Looking for people who are keen to team up and find a place together! I'm currently living in East Geelong, but my lease is ending soon and my current housemates are moving interstate. I am looking at moving to the East Geelong to Leopold area, however, I'm happy to move further for the perfect place. I have a substantial amount of furniture from my existing house that I will be bringing with me, which is why I am looking to move into a fresh house with new people. I am a chilled bloke, who enjoys a cold beer or wine at the end of a long day! Not a massive partier, but do enjoy a good bbq, dinner and drinks with good mates. Currently studying bach of Arch and Construct Management at Deakin, as well as working at a local cider house.
I'm a 21 year old University student who's pretty chill and easy to get along with. Not out of the ordinary but exactly boring either. :D :D Looking for a place close to Deakin University, but I'm willing to compromise as long as the distance isn't too far of a drive.
Hi I’m Marli! I’m looking for a new house accepting a student, roughly 140 per week including bills. I enjoy going to the gym, staying in watching movies, studying and cook most nights. I am almost 20 and studying a certificate IV in fitness and diploma in sport development. I love animals but don’t have any pets of my own and don’t smoke. If you are looking for a mature, respectful, tidy and friendly housemate then you’ve found the right person! I don’t mind sharing but I also appreciate my own space and respect other people’s privacy and personal belongings.
Mornington peninsula based girl looking for somewhere to stay a couple nights a week in geelong/warun ponds area for my studies beginning at Deakin Warun ponds! Only loooking for two nights a week until June/July when I go on holiday but I'll be back for third trimester! Willing to pay whatever's reasonable for a two - three night stay a week to help out as moving away full time is unfortunately not an option! I spend a majority of my time in the ocean, I plan to study environmental science and if you have pets they're guaranteed to be absolutely spoilt by me
Full time primary school teacher. I consider myself a pretty easy-going and social person and like just having time to myself (especially after work). Love getting to live music gigs as often as possible, and will often fill my spare time by going running, getting out for a surf and catching up with mates. Have owned and rented before so appreciate and respect the expectations and routines of the owner/other housemates.
I'm a 26yr old country bloke; pretty easy going, tidy and keep to myself. Ideally seeking something for 12 months+. I have no pets, drugs or smokes. Emotionally stable and single. I work full time as an engineer so I can fix stuff, and I'm tall so the top shelf and changing lightbulbs are also useful things I do. Wait this isn't tinder.... Besides these activities I enjoy running, swimming/surfing/getting smashed by the surf (my friend assures me it is entertaining to watch), mountainbike riding and motorbike riding. I'm new to Geelong so still getting a feel for the area, could be convinced to play another season of footy for the right club. If any of this sounds like it could fit in your spare room then hit me up. Proximity to Waurn Ponds preferred, but other suburbs still worth consideration.
Looking for a home (6mo - 1 yr), moving back to my home town from Footscray. I will be nursing at the Uni Hospital, Great at paying bills on time, love keeping clean & tidy. I'm respectful + considerate, easy going, loves a nap & my downtime, sunshine and the outdoors. I'm non-smoking, drama free, come with random bits of furniture and a pole. Would love to hear from you!
I came from the southern part of India, Andhra Pradesh. I'm about start my career as a masters student in Deakin and my study of interests is in electrical engineering. I like having fun with others and I love listening songs and watching Hollywood movies. Finally I'm kind of an introvert guy
Hey, I'm Rowan, i'm one of the Junior doctors starting work at Geelong Hospital. I have an excellent sense of tumour, but i'm a really poor speller. I'm easy going, unless hawthorn is playing, or we're playing settlers of catan. I like running and keeping fit, which is good, because i also like ice cream and chocolate. My friends would describe me as male and 27. I'm looking to live with non-smokers and young professionals or students. I'm happy to live with pets, but i don't have any myself. Happy to have drinks after work, but probably not drinks before work; my hours are early rises and late finishes. Will be back to melbourne or surfing most weekends. #hodl
Hi, Looking to ideally team up with someone and find a place together, preferably somewhere central in Geelong, but I’d rather find the ideal place than live in the ideal location. But if you have a room in an existing house and you think we’d live well together I’m open to catching up to see how it’d go. Other things: - I’m pretty easy going and flexible, however, I’m not looking to live in a party house. - I’ll be studying online, but going into the uni at least once a week. - Love dogs, cats are ok, birds and snakes are not ideal. - I’d prefer to live someone around 28-40 - I’d rather not live with a couple, but open to meeting up
I'm an engineer working full time in Geelong city, been travelling from Melb every day for the last year. Been in various sharehouses over the last 5 years, so I've got the manners/cleaning/respect/rules down pat. I'll be spending some time back in Melb on random nights/weekends, but otherwise I don't know anyone in Geelong, so it'd be cool to have housemates who are sometimes around after hours to hang out with. In my own time I'll go to the gym, read, Netflix, you know the drill, but I'm up for joining in on pretty much anything. Also a musician (within reasonable hours), so plenty of good tunes throwing around.
