Hey! I'm looking to move to Adelaide in February, before uni starts up at the end of that month. I'm very easy going, love travelling and nature. Looking for a relaxed house hold with others who are like minded, and also tidy. I like doing my own thing, but also am down for a chat or a glass of wine on occasion. Ideal length of time would be a year, but open to a shorter commitment.
I am 24 years old with a full time job in admin. I was born in Adelaide and I studied for 3 years in uni, now I am ready to move out of my parents house. I get along with everyone and have an easy going attitude. I keep to myself and respect others privacy (but I will also happily go out for food, coffee, walks etc). I am also clean and tidy! My hobbies include hiking, scuba diving, and I love the beach!
Hello! My name is Julie and I am 24 years old. I am an exchange student from Denmark and I will be studying full-time at the University of Adelaide from February till July, hence seeking a room for this period of time. (I am flexible with the dates) I am a social, easy going and open-minded person. A side from spending time studying, I love hanging out with friends, going to museums, reading and cooking/baking. Why choose to live with me? Well, I am easy to get along with, pleasant company (so my grandma says) and I am a good cook (and willing to share!) I will also be a considerate flatmate, who knows how to keep a home clean and nice. Let me know if you have just the right room for me! Sincerely, Julie
I am easy going, friendly and respectful female. Non smoker, clean, tidy. I currently have part time job in hotel and I'm studying master of hospitality in Unisa. I appreciate to have my own space and I understand others want same. p.s. Im looking a room with private bathroom.
I am a full time PhD Student at The University of Adelaide. I am respectful, tidy, non-smoker and very social person. I enjoy playing soccer, hiking and going to the nature in my leisure time. I am clean and don't leave a mess, and will do my fair share to keep the house clean! I am not interested in a big share-house arrangement and would prefer to live with one or two other person. I'm looking for a somewher near the Adelaide Uni.
Hey I'm Anna, I'm 21 years old. I work full time as a dental assistant so I'm never home during the day. When I am home though, I like to clean, a bit of an OCD freak when it comes to a house being clean. I also love cooking, will always have a home cooked meal over takeout any night. I'm super easy to get along with. In my spare time, I like to read books, when I'm not cleaninhg, or see friends. Don't mind a bit of Netflix here and there either. The weekends are the only days I get off so when it comes to the weekend I usually go out with a few friends for drinks or I'm at home watching movies!
I have recently moved from Darwin, to work as a Swim coach here. I am training as well as a national level swimmer. I am very relaxed and friendly and love meeting new people. I am also transferring to Flinders Uni to study a double degree of languages and international studies. When I am not working, training or studying I love to read, cook do woodwork.
Hey :) I’m Siân, 24-year-old full-time student & part-time worker. I’m keen on renting somewhere in or close to the city & ideally a newly built house or apartment. Please note, my move date is March 11th (can probably go up to a week before this) but pretty firm on the date as I am on the lease for my current place and it's just not really logical for me to be paying 2 x rent :) My two main must-haves are an inside laundry (where you won’t be fighting off spiders just to do your washing) and whole house air-conditioner (I’m not one to always have the air-con on, but spending the last two summers in houses that don’t have any air conditioning at all has made me realise you really do need one for those 34 degree nights!). I am a vego/vegan but not bothered by what someone who lives with me eats! I’m super clean, love reading, binge-watching new Netflix shows and chilling out with some music. I’m someone who can’t sit at home all day, and I’m constantly out doing something. I have two jobs and in my spare time I volunteer as a coordinator with Sea Shepherd, I'm also a full-time Communications and Media student at UniSA. Would love to find someone who is nice & clean as well as easy going and easy to live with. If this sounds like you, hit me up!
