Looking for a clean and reasonable housemate to either move in with or to team up and find somewhere together! I currently work full time hours and lots of late nights so I’m barely around to make mess or noise. I usually keep to myself when I’m home and won’t keep you up at night. I’m very respectful of other people’s belongings and won’t use what is not mine. I have an inside cat that would be residing with me who is very friendly to people and would need to respect keeping indoor. Would love to hear from people who are interested (:
I'm a pretty normal type of guy. Easy going, respectful, reliable. I work full time Monday-Friday (6am-2pm) and like to keep busy on weekends. Please feel free to send through any further questions as I obviously haven't gone into great detail.
In my free time I like to do fitness or cooking dinner together. I’m not a party mate but I enjoy having a good talk. Easy go, quiet and clean living mate. Often I drive out for camping or fishing on the weekend.
My name's Sam, 19yo working as an overnighter at hungry jacks at the moment whilst I wait to get my licence back and resume studying mechanics as an apprentice at MTA. Been through a few sharehouse so I feel like I've picked up good, clean living habits and know how to give space but always keen for a beer and a chat. Pretty heavily into my music, play drums but don't worry I won't bring a drum kit 😂 unless you aren't opposed to loud noises Look forward to the opportunity of meeting you!
I am 20, I have a Bachelor of Science and am currently doing my honours. I am neat and tidy and friendly. I work hard but am always up for a cheeky glass of wine and cheese. :)
Hi! I'm currently on the hunt for a house or a room in the eastern/southern suburbs with floorboards throughout and a backyard big enough for some veggies. I'm studying Environmental Management & Policy at the University of Adelaide full-time, and working at a Norwood cafe on weekends. If we lived together I'd cook you delicious plant-based meals and watch bad netflix shows with you.
We are a young LGBTQ couple, who either work full time or are at university and working part time. We are very clean and respectful of others, and enjoy staying at home with face masks rather than partying.
On my own but would like my 14 year old daughter to be welcome anytime. I work full time in Adelaide and enjoy coming home at the end of a work week and enjoy the simple things in life such as music and wine. I am not vert outgoing and prefer a quiet life.
Hi, my name is Chris. I am an honest, trustworthy, hard working and super clean young man that has lived in Mitcham most of my life. My schooling was at Scotch College so I am very familiar with the area and the south eastern suburbs in general. I am always willing to help out and contribute as much as possible to keep a positive living environment and I enjoy relaxing and having a few wines/beers on weekends. I think my level of cleanliness is well above the average person so rest assured I will keep and look after a home as if it were my very own. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any further questions or would just like to chat regarding team-ups for properties. Thank you :)
Hi, my name is Rachael, I'm 24 and work full time as a speech pathologist! I'm looking to move out of my family home into a place a little closer to the city. I'm tidy and respectful. I like my own space, but enjoy a chat over a coffee or wine and watching trashy TV. Would love to be able to be friends as well as housemates! I have everything to furnish a house (excl. fridge), so I would love to bring some of my own things as well. I also have a beautiful Ragdoll cat, Loki, who loves a cuddle and will sleep most of the time. He is an inside cat and must not be let outside because he won't come back :( x
Hi! I'm planning on moving from Brisbane to Adelaide hopefully in October this year as I'd like to become a flight attendant with Virgin in Adelaide. I currently work at the airport in Brisbane for a ground handling company and would transfer down to Adelaide and wait for Virgin to hire for the new year. I'm very easy-going, clean, friendly/bubbly and I have been working in America the last 3 years at a summer camp, so I LOVE to travel! I love binge watching shows on netflix, taking naps (my job is shift work) and also going out with friends to chill out and have a cheeky drink. I'd love to be able to make friends with my fellow flatmates and hang out every now and then :)
I'm 20 years old and currently in Queensland. I will be moving to study International Development at Adelaide Uni in July. I'm fairly introverted and quiet and like my own space. I don't party or drink and am very respectful/ don't like drama. Chilled out vegan. Love cooking, gardening, yoga, nature, exploring new places. I have a friend in Adelaide who can check out places for me.
