Hi there, My name is Ryan and I am 33 years old. I am looking for a new place to call home, as currently I have been living in a big modern house on the north side of Brisbane for the last 5 years with a great rental history, and have been the head tenant with most of the responsibility, and own most of the furniture. Our lease is coming up shortly, and I would like to move somewhere more central, whilst not paying an incredible amount of rent. Hoping to pay less than $220/week including bills. I am open to teaming up with someone to move into a town house or finding a nice granny flat etc too. I am looking to live with either 1, or max 2 other people. I can also provide furniture and appliances (couches, fridge, microwave, plates, bowls, pots and pans, cutlery, dining table, chairs, desk, Balinese furniture, outdoor table, other appliances etc), but if not that's ok too as I can simply sell or store them elsewhere. I have a very well trained, friendly 10 year old male maine coon cat who I would love to bring with me. He is mostly a lazy indoor cat, likes his sleep and doesn't mind other furry friends. We are best of buddies and have been through a lot together, and it would be great to live with people who would also enjoy the company of a mini tiger :) I have recently been working as a warehouse assistant, and also study business and IT on the side. I also receive government help as I do have a disability, which would not affect my ability to live with someone else independently. I am hoping to find something relaxed with little to no dramas, judgements or arguments. A place with a decent sized room, air conditioning (just for the hot periods, and not necessarily in the room itself). My cat is used to wandering outside for the odd walk around the yard so I would also prefer to live somewhere that has a backyard/courtyard. I am the kind of guy who is social with his housemate/s, but can also as easily keep to myself. I would prefer to live with friendly, supportive people who don't take living situations too seriously. I am indeed responsible, respectful, caring, open, very clean (dislike mess), honest, and reliable. What I am not into is drinking copious amounts of alcohol (the odd glass of spirits is ok), smoking (but do not mind if you do smoke), or constant partying. These days I am more into social events, lots of exercise and the gym, self development, watching a good movie, meditation, reading, gardening, nature or heading to the beach. I am also vegan. If you like the sound of me, please send me a message as I am keen to find my next long-term house mate/s and home to be. I have not provided my mobile number as I would prefer to build rapport over message first, and then chat on the phone :) Thanks for your time and hope to hear from you, Ryan
Hi! I'm currently seeking to rent an unfurnished room close to the city, with parking (essential). Looking at a 6 month lease just in case we don't work together but would be more than happy to stay longer if we do :) I'll be starting a post graduate course at QUT (Gardens Point) in the new year so I will be partly studying and working. I'm looking to move in with people who are around a similar age to me, students or not but no couples, sorry! As a roommate I enjoy a balance between having my own time and also getting to know my roommates, over drinks, movie nights etc :) *I can also provide unlimited internet if needed
I’m ultimately looking to team up with someone to rent a 4 bedroom house together. I keep to myself most of the time so no parties or rowdiness from me. But! I do love having people over for dinner sometimes and I’m sorry but I will stink up the house occasionally with the smells of brownies, cookies and cakes. I’m super clean and tidy. My house is always very well kept. I do have a dog and a cat though and they are both inside animals, so someone who doesnt mind animals in the house. I have one boy. He is very well behaved, and due to my cleanliness he is quite tidy for his age. All i want is to find someone who takes pride in their home and treats the house and its possessions with respect. I have a 3 bedroom house of furniture (even a spare room) so if you don’t have much furniture thats cool. I am working fulltime and always have so you will never need to worry about my side of the rent or bills. If you want to know anything else, please msg me!
I am 28, friendly, quiet., clean and a great friend. I need to find somewhere for myself and my 2 small cocker spaniels in the Redlands, I have 8 years of excellent rental references including dog references. I am looking to share preferably in a share home with another female who doesn't already have pets of her own but would happily accommodate me and my pups.
Hi I'm Bartosz (25) currently studying environmental engineering at ETH Zurich in Switzerland. In march I will fly to Brisbane Australia to conduct my master's thesis (7 months) at the University of Queensland. I am looking for a relatively centrally located shared flat with easy going and relaxed people who like to hang out and do something together from time to time. In my free time I enjoy skateboarding, hanging out with friends, going for a beer, photography, nature, city trips and many other things. I would describe myself as uncomplicated and easy going. Should you consider me as your future flat mate I would be happy to have a chat on skype.
