I am 29 years old PhD student from University of Copenhagen currently working at ANU. My interest and hobbies are modern literature, neuroscience, chemistry, music, architecture, interior design, contemporary art. I would describe myself as quiet, introverted, serious and open minded.
I am a 22 year old IT professional who works at a Television production company in the city. I'm clean and tidy, and have lived with room mates in the past, so I can share a bathroom without leaving the toilet seat up or my towel on the floor. Im very easy to get along with, and am more than up for a chat, however I do respect some personal space and quiet time. Personally I love to watch movies, go for walks about and experience new things. I also like to laugh, so having some housemates with a sense of humour would be a plus. There would be a couple of upsides to living with me: - I'm mildly handy. I can fix all sorts of broken things around the house. - I work in IT so free tech support for you. - I don't mind doing something in the garden if I have to. - I hate late bills, so you'll always have rent and bills paid on time. I am currently finishing up my current lease in Belconnen where I have been living for about 18 months, and will be moving early to mid May. Overall I am a well grounded mature person, and if you think I might be a good fit around at your place please don't hesitate to drop me a message or give me a call.
Hi potential housemate(s) or landlord, my name is Tiana and I am a full time employee working in hairdressing and retail. I love what I do except when I am tired lol :) I am really easy going and laid back kind of person, I enjoy going to gym or watch movie after a long day at work. I love socializing with people but I also like to keep to myself and particularly, I am planning on buying a house in the near future so I try to save as much as I can. Hence, I dont actually socialise as much as I would like to. And I do a bit of study in my spare time just to improve myself. :) If the potential property and people allow, I would love to have a husky puppy that I have been crazy about for ages (so exciting)!!! Thank you for your time to read my ad and hopefully I will find my new place soon. :D
I (female) and my (male) colleague have enrolled at the Australian national university as PhD students. We can cook and would love to share a meal and chat :) We enjoy watching movies and sports, love reading, a little into fitness, non-smokers,no pets. We are basically from India born and brought up here but have moved around quite a bit and hence we are adaptable. So if you are seeking tenants please contact us.We are hoping to join you by mid April 2017. Thank you

Hi there! I'm a country girl who's been living the Sydney city life for a bit over a year, and I'm moving to Canberra to work full time as a nanny, before starting study next year. I love to cook, dance terribly but enthusiastically, garden, and sing. I like quiet nights in and board games, and I'm respectful and tidy. I love animals but don't have any of my own (except a horse, but don't worry, he'll have alternative accommodation. Hoping I find a welcoming and fun place.
Hi there, I am a PhD student and Sports Dietitian. Sticking around Canberra for the next 3 years. I have a little cat, but she is very tidy and fully toilet trained. I am fairly quiet and respectful, but friendly. Looking for a chilled/friendly place to live :)
I'm currently a full time postgraduate student at ANU. Well, I was born, raised, educated and challenged in Phnom Penh, Cambodia before moving here. I originally wanted to keep living and challenging in my home country, but then later became interested in traveling and learning different culture and thought it would be better to do so through thriving in a different society with diversity and appreciating a simpler way of living. Up until now, I've been in Canberra for nearly two weeks, and I am still looking for a place to move in since I am currently living in a temporary accommodation. I promise to be a good tenant who will make an on time payment and will take care of your house as my own. Besides, I am not a drinker and a smoker, but a follower who will try all my best to meet the landlord's requirements.
I'm a 25 year old. I'm very shy and mostly keep to myself. Have an awesome cat and a beautiful rescue greyhound mix. I love gaming (PS4) and watching scary movies. Happy to rent anywhere within a 30min peak hour traffic of Fyshwick.
Hi there, I'm Joshua, 24, from Germany/Munich. I'm studying sports science. I visit UniCanberra for my Master's thesis. Best regards, Josh

I'm an open person who loves competitive swimming and baking. I practice swimming up to thirteen hours per week and when I'm not in the water I bake cakes, muffins or biscuits for fun. And of course to eat them with family and friends. ;) I like spending time with friends at home or going out, reading and doing outdoor activities. I currently live in a flatshare in Germany and study British and American Studies, Physical Education and Educational Studies to become a teacher. I plan to study at the ANU for six months during the second semester from mid-July to December. The moving date is not fixed yet and therefore flexible. :)
Hi! My name is Nina, I'm 24 years old. I have just been offered a full-time job in Canberra working for an international aid organisation. I'm moving down from Sydney for the job, so will be very new to the Canberra area. During the week, I like to go out for dinner or drinks, but I'm equally satisfied having a quiet night in. I'm a very social person, on the weekends I spend my time catching up with friends and exploring new restaurants and bars. I'm looking for some friendly housemates who will help me settle into my new life in Canberra!
