Hi, my Name is Tjelcey, I'm a 19 years old exchange student from the Netherlands and i'm looking for an apartment from the end of June until November. I'm a second year student business administration and i'm going to the RMIT University in Melbourne. I'm looking for a apartment or preferably a studio near the university, for around 800 a month. I would describe myself as a really neat person who respects privacy. If you would like to know more about me don't be afraid to send me a message!
Well I've been in this amazing city for just over a month now and I'm planning to make it more permanent. I'm working full time at a foundry in North Coburg at the moment and I'd like to find a place a little closer to work. I'm a pretty tidy and easygoing person. I don't have any pets (yet) but if you do I'll love them like my own haha, a good drink and some banter is always welcomed.
Hi! I'm Filippo, 29yo engineer from Italy. I just landed a job in Upfield, that hopefully would give me permanent residency. I'm looking for fun people to live with, I enjoy social and easygoing people. I like to cook, I have a lot of hobbies, I like the occasional wine after work and a good movie/netflix binge, but enjoy some privacy from time to time. I had my own house in Italy so I'm used to paying bills on time and cleaning, I like a clean house as anybody does. I like good laughs and bad jokes. I am racist against pineapple pizza but that's just my Italian heritage.
I am clean, tidy and very respectful. I am a social person who loves cooking and physical activity, very well rounded, knowledgable and very easy going. I have a large respect for personal space, and consider myself very easy to live with :)
My name is Allen Sierra. I'm from Florida, USA, just recently moved to Melbourne to pursue my master's degree at UniMelb. I like filming and video production. I am pretty neat and even-tempered.
Hi lovely people! What am I looking for? - Somewhere fun to stay with awesome housemates - Looking to stay for either a few months or for the long haul with the option of subletting my room when I go off for more than a month at a time (e.g. going to europe sometime this year) - Would be great to have outdoors or sports loving housemates that enjoy things like climbing, cycling, hiking, tennis or whatever else - A backyard would be amazing Why would you want me as a housemate? - I'm out of the house most of the time, working, I have things on most evenings and I'm often out for days or longer at a time on outdoorsy adventures - When I'm around, I like to be social, have a chat, share a beer or a wine, a meal, a movie or anything else happening - Got plenty of board games, and always keen on games nights - I have a car with plenty of space and a towball to help cart around big things - I enjoy working on projects around the house, and keen to do some gardening (by way of experimentation!) Frequently asked questions: - I was born here. Lived in NZ for awhile, and now back in Melbourne - I'm house trained. I'm not a neat freak, but believe things work nicer when dishes are cleaned soon after they are used (or the morning after if it's near bed time), objects are not blocking the walkways, and lawns are mowed - No dramas whatsoever about anyone's race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation - Left leaning, not that others need to be, but we'd probably get along better if we all were :) What you should know that might be an issue: - I would like a place where couchsurfers or visitors (anyone's) are welcome time to time - I like dumpster diving and won't hesitate to join anyone else willing or invite others - I'm mostly vegetarian but don't care what others eat / don't eat. Happy to be vegan in the house if others are
Hi, I'm Kate! I'm interested in living in a small - medium share house because I like getting to know the people I live with well enough to become friends. I also think it's just easier to maintain a share house with less people. I work a job with odd hours which and can be quite busy at times but in my down time I like doing creative things, meeting up with friends, trying new things or relaxing. Living in Coburg at the moment and love the area and community around these parts. Would like to stay around this area or anywhere around north side. I'm not a total clean freak but do like to keep things on the tidy side for practicality and sanity reasons. I really enjoy people and am quite relaxed about guests and meeting peoples friends and families that would like to come and visit. Would also be interested in going into signing up for a rental if anyone is interested in doing that. Looking to move in somewhere as soon as possible. Okay, that's all! Kate :)
I'm from Brissy and have just been offered a new role in Melbourne and will be looking to move into a room for 4 months until my partner joins me down south. I work fulltime in aviation and will be working in Tullamarine, so looking to base myself in easy distance to the airport. I have a social nature, but also like to have my own down time and respect everybody's space. Love wine, cheese and coffee so will happily fill the kitchen with these goodies at any chance. I will be flying to Brisbane most weekends to be with my partner, and every few weekends he will be staying with me for two nights so we get to see each other, happy to discuss this with potential roomies.