Myself and Lewis are very enthusiastic people. We love meeting new friends and sharing experiences with them. Everyone who we’ve met along our travels has influenced us in some way. We love nothing more than having a bbq, socialising with a few beers and making the most of our time in Australia. Luckily enough, while travelling we’ve always ensured we have good food and good company. We love relaxing on a beach, walking and going on adventures. As we’ve been travelling for a while now, we’ve finally decided that it’s tome to settle down and look for work. I, myself am in childcare and Lewis is a carpenter. We hope to both meet our new house mates soon !
Hi :) My name is Cami and I'm looking for a place to move into in Geelong. I have just graduated and recently started work full time as a Physio at Geelong Hospital. I’m currently in shared accommodation in the heart of Geelong and I am able to move out with two weeks notice, so I am very flexible with regards to dates for moving. In North Melbourne I was living in a sharehouse, so I can be quite flexible with roommates who want to have a chat or simply want some alone time. I consider myself easy going, clean & tidy & adventurous. I love getting outdoors (weather permitting) to the coast for a trek/run or to gym to stay active. Also keen to get involved in a social team sport, netball or basketball. I enjoy cooking, and try to maintain a pretty healthy lifestyle. I have advertised for sharehouses with a max rent of $160 per week but I am pretty flexible, I don’t mind paying a little more. Also, since leaving my dog in WA, I have been missing having a furry friend. So Im MORE than happy if your share house has a DOG! Please feel free to send me a message if you are looking for an easy going housemate & think I'd be a great fit for your house.
Im currently wanting to branch out and get some of my own Independence, I can be fun to be around and enjoy a good laugh or decent conversation, but I can be mature when demed nessacary, flexiable and optimistic when it comes to change or ideas. Always willing to help out where needed, I don’t mind getting my hands dirty, weather it be cleaning or simple as taking out the rubbish. I’m very tidy, neat person who knows how to pull there weight around the house. I believe I am pretty responsible when it comes to prioritising, and making sure I pay everything on time, I only surround myself with friendly and open-minded people, I don’t have time for any drama or negativity. I work currently part-time/full-time 4-6 mornings a week, so paying my way should not be an issue. I’m respectful to people’s boundaries and rules, and happily sit down to compramise otherwise as I dislike tension and fighting very strongly.
Hey I’m Darren, 32 and originally from Adelaide. I work full time and are looking for somewhere to move in or around Geelong. I’m very easy to live with and respect people’s privacy, I’m clean and organised and stay active through running/gym. I’m also happy if one or two people want to get together and find a place.
Working at Deakin Uni, Waurn Ponds Monday to Friday 9-5. I'm a non smoker clean neat and tidy person! I'm pretty quiet and respectful of other's privacy. Would prefer a place with my own bathroom makes it easier for getting ready for work in the morning. I like to paint and a space for that in garage or spare room would be great. I'm pretty relaxed, social drinker and love my tv binges. 3 month is minimum stay as I'm on a contract however I'm pretty sure it will keep going but just so you know. I'm allergic to cats so non cat house thanks, also if you run a business from home that includes weekends and weeknights please include this in your ad as It's no good for me. cheers, Carla
