My name is Caitie, I'm 24, originally from Adelaide but have spent two years living in London and the past year living in Melbourne. I work full time in South Melbourne, so I'm pretty melow on weeknights, but enjoy socialising and being out and about on weekends. :)
My boyfriend and I are looking for a place to live while studying at Latrobe and Vic Uni. We've both lived in share houses before. We are both friendly, chilled and love music, will hopefully be getting out and going to gigs as often as we can. Cameron loves his gaming and we both enjoy being couch potatoes from time to time, we also like getting outdoors and going adventuring. We both hail from the country, so still adapting to the city life.

Moving date is flexible. I am tidy and respectful and easy to live with.I don't like drama and believe everything can be solved with a conversation . British Permanent Resident looking for person/people to start a flat share with from January. I work in residential education and will be at work upto three nights per week. When I am home, I am looking for flatmates who want to share house dinner or trips to the pub. I am looking for this to be a Home as opposed to being a place groups of people live. I like to keep a clean house, but am more then happy with the lived in vibe. For a potential flatmate, I am not bothered about Gender, Race, Age, Relationship Status etc as long as we get along, you are happy to pay half the rent and be on the tenancy then I think there will be no issues. I am looking for anywhere in the Northern Suburbs and am quite happy to wait for the right house.
Hey everyone, I'm Nick and I'm a sociable, well traveled guy who loves nothing more than to meet new people and share stories of good times. I'm a travel agent , I work set shifts between 6.30am -11pm on any given day of the week. I love sports, "trying" to cook, dinners with friends (at home or out) and just socialising in general. I do enjoy the odd beer or wine but my bender days are most definitely over so if you live in a place that is the place for after parties, I'm not your guy. I'm a clean and tidy bloke that's looking for a nice place to call home.
Hi, My name is Paola, I'm 26 and I'm a kindergarten teacher. I've been renting with other people for the past eight years. I'm originally from Italy and have lived in Melbourne for the past four years. I'm reliable paying rent and bills. I'm neat and tidy and enjoy keeping the place clean. I'm looking for a single room in a shared house where I can share a meal or a drink with my housemates as well as have my own privacy and quiet time. I rely on the public transport system so I am looking for a place near a train station or tram line. Feel free to message me if you think you have a place to suit my needs. I am looking for a place to move in from February 2017.
Hey, I'm Scott, and I'm making this ad on a Saturday night, while eating chicken schnitzel and drinking beer. Says it all really. I'm moving to Melbourne as of the 1st of January, from sunny/humid Brisbane; and I'd actually love somewhere to park my caboose at night! I'm gainfully employed, punctual with rent/bills, and respectful of space/cleanliness. I am a bit shy at first, and try not to impose on space or people or anything - but it would be great to make some new friends in town. In my free time, I kind of run the music/video games/tv gamut (if you're excited for RPDR S9, hmu), and I love to bake desserts (plus I clean up after myself). What am I looking for in a share house? I need somewhere to stay short-term, around four weeks to two months, and furnished; everything else is open to negotiation.
Hi I'm Kelly, I was born and raised in Rome, Italy but I've been living here for the past 3 years. I work for a couple of catering companies in different venues throughout the city like Melbourne Museum, Crown, MCG and the MCEC. I'm also at my 3rd year of Business Leadership and Management. In my spare time, I love watching tv shows (I'm totally addicted!), going to concerts, read or just have fun with my friends. I'm not a heavy drinker, but I do enjoy a glass of wine or a couple of pints of beer. I don't smoke and I don't drink coffee, but I love to cook and eat good food (I'm Italian after all haha). I like footy even if I don't understand all the rules yet, I also love music and art. I speak Portuguese, Italian, English and Spanish. I'm looking for a private room in a quiet house with nice housemates that are happy to have a chat and enjoy some time together every now and then. As a housemate I consider myself to be very quiet, clean, neat and polite. Most of the times you won't even know I'm there! :)

I'm a Male professional working in IT, non-smoker looking to share a house or unit with preferably an Asian or Indian lady in the East/Sth East Suburbs. Willing to share the cooking if you would like. Not interested in party house just a quite respectful person that we can communicate with when at home. Also if you have children I don't mind as sometimes I would like to have my 5 year old daughter come around on some weekends. If you have a room available or are looking to share with someone please don't hesitate to email me with your details or questions. Kind regards Andrew
Hi I'm Rob, a friendly and clean New Zealander, i've been living in Melbourne almost 5 years now. I'm 28 and currently working in the sports and events industries, with a busy summer lined up. Also i'm going to be studying a few more courses part time next year just to keep myself busy. I like to eat fairly healthy and try to get out riding a few times a week. I've lived out of home for 6 years now, so i know how to be considerate of others and all the house basics like paying my bills on time and cleaning up after myself without being told. Love animal's so that would be a bonus if you had any :) Prefer non smokers
Hi there, my name is Gemma and I am 25. I study full time (completing my Masters) and I work every other day so I am not around very much. Every evening I am at the gym so I am someone who really enjoys taking care of myself, but I do also love to have a lazy weekend and sit around and watch movies and eat chocolate. I have a small (but fat) dog named Gus. He is a pugalier and has to come wherever I go. He is very affectionate and will love anyone. I'm good to live with as I respect people's privacy but I am also fun to be around and easy to chat to.
