hi my name is Lizzy and I am relocating to the area from Victoria. I am 51 studying Sociology and Criminology, only 7 units til I complete my degree. YAY. I hope to work in the welfare sector on completion. I also have extensive office administration experence and I am a warm, compassionate person who loves to love all aspects of life. I enjoy the occasional glass of wine and love to talk about anything. I am also a vegan. I love art and love to experiment with different artistic techniques; a very creative person. I am pretty quiet. I have two beautiful dogs who are my besties and they come first ( they are very well behaved and love people). I would need somewhere and someone who welcomes and loves dogs. I would need internet as I will need to complete my course online due to relocation. Anyway if you know of anyone or you think I may fit the bill as a sharehouse buddy, let me know. I have stated four weeks stay but that could be extended. Ideally once I gain some part time employment I would consider relocating. I am very flexible. The 150 $ would have to be all inclusive: ie bills and internet.
I'm a Wookie-Hobbit hybrid with a Brazillian, and a writer. I have spinal damage but still mobile, and just want a place where I can write my books & screenplays, plus grow veggies. I'm 6'4" so I need a decent sized room, plus a study/office for my writing. I don't have any pets of my own but very happy to live with someone who does SO LONG AS they are well trained, cared for, and don't become a burden to me through lack of training and care by their human parents, I would also be particularly intolerant of witnessing any abuse of such pets.
I have lived in the Byron Shire for the past 20 years while my daughter was growing up so now that my daughter has moved away for uni I am seeking to rent in the Byron/Tweed Shire. I work locally (part time) and ideally I am looking for a granny flat/studio to rent however I am also willing to share with a few like minded individuals. I am happy to pay up to $250 p/week however I am also willing to do gardening, child minding/caring, cooking and house keeping in addition or exchange for rent. Warm regards, Dawn
I'm hoping to find a long-term home for at least a year; or longer, if all works out well. I definitely like calm and quiet in my home environment, although I do enjoy relating with people when it happens, and having thoughtful and thought-provoking conversations. But basically I'm quite self-contained, independent and enjoy being quiet. Re shared areas; I believe I'm a very considerate, aware and respectful sharer of space. I leave the most minimal footprint possible and clean up as immediately as possible after creating food in the kitchen. As far as my life style/interests are concerned: I'm a teacher who recently retired from working with Indigenous adolescents in central Australia for several years, and before that in Wilcannia and northern NSW. I'm now studying a three year Dru Yoga Teacher Training course; I attend two Dru yoga classes a week, one a private class in Mullum, and one in Byron. I'm a regular volunteer at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery in Ballina (one or two shifts a week) I have my own income. I'm a creative who delights in the aesthetic in all aspects of living. I'm a keen gardener and enjoy planting food, herbs and flowers. I love eating good food and cooking, particularly different ethnic foods. I eat a vegetarian diet, but I'm not rigid about it. I guess if I were asked to encapsulate what I love and believe in, one word would have to be *diversity* and one concept would have to be *unity in diversity*. I'm a traveller and a seeker and always will be. Suffice it to say I can wax lyrical about things I feel passionate about, and act upon them as well.
Im a working musician with a day job, two awesome boys who stay with me every second week, so i need two rooms min..i have an old cat. I smoke but outdoors, drink a little, like music, writing, some study.. meeting new people, quiet nights in, movies, the beach and bush. I can cook. Currently living in Repentance creek near my boys school in Eureka. I stay pretty busy, band and gigs, festivals. I love coffee.Looking for a comfy place with hot water that doesn't flood every time it rains. :)
Easy going, self sufficient, friendly and tidy, that's the dog, Salty. The human is OK too. I am interested in places in the general region, moving to the area from far South Coast NSW and intending to rent for a year or so while I get to know the region and choose a home to buy. I am active and creative and busy keeping up with the demands of a multi-faceted career. I like cooking and baking, gardening and growing food. I am fortunate to love my work. I sometimes travel for work but mostly work from home or nearby workshop. I'm good to live with because I am respectful of the space/time/social needs of others. I ask, listen and am able to express my own needs and perspective. I do not like drama. I make sure Salty is happy and other members of the household are comfortable with him and understand his cues and commands. Salty is pretty friendly, a desexed red Smithfield, he likes most humans and other animals, he walks away from drama with other dogs rather than be involved in aggression. I live a mostly healthy lifestyle, lots of dog walking and swimming - not much party these days! I still love music and dance. I drink alcohol now and then and I do smoke occasionally. I always make sure no one is offended or adversely affected by my smoking.
I am quiet, respectful of others space and privacy, polite and courteous, I don't stay inside through the day - I like to get out into the day. I like to cook, and I am happy to cook for others
Looking for a house for myself, one cat and eventually , one other. Have employment in Health and have my own internet business . Looking for something around Murwillumbah, something rural would be fantasticbut we will see what turns up. Re cat, he's house trained, desexed, wormed, micro chipped, vaccinated and basically just annoys me. Actually, he is a lovely little fellow but he's like my little shadow. I love gardening, cycling and visiting friends. Love getting a little creative with timber when I get the time. Looking to find a base long term as I have moved around a fair bit in the past but ready to settle and I quite like Murwillumbah. Have been in this area for 4 yrs now. Like it slightly rural with the convenience of town/airport not to far away. BTW I am clean, tidy and respectful of house mates. I have one rule; don't do to others what you don't want done to you. Works for me so far. :) thank you for looking, cheers, Helen

I'm a quiet and reserved person looking to move out of home. I have interests in games, music production and going to the gym. I'd believe myself to be fiscally responsible and considerate of volume levels. I don't drink or smoke and have never been arrested or convicted for any reason.

Hi there! I'm a marine biologist currently living and working in Port Douglas. I'm due to start a PhD project in Lismore in May, and so I'm looking for a place or room to rent from then onwards. I'm an active person always looking to explore and experience and I have a laid back approach to flatting. I clean after myself, I'm self sufficient and while I'm always keen to socialize, I'm not looking to live in a perpetual party house.
