Hello, I'm Jey, a professional working a number of contracts. I work from home most of the time. I'm very clean and reliable. I mostly keep to myself. I've a 13 year old staffy x jack russell. Rodney is by my side most of the time, thus he needs to be allowed inside. He's very clean and well behaved. He's getting older, so sleeps a lot, but is very friendly. Rodney needs a fully-fenced yard, and cannot be around any other animals. I can provide a reference for Rodney. I'd prefer clean and quiet housemates. I'm looking for a place for at least 6months, but will most likely stay longer if it's a comfortable living environment. I hope to hear from you soon.

I am a 5th year student at ANU and have just returned from 3 semesters overseas. I am a very independent, friendly, relaxed person. I like doing my own thing but also very much enjoy socialising with others. Easy-going and adaptable :). I will be heading back to Canberra in mid January so am available to see the house and meet the housemates from then :). Thank you!
Hey there! My friend, Bridget and I are looking for 2 bedrooms in an apartment/house in the Bruce/Belconnen area, preferably walking distance to the Uni of Canberra. I am about to commence my fourth year of a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Canberra, and I work part-time in retail while Bridget has completed her degree of a Bachelor of Heritage and will be working throughout the year. Having lived with other students at various accomodations at UC for our first 3 years, we have a lot of experience with share houses and know our boundaries and space! We're both quiet and tidy, but also enjoy socialising. Also, our parents are more than happy to help with our rent. Please message me if you have 2 spare rooms and feel that we are the right fit for your place :) Thanks!
Hi, I'm Grace! I've moved to Canberra from Perth to start work with the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet I'm looking to share a place somewhere in the inner South or inner North. I am clean and tidy. I enjoy going for walks, reading a good book and photography. I am looking forward to getting to know my housemate, but also understand the need for personal space and alone time. Ideally, I would like to share with someone I can share an occasional meal with. Am looking forward to new experiences and meeting new people.
I'm working full time in the Public Service, very clean and respectful and come with two dogs! A 4 year old red heeler, Buddy who is an outside dog and loves all people and animals and a 1 year old chihuahua, Boo (Princess Boo) who loves all people and animals but sleeps inside and needs her own space - only for her protection because she's so small!
Hi! I'm moving to Canberra to start an APS Graduate position (full-time). I'm easygoing and quiet but sociable. A big fan of live music, red wine, cooking, reading and watching lots of TV/movies. I also enjoy hiking and snowboarding. I'm happy to go out, stay in, share a meal, chat, or relax by myself and give you space :) I'm tidy and organised, and by all accounts easy to get along with. Looking to live with 1-2 other people in an established sharehouse or to setup something new! I'd like to complete my move by Feb 13th but I'm open to moving from the start of February.
I’m Haynes, 23 years old, and from Melbourne! I’ve just landed a full-time job in the APS and I’m moving to Canberra in January. As it's my first time living in Canberra, I’m keen to explore new venues/bars/restaurants and see what the city has to offer. I'm a very respectful, tidy and happy housemate who loves to be social but can also respect others personal space. I don't have any pets or dependents & I'm interested in securing long-term accommodation. Things I like: - Food festivals - Films - Good coffee (basically a pre-requisite to living in Melbourne) - 80’s music - Reading - Hiking/jogging - Cycling Ideally I'm looking for my own room in a friendly house. I’m interested in a long-term rental close to the city or universities – but I’m flexible. Shoot me a message, I’d love to hear from you.
Hello 😊 I am a recent graduate from Brisbane and moving to Canberra for full time work in the public service. People often say I am easy-going & responsible. I am clean and tidy and I also enjoy cooking. I like to get out on weekends to socialise, however I also value quite time. I love travelling, seeing places and trying new things.
Hi, I'm Kai and moving down from Sydney as a grad in an economics related field. I love to check out cafes, listen to indie and jazz music, read, and play board games (I have a growing collection that is just asking to be played). I'm also learning German and French. I'm keen to hang out and socialise, but I'm equally happy relaxing at home. I have shared happily with flatmates for almost a couple of years now. I'm friendly and keep things in a clean state. Looking for a share place that's pretty central in Canberra. Please feel free to contact me!
