I am looking for a male or female to team up with and begin a new share house, I am looking to move within 4 weeks and I would love to find the ideal housemate. I would ideally be booking in to view homes this week and fortnight, it would be great if we could both view them together but we may have to view the homes separately and apply together. Anyone interested I would like meet me out for coffee and a discussion. About me: I'm 21 in January, I work part time to full time hours at woolworths, I work weekend days and some weekdays, i am earning a stable income and i'll be studying a cert 3 in disability in 2018 two days per week. I have no pets and I've rented in sharehouses before. I have most essentials to fill a house with such as a brand new washing machine, vacuum cleaner and various kitchen and bathroom items, and the rest I shall be purchasing upon moving in and the ideal housemate would want to contribute their own things and help make it a home. I love music of all kinds, I play guitar I love art and opshopping, my furniture and decorations are colourful mostly from ishka or various second hand items and I would describe myself as somewhat of a hippy, I'm a very tidy person, I'm laid back girl I enjoy an occasional joint or a few drinks/ having friends over from time to time, but Im somewhat of an introvert so love my personal space. I love the idea of being able to hang out with a housemate and watch a few films /play some games/go shopping together on the odd occasion. I'm a heavy sleeper I don't care about how loud your music is, how late you cook dinner or how late you stay up/get home I am easy going- as long as you are courteous, respectful, and reliable! I am looking for someone to live with who is happy to share a house and make it a home and help contribute items of furniture to the home. I want to live in a relaxed, clean and happy environment, someone who is looking to stay for 6m-1 year. i don't have any 'rules' except that my potential housemate cleans up after themselves, either has a job, studies or both. Must pay rent ON time, must be willing to go on the lease, I'd love to hear back from any body (1 or 2 people) who are looking to move out and begin their own share house with me, thanks lovelies!
Hi :) I am very new to the area and have just started work in Torquay. We have been travelling for the last year, and before that were in Canberra. We love nature, art, great conversation, and exploring. We would like to find our own place eventually. Though for the time being as we get our bearings on the lay of the land we would love to find a room for a few weeks or longer. We would prefer a smaller place over a large share house. If you would like to share your space with us please get in touch. P.S we have a lovely little Jack Russel x, though she will not be with us as she is off living on a farm somewhere pretending to be a much bigger dog than she actually is.
Hey there, I'm looking for a pet friendly place for myself, dog and cat! Both very friendly and well trained. I work full time I'm laid back love to exercise and get outdoors, gym, wine, the beach and being social! Friendly, fun and respectful!
My partner and I are on the hunt for a place perfect for us. 30 year old male and 23 year old female searching for a private rental or share house would definitely consider a team up 😊 A bit about us: I have just completed my second year of uni and work at the local pub in Torquay, Ross is currently working full time at Bellbrae Estate winery as a cellar hand where he hasn't been since the start of this year. We have a 1 and a half year old German Short-haired pointer, Zoe who is quite active, she loves the company of other people or dogs. Zoe is one of the main reasons we want to stay by the beach as I will take her down incense or twice a day. We are willing to pay an extra pet bond if this is necessary. We are both super cruisy people who love getting outdoors and enjoy a good beer! Ross is a body boarder while I just enjoy being down the beach. Look forward to hearing :)
Jess is a 20 year old female. She is currently studying full time as well as working 2 jobs, which means that for the time she is at home she is pretty laid back and likes to spend her time relaxing. Harry is a 20 year old male. He works full time and is a part-time uni student. Harry enjoys cooking and being physically active. Both Jess and Harry are clean, easy-going and respectful of other's property and the communal areas. We are looking to move into an unfurnished room to share until late February and ideally move as soon as possible.
Hey! I'm Kat. I'm going to be study medicine at deakin waurn ponds in 2018. I used to go to highschool in Geelong, moved to Melbourne for my undergrad, did a couple years of backpacking, travelling and working in europe, and now I'm back. A bit about me: Ambivert Social gamer/boardgamer (e.g. DOTA 2, Overwatch; Mansions of madness, Bang) Animal lover Social drinker and occasional partier with a fine appreciation for carlton draft Group fitness gym enthusiast I do aerial hoop and pole dancing for fun, definitely not any good I play violin and piano in orchestras also for fun, probably my more skilled hobby My favorite show of all time is 'How I met your mother', so expect some puns non smoker, carnivore, Instagram noob but trying to learn I'm looking to share with people who are easy going, somewhat or very tidy, is a good mix of doing their own thing and wanting to socialize, is cool with friends coming over sometimes for some study seshes or beer, my boyfriend will visit from Melbourne and stay some weekends, respectful, if a smoker will always smoke outside. I am not looking for a party house (but not looking for a quiet antisocial house either). Need time to myself to chill/study but if we're both free some wine or tea with netflix would be sweet. Hit me up if you think we're on the same page!
Hi I'm Leonie and I'll be moving to Geelong at the end of January to study Medicine. I will be coming straight from a 7 week trip in Mexico so I would likely bring some great authentic duty free tequila to the household to share ;) also due to my travels I would really love is someone was willing to accept a Skype meeting as being in another hemisphere makes it difficult to attend inspections. I've spent the last three years living in share houses in Canberra, US and Spain. I'm friendly but at the same time respectable of personal space. Honestly, I probably won't be in the house that much as I prefer to study in a library but I can promise you when I'm there I'll always be down for chat/meal/quick drink :) I enjoy cooking and am happy to make extra for the house. I am insanely passionate about food (seriously can talk about it for hours on end) but at the same time super not picky. Other than studying I like spending my time watching Netflix, hanging out at quaint cafes and bars and staying active. I'm looking for somewhere that is walking/biking distance to Deakin warun ponds as I won't be having a car with me and will be spending majority of my time there.
