26 yr old professional looking for a room to rent at the beginning of May when I come back from holidays. Looking for a friendly social place around the Paddington, Milton, Spring Hill and New Farm areas. I work in an Architecture firm in the Valley. I'm a pretty social, friendly guy and am looking for a social household (not a party house) that likes to hangout and do things whilst respecting peoples privacy. I like to get out and about on the weekends, usually mountain biking, indoor rock climbing and other adventurous things. I'm negotiable on price depending on what's included but hoping to find a place with an offstreet parking spot for my car and some storage for my bike and other camping gear & stuff. I also have some furniture i can contribute, including a microwave, washing machine, dining table, TV cabinet and coffee table. If you think you might have something suitable feel free to send me a message. Mike
Hi I’m Madeline! I’m an American student currently studying in Sydney and am moving to Brisbane at the end of June to conduct research at UQ. I need a room for a little over a month and would prefer to live with people around my age. I’m really easygoing, clean and usually cave first when the garbage gets too full and everyone is avoiding taking it out. I’m not loud and will keep to myself if need be but I would prefer to have flatmates that like to have a few drinks together some nights. I enjoy hiking and being outside and I’m really excited to explore Brisbane!
Hello ! We are two professionals in mid-20's(Chemical engineer and Barista). We are very easygoing, friendly, quiet, clean, respectful and of course, we share chores. We are not party animals but are always up for a good talk. Non-smokers and pet-friendly. We both love working out and hiking to discover new places. We also like reading, computers, board games, photography and travelling. If you want to know more about us, please feel free to ask :) PS: If you want to offer us a room, please attach your mobile phone number.
I live a healthy and positive lifestyle, like nice surroundings and a pool. I am wanting to find one or two great people who are non smokers as housemates who would be happy to team up with me to get a house.. I am happy to pay the bond but need to know I have the rent shared....I have furniture and kitchen equipment but if you have some too I am sure it can all work for all of us . I live a busy lifestyle and love my down time and personal space when needed...I appreciate that others need the same. Please get in touch if you are interested in meeting .. I am open to other areas also.
Although I am 18 (turning 19 in May), I am independent and like to keep everything clean. I like to think that I'm quite quirky, I love music and am outgoing. At home I'm very laid back and usually spend most of my time in my room, but will still socialise if I see someone. I'm looking for a room to stay at while I study at UQ and work part time. I have been brought up in Perth and have only just recently moved to Brisbane, so I'm a newbie to this whole process really. I have one female cat named Millie (3 yrs old), she is an indoor-only DSH grey tabby and is the sweetest thing. Although she likes to do her own thing most of the time (sleep!), she is very well behaved, has never scratched the carpet, has never done her business anywhere besides her own toilet and is no where near a demanding cat, so she will be completely hassle free! :) If you have a room that would suit the both of us, please hit me up with a message! Can promise you, I (and cat) will be one of the best house/share mates you've ever had!
At first I was looking for a place to live by myself but then I thought a little better and decided to look for people to share the house with. I am totally new in Brisbane and I don't have any friends there so I thought that living with other people would be a good way of making friends. I am looking for a home not just a shelter. Therefore, I think it is important to give more details about me so I can find a good match here: * I am 35 years old. Brazilian architect who recently moved to Australia on February after my permanent residency was granted. I arrived in Sydney, I liked it here but after visiting the warm and wonderful state of Queensland, I decided to move to Brisbane. * I need to bring my stuff (bed, mattress, dresser) * I like to party sometimes but I don't like to throw real parties at home, (unless it is a special ocasion). I love cooking so maybe I'd invite friends for dinner once in a while but that's it. * I can only live with people who care about having an organised house. No need to be a cleaning freak but considerate and respectful with others. What you do in your room is your business but the common areas should always be kept tidy. * I am allergic to cigarettes and I really hate the smell. Weed doesn't bother me at all but cigarettes do. * I would love to have a pet, I like cats and dogs. If you already have one it will be WONDERFUL but if you don't have and don't want to have, I understand, no problem. I can live without having a pet for a while.