Hey guys, My partner and I are a fun and friendly couple that love to work out and eat out but also enjoy cooking and lounging out at home on our days off as well. We're a tidy and respectful little team that would love to get together from time to time and hang out and make some new friends. Thank you for your time and consideration if you would be happy to live with us give us a call
Hey I'm suzie, I'm 27 and looking to share a place with some easy going and down to earth people. Ive been a disability support worker for 5 years now, with a background also in personal training. I love a good chat, but also enjoy my own company. Currently live in Malvern.
Hi , I'm Irene 27 , Moving from London to Melbourne for the Summer till 2017 of June. I've lived in a Creative warehouse share with a bunch of creative people where we can call it home when I was in London. I have experince to live with others and I'm also looking forward to meet amazing housemate when I move to Melbourne. I'm a tidy person (but no O.C.D.) very social person but also like to be a listener. I'm a big fan of Outdoor sports but also love art and music. And I'm good at cooking ! ( bonus ?!) My reason come to Melbourne is for Working Holiday but also want to promote my business that I set up in London - which is selling Taiwanese street dessert. So I'm planning to do some pop up event in cafes and bars. very excited !! I hope you will find me interesting and give me a chance to have a viewing Looking forward to hear from you. Irene xx
Hi, I'm Sharlyn and I'll be starting school at the University of Melbourne. Currently, I'm doing an internship at a local PR company and traveling a little. I'm from Singapore, and am fluent in English (and Chinese/Mandarin, a teeny bit). I'd consider myself clean and tidy-ish, but not overly so. I'm an introvert, but pretty friendly and definitely open to making friends. :) Ideally, I'd prefer to have my own room in a sharehouse, and to stay with girls. I have two dogs at home (a husky named Neko and a frenchie named Oki!) so animals are fine.
Currently in my 3rd year of Uni studying full-time, doing a Bachelor of Science at Monash University and I have another semester to go after this year with the possibility of further studies, either doing a postgraduate or Masters degree. I enjoy keeping busy during the day and between studying, volunteering and working part-time as a dental assistant and customer service officer, I don't really have time for much else. I do enjoy going out on weekends but I am not a party person at all although I wouldn't mind the occasional party but I'm not the type of person to go overboard - In fact, I'm really sensible. I'm a bit of a neat freak (clean and tidy), easy going and relaxed. I will mind my own business and happy to do my own things but will socialise or happy to have dinner together, etc... I currently live with 40 people and get along with all of them although I don't see all 40 at once. I'm definitely a really independent person and have been from a young age of living by myself so I can take care of myself, the house and being mindful of other people is important too! I'm looking to either share a house with 1 or 2 people, preferably someone who studies or a young professional who is working OR to go into an existing house that may have 1 or 2 people already sharing. More than one bathroom is preferable along with a garage to house my car, but not essential. Looking to move out end of this year or early next year before uni resumes in March. In saying this, I am open to any ideas so please ask for more information to get to know me!