Hi there! I'm Tash, I'm 21 and currently in my third (but not quite my last) year studying International Relations and French at ANU. I'm a born and raised Canberra girl, and am looking to move out of home in order to be closer to uni and work (part-time as a swim instructor/coach). I spend quite a bit of time out and about, and can often be found either swimming or at the gym, but I also love to chill out with Netflix and a cup of tea (T2 New York Breakfast, if you're interested). I am a music lover with a taste for all genres, the only strong aversion I have is country music... a year spent on a Midwest college campus in the U.S. did nothing to help this situation. I like to keep organised, which helps my productivity and mindspace (a must when it comes to assessment period) but I am very easygoing and always happy to help out around the house in any way possible! I'd love a long-term place to live, and am flexible with move in dates. Please don't hesitate to get in touch, I'd love to hear from you!
Hi, I am looking for a place to live near Calvary Hospital - Bruce. I am a 24-year old nurse who works full time in the hospital. I would like to find a place near the area and/or team-up with another professional to rent an apartment. I am tidy, neat and respectful. I always clean as I go. I have no problem with going along with people as I am open-minded. If you find any place and is considering someone to help you with the rent, I am the right person. I am certainly a good person with sincere intentions in life. Thank you.
Hi, I am currently studying at Canberra Makeup Academy. I am from Batlow NSW and work there packing apples. I also bar-tend part time. I like being social and going out on the weekends but stay pretty quiet during the week. I am friendly and easy to get along with so would like to live with people the same. I really love travelling, going on adventures and doing new things. :) I am new to Canberra so would love to make some new friends.
I'm a very easy going student currently studying at ANU and working a retail job. I'm easy to get along with, and looking forward to living in a nice relaxed group environment. I tend to keep to myself most of the time, but I enjoy socialising as well. Always keen to play video games, board games, and I love horror movies, but I'm always happy to just chill.
I'm looking to move as soon as possible into a house where I can have my dogs as my current place does not allow them. Right now I'm looking for people to join me in renting a place somewhere in the Gungahlin area that allows pets but that's just a preference my dogs are happy to stay where they are as well. I'm a public service contractor that's lived in Canberra my whole life. I'm pretty out going and active I gym every day, ride motorbikes and love to long board and snowboard. When I'm home I usually veg out on my computer and keep to myself but always up for a chat and I'm a pretty great councilor and advice giver so if any life problems arise I'm always happy to help.
I am respectful and considerate of other's space, belongings and opinions. I live a healthy life style. Well as much as possible. I enjoy having a relationship with those I live with and also know that alone time is a must for certain occasions and situations. I believe living together is fulfilling, when there is mutual understanding of each others thoughts and ideas. Being able to respectfully communicate and compromise on all areas of living. Forming a considerate and trusting relationship within the household. I enjoy socializing on a one on one or in a group setting. I am currently doing a Cert3 in age care and some volunteer work at the ADRA Op shop. I am passionate to make a difference in another persons life and to be able to make someone else smile, is a blessing to me.
I am an American student coming to Canberra for a summer internship. I'm a pretty easy going dude. I am a pretty active person, I play rugby in the states and will probably be looking to hike, hit the gym, explore the country, and check out Aussie netflix in my free time. I'm a fairly social person; equal parts down to grab a drink or just chill, but also respectful of your space when needed. I'm excited to meet some new people and make new friends, let's make this a summer to remember!