I am a quiet and considerate 42yo male looking for a place to rent, and a nice person or two to share that place with. I'm fairly new to the site so please forgive any mistakes I make. My ideal would be to share a house with one or two other people. It could be a new place that we find together, or an existing place that I can move into. Perhaps you've just lost a housemate and need someone to fill the space. Perhaps you're moving out and need someone to split the bills with. Perhaps you own a place, have some space, but need some help with the bills. All sound good to me. I've been at my current rental for almost eight years, sharing with one person, who I've shared previous places with as well. I was caught out recently by notice that my rental agreement is ending, so I was scrambling to sort out a new place to live quickly. Thankfully I was able to organise a short extension, so I've now got until early March. My current housemate has other plans, so it's just me this time. I would have difficulty renting a place on my own place right now (too expensive), but would like more space than most single room rentals can provide. I work in IT, generally software engineering. I am clean and fairly tidy, although my desk can get a bit disorganised at times, and I might only make my bed properly if we have guests. ;) I am very quiet and considerate, and am only really comfortable living with people who are reasonably quiet as well. No noisy or party houses, it just won't work. I keep to myself most of the time, but do like to be sociable on occasion. When I am, I'll sit down with you and play card games, board games, or computer games, or perhaps watch a show we enjoy. Or just chat. Or head out somewhere. I am friendly and generally get on well with most people. I get along with a surprisingly wide range of age groups, so if you're fine with me, don't let an age difference be a barrier. Gender, race, and sexuality are no issue either. I am a gentle and non-threatening person and not imposing in any way. Hopefully you are similar. You should be friendly or kind, preferably both. :) I am looking for a place ideally in the north-eastern suburbs (eg. Modbury, Ingle Farm, Golden Grove), preferably within walking distance of a bus that ends up on the O-Bahn. Whilst I have a car (old, but maintained), I find access to public transport convenient. I'd prefer to avoid expensive suburbs or places too close to the city, due to cost. However, I'm flexible. I don't want to go too far south as most work in my field is either in the city or in the northern suburbs. Although there are certainly some lovely suburbs out that way. :) I do not smoke. I'm fine if you do, as long as you're fine smoking outside. I don't really drink but I don't have an issue with it, as long as it's not unreasonable, and you don't mind me drinking water while you drink your beverage. Neither of us should have substance abuse problems, be aggressive, or violent or anything like that. I need enough space for a queen-sized bed, bedside, large desk, chair, and various accompaniments, but I'd be far happier with more space, hence wanting to split a house. I might be open to a place that can *just* squeeze this in, but only for the short-term as I'd want to move to a bigger place eventually. Space for furniture in common areas is a plus. I have a lot of furniture, appliances, and so forth, but much of it is older. If you have your own, it is probably better than mine. We can juggle furniture to match what you have and the house we live in. I'll store what I don't use before I move in. I have no pets. I am extremely allergic to cats and anything with feathers, so if you have any pets like that, then sadly it won't work. I would prefer someone without pets, as it makes finding a rental far easier. I can be flexible if you own or already rent a place and have a friendly dog (or similar) that you can promise won't eat me or my belongings. Whilst I love animals (especially dogs), my preference is to visit rather than live with them. Pet rocks are fine, as long as they are house-trained. ;) At home I will mostly be wherever my desk is, usually working away on something on my computer (usually software development) or with electronics. I'm almost always working on something. My budget is roughly $200pw, but this can be compatible with a lower or higher budget of yours as well. I can certainly reduce this figure, down to $150pw or so. If you want to pay more than me, we get a bigger place and you get the best rooms. If you want to pay less, then we do the reverse. We'll figure something out. I have rented for roughly twenty years. I have lived in a number of places, either by myself or sharing with one other person. Never missed a payment, never lost a cent of bond. I'm fairly comfortable being around one other person and also very familiar with what it takes to keep a household running. I prefer to live with people who are also comfortable running a home, understand what is involved, and are happy to share the workload. I prefer to split chores evenly by default and then swap them around to make everyone happy. I am an acceptable cook, and prefer to make my own meals rather than eating out or ordering in most of the time. My food might not be very fancy, but it will be enjoyable. My ideal is to live with someone who prefers home cooking, so that we can take turns making dinner. If you enjoy cooking, I'll do more of the less glamorous chores if you want to cook more often. I like eating dinner together, but I'm fine either way. I am fairly open and honest. I'll tell you the good and bad about myself. There is a good amount of the former, and not too much of the latter. I'd like to know about you too, so we can make sure we are compatible as housemates. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. I'm on a fairly low income at present so have to be frugal in the short term. However, I've had a long career with a lot of experience and have a First-Class Honours degree in my field, so hopefully that won't be a problem for much longer. In any case I'd prefer to share even once I've sorted that out, as I like the company and sharing lets you live comfortably in a nicer place whilst also saving some money. This is my first time renting with someone I haven't personally known already- every other time has been on my own or with a friend. To be honest I'm a little nervous about it, but I'm sure it'll turn out okay. Making a new friend out of the whole thing would also make me really happy. If we get along fine I'd potentially be interested in sticking around for quite some time, potentially even moving house together with you if we want to upgrade or downgrade. If it doesn't work out, I'll help out where I can to make sure we all end up somewhere where we'll be happy. If I sound like someone you'd like to live with, drop me a line. Don't worry if we're not a 100% match, there's a lot of information here, and I'm not searching for my clone. ;) I get on well with all sorts of people. I've just upgraded my account so you should be able to message me for free now. If I'm someone you'd be happy to live with, I don't want you to have to pay or wait until you can message me. If I can find a good person or people to live with it'll be worth the cost. Initially I'd like to swap some messages to figure out if we're compatible as housemates, and then potentially catch up for a coffee or similar. It is important to me that I find good people that I'm happy to live with and that are happy to live with me. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Better to ask than wonder. I hope to hear from you soon. :)
Hi, our names are Kaitlin and Tom. We’ve both moved to Australia for a working holiday, and are looking to be living and working in the Adelaide area for about 6 or 7 months. We are quiet and respectful, but we also don’t mind a communal meal/movie/game night every once and a while.
