Hi there future flatmates! I'm Minglang, a mature ANU student(so preferably the location will be within 25mins' bus or bike ride from ANU). I am friendly, open-minded, respectful, the qualities which make my life nice. I love to keep my place clean and tidy, enjoy reading, music, movies, and of course cooking (western or eastern, depends on my moods)~ But don't worry, no scary smokes or hassles involved so your kitchen will always remain clean. I am currently involved in an online subtitling team of translating Jordan B Peterson's lectures to Mandarin. So you know why I am keen to keep my room tidy as it affects me psychologically as well! :)) I love playing badminton. And my Taekwon-Do course will begin soon(!) I am quite sociable and would love to have a chitchat with you in off time. The gender of the future flatmates really does not matter too much for me as long as you are a good and responsible person because I am...haha. Sorry but I prefer not to live with cats or kids. I don't smoke and have no pets with me. Not a party animal. Flexible with my length of stay:) Cheers

Hello there! I’m moving to Canberra to study at UC next year and am looking for a room in a share house around $150p/w. I’m planning on driving across from Perth late Jan but am happy to start paying rent earlier so I have a place to go when I arrive haha. I’m a very clean, tidy and organised guy, early to bed and early to rise. I’m pretty active and live a very healthy lifestyle. Love a good healthy, weekly meal prep and don’t often drink (unless everyone else ). I spend quite a bit of time with outdoorsy pursuits hiking, running, camping etc. I have been living in share houses for a few years now with many other housemates so I know how it all works. I’ll also be bringing my doggy with me. She’s a small/medium mixed breed mutt who is super affectionate and friendly. She has a big personality will work her way into your heart (guaranteed). She loves nothing more than to curl up next to you on the couch at the end of a long day, or a short day – pretty much anytime really. She’s house trained and very obedient. I would love to find a house where she can stay inside during that day because I don’t reckon her short hair and slim frame will lend itself to the frigid winters. I’ll be studying full time, working part time and walking the dog part time but when I’m not doing those things I’ll be exploring Canberra or hanging out in the communal areas of the house. I’m pretty social, always up for chat and a yarn - I won’t be spending much time hiding in my room though I do respect peoples need for personal/quiet time. I would love to find a house with peeps I can be friends with and can do housemate activities with. I enjoy living with social people more than anything! Won't be bringing much with me so a furnished room would be ideal but I'm not fussy. Thanks!!
Hello, I am currently studying at both ANU and UC, and work at UC as a lab assistant. I'm pretty quiet and tidy. For fun, I usually play video games or browse the internet. I'm preferably looking for a place that has some space, as I'm moving out of student accommodation (which is tiny).
I am currently studying full time at university (b. Sports and Exercise Science / b. Sports Management) and working 3-5 days a week as a waitress and in events, plus completing an internship. I will often be out at uni or work, but would like to socialise with my housemates occasionally when I am home! In my spare time I enjoy watching all sport (I get a few spare tickets to all Raiders home games that would be available for my housemates most of the time if they're interested), going to the gym, reading a good book and going for coffee with friends. I also love to travel when I can get time off! I am a considerate, clean and tidy person, and am good at sharing responsibilities. Having my own bathroom would be a huge plus, but it's not a deal breaker if that's not possible.
Hi guys, My name is Ben. I am 27 years old, work full time in the department of defence at Russell Offices and looking for somewhere to call home over the next 12-24 months. I have been living in rentals for the last 5-6 years of my life, am very tidy, respectful of others space but also enjoy a good chat or a beer on a Friday. I don’t start work until the end of the month so am pretty much free anytime however would like to have something sorted by the end of next week (25th Jan). I am currently in the process of moving down from Darwin where I lived in a 4 bedroom house on my own. I have quite a bit of stuff such as brand new top of line washer and dryer, fridge, kitchen utensils, coffee machine, large 5 seater couch, coffee table, surround sound and 55 inch smart led tv (just to make a few). If not required though some of this may be able to be placed into storage which is no issue. I also have a few tools and see myself as a bit of handy man around the house. I enjoy keeping fit, cooking and exploring what this city has to offer. I will usually be working from 7:30 - 6pm and may be required to travel around the country for a few days here and there. Regards, Ben
Hi! I’m a 26 year old CSU student studying Oral Health. I have roughly 3 months of placement in Canberra and looking for a place to stay! My placement begins at the start of March And I would prefer a furnished room. I don’t mind being social or keeping to myself, very easy going and respectful of others. I don’t smoke and my partying days are well behind me! Will spend most of my spare time studying
Hey, my name is Jamie and I'll be studying in Canberra. I'm easygoing and more than happy to help around the house. I enjoy cooking, photography, and going for runs. I like going out but prefer Netflix and a heavy doona most nights. So far this is sounding very cliche so I may as well double-down and cover all my bases by stating that I'm looking for a fun but relaxed; open but cosy; quiet but adventurous place to live. To be honest, I'm quiet and respectful and I'm looking for a place that matches.