I’m a pretty easygoing housemate, I’ve been house sharing since I was 18 so I am easy to share a space with. I definitely want to live in a loveable but clean space and hence and pretty tidy in shared spaces. I enjoy catching up over a wine or coffee and would like a housemate who wants to do so too. I have a fluffy (tail less) cat called Nori who is very friendly and loves the outdoors hence I need a space with a little backyard or ground floor apartment. I work for Tatts group at Woolloongabba generally from 8-4, keep active with running and pilates and love music festivals, wine (red & white) and fancy coffee shops. I also love terribly cheesy movies and have a BA of photography that I don’t use enough. Furniture wise I have my own room furniture plus can contribute a tv, 4 seater round table, gorgeous big carpet and coffee table to the house. I’m looking to move to a new or established house with 1, max two people. Requirements: Own bathroom Yard space or access to outside for cat Quiet street Reasonable sized room Verandah in the backyard would be great Similar age (25-35) housemate/s Move date is by August as this iwhen my lease is up but if I find somewhere/one great before then I am happy to move earlier. Please contact me if you think we could be great flatmates :)
Hi, I’m Jay. I’m looking to leave my current enviroment as soon as possible so my move date is flexible. I’m currently aspiring towards study in Stage Management and Psychology. Not much of a drinker and I don’t smoke. I’m easy going and enjoy a laugh. I write for fun - ask me about my ships. I can also respect personal space when necessary.
I’m a 28 year old nanny living in Chapel Hill, looking to move out of my current situation ASAP either as a team up or into a place/sharehouse. I enjoy a social drink, cooking and just having a laugh when I’m not working. Looking for someone I can have a friendship with as well as a respectful, tidy and considerate flat mate. I’m super tidy, respectful and a really good cook with some quality jokes just wanting to be in a fun mature environment!
I’m a full time 2nd year apprentice chef from the Sunshine Coast so I love the beach, cooking and eating (how surprising) I think I’m a sarcastic weirdo and I’m great to live with because I’m happy, extremely neat and organised. I also cook! So there’s that ☺️
i'm a fulltime uni student, 8am to 6pm, so you wont see too much of me. When i am around however, i love talking to people and learning about them. i'm partial to a good house cook up where good music is playing, the wine/beer is on tap and people are having a good time. HUGE cheese addict, lover of movies, music, travel, comedy. i'm very considerate and attune to how people are feeling/ when they need space or want a chat. always ready to lend a listening ear and a hand. i appreciate cleanliness (apart from my room, theres always clothes on the floor. but idk how they got there) if you're down for an adventure, so am i :---) message me if any of this appeals to your roommate seeking appetite! im sure we'll get along.
Hi there :) I'm a conscientious, easy going housemate. I'm flexible with lease length, good with my finances, and have great rental history. Equally happy to live with people who keep to themselves as with those who want to be regularly social. I graduated from UQ at the end of 2017 with a BA in writing and film/TV. Been living on the Sunshine Coast with parents for the last couple months but I miss the city! And there are just no creative jobs up here. Some of my hobbies include digital illustration, horticulture, crotchet, trying to publish my writing, and being very into film and animation. I'm always up for a chat, movie nights, or whatever. I've done the whole sharehouse thing a few times with friends and strangers. What I'm looking for is an equal household where I have space, sharing with a person or persons close to my age, and most importantly with people who wont turn on loud appliances at 2am ;) Unless they're like downstairs... or we're all up anyway. I'm very reasonable but I've been burnt before Please message me for a chat, and if that goes well I can find my way to brisbane for a casual face to face :)
Hi there ! I am Megane a outgoing 26 years old swiss girl. I have been in Australia for one year now and I totally fell in love with the lifestyle and the people there. I just finished my farmwork and I am coming back to my beloved Brisbane ! I am a easy going, organized and respectful person. I like socialising the same way that I like staying in my space. I enjoy having a deep chat around a cup of tea, listening music, cooking homemade dinners (you will have to try my cookies, the BEST) as well as going out for a glass of wine (or 2 ;-)), a movie, a market, a BBQ, a stroll and so on. For me all is about balance :-) During my free time I love working out, exploring news places, going to the beach, cooking and reading ! I am looking for a room in a cosy, calm and friendly house. Do not hesitate to contact me ! See you ! Megane
I'm originally from Chile and have lived in Brisbane for more than five years. I currently work full time in marketing for a conference management company. I am very social and like to fill my weekends catching up with friends, going to the beach, listening to live music, etc. I enjoy going to the gym during week days. I like to cook and take my lunch to work. I love pets and I'd love to do a team-up with someone who likes dogs and wouldn't mid for me to get a dog (it's just an option- I haven't decided on this yet) I have furniture for my room, kitchen ware, and a dining table. I'm clean, tidy and considered. Would prefer to live with one or two more girls, although I'd also consider guys if it's a good fit.