Hey funky friends! So here's the boring stuff straight up - My name is Alannah, I am from the South Gippsland region and I finished Year 12 in 2015 and have had a nice gap year this year and am studying Psychology at Deakin University in Burwood in 2017... So, you know, I gotta find me some good ol' accommodation. Not too costly preferably, as I am a classic poor Uni student. 😅 Now to the good shit. I am a world-class Mario Kart 64 player so if you're feeling it we can 10/10 have a tournament (I'll supply the goods - controllers, console, wine etc) or we can just play any 64 game together and swim in our nostalgia and your tears when I kick yo' ass. Wii, DS, XBOX and PlayStation games are also welcome with open arms. 😘 Sorry to fit the stereotype that vegans tell you they're vegan even when you don't ask, but, I am vegan. I don't care if you're not vegan. We can have sausage sizzles and burgers and massive fiestas together and we'll drink some Sangria and release our inner Spanish sides (even though my heritage is purely Scottish, English and French 😅) and, I don't mean to toot my own horn (I do) but I make a meeeean vegan spaghetti bolognese. Sausage rolls, too, that have been approved by many Omni's. So why wouldn't you have me as your house mate? If you have some little beings living in your house I'll like you even more. Woofers? Meowers? Sqwarkers? Squeekers? Oh yas, bring 'em on, baby. Brownie points for you if you got dem pets. My hair color will change frequently depending on my mood. No -unfortunately I'm not Nymphadora Tonks - I just wear wigs. #theredhairisfake #imactuallyablonde I'm not a massive party animal, but if you're having a party I'll totally join in. And all jokes aside, I am very respectful and will give you space and be clean and all those top qualities. Hit me up with a message if you'd be keen on finding a place together. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hey there! I'm Kiah, 24 and looking to move back to Melbourne after spending time back in my home town in country Victoria. Finding full time employment has been brutal after graduation so I'll be biting the bullet and returning to university to do my Masters of Social Work at RMIT. I'm a pretty laid back person who spends way too much time binge watching tv series and uses my free time to bake up a storm.Yes I'm willing to share the deliciousness.
I am a great housemate! Tidy, respectful, friendly and love to cook. I come with a Cocker Spaniel named Dougall who is fully trained. He just lost his sister and is very attached to me but loves people. I am looking to share with down to earth, busy people or a person. I love to socialise but also like my own down-time as I am in the process of writing a book about my juicy life so far. Lol. Hope to hear from you.
Hello! I'm Todd from the UK. Looking for some similarly ages housemates to move in with or move into an already established shared place. I'm a hairdresser, but I also enjoy a tonne of different things beside that! I'm a lovely, sociable, and creative being!
Hello, I'm a single man working full time, looking for a place to call home. I'm very clean, tidy and easy going person. If you believe that I could be your new flatmate, text me please!
I'm an international student at Holmesglen, Glen Waverley. I'm working toward my degree in Early Childhood Teaching. I'm very quiet, always clean up after myself, keep the common area tidy and prefer spending most of my time in my own room. But I am very considerate, friendly and respectful. I love reading, binge watching something from time to time, and travel somewhere as soon as I save up enough money. I've stayed in a shared house for a year now in Melbourne, so I know how to respect everyone's privacy and personal space. I'm looking for a place that is near Holmesglen or close to train/bus stop, about less than half an hour commuting from the place to Holmesglen and 10 mins for groceries. I prefer a private room, quiet, bright and clean. I'd love a room with lots of natural light, big and clean window very much. If your place also has a front and/or yard or a balcony just so I can sit outside, read books, breath fresh air and bathe in some sunshine, I'd be very glad. If you think I'm suitable to be your housemate, please let me know with a message through Flatmates or my email. I'm currently in Vietnam so you can't reach me through my Australian mobile phone number, I'm sorry about that. Thank you and have a great day!
I'm a 22 year old paediatric occupational therapist. I'm looking for a place to move out of home to that's closer to my full time job. I'm easy to get along with, tidy and sociable. I love animals, travel and socialising with friends and family.
I'm looking to secure an arrangement WITHIN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. I'm an American student attending San Francisco State University. My partner will be studying abroad at Uni Melbourne and I've come across a great opportunity to go with her. We'll need to move into a place at the end of January / beginning of February. I would describe us as studious and low key, though we do make sure we're getting out and having fun. I'm majoring in technical and professional writing and would continue my studies during my stay in Melbourne (fortunately all my classes are online). I also plan to work part-time during my stay. My partner will be busy with her studies at the university. We're in a hurry to find a place IMMEDIATELY to move into at the end of January/beginning of February!