I am willing to chip in to all household chores and can whip up some pretty good meals and would be happy to cook sometimes for my housemates. Im a nurse coming to live in act to attend university commencing 13th of feb. Im looking for an initial place to live whilst settling into uni. There is the possibility of going back to sydney in 3 months hence looking for only 3 months atm but may need to extend this depending on whether i stay in canberra or not
Hi, I'm Sabrina, sent to Canberra by my company and having been in here for 2 months. I'm fun and laid-back, enjoying food and binge-watching movies. I work full-time but would also love to socialize!
I'm a full-time student moving from Brisbane after just finishing degrees in Engineering and Science at the University of Queensland. I'll be starting an Astrophysics PhD at the Australian National University (Mt Stromlo Observatory) in March. I'm very chilled out, mature, tidy, not easily annoyed, enjoy having friendly chats, and exploring all that Canberra life has to offer! I like to keep the house clean, and am very respectful of others' personal space. I'm also pretty light-hearted, and enjoy socialising and having a laugh. I'd be most interested in living with other like-minded students, but also enjoy interacting with all different types of people.
Hi, my name is Jade. I am 21, moving from Perth Western Australia for a job in Canberra! I am really social and friendly, however I will be studying and working full time, so I probably won't be at the house all that much! I am an easy-going, friendly and clean housemate, hit the gym a fair bit, but I'm also happy to have a Friday night pizza and beer, and hang out with housemates. Alternatively, I am also more than happy to just do my own thing, but would prefer to live with people who love a chat, might want to come on a road trip, or give advice to help me learn to ski over weekends in winter! :) I enjoy a balance between work, study and the rest, and love being active. Happy to live with guys/ girls/ older/ younger. Send me a message if i might be a good fit for your home! :)
I am a International Studies graduate moving to Canberra from Brisbane to start an APS graduate program (full time work) in the beginning of February and am looking for a room in an apartment/unit/townhouse, preferably with a female roommate (20s-30s). I am organised, clean, pretty quiet and respect the importance of privacy but also would love a roommate to sometimes chat and hang out with after work (over a glass of wine or a movie/netflix) Love to be social on weekends and having people over for dinner or going away on a day-trip. Other things about me: can cook, have lived overseas, am a cat lover, and am into fitness and snow-sports. Happy to bring any furniture or appliances needed! NB: I have an older Burmese cat I would love to bring down with me but its not a requirement.
Hi all, this will be my first interstate move and it is both exciting and terrifying. Im an easy going, open-minded guy, moving from Adelaide to begin a B. Languages at ANU. I've previously done my BSc, Honours and started a PhD, but that fell on its face so now im looking to change it all up and do the arts degree I always wanted but my parents didnt :D Im not only into science but I love ancient history, anime, gaming (consol/pc; roleplayed a smidge), horror movies, languages (Francophile), politics and a bunch of other stuff. I enjoy great conversations (w/wo drinks/cheese platter), even if its just me listening to someone else's area of expertise. Im respectful of others privacy, I know i like my alone time just as much as any one else. Dont have much to bring with me, bed (queen; but can get double), bookcase (with books and trinkets), ps3, desk, chest-of-drawers if needed. But given limited space, I can condense. I travel light, and am still equally excited and terrified to move.
Hello, I work full time in the Canberra area for the govt. my partner is currently studying overseas and looking to rent a room throughout this year. I am very clean and tidy, very keen on keeping fit and enjoy cooking. Very relaxed and often away weekends. Great company and enjoy a beer and getting out and about.
I moved to Canberra last January for work where I got a job as a public servent who works full time (mon-fri). I am a person who likes to keep to them self but also enjoys hanging out with people. I also enjoy cooking, watching movies/TV, playing video games and just relaxing. Thanks for reading.
