Hey, I'm Dom, 22 years old and grew up in brunswick. I'm currently working full time as a plumber and keep myself pretty busy during the week. I'm very clean, chilled and easy to get along with. I'm also very respectful of every ones space. I'm looking to live in a friendly house with people who enjoy having a chat, being around others while also having some quiet time sometimes too. If you think I'd fit into your home please send me a message :) Thanks!
Hi my name is Peter. I'm down to earth, respectful of people and property, and like to live in a clean environment. I'm looking for a place to call home, longer stay. At the moment looking for a full time job, hope to have one asap, and studying an online course. Although I'm on welfare I'm very conscious about paying rent and bills on time. Lived in Melbourne's North my entire life. For fun I play PC games, watch TV shows, and trying to get back out on my motorcycle. I know everyone enjoys some time to themselves, as I do, also want to get to know the people I'm living with.
Hi there. I'm an international student from Japan (female, in my mid-30s) studying business in a private college in the CBD. I also work in a café in Brunswick when I'm not at school. I consider myself to be a reliable, tidy person who is well house trained and friendly. I like cooking, reading and going climbing when I have time. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and starting a new life!
My name is Ali, I'm 36 and a student. I'm currently obtaining my Diploma in Youth and Community Services. Although I'm not home most times, I do enjoy good company (I love to discuss any topic, controversial or otherwise), cooking and maintaining a light mood all around. Most of all, I take great pride in keeping my immediate living quarters clean and presentable. Here is my current situation: I am unhappy where I reside. Please don't get me wrong, the folks here are fantastic but it is incredibly expensive and it is isolated. I wish to be somewhere more centralised where public transport and amenities are more available, not to mention be closer to family and friends.
I am currently looking for a quiet location on my own to allow me to fully concentrate on completing a degree in social work. I am a quiet and respectful tenant and my pet is a small, very calm, cat.
I'm relaxed, easy going. Pay attention to cleanliness but I'm not over the top. I enjoy socialising but also respect and value privacy. I have a passion for health and fitness... and a passion for beer and wine. Life is all about balance 😊
I'm chill, focused and striving to be successful. Financially prepared, music lover and animal lover. Why I would be great to live with? Respect, honesty and consistency is what I can provide. I can't guarantee perfection.. I can guarantee authenticity and a considerate nature.
Hi! I am Mayura from Goa India and I recently moved to Melbourne to do my masters in international development at RMIT. I've lived in flatshares for 4 years now so I'm well aware of what it takes to make a house a home . I like helping out with household activities and make sure to clean up after myself. I also understand and respect peoples personal space, but never mind grabbing some lunch or drinks every now and then.
Hello! My name is Laura and my boyfriend Chris and I are hoping to move to Melbourne in September. We're two Aussie's in our early twenties currently living in the countryside of New South Wales, hoping to find a room in a sharehouse or a one bedroom place of our own. I'm an artist/barista combo, and finished my Fine Arts degree last year. Chris is a fantastic plumber who's hoping to start his own business in Melbourne. We've been saving up for the last year to move somewhere fun and fresh. We're comfortable in most settings and don't make much noise unless it's the right time and place. Ideally we'd like to be immersed in a creative space full of like-minded people. We've both lived in lots of sharehouses before and know the drill, we're clean and we don't hide away in our room!
I'm a very quiet clean 59 year old male who's looking for a place. I pay my rent on time ALL the time. I'm VERY honest. I have RA and walk with a cane. My fiancée lives in Reservoir and I spend most of my time with her.
I have recently started working full-time as a Graduate Civil Engineer in the Melbourne CBD. I currently live at home with my parents in Wallan, but I am looking to live closer to the city in an effort to cut my travel times to work, friends and social activities. I have decided I am ready to take this step in independence. I clean after myself in all common areas, and try to keep my personal areas tidy. I am always up for a chat, but am happy to give people space when required. I enjoy watching the footy, playing games (board games or video games), seeing friends, going to gigs, and when I have spare time, photography. My weekdays are generally busy. Apart from work, I spend a lot of time after work seeing my friends and partaking in social activities. When I am not doing that, I like to chill at home, playing games, watching YouTube or just lazing about listening to music. My weekends are very similar, but I try to get one day at home to recharge for the week ahead. Looking for something which will be around 800pcm including bills.
Hi, My name is Dani, 29yr old professional looking for a place to house share. I do have my own bedroom furniture to bring. I am looking for either a 6-month or longer term arrangement. I am super easy going, would be more than happy to share meals or drinks but also respect privacy and keep to myself as well. Non-smoker. I am tidy and always keep my place clean so that wouldn't be an issue.
I'm a financial analyst working full-time looking for a convenient place with easy access to the city. I'm a neat and tidy guy who respects other people and their space and expect the same in return. I don't smoke, not the party/clubbing type, and all my friends are professionals mostly in the finance field. I'm a quiet laid back guy who enjoys doing charity work during the weekend, going out with friends, and learning to cook new dishes. I'm looking for a clean place, close to a station, and with an ensuite bathroom and toilet to move into for the long-term. I come with a car, so I'd appreciate if the property comes with parking, or safe on street parking. I would love to visit the property for an inspection and to introduce myself personally.