Hey! I'm super chill and am looking for not just a housemate - but friends! Love to cook, drink, hangout and basically have good times. I'm a uni student and work in hospitality, so preferably looking for people with similar schedules so that we don't give eachother too much hassle during the semester. Find me on Facebook if you're unable to message me here xx
Just finished university and started working full time. I'm an outdoors person who loves spearfishing, 4wd-ing and camping. I'm keen to spend a few weekends exploring Stradbroke and Moreton island. I will keep areas clean and help out around the house with chores. Can also cook up a good feed.
Hello! ** [LOOKING FOR PET FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATION - INSIDE ONLY DESEXED CAT] ** Mt Gravatt/Southbank/Nathan/Wishart/Mansfield Area Studying at Griffith University Nathan & Southbank. -- I'm a friendly student who typically keeps quiet and tidy. I usually enjoy keeping to myself, and out of the way; (usually very busy with study) but I do enjoy artwork (I do digital artwork, and traditional media) as well as movies, gaming and other relaxing hobbies. ** I do have a little ginger cat, Maia, who I would want to have living with me. He is a lovely desexed, vaccinated & microchipped boy with a good nature. Whilst he is playful (and very entertaining), he is not destructive and typically sleeps when left alone. I'm from rural NSW, but have lived in Brisbane throughout 2017- and now I am needing a place to rent again for my second year of studies. I am currently studying a doubledegree of Design and Business at Griffith University. (Both Southbank and Nathan campuses). If you are looking for a non-intrusive, quiet housemate/flatmate, I am perfect! But I am not beyond friendly conversation, movie nights or anything of the like! As I have been struck with plans falling through, I am now desperately searching for somewhere to stay. I am a full-time student, so I am currently unemployed; but I receive youth allowance via Centrelink and have been dedicated with rental payments as of last year. I can provide a reference of my previous landlord to assure this. :)
Hi there, My name is Emilia. Lately I arrived to that beautiful land of kangooros and many extraordinary places to see. :) I am looking for my little space in here, which means a room plus work. I am a easygoing sociable person, also what I belive open-minded. I don't mind and kinda love to chill out on my own as well. Looking for a friendly household of nice people. I enjoy exercising and maintaining a creative lifestyle as well as spending time outdoors.
I am very easy going and relaxed, love a clean and tidy house! I work in safety and security at lady cilento hospital and enjoy the outdoors especially scuba diving as I am completing my assistant instructors certificate! Dream is to be a cop which I’ll be continued to apply for!
We are all reliable and respectful men, and I believe we can be quite humorous and enjoyable to live with. We are from the Sunshine Coast and are looking for accommodation as a means to study at QUT Gardens Point. We have all applied and since been accepted into our diverse set of courses. Riley is doing a Bachelor of Engineering/ IT Brandon is doing a Bachelor of Law/ Business Trevor is doing a Bachelor of Science Hudson is doing a Bachelor of Maths/ IT As our chosen courses infer, we are all fairly intelligently inclined and looking to pursue successful careers. As mentioned before we are all very easy to get along with and an enjoyable bunch to live with. All of us take pleasure from getting out of the house, playing sports and versing each other in the occasional computer game.
I'm a single scientist/health professional/student with a sweet but shy cat looking for an established share house to move into. I study full-time, work two part-time jobs (one of them is night work) and do some volunteer work so can be a little elusive but I'm hoping to move in with people I genuinely get along and can hang out with. I'm fairly nerdy and love video games, watching horror movies, fitness, cooking & baking, traveling, enjoying a few ciders and occasionally sleeping. I'm obsessively tidy to the point where I clean things for fun which past housemates have always appreciated. I have almost everything a house could need including bedroom things, couches, a full set of kitchen paraphernalia, dining table & chairs, a fridge, TV plus dryer & washing machine but can easily sell or store these if they don't fit. My cat Pepperoni is a senior girl who loves to snuggle and be around people but can be shy at first. She gets along great with other animals if they're also laid-back and are happy to give her space if she needs it.