I'm a 23 yo female Geelong local and looking for somewhere come the end Jan/start Feb 2018 as my lease will be up then. I work in hospitality roughly 4-5 days a week and a couple of nights a week. I am fun, friendly and easy to get along with. Pet lover. Non-smoker (but I don't discriminate against those who do). I clean up after myself and would ask the same from my housemates. I have been told I am easy to live with by a roommate before who worked from home so I understand and respect that at times people need their space and quiet time. I have my own furniture, so I am not looking for a furnished room. I am also happy to meet up and discuss team ups. Really just want to move in with some cool people and make lifelong friends :)
Hello, my name is adam and I'm looking for a room/place for myself and my girlfriend sarah. I'm a chef and work locally in Torquay and sarah works at one spa at RACV resort. We are only in town for six months, as we have to head back to the mountains in may. We are clean, pay our bills and plus I can cook a awesome dinner :)
Hello, My name is Andrea, and I am seeking a peaceful, spacious home preferably with my own bathroom. As a friendly, respectful and reliable person, I make an excellent flatmate/tennant. Would love to be within 15 minutes drive of a nice beach. So anywhere between Geelong and Angelsea would be great. My interests are: design, reading, cooking, music, yoga, cycling and the beach. Would absolutely love to learn to surf! Maybe this summer:) A healthy lifestyle is really important to me. So a smoke free environment is essential. I do not mind children or pets, but cannot correct the profile boxes, so please disregard the no children or pets boxes.
Moving out of the rents house finally. Recently graduated as a nurse and midwife and will be working at Geelong Hospital. I currently work at the Geelong Hospital with people with cognitive and intellectual impairments. Laid back and easy going. Pretty cool chick.
I’m a student and work part time so I’m always busy. I am clean and tidy, and value a clean house. I usually keep to myself but I’m always keen for a chat. I have rented in Geelong for the last three years and are looking for a new place with fewer people.
Very easy going and considerate, house proud and love to cook! I am a smoker but strictly outside and am trying to quit also. I work both in hospitality and building and landscaping. interests include travelling, spanish, gym and muay thai, anything to do with the ocean, djing, great food and wine. Ideally I'd like to start a new share house with the right person and am flexible on location and dates. That said I am also interested in existing places provided it is considered to be a sharing of the space together rather than just renting a room in someone elses place. I'm currently living in Eumundi on the sunshine coast but its a semi short term arrangement. Drop me a line if you'd like to know more or have a chat. Salud.Andrew:)
Im great to live with because im easy going and rarely around. I spend the majority of my time working, away working or outside surfing or fishing. Im a social guy and can talk to anyone. I also know the game of share houses and the ability to respect peoples privacy and space. Im a recent graduate of Marine Biology from Deakin Warrnambool, and a country man at heart. Love a good joke and a few beers every so often. Does this sound like your new housemate? Yeah, i thought so too.
30 year old guy from Melbourne looking for a room on the coast for the summer. I work full time and will be commuting back to Melbourne and occasionally Geelong for work so I am likely to be there about 3 or 4 nights a week. Have lived in sharehouses for most of my 20's. Tidy, respectful and responsible. Enjoy a drink at the end of a long day and hoping to find some chilled housemates who I can get along with but also respect each other's space. Looking forward to plenty of beach time and exploring all that the surf coast has to offer this summer. If you think I might be a good fit for your place get in touch 😀
I am very neat, tidy and quietly respectful of myself and other people. I love dancing and go out dancing at least four times a week. I work during the day and stay in Melbourne at least two nights a week. I am a single lady, who is caring and kind and reflective. If you think you are looking for someone like me to share your accommodation, please contact me.
I’m a laid back, neat guy. I enjoy going on spontaneous adventures, really bad at jokes and rather enjoy cooking. Full time student, volunteer for sea shepherd, vegan, minimal waste maker, respectful of other people and their spaces, and all round friendly person
So i'll be honest straight up ... I have no idea how to sell myself on this thing. I'm 21 (22 in November) I work as a medical receptionist in Corio 3 days a week and volunteer at Geelong Hospital. I'm born and bred Geelong so I know my way around the joint. I'm currently looking for a room to rent within in Geelong for myself (Single pringle). I have previously rented alone but for the past year moved home to save money for travel (I traveled across the USA it was amazing!!!!!!!!!) I currently study online as well and am due to finish my Cert III in Business in January 2018 and I am hoping to attend Uni (fingers crossed hopefully Deakin Uni as well but at this age you can't be too picky with where you're accepted) next year studying something within Health Industry or go full-time with work should this not work out and save to travel once again. Basically i'm looking for a place I can call my own but that also comes with some cool people who are down for a chat, socialize, make new friends or watch some tv after a long day but also respect that people sometimes just need their own space. I'm described as an extroverted introvert ... I can be quiet but once you get to know me or i'm a view glasses down I can be quite crazy. I love reading, movies, tv series and my own space but am also more then happy to have the occasional crazy night out the town and dance until 3am (this is rare as i'm basically a grandma now that prefers to be asleep by 9pm with a good book and hot chocolate but I can pull it off when required promise!!!)and spend the next day hungover trying to drink Gatorade out of a bottle without lifting my head to much. Also i'm extremely clumsy and weird but I promise i'm just trying to do the best I can at this thing we call adulting. I also ramble when I get nervous as you can tell by this whole thing. But yeah I guess that's me really.
