Hi everyone! I am a 22 year old female from Sydney looking to create a new life in Newcastle! I will be studying law full time at UON and working part time in disability support. I am a friendly and laid back person who would love to make friends with potential flatmates, but is also respectful of the need for personal space :) I am a health conscious vegetarian who enjoys the outdoors, coastal walks, anything fitness related and going to the markets :) I also love animals and have a 8 year cockatiel and a 2 year old green cheek conure. I love them to bits and would prefer to have them come with me (option to stay in Sydney with my sister) - they would stay in my room. They are a bundle of joy and often come on day trips with me! Hope to hear from you if it sounds like we would be great flatmates! Moving date is very flexible :)
My name is Patrick, I just moved from Melbourne to take a job as an Analyst for an NGO in the healthcare space. I would like you to know I am 32 and conduct myself like an adult, including being clean about the house, paying bills on time, not making a ruckus and being cordial and an engaging conversationalist. Also, I can provide references to that effect. About myself, I can reduce myself to dot points as such: * I work in IT but I'm not like those other IT guys. * I cook really well on account of my mother being a chef and teaching me when I was little. * I've totes done a bunch of international travel which I take is important from reading other peoples profiles when I was in your position. * I'm Super Chill - (see above). * Liberal political views. * Just like, a really cultured dude; reads books and a cinephile Feel to ask if you have any other questions and I hope to hear from you!
I'm an easy going professional woman, working in Hamilton. Not a partier but I do like to hang out with friends. I have a little dog, she can come with references. She really well house trained and really well behaved. She keeps me fit :) Clean, friendly and tidy. Already living with someone from Flatmates but the house is potentially being sold or the owner is moving in. Would love to stay around Hamilton but happy to venture further.
Hi hey! My name's Caitlin, I'm 22, I work in a cafe called Bonta Vera (vegan cafe in Minmi). I'm also a freelance photographer and videographer in my spare time. I'm vegan, and stay pretty active, mostly going rock climbing both indoor (at the Pulse Adamstown gym) and outdoor on weekends. I keep to myself quite often when home but I can be social at times so always willing to have some nice chats and stuff. I have a 1 year old indoor only ginger cat named Ash who is veeeeerrryy affectionate so he will shower you with love and cuddles once he gets to know you. I have Netflix that I'm more than happy to share, I'm eco-concious around the house so recycling is a must, and I'm very very clean and like to keep the house organised so that it feels nice to come home to less mess. Looking for other people to team up with to find a place together or the right room available within my price range! Hope to get in touch! Looking for a pet friendly place please. I cannot part with my pet cat. If for some reason you can't reach me through this website :)
Hey there! Have recently moved to Newcastle for work and am seeking a place to live, hence the need for this bio. I’m 23, a nurse (meaning shift work) and would like to think of myself as an easy going, friendly person, always up for a laugh and chat so would not bother me if you have friends around, if anything you’ll find I’m more likely to hang out and socialise but I also understand the need for space and am respectful of this. I do adult well meaning I’m house trained and know how to clean up after myself, and very reliable with bills and what not, but I won’t lie, I can barely cook 2 minute noodles. If I’m not at work I am usually keen for a few (too many) beverages and a dance, like to get out of the house and explore or I’ll be binge watching Netflix, reading or playing games. I’m flexible with a move in date, and would like built ins/ furnished room but open to other options, I would also need somewhere to park my car, not fussed if it’s on/off street.
I am currently studying at the University of Newcastle (Newspace). I enjoy reading, cooking and catching up with friends over tea. I currently work within the sales/retail sector and volunteer with various activities. Love a good chat over movies, current events, The Simpsons and/or similar interests. I am respectful to the parameters of quiet time and understand the importance of maintenance and duties. Kind Regards, Summer.
Heyyy, I am Damilola, 23 and currently a student at UON city campus. I am looking for roomies (Preferably females) keen on teaming up and finding a place to call home together in this suburbs or other suburbs within close range. The same age group would be nice and are keen on making good friends. I am also flexible on the rent and move in date- a week or two before my lease expires. I am clean, organized and easy-going. I don't mind a bevvy and hang out whenever possible. I love a good laugh at each moment, I am aware of the need for space and I also wouldn't mind pets or parties. I currently got into Yoga - which I am very keen on atm, I dance salsa, go to the gym but would love to go a lot more. I am defo one for any form of adventure- always willing to try something new. Ps: My cooking skill is either off the chart or Kitchen Nightmares worthy. Hit me up! And we could start looking for a place to call home together.
Easy to get along with. neat and tidy. Pretty quiet during the week but enjoy to be social on the weekends. Live a very active lifestyle and love going on little adventures. I also own a 4yr old labrador that's house trained and lives outdoors
I’m aiming to move to Newcastle in May, preferably close to the beach and cbd. I work mon-fri in disability support and will be home mainly in the evenings or on wknds if I’m not out and about. Im super easygoing, clean, reliable and respectful of others. I appreciate coming home to a clean house so it’d be nice to have roommates who feel the same and do their part. I do my best to stay active with yoga, jiu jitsu, camping, the beach etc. I enjoy the occasional night out and few wines/beers at home but I can take it or leave it. I’m not interested in a party house, those days are gone, just a nice place to chill with easygoing roommates.