My name is Abby and i'm 25. I am a Makeup artist, frequent gym goer, beer fiend and dog lover. Non smoker but not offended by it in the slightest. Always down for a spontaneous beverage. I am super friendly and tidy and I am looking for a home where I can be friends with the people i live with :)
Hi All :-) My name is Aleks and I work in the CBD as a full time working professional. I work Mon to Fri and am not home during the day. Some weekends I will also be down on the GC since my parents live there. I have been living by myself for the last 6 months and am looking to start a share home with another flatmate or 2 if the place is right! At this stage I’d prefer fenald flatmates. Or male and female flat mates if there are 2 others :-) I have lived with others for years and am respectful of others people’s personal space, and pay rent and bills on time. Would be great to find someone down to earth, friendly, happy to share housework responsibilities and who is not a massive party animal as I wake up early to head to work :-) On weekends I’m happy for people to have friends or family over! I have some furniture and white goods that can go into a new place. My current lease ends on 22 March, but I am flexible with dates before (as I will need to move out before this date for cleaning) and after.
I've been in a couple of sharehouses now and am looking for a place for at least 6 months, preferably a year, while I finish up my last year of uni. I like to keep it fairly quiet during the week with my work, study and sport. I play a bit of netball, touch footy and like to swim. Would be a plus if I found a housemate who would like to join me at the gym. On the weekends, I'll usually be out and about with friends and like to unwind with few drinks. I'm really looking for housemates I can be friends with - I enjoy chatting over tea, watching Netflix or playing some house board games. I also have a little cat called Clive who my previous housemates have all loved. I would preferably like to keep him with me but he is a family cat who is happy to move back in with his grandma if no pets are considered :)
My name is Nelly, I work full time at a restaurant in the city as well as studying Nursing at Griffith uni. I'm looking for somewhere close to uni or public transport. Preferably with females. I love keeping plants alive and cuddling pets. I'm quiet, clean, friendly and a little bit shy.
Hey, I'm 19 years old working fulltime as a apprentice chef about to qualify. I'm a very quiet person and am barely home as I work alot but like to chill out and play guitar when I get the chance. I'm super chill, I generally keep to myself but am more than happy to have a chat and socialise.
Hey. I'll be working in QE2 hospital from February. I'll typically work 6-7 shifts every fortnight and need a place to crash between them. For the rest of the time I'll be back down in Gold Coast. Looking for a comfortable place to stay whilst in Brisbane. Im clean, non-smoker, easy to get along with, happy to meet new people. Originally from Ireland, lived in Australia for a long time now. If you have anything that may be suitable, give me a shout. Darrsgh
Hi! I'm Rebecca. I’m a full time student at QUT to studying be a primary school teacher. I’m also studying a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. I'm a self contained kind of person, tidy (most of the time - as long as you don't count the floordrobe), and a NETFLIX marathoner. I love playing my PS4 on occasion, and I have a bunch of multiplayer games if you want to join in. I have a fluffy, cuddly little kitty named Cashew. He's a good boy most of the time, but like all troublemakers, can be known to push the boundaries. He's pretty well trained though (for a cat, anyway) so can be easily corrected. He’s also very smooch’s and wants nothing more than to cuddle and curl up with you for all the pats in the world. Also, I have a health condition called Fibromyalgia, symptoms including chronic pain and chronic fatigue. I manage it with low intensity exercise, rest, and lots of tiger balm. Can't wait to meet you!
I am a QUT student at Gardens Point, and work part-time in the city, so I'm often out and about. Clean and respectable housemate. Quiet and like to keep to myself but also friendly and up for a chat :)
About me: - Social Sport - Enjoy Reading - Fitness - Enjoy Cooking - Like a Clean House - Like a Quiet House (Shift Worker) - Like to keep busy Looking for a Flat to share long term with a maximum of 2 people but preferably 1. I have now lived in a house with untidy, unmotivated housemates who do not pull there weight so the exact opposite of this is someone who has goals, works hard, is driven, respects others and during our days off are up for a chat or to go do something. Preferentially I would like to move into a easily maintained, simple modern unit (but open to house) that is close to the city. My lease is up Mar 5 but I am able to move a week earlier and maybe a week later if needed. I am also open to a team-up with someone to sign a long term lease with and become good mates. I have my own room furnishings, cooking equipment & a vacuum 7 thats about it. *As a side note. I have a quiet week on the first week of Feb where I will be looking to inspect/meetup as much as possible to finalise a place to stay. Let me know if interested Zach
We are a quiet couple, one of us is an international student. When we are at home we like to relax. We do not drinking or smoking. Quiet location is really important and also 2 spaces for cars.
Hi potential roomie I am a laid back easy going fellow. Enjoy having a drink, music and a chat. I clean after myself and respect other people's space and time. Not OCD about cleaning. If you're looking for a respectful housemate to chill and have a good time with, send me a message.