Hey guys My names Connor and I'll be moving back to Melbourne at the end of March after 4 years in sunny QLD completing a Bachelor of Building Design (Architectural). I am making the move back after being offered full time employment at a design firm in the far Northern Suburbs so will be looking at living within a 30 minute commute of South Morang. I'll be arriving in Melbourne over the Easter weekend and staying with a friend while I search for a room. When I last lived in Melbourne I worked as a bar manager in the CBD, as well as starting an events consulting business that sees me working as a stage manager at various music festivals in Vic and around the country on the weekends. I love a good wine, beer and a nice meal at home as a group, but know of the need for space sometimes. I come with a car, no furniture (yet) and a passion for health and fitness after working in Sports nutrition retail through my degreee. I love cooking and will usually be found preparing my meals for the following day each evening, and not forgetting the washing up part! While I love the events and entertainment industries I am most definitely not a partier, on the rare occasion that I let my hair down the fun doesn't come home with me. I am ideally looking for a furnished room with a minimum queen sized bed, adequate storage space such as a wardrobe and space for a desk for my work desktop.
Hey there, I'm Tanya and I work full-time in Administration. I’m easy to get along with, very neat & tidy and a friendly person. I like to keep to myself at times, however I also like to socialise and have a chat with my housemates, watching movies or having a wine, but still respecting each other’s privacy and space. I enjoy catching up with my family and friends, going camping and I’m just getting back into fitness so will be spending some nights at the gym. I would like to team up with 1-2 others in a sharehouse. Looking for some friendly like minded people (similar age) to team up and move in with. If you would like to know more, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’ll be happy to catch up for a coffee to see if we are looking for the same things in a roommate and place to live.
Hi I'm Liam, working full time as an engineer in Melbourne's CBD. I'm generally independent, but keen to have a social household with the odd shared dinner or quiet drinks after work. I don't have any pets myself but would love getting to know yours if you have any! I think I'm pretty easy going and I appreciate honest conversations should they need to come up. I love playing social sport on weeknights and chilling out with Netflix, tea and a crossword when winding down for a work night.
Hi there! My name is Casey, I recently moved from Brisbane to Melbourne and currently a full-time uni student studying a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science. I love sport and socialising, but also love having my own space at times and respect that of others too. I'm a neat and tidy person and would love to find a place where I can easily make new friends. :)

Hey everyone! Alex and Charlotte here, two full time workers in emergency services. We've found a lovely 3 bedroom townhouse in Coburg North north and we'd be keen to get someone to join us. Looking for a full time worker, preferably someone in a similar industry or that understands shift work. Alex is a vegan but doesn't bash people with his views, Charlotte loves Steak. Both like to exercise. Both social people. Shoot me (Charlotte because lets be honest the female does a lot the work here) a message and we can have a chat!