Hi :) As a person I'm easy-going, grounded and accepting of others. I am studying a bachelor of health science and hope to pursue a career in Nutrition & Dietetics. As a tenant I am considerate, respectful and will happily contribute to the cleaning and up keep of a household. Having been raised as an only child I naturally like having my own space and time to myself. I truly love the outdoors, fashion and having a laugh. I am the kind of girl who will keep her room clean, stop to say hello and always be happy to lend a hand. I'd like to share with a stable person(s) with a similar positive attitude and genuine nature.
Hey, My name is Neeve and I'm from Tasmania. I've been on a few exciting adventures in the past year, including my first overseas trip to Europe and then explored New Zealand. I'm looking for a new adventure and Adelaide is it. I'm an easy going person that loves chocolate, tea, avocados and Hugh Grant. I am tidy, respectful and honest. I'll be in Adelaide from the 25th of January and am really keen on moving ASAP. Please message me if you have a room available!
I’m a bubbly, easy going person with a positive outlook on life. I keep to myself & I am a clean person. I work for a medical cosmetics company as a Business Development Manager & I also am a lead singer in a Soul Rock band (don’t worry - we have our own practice room) ☺️ Please do not hesitate to ask any further information - I would love to chat with you.
Hi I'm Mia, - I'm looking for somewhere near Adelaide Uni but also close to King William buses/transport, or Adelaide Train Station in North Adelaide. - I moved to Adelaide from Melbourne one year ago. - I'm single with no car or pets, and I don't smoke (but fine with these things). - I'm social and friendly, I like to catch up with housemates and share a drink/meal every now and then. - I study law part-time at Adelaide Uni and work also full time so I am often pretty busy. - Willing to pay up to 200 pw if this includes bills/utilities/internet. - Price pw & length of stay is negotiable, location is not :-) I look forward to hearing from you !
I am a debt free, employed, single, mother, with a reliable car relocating on short notice from the south west corner of WA for my 5 year old son's education. I have a degree in Mathematics, experience in accounts/admin/tourism, a history of volunteering and can transcribe braille so should have no trouble finding work on arrival. My son is very well behaved (and neat) for his age and likes to sleep in where possible (incl Christmas morning) so you don't need to worry about him waking you in the mornings but we do value peace and quiet of an evening. We aren't able to bring our furniture etc with us so would prefer a furnished place if possible. My son enjoys karate, soccer and cycling but most of all talking whilst I prefer laughing, reading and cross stitch when I have the time. We both love swimming, Lego, cards and boardgames (always looking for more players). As my son still crawls into my bed almost every night, we are prepared to make do with a double room.
24 year old student in final year of study at University of Adelaide. Very sociable, busy and active but also a big studier. Love the beach, traveling, yoga, music and movies. Do some painting and charcoal in my spare time. Moved from Melbourne 5 years ago and have lived in share houses since. Clean and considerate, non smoker. Looking for down to earth roomies who won't mind a couple of drinks or some movies when we're all free. Added bonus if you love wine or are particularly passionate about a good wall hanging. Have 2 rooms available in current rental (see listing below) as both my house mates are moving to the country next year. Alternatively if struggling to fill them, would be interested in teaming up to find a new rental. Car park required.
I'm clean, respectful, honest, friendly and non-smoker. I'm very social and am happy to share a drink/meal with housemates every now and then. I work full-time as an Accounts Officer in Adelaide CBD. I am also studying towards my CPA Qualification. I am a very clean and tidy housemate. I enjoy my own space and respect others. Happy to do my part around the house without reminders. I am also very reliable and always pay my bills on time. I love outdoors and going to the gym regularly or walking at the park. I am very quite and love to live in a quite and positive environment.
Happy New Year to you all. I am a mature aged man who is young at heart and fun to be with. I am seeking short term accommodation during February and March 2018 while I am in town for the Adelaide Fringe. Would prefer somewhere within walking distance to the city centre or handy to public transport. My exact dates yet to be confirmed, but will be approx. February 12th - March 20th. I would be happy if you have just a couple of weeks available in that period. I will not be home most of the time except to sleep and consume a morning meal, but would be nice to catch up with house mates either at home or at the Fringe. I am house trained, non smoking and considerate of others. All I need is a clean, comfortable bed in a reasonably quiet household. Cheers, Woody
Experienced Flat Sharer, friendly and courteous. Reliable to pay everything on time, and keeping common areas clean. I’m out during the day almost all the time, usually home for dinner and happy to be social or respect peoples privacy.
