Hello, my name is Shannon. I’m currently living in Newcastle NSW, and looking for a place within or near the City of Brisbane. As I’ll be moving by myself, a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment would be suitable. Preferably a place near transportation services (buses, trains, etc). I can pay rent and bond straight up in advance. I have been looking for an apartment/place for quite awhile and kept struggling because I don’t live in Brisbane to visit the offers but I’m willing to travel and make the effort to go to Brisbane by train or plane if necessary to see the property and meet you before moving in. I’m willing to come to Brisbane to meet up with you in person in order to see whether or not we get along before arrangements. Paying rent on time will not be a problem however, I have not rented before (apart from off of my own mother, as I paid fortnightly to stay in her home). I do not have any rent experience as I never rented before with real estates, property owner’s nor landlords ect. I want to move out and become independent, meet new friends, socialise also it will be a bonus if you are into the gym as I’m in need of a gym partner. I need to work out since my goal is to lose weight (as I do have a belly) I apologise beforehand for being upfront and honest about myself. :] A little about myself is that I like to watch movies, tv shows, etc. I’m into video games like preferably Xbox One, I’m a fan of anime such as One Piece, Dragon Ball, Naruto Shippuden and many others. I currently seek benefits however once moved in, I will be looking for TAFE courses to apply to get my qualification, I’m currently looking into hospitality cooking or other courses to study that I’m into. If I sound like the perfect person that you will possibly get along with to rent and befriend, don't hesitate to message me if you have an questions. You can contact me by messaging me on here or send me a text message on my phone. I will get back to you as soon as possible. It would mean a lot if you could give me an opportunity. Thank you for your patience and to reading this. I really appreciate it and have a nice day :]
Hey guys, I am currently organising my move back to Brisbane after being in London for 5 years. I will be working full time in the city as a Recruitment Consultant but looking for a furnished room to make the move easier :) Any questions, give me a shout!
Hello lovelies! On the 29th March I will be fleeing the coup and moving to Brisbane to study a Cert lll in Pathology Collection @ TAFE in South Bank! I will be securing a casual/part time job in the hospitality/retail industry until my course is complete. I will be needing to rent a room for 2-3 months but if i end up loving the place and/or my roommates I would be more then happy to continue living there! I'm definitely a little social butterfly always seeking adventure but also love my alone time and will always respect yours! I am an early sleeper/riser and a big health nut but always down for some nachos every now and then. I'm super clean (lowkey germ freak), constantly making an effort to clean up after myself and respectful to your wishes. I am super genuine and would love for nothing more then to brighten your night after a shit day at work! Would never say no to a cheeky bev or two x
I am a tutor and postgraduate student at QUT in the city. I go to gym, eat healthy but I enjoy drinks once in a while. I enjoy traditional mediterranean food (lots of olive oil :) ) though I started to fancy asian food recently. I try to cook at home as much as possible but life happens. I am keen to share what I cook so there is that, Also I am interested in latin dancing, trekking and anything adventurous in my free time. I am looking for a pet free, non-smoker, clean (I prefer not to wear shoes in house), neat and quiet home environment. Preferably, having my own bathroom, close to the public transportation alternatives for travelling to cbd and back. I understand and show respect to boundaries of my flatmates and I expect the same in return. I am sociable, though I do appreciate spending time on my own to recharge. I am ready move in or start a new lease as soon as I find the right place. I would like to catch up with any potential housemate for a beer/coffee so that we can get to know each other before committing anything serious. If you want to do that, shoot me a message.
Hi I'm Kristy. I'm currently living in Ashgrove and am looking for a new place for me and my adorable kitten (she's an exotic shorthair and super affectionate to everyone). I'm a Yoga Instructor and teach weekdays in the mornings and evenings. I'm sociable and love having my own space too. I'm usually out and about catching up with friends on the weekend and if I'm at home I like to just chill out with a game. I'm very considerate, tidy, responsible and easy to live with. I'm vegetarian but don't care if you eat meat - I totally appreciate the smell of yummy chewy bacon. I love to travel and have visited 40+ countries. I've also lived in London for a year.
Hi, my name is Rosie and I'm a 2nd year student at QCA. I like art, nerdy things and staying healthy. I like to hang out but also have my own space to do my art and during semester I'm usually super busy. Just looking for a chill, nice place to live with friendly and clean people :)
Hi! I'm looking for a social house to move into in early March. I'm studying financial planning at Griffith uni, working part time and I also drive uber occasionally. I like to have a beer and a chat, and looking to make some friends in the place. I'm laid back and enjoy a bit of private time every now & then and respect everyone's personal space, but really looking for to make some friends and move into a fun house. I am fairly neat & tidy, like to cook and fairly independent. Hit me up if you think we would be a good match, I'd love to come check out the place and meet everyone :)
Easy to get along with, clean. Social but also like some me time. I have two cats and they are pretty awesome roommates too. Interests are Yoga, reading and dancing.