Hi, I am a full-time professional searching for a private space that can include either a whole apartment, a studio or shared space with my own bathroom in the areas listed. I prefer to live with a female in a quiet space. I am mature and have a pet dog, basset hound, completely lazy, pretty much sleeps all day and everyone that meets him loves him. I am quiet and private but friendly and have a routine that keeps me quite active. I work in the non-profit sector as recently finished studying graduate law.
Hey guys, my name is Julia. I just moved to the big smoke from the lovely Gold Coast thismorning. I have always wanted to live in Melbourne and now I am here! Life is good. I am looking for a room in north Melbourne, no further than Coburg. I'm cool with a big house with lots of rooms or somewhere small. I have a cat named Sage. She's an inside girl, low energy and is desexed and twelve years old. She spends most of her time sleeping. I'd love for her to feel safe and at home where we go. I'm an artist who is looking forward to all of the creative opportunities Melbourne has to offer. I'm not a 9-5er. Hit me a message because my hearing is crap (ish). I am super friendly, relaxed, accepting, open minded and LGBT friendly. It could be rad. 😊
Hello future housemates, My name is Caity, I'm 23 and I'm from Adelaide. But for the past two years I've been living abroad in Manchester in the UK. I got to travel pretty extensively through Europe and have now been to 28 countries. I work mainly in hospitality, my most recent job being in front of house at the Cirque du Soleil show Amaluna while it was showing in Manchester. Cirque du Soleil is also the reason I am looking for a room to rent in Melbourne. As the show Kooza is in Australia at the moment and will be showing in Melbourne at the Flemington Racecourse from mid January until mid March. So I'm in search for accomodation from around the 6th of January until around the 16th of March. I enjoy cooking and baking, being adventurous, going for walks and hikes, reading, watching a good tv show (probably too many) and going out for a good coffee date. I fancy myself a pretty laid back person, I enjoy spending time with the people I live, sharing a meal and a bottle of wine every now and then. While also having personal space and being able to veg out in my room all day sometimes. So if you have a spare room that fits my short term requirement please get in touch with me.
I am a respectful and accommodating housemate. I like my privacy but open to the occasional chit chat, I am tidy, lead a pretty healthy lifestyle and I am easy to get on with. Also, I love music, sport, cooking and outings .
Friendly, chilled tidy English guy looking for a room somewhere north of Melbourne. I like going to the gym, doing a bit of photography and love a night out on the weekend. I'll be working in construction and looking to move in for 3-4 months any time before mid December. Cheers
I'm a PhD student at University of Melbourne. I am from Colombia and have spent my last five years living in different places abroad, the last two living here in Australia. I'm really laid back, easy to talk with. I'm tidy and clean or at least try to keep things like that. I want flatmates to socialise with but also keep each other privacy. During my free time, I like to watch TV/movies, explore the city, go out with friends, try restaurants.

we are both tidy we are loud tenants we don't argue we respect the privacy of others we rent on time we are hardly home on weekends as we like to see bands and socialise we require a room that is no more than $280 bond
Becca - From the U.S. and am working full time. Just graduated from uni back home and am taking a year off from school here in Australia. Byron - Melbourne local studying full time and also working part time (~30 hours/ week) Both very independent in what we do and tend to spend a fair bit of time out side of the house. We do enjoy cooking at home most nights however are still up for checking out Melbourne's endless restaurants and bars. Have both lived in share houses before and like to consider ourselves respectful of all others.
I'm a 25 year professional working in the AFL industry, who is looking for a place around the inner Essendon area. I enjoy keeping fit, going out for a social drink and just chilling out wth mates. Feel free to contact me if you believe you have a room that might be of interest. Cheers, AJ
I am a super friendly, down to earth and easygoing person. I am respectful towards every living being. My positive and happy attitude towards life is what people have always liked about me. I love playing soccer, chess. Recently trying to meditate. oh yeaa, I love to cook.. i am really good.. seriously lol.. My ultimate goal is to learn as much as I can in this lifetime.
Hi there, my name is Melvin and I've recently moved here from Perth in search of a better work opportunity. That, and probably a bit of study down the track. Presently working as a warehouse assistant and rostered on only week days so my weekends are open. Recently joined the thirties club, friendly and easy going chap with a dry sense of humour who looks and cleans after himself. Always good for a chat every now and then and happy to share a drink or two but also respect people's need for privacy as I like some quiet time myself. Listening to music is something I happen to enjoy a lot. I go to the gym occasionally but playing soccer is my passion. I commit to playing it x3 a week if I can manage but feel I'm getting really bad at the sport!