G'day I am from a smallish country town called Whyalla (you’ve probably heard of it. . . .or not). I was studying at the Whyalla Uni SA but quit to pursue my business making costume jewellery. My main goal is to move to Adelaide “Possibly” the next year 2019, to continue my foundation studies and work towards getting a bachelors degree in business. As far as what I have in furniture (I live in a 2-3 bedroom post housing trust house) they are as follows (can sell some gear to make things easier to move), I am flexible with household furniture (i.e. Lounge room), but some bedroom furniture is NOT!!! (I have and like my own bed & tallboy) - Q Bed - fridge/freezer - kitchen table + 4x kitchen chairs - washing machine - 2 seater and 2 single 70s seater lounge suite (more suitable for under the verandah/outside) - 2 bookcases - 2 coffee tables (large) - a metal rack filled with DVDs (at least 200) - 2x wardrobes - 2x desks - 1 large kitchen hutch - 2x tallboys - printer - craft gear (beads, bracelets, necklaces, button fridge magnets etc) - storage boxes (some are filled with gear) - crockery + kitchen appliances etc - bedding & bathroom gear (quilts, towels, fitted sheets etc) - 1910-1920s Estey pedal Organ My personality is and can be at times maternal, distant, hostile, bossy, caring, kind, nurturing, punctual, honest, independent, loyal, receptive, practical, foresighted, respectful, resilient, leadership, steadfast, love learning new skills, music maniac, idiosyncratic (odd, peculiar, unique, different) always helping others improve themselves &and their goals, can keep secrets, isn’t a snitch. As for looking for a house with roommates, i'm kind of one of those people who wants to know EVERYTHING in terms of house rules, where specific shops (being a country kid, you get used to having one, or living in Whyalla there's 3 or 5 more or less of the same/similar shop), also who does the grocery shopping, spraying weeds, who does what chore for the house, who's the "Alpha" of the house (the person that looks after everyone else) etc. If there is anything more you would like to know about me, please don’t hesitate to contact me, and thank you for taking the time to see my listing. Regards Claire
Hey guys! Just moved to the CBD after doing vintage in Mclaren Vale, and now I'm looking for a place to live for a bit before my Visa is up in January. I am heavily open minded, nature loving, a painter, and creator of all sorts and love love love to cook. At the moment I have income from the states and I am looking for work now. I'm always down for a chat, and love to just unwind after a long day and drink a glass of wine.
Hi, I'm looking for share accommodation close to the city, I'm 51, very responsible, easy going, non smoker, professionally employed in real estate. I have a maltese dog (11) and my own home in the country, so I would only be there Wednesday to Friday each week. Thanks!
Hello, I’m a 24 year old law student at Flinders looking for somewhere to live in between the uni campus and the city. I grew up in Adelaide but have also lived in share houses in England and Malaysia. I have a degree in Politics, International Studies and Philosophy and work part time as a student support worker at a high school. Hoping to find down-to-earth, clean and friendly housemates. I would like to move into a fairly social household who also respect my need to study. I definitely need a car park but I don’t mind if it’s on-street parking. I have a fair bit of furniture/kitchenware etc. I would like to find somewhere relatively long-term. More than happy to live with someone who has pets. I’m happy to answer any other questions you might have :)
Hey there! I have just returned from a year of travelling with my girlfriend and I am actively looking for a room to rent. Whilst I was away, my family moved to melbourne My girlfriend and her family lives in adelaide. I was only in melbourne for two weeks before realising it is not for me. I am currently working in hospitality with plenty of hours so you might not see me all the time, I am very friendly and easy going! At the same time I can be to myself and respect personal space. I am still currently finishing my course which should be any time now! I enjoy relaxing on my days off by spending time with good company over a drink or hermit-ing my self and playing video games! I am very reliable and have a good ethical attitude, I feel that I would be a great housemate and would not let you down. Best Regards, Cameron
My partner Daniel (male 29) and I (female 30) are looking for two rooms (they don't need to be big rooms, we just need two rather than one big one) for about six months if the place doesn't allow pets, or hopefully long term if we can find a pet friendly place as we plan to adopt a cat at some point. We also love dogs and all other animals but at the moment we don't have any pets. We are pretty quiet but also friendly and like to get on well with our housemates. We are open minded and down to earth and get along well with most people. Both of us like to keep living spaces clean and tidy and when at home we like to do gardening trying to grow vegetables or watching movies, reading, making and eating lots of soups etc we're not as boring as we sound really. We would love to make friends with our housemates and maybe watch horror movies together sometimes or other stuff at home but we are perfectly happy to just keep to ourselves if you like more alone time :) I'm a student at Flinders and Dan works and studies. Always pay rent and bills on time and can provide references. Been at our current place for a couple of years and only moving because we need a bit more space. I'm really hoping to have access to a bath tub because I've really missed being able to have the occasional relaxing bath :) and also some outside space like a good size courtyard or even an actual garden would be amazing. We can pay up to $350 per week if room has a bed and bills are included. Otherwise more like $300 max. Can move from about 8th June or maybe earlier.