Ex-Sunshine State in town 1 month for work. I'm a big gamer, foodie and muso when time allows. Fun fact about me: I've recently spent 6 month abroad in Detroit flat-mating with a Frenchman who passed on a glorious French Onion Soup recipe... Whether your house is quiet/social, filled with pets or social butterflies - I'm flexible.
I'll be moving out sometime mid this year. Im looking a getting my own rental. I'm hopefully looking for a roommate to help with rent, utilities will be spilt 50%. HMU if you think you are looking for a place somewhere quiet, good for studying, and fine around small dog (house trained and doesn't bark much). I already have an unlimited internet plan its $90/mo Some furniture is supplied, couch, desk, dinning table and chairs.
Your stock standard APS grad moving from interstate to become another soulless public servant! Enjoy spending time with housies over a cute Netflix sesh, highly obscure conversation or curry, and the occasional house party but happy with my own space as well. Into foreign languages, keeping fit (late night runs are a thing), food, and dark humour. Am house-trained. Adrian is a private sector grad and Tom is completing legal studies at ANU while working in hospo. Both enjoys bevs, shindigs, obscure conversation, and are happy with their own space. We're either after a whole new lease or a house which is agreeable to the above interests and is accessible to Civic and Kingston.
Hi, I’m Zoe. I’m a quiet, nice country girl starting a diploma of screen and media in early Feb at CMA training. I’m tidy, respectful and know how to live independently as I went to a country boarding school for six years. I like a good scotch on nights out, I love movies and playing/watching sport. Rent is guaranteed as my parents are paying for it. Looking forward to starting my life in Canberra and making close friendships with my new flat mates.
I will be relocating to Canberra for a Grad Program in early Feb and keen to meet new people and explore the area. I'm friendly and easy-going, love getting outdoors and staying active, and enjoy both quiet nights in and casual nights out in equal measure! I like to keep my living areas clean and tidy, and enjoy spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking over the weekends. I'm always keen for a chat and hanging out but also enjoy my own space and respect that of other people's. Ideally I'm looking for a flatmate in their mid- to late-20s who will also be working full-time and is friendly, tidy, laid-back, and social.
Hello! Great to meet you. My name is Angus I'm a 28 year old from Perth (WA) moving to Canberra to commence full time work. Straight off the bat I've done share house living for a number of years so I have experience in living with others. I am clean, tidy, courteous and am always willing to do my fair sharing of the cleaning. I also always pay my rent and bills on time! With that out the way a bit about myself. Outside of work I am a semi-pro triathlete and spend a lot of time outside of work, so I am usually an early to bed and early to rise sort of person. Don't let that put you off though as I enjoy nothing more than socialising and sharing a meal with the people I live with (whilst also appreciating people need their space). The best thing about being so active is that I love to cook and eat good food. Beyond that on weekends I enjoying going to concerts, having a beer in a pub and all types of social activities in between. I have no problem with pets of any type and also own a car. Hopefully I am a good match for your place. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with me and I look forward to maybe living with you soon.
Hello! I am a science PhD graduate from Adelaide looking for somewhere to live in Canberra while I study at ANU next year. I am super friendly but fairly quiet, tidy, and I love cups of tea and glasses of wine with equal measure. I am vegetarian, but don't mind if you are not, and I love cooking, walking and learning (failing) to roller skate... I have a partner who is staying in Adelaide for now, so I am looking to live somewhere where it will be ok for him to come and visit/stay sometimes. Let me know if you think we might be a good fit!
Hello there! I'll be moving to Canberra from Sydney at the end of January to work for the APS. I'm super easy-going, very organised and tidy, and totally a people person (but I simultaneously completely love and respect the concept of "me time"). When I'm not working, I love being outdoors, especially if it's anything water-related, or hanging out at home and watching TV with a cup of tea :)
Hi all. I'm looking for a place to live in the Belconnen area. Very sociable, easy-going guy. Grew up in a small town, but I've lived in Newtown, Sydney for the last couple of years. Studying to be an English teacher and wanting somewhere to stay while completing my degree. I enjoy video games, playing music, movies, going to the gym and running. Fine with pets (especially fond of cats) and consider myself a respectful, cleanly housemate. Love to hear back from some people.
Hey there! I'm Adi, a recent uni graduate currently working a part time job. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports, making websites, reading novels, and creative writing. I'm a pretty laidback person, and am always up for a chat with interesting people (over drinks or food is even better!) I'm looking to move soon to a clean, quiet place well connected to the major hubs (like Civic and Belconnen). If you're someone who is mature and organised, but don't mind sharing a laugh together, we'd be great housemates. Other perks worthy of mention: Can cook up a mean stir fry Solid teammate at pretty much any game Avid dog lover If this sounds like someone you'd like to live with, hit me up!
Hi! I am an APS grad starting in early Feb, moving down from Brisbane having just completed my Bachelors in Journalism and Law. 25, friendly, clean and tidy, have lived in share houses the last five years and college dorms before that. I'm always up for a chat, enjoy sharing a meal and making a place feel like a home, but appreciate we all have our down time. Love the outdoors, I'm anticipating a few hiking adventures and ski trips so would love a flatmate who's keen to get around that! Resident doggo/s not a problem.