I am a Masters Programme student in the Uni of Melbourne Masters Programme.I was looking for a place in with peaceful, likeminded, hygienic minded people. I am a clean and tidy guy who respects people as well as their privacy. I am very peaceful and am an ardent believer in Trance Music.no worries you shall not be distrubed because of the music.I believe in spreading and sharing good vibes only. I can provide a helping hand if and when required and also bring a smile on their faces when really required :) I love to hangout, socialize and make new memories 🔥💯
Full time student studying Case Management in the CBD. Looking for a place preferably in the northern suburbs. I come from a small rural town so I’m keen to make my move to the big city! I currently live with my partner so I have gotten a taste as to what independent living is like. I’m very friendly, easy going but can also gladly keep to myself. As a roommate I’m very tidy (but not OCD), respectful and reliable to keep up with any chores required. Up for a chat anytime but as mentioned above I’m happy to do my own thing as well. I currently work casually but do full time hours, as well as being a full time student. Ideally I’d like to find another casual job closer to whatever area I move to but will need to secure a place first. I have a very strong work ethic so you can trust I can support myself and will be financially reliable. I’d love the opportunity to find a place so I can finally leave my country town and experience living like I’ve always wanted. Thanks :)
Hi! My name is Dan. I have recently arrived in Melbourne from Brisbane. I have moved to Melbourne for a work opportunity. I will also be studying at the University of Melbourne for the next year :(. Hi, My name is Rachael, I'm 31 and seeking a room in a relaxed share house close to the action of Melbourne since I've been living in Ballarat for the last year and a half. I run my own make up business from home and look after children around Melbourne. Having just rented a place for myself in Ballarat I have great references and am happy to participate in cleaning rosters. I'm content with my own company but also love having a chat, sharing a meal and have been known to join in with pub trivia and xbox nights. My interests are travel, art & craft, history, food. Love cats and dogs but have none of my own. I think that sums me up for now but please contact me if you have any further questions and especially if you think I'd be a good fit in your household. Cheers, Rachael
Hi, I'm Sunny, 25, I'm about to finish my Masters at Swinburne and work part-time as a Customer Representative at a Car rental Company. Looking for a houseshare to begin a new life with some quality people to be around. I'm not into heavy drinking nor parties and prefer a calm place to rest and study. But I'm not a freak, I really love the Australian BBQ and always up for chats anytime! Love TV-Shows, Movies, Gaming and Live Music.
Hi folks, I’m looking to either find some nice people to pair up with to look for a house together, or for an established cat-friendly home. A little about me: I’m a 27 year old cis woman, studying social work and psychology at RMIT full time and working in a call centre around 25 hours a week. I have a lovely 6 year old cat Ava, who enjoys eating and snoozing, and will spend most of her time in my room or napping on a chair. Work and uni keep me busy during the semester but would be down for a housemate who wants to occasionally hang out and have a wine or play board/video/card games. I’m a vegetarian but don’t mind if you eat meat, and similarly I don’t mind how you source your income as long as the bills/rent get paid on time. I’m after housemates who are happy to chip in around the house and like to keep things stress-free and want a welcoming environment. I have a few cute little items like a pink blender, record player, 70s lounge suite, coffee tables and ps4 which I’m happy to share with my housemates, and happy to pool money together for household items we don’t have. I’m a bit flexible with my move date but need to move out by early May when my current lease is up at my place. I am looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful (around $500pcm would be amazing! However I’m flexible with price as well) in the Pascoe Vale area and surrounding suburbs, which would be ideal for when I’m on placement in the second half of the year. If you have a suitable room, or would like to have a chat about teaming up please DM me
Hi my name is Damian. My day job is a full-time office support role within the CBD. Outside of work I play in a couple of local (original) bands. If I practise at home I usually play with ear phones in order to be respectful to other housemates. Even though I don't own a pet, I'm quite friendly towards felines or canines and most creatures great & small. Other interests include going to the Nova cinema, a couple of evenings at the gym or soon to be yoga. Also catching up with friends over a beer or a coffee, or taking a day trip out to the country. Having lived in share housing on and off I'm quite respectful of ones space, but also communicative, a general sense of tidiness and a general good sense of humour doesn't go astray.
I am a full time engineering apprentice who also studies part time at the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers. My girlfriend Shania is a full time university student studying a bachelors degree of primary education at the Australian Catholic University. She also works part time as a lifeguard. We are both really hard workers and are out working or studying most of the time and when we are home we like to keep to ourselves but also love to socialise!
Hey guys and gals! I'm looking for some awesome housemates and a new place to move into. I'm Irish an Audio Engineer and Lighting Technician whose about to start working at the Comedy festival in Melbourne. I'm just after moving back after working in Adelaide Fringe for the last 2 months so I wanna come back to the glorious city of Melbs to reinvest myself in the daily adventure that is city life. I pretty much live with the mentality "Live and let live" so I think I'm a pretty laid back housemate because of this. I'm a big fan music, gym, coffee(!) and hanging out. I'm looking to move my knowledge of Melbourne more Northways after spending much time in the southern suburbs and CBD Cheers Johnathan