Hi my name is Jedd, I moved in from Adelaide shortly before Christmas. Im working a really steady roster at JBHiFi in the city centre but I'm also studying VFX and Animation in Watson, and undertaking an internship in Acton at the Film and Sound Archive, so a place near the city or with good access to it is a must right now. I'm very clean and polite. I can cook for a group and I come with a staff discount at JBHiFi if we need to upgrade any ammenities. I like to get out a bit, either for drinks or the odd walk/jog, when it's in the budget I wouldn't mind joining a gym either. As far as hobbies, I'm big into both awful and good movies, comics and video games, I spend a lot of time illustrating too! I love pets if you have or want to have any, I have history as a pet/house sitter so people can vouch for me if you need it. I don't sweat the small stuff so I doubt theres any chance of friction living together. I'll be out of the house a fair bit anyways with all my commitments, but I'd love to be mates with whomever I lived with If you have any questions for me feel free to call or text me, I'm working till 5:30 most days though so apologies if any of my responses are delayed at all. I check my emails at lunch too! Cheers!
I'm moving from Sydney to start postgrad study at ANU first semester this year - I'm flexible with my moving date. I'm a mature individual, and I keep everything (but my sock drawer) tidy. I'm easy to get along with and I'm always up for a chat/being social, but am happy to keep to myself in the house if that's the go. I love sports, particularly netball, and am looking to get involved in a new club/team once I move. I'm a music fan (the non-snobby kind), and love to attend big concerts as well as local gigs. I'm open to different locations, though as a Sydneysider who has spent her life traveling and commuting to everything - I'd love to take advantage of the size of Canberra and live somewhere central.
hey there! I am looking to share rental accommodations. I am originally from Sydney, commencing work with ACT health in late Jan. Please contact for more details :) Thankyou!
I am moving from Brisbane to join the public service. I like to think of myself as having the right amount of social anxiety where I'm an extremely considerate flatmate who is still able to share a meal and/or laugh. I come with an excellent vacuum cleaner and am not hopeless at domestic activities. If you like Netflix and sarcasm then I think we could make something work.
Hi, I am currently living in Turner and looking for somewhere short term (4-5weeks) starting from Feb. I am easygoing and generally quite social, but am also working full-time so will be out most of the day and possibly away on weekends. I am from Melbourne and need to head back in early March, so I am only looking for short-term accommodation. Please get in touch if you have a room, and I would be keen to meet up for an inspection when possible. Cheers!
I'm currently 19 years of age turn 20 in September, working in retail over the holidays when school got back will be working as an LSA teacher teaching children with disabilities PE. Love the outdoors, always up for a laugh and drink, like to keep fit, just your average easy going girl get on with anyone and have a contagious bubbly personality. Also am very involved in rugby union train on a Tuesday and Thursday and game days on a Saturday.
I am a student who will be moving to Canberra from Brisbane to study Aeronautical Engineering at UNSW. I am very tidy and respectful of other's space but always willing to hang out and chat. I will always be out at work or uni so I won't be around the house too much. I may not be the best cook but if you need cakes or slices, I'm your girl. I can't wait to meet my Canberra family!
I'm a former working holiday maker from London, going de facto with my Aussie-Brit boyfriend of four years. Matt works full-time in IT and I'm in hospitality. Both of us are pretty easygoing and super sociable - we usually work, gym and Netflix in the week but love going out and meeting new people on weekends.
I am a tidy person to live with. I am friendly and always up for a chat. I work part time at the moment with two jobs. Ive lived in caberra my whole life and would love to experience living out of home. I love to cook and bake and go for walks.
I like cosy spaces and inspiring environments and I am most at ease when in nature and/or with good company. As for domestic-me, I like tidy areas and I clean up after myself to make the home clean and enjoyable for others. I'm from Orange, NSW but have been living in Manly, Sydney this year. It will be sad to make the move away from the beach but I am coming to Canberra to study at ANU, ready for a new chapter in my life. My partner is Swedish and we are blessed to have found each other! We like to travel and explore around the coast on our days off, and we both enjoy a good cup of tea.