I live just outside of Melbourne, so im looking for a place thats closer into town! I have 2 jobs and i am studying full time at La Trobe Uni. I'm an easy going person, who can get along well with everyone but i also appreciate quite time during the week if i have to study. With time off, i am a brunch enthusiast, love going to gigs when i can, hanging out with friends and seeing what Melbourne has to offer! I'm looking for 3 - 4 house mates and i am looking to pay no more than 200 per week! Looking for a place to move into with people who don't have a huge age gap. (preferably 18 - mid to late 20s) or making a share house with 3-5 people. Thanks, guys
Hi, I am a new migrant here in Melbourne and on my try to find a job. I want a short term residence from 3-6 motnhs (own room, own bathroom and own kitchen) which might be extended based on my job location.studio apartment will perfectly fulfil my requirement. Regards Saikat
I am 23 years old, easy going, tidy and health oriented. I am looking to move out of home for the first time, and am eager to be fully independent! I work 9-5 type hours, and am very stable. Interests include basketball, music (not a musician), fitness, movies/TV and cooking. Preference is to have a 2-4 person household with other 20-somethings.
Work for Aust Post and also manage a DJ which keeps me busy so yes I like electronic music! Clean, neat and tidy and spend some time oversea's and interstate so want a quiet place to come home to. I have a car, no pets but love cats and dogs. AFL fanatic as well as a long suffering Tiger supporter. Move date is flexible and will wait until I find the right fit as I want a long term arrangement. I have my own furniture so unfurnished is preferred with own bathroom. I would like long term with flexibility. My current share has been over 6yrs, the one before that was also 6, I'd prefer an owner occupier as I don't really like to move a lot and want something semi permanent.
I'm quiet and clean, I love keeping gardens and reading in them. Otherwise i like playing around with new recipes in the kitchen. I do odd jobs for a living to bring in money but have centrelink to fall back on when its not the season for work.
I'm a neat, tidy and laid-back person in full-time employment in Clayton looking for similar-minded folk to share a place with. I work from 9 - 5 Monday to Friday, and in my downtime I tend to either play video games, waste time on the internet or play the guitar! NBN / Cable internet would be a big advantage. I am friendly and sociable, but also respectful of people's personal space and downtime. Regarding the location - anywhere between the city and Clayton would be ideal, as that's where I work :)
Hi! I'm Lisa, I'm just completed my Nursing degree at Deakin. I have a graduate year with Monash Health starting from late January. I am super organised, and great with bills. I'm tidy, but not overly OCD with cleanliness. Working shift work will mean that you'll have the house to yourself some nights, but it also means that sometimes I'll have to do night shift and will need to sleep during the day. I am easy to get along with, but I'm also all for personal space. I am an artistic person in the sense that I have tattoos, and I love creating different looks with my hair ect. I just want to move in with someone who is super easy going, and will happily watch The Walking Dead with me! :)
Hi! I'm Maylee from the Philippines. I have been working in a fashion retail company for more than two years back home and now have decided to pursue my masters here at RMIT. I am easy to live with as I am organize and clean with my things. If I will not be busy for school, I can be a fun food, party, sports, and travel buddy. Hit me up!
Hi! I'll be moving to Melbourne from Perth early 2017 to study post grad Screen and Cultural Studies at Melbourne Uni. I would ideally like to be close to uni/public transport. I'm looking for a social house, where we can share wine/watch Netflix, whilst respecting each others quiet time. I enjoy cooking and baking if you'd like to share meals, I'm a veg but don't mind meat eaters. I love my AFL, yoga, can speak German, will probably be singing around the house and am relaxed and easy going. Pets would be great, as I have to leave my gorgeous dog behind. So please get in touch if you have a room opening up in Jan/Feb. Thanks :)
Hello potential future housemate! I am an extremely friendly, reliable and great candidate to become your future housemate. In addition, I have a friendly (and lazy) inside cat, and we are looking for the perfect housemate to keep us company! I have just finished a Masters of Teaching and have secured a full-time teaching position that will commence in 2017. If you think that I sound like someone you would enjoy living with, or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