I am looking for a room. I am a middle aged man who dabbles in writing, performing and counselling. I am 'spiritually' minded, for want of a better word. I have been either house-sitting or renting for a few years after the end of a long relationship. The place I was in Mort St Braddon was sold. I have temporary accommodation thanks to a lovely friend. I like to meditate, go out to places like The Front Cafe or Smiths, art openings and other things around town. I have a lot of friends of different ages. I like reading and going into the bush and I can cook well. I cannot drive as I have a genetic eye disorder but my brain seems to compensate a lot; so other than driving I am quite functional. I am pretty clean and tidy. I can pretty much talk about anything and I am quite 'chilled.' Also, I have plenty in my bank account to pay rent with, just not enough to buy; I am also on the visual disability pension Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
Hello! My names charlotte. I'm Moving to Canberra to start my studies in beauty therapy and work part time. I'm a easy good gal who loves company of others but can respect having alone time. I'm very active with my time, I'm either working, hanging with friends, going out, gym, cleaning! As I'm really into beauty and makeup I like to spend a lot of time in the bathroom doing girly things, if you're happy to share you're space I'm happy to share mine. I'm happy to live with anyone (female, male, couples) but as I'm new to Canberra I'd love some new friends I could get along with and have a bit of fun along the way! Looking to move the 1st of May. Looking forward to meeting my new roomies x
Relocating to ACT for a new contract / Study. I'm super tidy, respectful, easygoing (awesome sense of humour even if I say so myself :), non-smoker. I'm single but not dating so you won't have random people in your lounge room, I'm just here to work and study for the next year and want a clean, convenient, quiet place to do that! Since I am relocating a furnished room would be perfect but not essential. Ideally own bathroom.
Hi, I am moving to Canberra in April 2017 after living in Dubai for 14 years - very excited about settling in a new place! I love to have meaningful conversations, reading, learning new things, practicing Yoga and exploring nature. I am respectful of personal space, clean and organised. Professionally, I am a Training and Development specialist, on the look out for job opportunities. Looking for friendly and responsible housemates.
Hey there! I've recently moved over from Perth for work and am looking for some lovely people to share/rent with! During the week you'll most likely find me catching up on work (sad life I know) or binge watching tv series. On the weekends I enjoy going out for food/casual drinks and try to explore more of Canberra! I am tidy, friendly and respectful of others and their personal space and am looking for others who are the same. Please feel free to shoot me a message if you'd be interested in chatting and possibly teaming up to find a place! :) xx
Hello, I desire a clean environment and understand shared living space, respecting each other's possessions and schedules. I am often out of home and desire a quite place to study, rest and relax. I believe effective communication is key to a successful tenancy, I am always available if there are any concerns and invite you to be open and honest with me.
Hi there, I moved from Adelaide to Canberra to work full-time at CSIRO. I'm quiet, friendly, and respectful of people around me. I live a pretty minimalist lifestyle (clean, tidy, no clutter!), and like having a chat at the end of the day, but I also like my alone time, and respect that other people need this as well! Though my background is in science, I also have a love of the arts - music, film, books, photography.
We are an easygoing, respectful and open minded couple moving from the Netherlands to Canberra, to do a fulltime internship at CSIRO for 6 months. During the week we will be working and in the weekends we would like to explore the area and meet new people:) We have both been living in a housesharing situation for 5-6 years in Amsterdam. We both like sports and being outdoors. Send me a message if you can help us out or want to know more about us!
What I'm looking for: I'm in the process of selling my home in rural NSW (Settlement is 16th May so looking to move between 1- 15 May) and will be house sitting in Canberra/NSW so I'm looking for a long term home base in Canberra or Qeanbeyan to stay in between house sits. Preference is for other house mates to be 40+ years old that respect one an others personal space while still being able to share common areas of the house without awkwardness. I will need a bedroom that can accommodate a queen side bed and side tables plus small dresser, has a built in robe and my own bathroom.Your pets are great as I love animals. About me: I'm an early riser (5am!), happily single, all things artistic, spiritual, honest, like a bit of friendly banter, clean and tidy, like gardening and work in Tuggeranong (sometimes for long hours depending on the time of year). Really I would be the perfect house mate because I would be away for long periods of time! Let's chat and see if we're a good fit. Weirdo's need not apply :-)
Hey! I am a 23F, who works full-time at Calvary Hospital Bruce. I work week on week off: my week on I pretty much live at work, so you won't see me much, but on my week off I enjoy my down time, travelling, and visiting my family. I'm a social butterfly, and find i'm easy to get along with. I love a social chat/drink, but also appreciate alone time. I can cook, clean, and come completely toilet trained... I also have a Netflix account! (All round package here i know!) I also enjoy burritos, beer and cheese. Looking to move in with people that have similar traits, can be both professional and friendly, people who don't mind a chat over dinner to wind down after work. If you're an easy going person, and think we'll get along, get in touch- i'd love to hear from you. :) ps: i do have a cat! Meredith- she isn't a make or break though as my parents have offered to take her if i cannot have her with me... but would love for her to be able to join me!! PPS: it won't be until mid April that I could move in.