Hi! I am 24 yr old looking to relocate to Canberra for work and study opportunities. I am looking for a room within the ANU campus surroundings or somewhere close-by and central. I have lived in share house for the past 5 years so I know the drill. I am a clean, outgoing, friendly person. I enjoy cooking, hiking and exploring new places, catching up on tv shows in my downtime, reading. I am more than happy to share a meal, glass of wine, chat but also respect personal space. I am hoping to find like minded flatmates.
I am a friendly and kind person who enjoys socialising with friends, being active and outdoors and having a netflix binge. I have lived in share houses for the past 5 years. I am a clean, respectful and tidy housemate. I have recently moved to canberra to begin a graduate job as an occupational therapist. I have a beautiful 8yo dog named milly whose currently still in Victoria until I can relocate her. I am looking for people who are interested in teamups, laid back and tidy nature who also are dog lovers 🙂
Hi there! I am a 22 year old female, I work full time at the Canberra Hospital. I am very easy going and love a good yarn and a few glasses of wine, but also love my own time just watching Netflix in peace. I do have a retired show dog called Mouse, she is a toy breed so pretty small, she is house trained and loves sunbaking and sleeping, she also pretty much attached to me so there is no option to leave her behind. I am a smoker but NEVER in the house and always clean up after myself. My living situation at the moment is less than ideal, I commute from Murrumbateman to Woden everyday and the time and petrol is just getting the better of me. So that's it! please don't hesitate to message me! G x
Hello! 24yo here about to move down from Sydney to start a role in the public service. While not really into partying til late, I love meeting new friends and will gladly have some fun over food, drinks, board games n movies. Most often found chilling on the PC/laptop and listening to music. It's my first time moving interstate but i've previously lived a year in Japan. I respect people's space/privacy and always clean up after myself. I love travelling and visiting museums and national parks - pretty excited to see what Canberra has to offer so will probably spend weekends out exploring when not taking a break at home. Personality-wise I am told that I'm friendly, easy-going and positive. Flexible around moving-in dates however the starting date for my full-time job is in the second week of February. Preferred length is stated as 6 months but is really flexible. Always happy to team up and establish a small sharehouse of 2-3 like-minded people also!
Hey! I am a mature, considerate, responsible and tidy person who loves my sport and is moving from Sydney to Canberra to study. I am very easy going and like to socialise but also keep to myself at times. I would like to move in for anywhere between a week to a few months at the least and then possibly longer depending on the situation :) Although my preferences are listed below, I am with any suburb/location in Canberra as long a there is parking :)

I'm looking for a short term stay (6-8 weeks) before I head overseas for a three week holiday, back for a couple of weeks then off for an extended period for work. I'm a professional, early 40's guy who is active, laid back and respectful. I started work in Canberra late last year, I'm easy going, clean, no mess, no stress, no fuss kinda guy. Looking in around South Canberra preferable Kingston which is close to work.
I am starting my Masters in Economics at ANU from 20 February, and am looking to relocate from Sydney to Canberra in the next few weeks. A bit about me: I am 23 and easy going, looking to move in with likeminded people. I have been sharing with my housemates in Sydney since March last year, so am well versed in the art of share housing. I know when to keep to myself, but also happy to share the occasional dinner/drinks. I clean up after myself always, and contribute to the household regularly. I am easy going, and will be working part time and studying the rest of the time. I also make a great cup of tea.
Professional looking to start a share house with one or two other people. Prefer 30+ and who are clean, tidy and trustworthy. I travel for work a bit so am not always home. Will be relocating to Canberra in Jan 17. Yes, I am in my 40's (insert sad face here) but I am very sociable and am down to earth and love to be able to have a laugh with my roomies. On the flip side am respectful of needing space and downtime. I stay fairly quiet during the week as I am an early starter for work, but do enjoy a wine and a chat, especially by the end of the week !! Love to cook and am happy to share a meal or go to the local ...