We consider ourselves an organized and sociable couple, we like to cook and also we like quiet and clean environments.
Hello! :) I'm Grace, I'm 20 and I'm an early childhood education student at Flinders. I love watching movies, baking, travelling/road trips, seeing family and friends, and going out to eat - breakfast, lunch or dinner! :) I love to have a good chat, and I'm clean, tidy, and respectful of other people's space and looking for someone who's the same. Originally from the Adelaide Hills, but I've been living out of home for two years (one year living abroad and one year renting in Parkside). I come with a lot of my own house furnishings (fridge, microwave, washing machine, couches, dining table) and would love to find someone who is interested in starting up a new home together where I can use all of my stuff :) I'm currently house sitting until next week so needing to move ASAP. Please send me a message if you're interested in making a home with me! :) x
I am a 23 yr old male young professional, also wrapping up studies at uni. My girlfriend is a 21 yr old female, studying full time at university. We are a joyful, dedicated but relaxed couple looking to rent **TWO ROOMS**. We love a few drinks occassionally but are focused on getting our work done. If one of the two rooms were to be available before and the other after, that is not a problem as we do not need to move in at the same time. Would love it if one of the two rooms was an ensuite but thats not a requirement. A bit of flexibility with furnishing is preferable as my girlfriend would potentially like to accommodate her double bed. A safe neighbourhood, locks on doors and decent dedicated housemates are a MUST. Availability of parking on the property would be important as we have one car but on street parking (in a safe area) can be accommodated. Please get in touch if you can propose a place similar to these requirements. Happy to team up with fellow room hunters with similar requirements! Look forward to hearing from you soon :)
Hi there, I am an international student and I also have a part-time job at the moment. I am responsible, friendly and easy to get along with. I like to live an active but also sometimes quiet lifestyle, love to travel, meet my friends, love to do gardening, I don’t mind reading a good book or watching a nice movie ... I am a non-smoker, honest, clean. I am open for a nice talk but also respect (and need my) private time, I am respectful (of course also towards other peoples stuff) and I would consider myself as a happy, quiet and relaxed person. At home I am a photographer and social worker… what else... just ask me. ☺ I get along with my current flatmate very well and I am not in a hurry to move, just want to find the 'perfect' new home for me. Why? I would love to be a bit closer to the city. I also would love to do a bit of gardening (growing a few herbs and vegetables), so if you have a garden and you are fine with that, that would be great. I am for sure not a party animal but I like to have a friend over just from time to time to have a movie night or drink/dinner together. So it would be nice, if you don't have problems with that. Would be a pleasure to hearing from you! :-) Thanks
I am very chill and easygoing, and I keep things tidy. I will probably have my head down studying a lot of the time, but I love people and am certainly keen to socialise. I kind of just adapt to whatever the vibe is in the house, I like to socialise but I also don't mind spending time by myself if need be. I'm new to Adelaide from Perth, and I study Psychology at University of Adelaide. I like getting to know people, chatting about any topic, running & keeping fit, playing/writing music, and I like to get out in nature when I can. I'm not against the occasional social drink too.