I'm arriving Canberra early June from the US to begin my physics post graduate degree at ANU. I'm a shy nerd who's quiet and keep to myself most of the time. I will spend a lot of time in a cafe during weekends (if one's available nearby). I like to draw, watch Netflix, read manga, and play video games when I have time. I'm down for outdoor adventures if the weather permits. I enjoy trips to pubs every once in a while. Not a heavy drinker, not a smoker, not a party creature. Looking for a quiet place somewhere that's within half an hour bus ride to ANU. A bedroom with private bathroom, an ensuite, a granny flat, or a studio is preferred. I'm a cat lady so if you have a cat I'm totally cool with that.
I am 26 years old and work full-time in the public service and after work I generally head to the gym, so, some nights I don't get home until after 7pm. During the week I tend to keep to myself but happy to share a meal, drink or a movie on weekends. I am extremely reliable, respectful and helpful - so no issues getting rent or bills out of me :) I have no problem with overnight visitors/boyfriends/girlfriends as I hope people who are okay with me having an overnight visitor a couple nights a week. I currently have household furniture such as, fridge (new), lounge set, kitchen items etc which I am happy to use or to leave in storage and I also have a vehicle I will need to accommodate for. I'm ideally looking for a place, big enough for a queen bed and other furniture, with my own bathroom (preferably an ensuite master room). Happy to move in as of 7 April 2017.

Any questions, let me know.
laid back and up for pretty much anything, not big drinkers or partiers but doesn't mean we won't dance and chat the night away with you. We enjoy outdoor activities like camping fishing and anything adventurous but we also like a good Netflix sesh. Board and card game nights also make for a good social night. We have three beautiful well behaved dogs and a very friendly cat all house trained and dogs are outside when no one is home. There is a horse if you like horses who is kept at park wood. Look forward to possibily being your house mate Kim and Freja
I work FT in communications and web, looking for one or more friendly & clean girls to find an inner-city place with a backyard as I have a cat and eventually want a puppy. I have a full house worth of furniture looking for a home. I'd like to live with a female, non-smoker, someone relatively quiet at home, clean & tidy who works FT and is keen to chill out with a wine/ dinner/ lame rom-com every now and then. Looking to find myself an ensuite room because I have a lot of furniture/ impulse control issues when shopping. I'd love a place near the city if possible with a backyard so that I could buy a dog in the future 😊 In my spare time I love adventuring, art, the markets, running and hiking!
I am an ANU full-time engineering student(undergraduate), very quiet but also enjoy occasional chats or a little bit of wine or beer(no worries, never do I get drunk). Respecting others' privacy and living habits has always been my common practise and I am expecting the same from my flatmates. To add to this, I clean up after myself and live a regular life(early bird). I would be a long-term tenant who pay rent and bills on time. By the way, I love painting and baking. Anywhere within 25 minutes by bus or bike to ANU(close to City Centre) would be fine for me. If you have any properties to offer, please contact me. Thank you!
Hi! My name is David, I am 24 years old and I am originally from a small town in NSW called Cootamundra. I am easy going, punctual, friendly and always clean up after myself (it's always nicer to live in a clean house). I am also very into skiing and plan to do plenty of trips up to the snowy mountains during winter so if you are into that sort of thing or want to try it out, I'd be more than happy to drive you up!

Hi people, I'm a very relaxed person who likes sport and playing golf. I work pretty long hours (8-8) during the week as an Investment Analyst but I also enjoy having a beer or two on the weekend. More than happy to give people their space or be more social if that's what they're up for! When living with people I believe in good communication and being considerate to others. Cheers