I'm relocating from metropolitan Melbourne to commence an APS graduate programme in February 2017. I'm perhaps different to other flatmates, may be its an age thing or maturity. I'm a Taurus if that means anything to some, it just sums up in abbreviation as to what kind of person I am. For fun... I'm into computers, computer games, gadgets and highly sophisticated toys (gadgets... again). I like landscape photography, cycling (road, mtb or electric). I also like racket sports (e.g. Squash, Badminton), gym and also driving in addition to exploration and getaways. I generally keep to myself and will either ride, walk or drive to work.
I am a very clean and tidy person. I'm not loud, I don't smoke nor drink. I don't go out clubbing and what not. I do like to socialise but I respect when you need alone time. I am from a place near Bega and I will be starting uni at UC on the 13th of February.
Hello! I am 22 years old and am moving over to Canberra from Perth in January 2017. I studied environmental science and geography and am going over to Canberra to start a grad job. I am looking for a place that is clean and tidy with a mix of social and solitude vibes. I went on exchange during uni and did the crazy social (not so tidy) house which I'm not looking for again - I'd just love to find something more clean and chilled out with house mates who'd like to have a drink/chat every now and again but where I can retire to my room and binge watch Netflix. Send me a message if you'd like to know anything more about me :)
I am easy-going. I am okay with occasional conversations but can also respect privacy. I will be staying home only for the night since I'll be at school most of the time. Most importantly, I share food, and I think that's beautiful. :)
Hi! My names Mik, I’m 26 years old and I’ll be moving down to Canberra from Sydney mid-March as I’ve sold my soul to the Australian Public Service :). I’m looking for someone to team up with for a 2-bedroom place with a garage. I’ll be moving out of my current share house with most of the furniture so moving into a furnished place/room in an existing share house isn’t an option for me. On the upside, you won’t need to worry about a fridge, dining table or couches! I’d describe myself as a clean & respectful housemate who’s laid back & enjoys good company. I work full-time as an electrical engineer and outside of work I’m into rock climbing, scuba diving or just chilling at home with a good book. I also dabble in guitar & piano and am always up for a jam. If you'd like to know more about me/are interested in teaming up, feel free to shoot me a message.
I'm 28yrs old, full time employee working in a bank. Clean and tidy, Fun loving, love to eat and travel. Own PS3 and can play games all day. I also have a washing machine, dryer, microwave, fridge which I'm happy to share. If you already have all or any of these things, I'd need a place to store all this. Enjoys music and movies. Looking for flatmate who enjoys similar hobbies. I'm new in Canberra and don't know much about this place and would love to explore. Flatmate who can become a friend will be awesome. I can drink anything but not a regular drinker. Don't like smoking next to me. Love to chat but need quiet time as well. I own a motorbike and will need a secured garage to park my bike overnight. Contact me
I'm a full-time public servant in my 30s, and a librarian, so you know that I can be mature, responsible and keep my place tidy and in order. At the same time I'm quite sociable, and love a chat over a cup of tea or something stronger - and I prefer to live in a place where the people there are sociable and make it a home, rather than just a place where people live and sleep. That said, I also appreciate my own quiet time when I need it. I also like to stay active and creative when I can - I enjoy swing dancing, cycling, a bit of hiking, playing the piano and ukulele (though not too late at night!). I'm not a huge sitting around and watching tv person, though I'm not too fussed if you are. Also like to go out and catch a bit of culture around town - or at least a live band. I've lived around the world, and finally moving to Canberra to call it my home for the foreseeable future, so I'm keen to settle into a place that's right for me - but also right for you.
We're a Canadian and Australian couple looking for a place to rent for a few months in Canberra. We love cooking, travelling and staying active... on the couch... with netflix (though Alaina is a keen swimmer and Ari is a keen runner). We are social and enjoy meeting new people, but also value a relaxing wine night. We're looking for a place with flatmates who are friendly, chill and happy to have two new faces around.
