G'day! My name's Cam and I'm a 19 year old bloke who is seeking a really nice place to live as my lease at my current residence is close to running out :) I'm fun, friendly and very easy to get along with. I'm clean, quiet and respectful of the space of my roommates, but in turn am always up for a chat and think mutually respectful relationships with roommates are super important. I work long hours Monday to Saturday, play Tennis competitively and in my down time I love to read, hang out with mates and play poker! At the beginning of next year I'll be reducing my working hours to return to study, so I really need a place that is in relative location to the city. I've lived in Kenmore/Indro/Chelmer all my life so these areas are where I'm looking for mainly but I'm definitely open to offers. I'm looking for a place with a pretty good internet connection, preferably NBN as I require a reliable connection for work related purposes! I love animals but have none so if you have a cool dog or cat that would like some attention look no further. Please feel free to contact me with any listings, I know I sound pretty demanding writing them all out like this but that's just the dream! I'm totally flexible. Feel free to message me if you would like to know more. Cam
Very friendly, respectful towards others and quiet. Don't mind having a laugh here and there and a casual drink and family dinner. OCD so a clean tidy place would be exceptable. I'm a 25yo male, currently unemployed but receive fortnightly payments. I love all kinds of music, animals I adore especially birds cats and dogs.. I'm currently in auchenflower as of now but in need of a new place to go.
I’m 32 years old, work full time in the Media/Advertising industry (radio) and i have a beautiful 3 year old Staffy named Lola who is 100% house trained. She is an outside dog when I'm not home however she's inside with me when I'm home & sleeps in my room. I'm super easy going, clean and tidy and when I’m home it’s mostly spent in my bedroom watching Netflix/Stan/Foxtel with Lola or cooking. I’m all about keeping the chores of the house fair and I Always do my part. I'm not a party animal however I do like to have a few sneaky drinks.
I am originally from the UK but have lived in Brisbane for 4 years. I'm a shift worker (doctor) so need flatmates who appreciate the need for me to be able to sleep in the day time sometimes. I am up for a chat and socialising with drinks or whatever but respect other peoples space and appreciate the same. I am generally happiest outdoors, I enjoy camping and hiking. I am trying to find the time to get back into rock climbing. I love animals but don't have any of my own.
Flatmates asks "What makes you great to live with?" I feel most of my greatness comes from my beagle, Loki. I'm a laid back young professional and I work full time while studying for my sales registration. I hate cooking for one and my dog is always down for a cuddle and a friend. I tend to keep to myself a bit, but I'm always down for a glass of wine, a movie and a chat, all you have to do is ask! I spend a lot of my time either drawing, freelancing with makeup, or with Loki taking him out on weekends to play with other doggy buddies of his. I'm a pretty empathetic and understanding person, always willing to lend an ear. I also have like a house full of furniture, so I can contribute to furnishing a house if anyone is interested in teaming up!
Looking for all-female house/flat (with no boyfriend-sleepovers) close to good public transport, quiet and safe area and house, considerate and responsible housemates who are friendly but give personal space, and no cats (if possible) or dogs. Fish and chickens are okay! : ) Prefer similar age-range/ 28-45. I've received a lot of messages that don't actually fit any of that, so please respond only if you/your place actually meet these things - not guys, sorry, and please within this price range! I'm responsible, mature, clean and considerate, and want housemates who also have these habits. Outside space for gardening is great, but not essential, and somewhere to store my things - read, lots of boxes! (garage space, under-the-house, shed, or part of a spare room). I'll also consider suburbs near those I've listed, except not further south than Eight Mile Plains.
we're easy going, very tidy. very independent, but don't mind a chat... very active, love going to the gym. we ride horses. and are very quiet. i am an apprentice carpenter and Charlotte is studying to be a nail technician and we are both vegan... we would love somewhere to live till the end of the year.
Hi! We're Aaron and Harper! 24 year old male and a 2 year old female desexed, registered, trained black Labrador. I have a house full of furniture (lounges, washing machine, dryer, tv etc) but can get rid of everything if necessary. We're looking for a sharehouse. North or Southside it doesn't matter as long as its pet friendly with some grass in the backyard for Harper as she likes lazying around in the sun! Would prefer an unfurnished room but beggars can't be choosers. Harper is a loveable dog, being a Labrador she loves getting out and being active, but will also enjoy a long cuddle when the mood sets. When I’m not working, you can find me probably Coast at a local beach, or exploring new places around Brisbane, anything social and fun really, oh and tagging along is perfectly fine too, especially if you've got a dog as Harper just loves other dogs/animals. Wouldn’t mind a sharehouse with like minded flat mates where possible friendships can be formed - as who wouldn't want to be friends with the people they live with! Also interested in teaming up and starting a new sharehouse too! Looking at a move date around mid October, references available! Can pay 4 weeks bond and 2 weeks rent in advance and provide proof of savings etc etc if required. Just shoot through a PM if you know of anything, TIA appreciate it 😊
Hi I'm Jackson, I'm 18 years old and looking at getting myself set up, and established. I've decided its time to man up and look towards the furture. I've had abit of a rough upbringing - but I'm keen as to punch through life and obtain some independence I'm have a bright personality, I'm abit of a clown (my feet reflect that statement). I am a typical guy, kind of abit useless sometimes about household responsibilites, BUT - all I need is a little guidance. If you need something done or in a certain way, I WILL be more than happy to maintain it. I believe in personal space and generally will keep to myself majority of the time.