Easy going, jovial, tidy and Kinda OCD when it comes to cleanliness (basic stuff for an aspiring flatmate, i know). What's the catch? Well ... this is awkward... I'm French. Kidding! We are the best! And great cooks (it's in our DNA i guess). I must warn you though, this might be hard. I just got out of a year flatshionship in Auckland with the two most amazing guys ever. Long life lasting friends now, that i met in NZ. Can you compete? I know i can. I can work with a "do your own thing" flatshare, i intend to sometimes, i've got a girlfriend in Melbourne after all (she might visit my room, but don't worry, you'll only have one housemate). But what i really enjoy, is a House/flatshare where we can sometines eat, watch movies, go out if you feel like it! I do enjoy quiet nights too. I'm a laidback person. I work full-time in the north of Melbourne. Use to be in hospo, use to be a lawyer, use to be a baker, but now i am in Civil/commercial/landscape construction. So, I can afford a really nice place in the northern suburbs, but don't ask me 400 bucks a week for a matress in a corner of a share bedroom, i'll tell you to go love yourself (French=rude, remember?). Wanna meet me, got questions? Feel free to ask, i'll be nice, promise and i won't try to forcefeed you snails, promise too.
Quality Housemate™ who likes art, 80s synth pop, cheap wine and cheese. 20, studying fine arts and working part-time. Make a mean pasta sauce. Looking to live with respectful people willing to talk politics and B-grade tv-shows over the occasional dinner. I play music regularly - though always at respectful volumes/times - and come bearing copious numbers of books, instruments, and So Fresh cds.
I'm a 30 year old full-time store-person & student. I'm interested in sports, history/politics and art,(more appreciating than participating in). Enjoy my music; going to gigs; and playing guitar (don't worry I have headphones)Usually keen to get out of the house on the weekend for a drink/gig/event. Having lived in share houses ranging from 2 - 7 people since I was 18, I'm house trained and also not the kind of person to leave passive aggressive notes around, bugging other people about chores. I have; a 55"TV; small home gym; plenty of furniture; whitegoods; and other household items, that I can either bring or sell off, if not required. If you think I might be a good fit at your place feel free to give me a yell.
Full time social worker at DHHS on permanent contract, reliable, clean, considerate, busy and active. I love cats and dogs. I'm keen to be near the Merri creek tracks for running and cycling (I will walk your dog if you have one). Whilst I try to live a healthy and active lifestyle I am all about balance and like to unwind over the weekend with a wine or two. I'm from England originally and still very much a tourist at heart so will often head off for the weekend to explore.
quite person, on my head phones listen to my music, busy with kids schools. or detailing my car. in the end of the day i like to have a chat, love a great movie . i'm a tidy person. my kids have there own laptops , so they be studying or playing quietly behaved. i'm more a indoor person. but also from time to time love to travel to the Snow, Ocean, sight seeing photographer, some activities that involves long distance driving too. not often, but enjoy that moment when i do travel a weekend. i born Aussie, but grow up in MALTA island with a strong American Accent. some people enjoys that, some don't lol . i'm into gym,or sports when i have the time (which is rare to find some time in the moment).
Hi there, I am 32 from Italy, I am a fairly busy guy, but I always have time for a chat or a beer. I study and work, so i'll be out of the house during weekdays. I am quiet, mostly a home buddy, but I don't mind to go out for a gig and share a laugh every now and then. I also like to spend a sunny day in a park, away from the urban noise. If you like movie nights, count me in. I like to have my privacy and I respect the others'. At the same time I'll not be the guy who is always in his room. If we end up sharing a house, let's try to make the most of it, let's make it a good memory, not just a motel sort of thing. That's why I'd like to share with good and genuine people. My hobbies include meditation, guitar, yoga and technology. If this sounds good to you, please, send me a message and let's arrange an inspection. If you have any further question just message me please. cheers
*Pub Trivia host + Corporate event MC. *A professional VO artist & presenter. *Black belt in karate (12+ yrs) *Biomedical Scientist. *Speaks English, German & basic Spanish. Most people find that I'm kind of like the boy next door that you became good mates with when you were younger, who is almost like family as he will always be up for a chat, a drink or hanging out if you are around but also always has a few projects that he's working on so wouldn't be in your hair & annoying.... Think of..... A Golden Retriever.... but in human form.... (sounds weird until you get to know me haha)
I'm a good communicator and live by principles of mutual consent and mutual aid. I'm clean and tidy and always like to do my share of housework. I've just finished a Bachelor of Community Development. I'm looking to find some part time work and embark on a masters project in 2018 to look at the feasibility of setting up a tiny house intentional community. There is a lot of work to do to get myself organised for my research project in 2018 and this is the current focus. So I guess even though I am not formally studying, I am actually busy with getting everything lined up to commence the project. I am pretty much vegetarian and am passionate about social justice and the environment. My primary modes of transport are a bicycle and electric scooter.
I will be studying full time at University of Melbourne for a semester and looking for accommodation in Melbourne during my stay. I'm an easy going guy, 22 years old, from Copenhagen. I currently study management engineering At the Danish Technical University. Besides this I've also been working at COWI, which is a consulting firm, to pay my bills since I'm financially independent and up until now shared an apartment with my best friend in Copenhagen. Besides being financially stable I'm very used to cleaning the apartment frequently with my friend, so sharing chores and contributing will never be a problem on my behalf. I love meeting new people, and therefor also attending party's occasionally and cook some dinners together. I am very active guy who likes to run, play soccer and workout :D
Share house veteran looking to bring my mellow vibes to your comfy home. If someone had told me when I was young that I'd be living in share houses in my forties I might have done a hell of lot less cool shit and got into being a working stiff earlier. It is what it is, let's make the most of it. I'm fairly quiet these days, I get along with all sorts of folk, and I'm pretty good at sharing. Except with slobs. I've been doing the odd couple thing for a couple of years and that's enough. Health practitioner with some physical hobbies, cyclist, music lover, reader, broth maker, and middlebrow aesthete.