Hi there, My name is Jess. I am 18 years old and am looking to move out of student accommodation in the Gold Coast and into a new home in Brisbane. I am an aspiring musician and hope to share a place with people who share this interest. I also enjoy making art and having new experiences. Moving to Brisbane, I intend to find a new part time or full time job, so I will not be in the house constantly. I am also planning on getting a dog and will take full responsibility of it. Despite my age, I have had previous experience paying rent and have lived with 4 house mates at a time (ranging in ages 18-25). I am a very clean and organised person, and will always pitch in to keep the house clean and make sure we're happy. Thanks for reading this and please feel free to send me a message :)
Hey there!! I am currently working full time as a legal secretary in the CBD so am not home during the days. I enjoy having a few bevs on a Friday or Saturday night (I mean it is the weekend) as much a I do a quiet night in. I currently have an 11 week old puppy called Harvey (inspo from Suits) who is a kelpie cross so will grow into a big dog so you have to be fine with puppy kisses and typical puppy behaviour that we are working on fixing!!!! A big back yard would also be ideal for him. He would also love another friend to play with during the day. I am looking for a place closer to Brisbane CBD (hopefully with Uber Eats , I struggle without it on the far north side, and some amazing Italian restaurants), preferably North side so that I am still closer to my family :) Would love a house with a mix of genders in their early 20's, late teens :) Flexible on moving date and period of stay
Hi there, I’m 25 years old and working in an office job in the city. I recently moved to Brisbane from Canberra and am looking for either team ups or available rooms. I would also ideally like some garage space and am flexible on the suburbs if there are reasonable transport links to the city. In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit, gym, 4wding, camping and the outdoors!
I am a marine ecologist moving to brisbane for full time work. I love all outdoor activities: camping, hiking, diving, swimming, sports and beach :) I will often be out of state or overseas for work and during the week I am quite busy. I am also very tidy and don't smoke and rarely drink :)
Hey my name is Crystal, I am a easy going 25 year old working full time in the city. I do work shift work so you might not see me a lot of the time, however I am social when I have time off and I do enjoy a good wine or beer and Netflix. I am pretty flexible around my move in date but the sooner the better. I don't have a car, I am a non smoker (but I don't mind if other housemates are) I don't have any pets but I would love to move into a place that has a cat or dog as I do love animals. I am looking for a place thats not to far from the city and close to public transport. I think thats about it for now :)
I'm a 24-year-old trans woman, part-time worker & creative looking for a lgbt+ friendly household. I'm very quiet and social. I am outside of the house a lot but it would be nice to find a place to also entertain a friend or two. In my free time, I like to read, watch movies, play video games, and try to keep active. I am currently trying a lot of different potential hobbies out so my time at home is limited. I'm big into sci-fi and fantasy and love watching new types of movies and shows. I have 2 beautiful and well-behaved cats. They don't scratch furniture or make much of a mess. They're extremely affectionate and love having humans around. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! - Lydia
Young engineering graduate working in Brisbane. I'd say I'm a pretty chill guy. I know how to keep an apartment clean & how to cook. I'll be working long hours full time & probably travelling on the weekends so I won't be in the apartment so much. Looking for cool and clean roomates to have a beer with from time to time. Preferably someone in similar situation.
Hey guys, I'm a tidy and responsible tenant looking for a social share house. I do 45-50 hour weeks (5 days) when I'm not working I socialise with friends, go on roadtrips and compete in the occasional Trivia night. I'm also quite active and play tennis, volleyball and netball (if you're keen to join we would love some fresh feet). I've also lived with other people for the past 8 years and traveled independently around the globe for 4 of those years. So respecting other people's personal space and property comes naturally. Looking for one or two like-minded housemates who want a social environment and are easy going. If you're clean, pay your bills on time, and aren't too crazy then count me in!