Hi There, My name is Kristy. I am 28 and have just relocated my life from Townsville down to Brisbane. I work full time at a University in the city, and I am now looking for a place to call home :) I am clean, tidy, easy going, I love to travel, meet new people and Ideally i am hoping to befriend my future housemate/s. I like to stay fairly quiet during the week, and come home from work to chill out with Netflix or some Trashy TV show. I am looking for a place with mature likeminded people, who can appreciate privacy and down time, but who are also happy to sit down at the end of a day and have a chat over a bevvie or dinner. I love to cook, and enjoy sharing the odd meals if that is something you would be interested in? On the weekends I like to be fairly social, and catching up with family and friends. I am also keen to do a bit of exploring so would be taking some day trips out of Brisbane. I enjoy a night out every so often, but much prefer a bar/pub type setting - I enjoy a good wine, a good vodka… Let's face it I enjoy a drink with the right company in the right situations however I am respectful, not over the top and do not want a full time party house but am open to the odd one. I have lived in share housing in Townsville for the last 8 years, and so i can appreciate keeping a household clean. I am a very tidy person, and strongly believe in keeping communal areas of a share house tidy. My previous share houses worked off a cleaning roster - So I’m not afraid to get in and clean, or work on a bit of a roster type scenario. I like living in a clean welcoming environment! Look forward to meeting you! :)
I am happy and helpful! I can keep to myself as well as share nice time. I am studying masters so I have lot of assignments, I am also looking for work. So I will be pretty busy most of the time. I don’t drink, but I don’t mind if people around me do. I like to read and watch movies.
I'm a mix of hermit and social butterfly. I gravitate towards happy, healthy and positive people! Im in my fourties but young at heart and easy to get along with either gender. What I like about flatsharing is the fun dynamic, but it only works when everyone pulls their weight and are respectful of boundaries. The best flatshares are with independent individuals with healthy circle of friends and self-sufficient but not complete strangers. I have uni/work priorities, but welcome the odd wine or outing if it's on offer (no expectations from me). I struggle with lazy flatmates who don't clean up their mess or snoop around. Sharing can be fun and I'm looking for mature individuals who understand the need for a harmonious living space. Rent/bills are always paid on time. I am looking for ENSUITE/OWN BATHROOM, OFF-STREET PARKING, FAST INTERNET - ideally a POOL or SUNNY BACKYARD.
I’m a 30yr old professional who works full-time. I’m planning on moving to Brisbane mid March - and would like to find some laid back, easy-going but social people to live with. As I’ll be new to Brisbane - it would be helpful if you’re fun to hang out with as you’ll be all I know to begin with :) I’m into almost all sport and love to relax after work and enjoy a BBQ and a few cold beers. I’m also the type of person to come to the fridge, see your beers are the only ones left - drink them, but also replace them with twice as many!
Hi, my husband and I are relocating from interstate to Brisbane and looking for a short term stay while trying to find our own tenancy in the West End. My husband is Swedish and a Mediterranean Chef (he also speaks fluent French and English) and I'm an Aussie starting a PhD in Medicine at the Mater Hospital in April. We are a quiet yet friendly and private couple looking for a quiet and respectable place to stay during what will undoubtedly be a stressful time trying to find a new apartment to move into long-term. We are friendly and courteous and enjoy an occasional beer but tend to keep to ourselves whilst organising our future and getting our bearings in Brisbane. As we are unsure how long it will take to find and secure the right place, time stayed would need to be flexible as we could be lucky and find a place in a matter of a month or it could take longer. We are looking for a small house share that is calm and quiet - not a party house that is boisterous. We love animals so if you have pets that is awesome. We are hoping to arrive in the second week of March 2018, so please sing out if you think you have the right place for us! Cheers.
I am a 22 years old guy from Basque Country who loves rock climbing, hiking, listening to all kind of music and animals. While I was studying at university I lived in three different share houses so I'm used to share. I have just ended my University Degree at Renewable Energies Engineering and I am in Australia to develop my career and live new experiences! I am tidy and clean and I like to keep the place where I live in a good state. I enjoy social life as well as I like to have time on my own.
Oh Hi, Hello!! I work full time in retail in CBD. I am very friendly easy to get along with almost everyone. I am fairly quiet, tidy, clean and more importantly respectful and trustworthy. I live an active, social and healthy lifestyle. My hobbies are fitness, beach, road trips, music production, modeling and travelling. I'm fairly chill and tend to keep to myself most of the time working on my computer desk in my room. Although I love having a good chat or hanging. I am not a party person but I don't mind going out partying over the weekends. Also I love animals and if you have any, I would adore them.