Moving up from Melbourne to start full time work. Looking for a nice place to live in Canberra, ideally with other like-minded people. Easy going, social, and a non-smoker. Interested in sports, especially rowing, skiing and rugby, and always keen for a chat. Feel free to drop me a line if you think we'd get on. Cheers!
Hi! I'm Kat and i'm looking for a place to live in Canberra in February 2017. I'm moving down from Queensland for a graduate role and am hoping to live close-ish to the city with a few other people (male or female). I will be staying in accom provided by my department from Feb 4th - 21st and will be looking for a place during that time if you'd like to meet in person. I'm easygoing and a go-with-the-flow kind of girl who likes to socialise, but I also like my alone time and respect others need for privacy. I am clean and tidy (but not too obsessive about it) and love to cook! In my downtime I like to work out and explore new places. Ideally would like to live with someone who can be a respectful housemate, but also a friend - the kinda people down for Mexican Mondays, GoT sessions and a drink and a chat on the weekends :)
Hey everyone I'm Sunil and I am due to start work as a public servant in the beginning of February in Canberra. I'll be relocating from Perth and am looking for a place to stay in as soon as possible. I don't have any specific preferences when it comes to housemates and open to stay with anyone. A little bit about me, I enjoy watching and playing sports including tennis, soccer and cricket and up for a jog or a gym session throughout the week. I am working towards being an okay cook (currently a little hit and miss with my cooking) and am willing to do the occasional cook off with my future flatmates. Apart from sports and cooking, I am a bit of a book worm, enjoy playing board games as well as watching TV shows and movies on Netflix and I do the occasional binge watch when I have the time. I am clean and organised and am very considerate to privacy and downtime when needed. I don't consider myself an extrovert but nonetheless like to socalise and spend time with friends rather than spending all my time at home. Lastly I would like to have the occasional dinner and drink with future housemates and I would love to be friends rather than just another person living on the premises. Hope to meet some of you soon!
Aidan and I are both young adults looking to move out of home. Both of us are tidy and able to cook and clean. I have a part-time job in Tuggeranong. We have our own personal furniture (bed, bookcase, set of draws etc.) but can pitch in to buy things such as cooking utensils and other furniture if need be. In our spare time we (mostly Aidan) play video/computer games, read, and other quiet things. We are also interested in camping, indoor rock climbing, and hiking etc. We are looking to move out around the beginning of March, or possibly sooner, depending on how things turn out.
Moving to Canberra to start Full time employment with Geoscience Australia. I am very social but enjoy and respect personal time and space, also very clean in kitchen and shared areas and expect the same from other housemates, Personal rooms are yours to do with as you want. I am quite active, usually training one sport or another (mostly Judo and Ultimate Frisbee), and enjoy getting out of the house on weekends and traveling, my girlfriend would visit for weekends from time to time I am looking for somewhere reasonably quiet, but do enjoy a drink on a social night every now and then, I am starting to amass a collection of board games. Have lived with and get along with both male and female housemates, and age is not an issue, also LGBT friendly. If I sound like you could live with me let me know, Cheers, James
Howdy! I'm moving down from Brisbane to start a Masters Degree at ANU. I mainly want to stay in the Belconnen area as that is where my part-time job will be with easy access to ANU. I'm easy going and quite laid-back but am willing to do work around the place. I love to causally hang out with a small group of people. I am a very idependent person but like to share experiences with others. My interests include casual gaming, hiking, and getting out in the wilderness (I would be keen to check out what Canberra has to offer during the Semester breaks). Most of my time will be spent studying and working part-time with a bit of acoustic guitar learning and gaming when I can squeeze it in. I am very interested in getting 2-3 people together and finding a nice apartment. Cheers!
Hi, just recently received a job offer to be working within the APS, looking to move in ASAP, as I start work on the 15/02/17. Any where in the Canberra region is ok with me. I'm 25, relaxed easy going person. Happy to have a night out, or have a lazy time at home, or even jump in the car and go for a road trip, such as going for a fish, or even a wonder around the city. Currently my standard day involves work, then training finished with either tv, random shows or reading a book.