I'm friendly, easy to get along with and respect others privacy. I prefer social housemates that I can call friends but also respect each other’s space. I am looking for a place within walking distance to a train station as I don't own a car. I work at Kmart in Indooroopilly and am starting music degree in September. I am pretty flexible with the move in date and am looking for a place I could spend the next couple years in. Slide into my DMs if you think we would be a good match.
Looking for a place within 500m range to any train station on Rosewood or Springfield train line. Max. budget mentioned is including all bills. Occasionally, I would love to socialize with my housemates and be silly with them 🙃. If carefree dancing or philosophy is your taste even better :) I have paid membership so you can go ahead and initiate a message, ta!
I'm looking to start up a share house with 2 others who are interested in taking up a few environmentally friendly practices around the home. I'd love to be able to share with like minded people who are also all about creating a welcoming and comfortable space to live. Other than having an interest in the environment I’d like housemates who are friendly, positive, respectful of other’s space and privacy, will keep common spaces tidy, but are also totally down for a chat and bit of socialising whether it’s with a beer, cuppa, or glass of wine in hand! :) A little bit about myself: I’m a 21-year-old genderfluid person, studying Environmental Management at UQ. I’m definitely a bit of science and enviro nerd although I also love to explore my creative side by painting, sketching, and singing with a local community choir (swear it’s groovier than it sounds haha) in my spare time. Being a trans person, it is very important to me that housemates are open minded and lgbt+ friendly or from the community themselves. My move date is also pretty flexible. I'm currently doing research in China but will be back in Brissie October 15th. Please flick me a message and tell me a bit about what you're looking for if you're interested. I'd love to hear from you!
Hi everyone. I am hoping to move to Brisbane from Newcastle in November for Uni at the beginning of next year. I am currently studying teaching here in Newcastle but will be transferring. I went to boarding school for 6 years and have lived out of home since finishing (5 years ago) so am very respectful of peoples personal space and belongings and keeping common areas neat and tidy. I am friendly and enjoy living with people who can be friends as well as house mates :) Looking to move in with people of similar age as I am going to be new to Brisbane and would love to make some friends. I am not a huge drinker anymore but don't mind a couple on days off work or study. Please let me know if you have a room available
Highly Ambitious, my life for the past 5 years has been shaped by my Passion for the Financial Markets. Pic - Lady Fortuna... I'm relocating to gain employment and Elevate my personal pursuits to a new level. Currently in Coastal CQ. ...The Home makes the location. I have an interview with The Director of a well-known, ASX-listed Business (Leaders in their field) on Thursday 27th AM. We are not unfamiliar with each other. I'll be able to advise of my employment status prior to the weekend, if not immediately following the meeting. ==UPDATE - ...I have made other enquiries regarding employment (and have another interview on Thursday PM with a Former Employer) should "Plan A" not eventuate for some unknown reason...I WANT TO WORK. I do like watching a Good movie or documentary...but, won't wrestle for the remote at all otherwise. I am clean, like landscaped places and do have a green thumb...so can chip in and get the place looking good... Very laid back, I place a high value on open-mindedness and will respect your personal space. ...I'll be staying at a Friend's place for a few days upon arrival to BNE...and am looking to have my Haven and Job secured by the weekend of Saturday 29th... ...Recently joined a great gym...but, it's not a franchise...should have done some homework. I'll be joining a Franchised Gym when settled.
As a person, I would think of myself as quiet and peaceful, very caring and respectful of others, polite, well-mannered and considerate. Full-time, long-term employment. Part-time university student (external - online)
I am super clean, tidy, quiet and respectful of others stuff and space. I don't mind pets as long as the house is clean. Happy to be social on occasions, but mainly looking for a quiet place to study and live. I'm still new to Brisbane so I spend days off going out or having weekends away. I'm flexible with locations and I'm looking to move around mid October. I don't have any furniture so furnished would be great. I'm a bit flexible on price depending on the right place.
I’m quiet considerate yet happy to chat and share with others or keep to myself if that’s yr thing. I don’t shirk my responsibilities and enjoy time alone or out with friends. I have a very quiet non shedding small dog . Like to cook and do my share of house work... enjoy outdoor time away from home or time watching adult son play cricket.
