look up pictures of corgis and have an emotional meltdown), and I one day aspire to own many. I have a few allergies, including nuts and cats, however nothing too severe. I have a great sense of humour, I can keep things (relatively) clean, moreso in common spaces than my own personal space, and I respect the need to have some alone time every now and then.
Hey! I'm Alex, and I've recently moved from London to Melbourne for a couple of months. I'm half British half kiwi and am working here full time to get away from the British winter and enjoy Australian sunshine. So a bit about me, I'm a massive foodie and love the really good restaurants Melbs has to offer. I like walking, exercising and generally all sports, music and a good glass of wine in the sun! I'm super clean, I hate dirty places and I'm very easy going and good to live with!
I am a full time worker in my 20s looking for similar people to share with! I have lived in a number of fantastic share houses before so I am definitely house trained and consider myself easy to live with. I'm after for a social house, but not a party house. Look forward to hearing from you!
G'day, you could call me Kao, 22 year-old girl from Taiwan. I regard myself as honest, tidy and love-sharing person. My hobbies are reading and cooking, also a big fan of tea and coffee. I could not define myself easily while I am a genuine person and willing to make friends with everyone. Now I am looking for 4 week accommodation ( until Feb. 19 ) and hope the district is in or around the Melbourne city. Thank you for reading! Kao
Hi, I'm Kerri, an Engineer/Computer Scientist. I've moved to Melbourne for work and I'm looking for a great flatmate and a great place to live. I work full time and am pretty quiet. I enjoy spontaneous weekend road trips and learning new things. I have a car, so I'd prefer to find a place with a parking space. I'm a non-smoker, who is also pet and child free.