I'm 24 and a muso. I am in 1 wind orchestra an 2 brass bands, all 3 are on percussion but I did a Bachelor of Music on flute/piccolo. I was a private music tutor for about a year at Macquarie College before I wanted a change in careers and completed a Cert III in disability care. Now I'm a casual full time in home carer and am about to start a Bachelor of Social work online. I'm a very cheerful and social person so I'm always gonna be up for a chat. I am also very approachable when it comes to problems so if there is an issue, just tell me straight up so that it can be fixed.
Hey there, I'm Nathan :) I am 25 years old and a small business owner and I also do some consulting for other businesses part time. I have just moved to Sydney from Melbourne and I am looking for a new house to live in with my 2 dogs, Champion (Border Collie) and Sookie (Alusky). Both of my dogs are trained, friendly with others and love to play. Both dogs are quiet, independent and will only bark if an intruder approaches the fence line. These dogs are trained to be OUTSIDE and do not need to come indoors. My small business is a web-based clothing store which is still in it's early day's but I am constantly travelling for events, meet ups and networking and the business is growing. I'm also now consulting with other businesses to build their websites and market their products which is exciting. I do a fair bit of work from home but it's all from my laptop. I also get sent a lot of new products to review and give feedback on, thats always fun :) I am looking for a house with friendly like minded people, enthusiastic about life and pushing to achieve their goals. I'm the kind of person that could have a terrible day but still come home with a positive attitude. I'm looking for positive people that are looking for a bit more than just some random living in your house. I'm a down to earth person, I have opinions but I keep them to myself, I'm an incredibly clean & tidy person as I feel my mind can't work in clutter, I don't drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes but don't mind if you do, I don't eat meat or dairy for dietry reasons but once again don't mind if you do. I am also looking for somewhere potentially for the next 6-12months. I've been travelling back and forth from Sydney to Melbourne over the past couple of months so It would be nice to find a place I can get used to. It would be a bonus if you are friendly with dogs, my dogs are incredibly beautiful and affectionate so they will want to bond with anyone living in the house and most likely pick up on your routines also so you can expect a present (a stick) when you get home haha I'm just an easy human being looking for other easy human beings :) Please feel free to message or call. I'm happy to grab coffee or drop by with the dogs to say hello
Hello, I am Minji from Korea with working holiday visa. I’m enjoying Australia a lot. I am an easy-going person. I like to spend time with people, at the same time being alone sometimes is very important to me. I can hang out with flatmares well respecting their private life. Also I am tidy, so no worries about cleaning ;) Thanks! Have a lovely day.
Hey! I’ve just moved up here from Merimbula on the far south coast and I’m looking for a room to rent and some great housemates. I work mon - fri around 40 hrs with early starts (7am latest) and spend weekends at the beach, in bed watching movies or out on the town on the piss. I’m not looking for a party house however I’d want easy going housemates that wouldn’t mind a few friends over for pre drinks on the odd occasion and wouldn’t mind someone who has mates over themselves. Housemates that would join me for a beer in the arvo would be even better! Early to mid twenties would be ideal. This won’t be my first sharehouse so I’m all familiar with responsibilities included in sharing including cleaning duties and respecting others personal boundaries. I don’t leave dirty dishes laying around and don’t scatter my personal belongings through the house. I haven’t yet achieved making my bed every day but I am very clean and definitely clean up after myself! I’m pretty easy going and flexible on what I want, just looking for other chilled people to live with really :-)
I am a 25yo male and work full time as an engineer, but I love the outdoors and my sports. I play football and like getting to the beach, hiking and camping. I enjoy a bit of cooking and I also like to have a tidy house and room. I'm hoping to move to social and friendly house and make a few mates. Somewhere near the beach would be sick.
Is your home a blissful, amazing sanctuary that lights up your heart? Is the granny flat, converted shed or self-contained something on your property calling for a loving, creative, grounded & balanced being to inhabit it? Hi, I'm Jen. After many years of house sharing I feel a longing to have a space to call my own. However, I believe we are meant to exist in community, so I'd love to share the land & cost of overheads with organically minded, earth conscious & energy conscious people. A snapshot of me: I'm 36 and work in a variety of fields in the Arts, Self-development & Event Management fields. Last year I returned to my home town of Newcastle after over a decade away of job pursuits & I'm happy to be back & closer to friends, family & the beach. I enjoy my work as Studio Manager of an Art Studio in Wallsend, alongside building my own business as a Shamanic Womancrafter, Life Doula, Artist, Healer & Teacher, running women's circles & currently studying the women's mysteries & spiritual practises. I want to be radically honest here about who I am. For some, what I just wrote may seem a bit far out or 'hippy', but I hope for the right people, you'll read between the lines & feel what I'm about. I'm caring, empathetic, motivated, logical & got my feet firmly on the ground! Apart from all the usual 'fully house trained' stuff (even considered a bit of a handy-woman & come with tools to help with odd jobs & repairs around the house), I come with a fur child. Elkie is my 14yr old, female tabby cat. She's super chilled, doesn't wander very far, spends most of her time sleeping on my bed & loves a good chat. My wish list - We're longing for a self-contained space that is quiet & safe - Window & doors screened for mozzie protection - Separate bedroom to the living space would be ideal - Loads of natural light & air flow - Grass, tree's & nature are my daily medicine, so some greenery would be amazing - Bath & air con are luxury items I would thank the stars for! - Space for my art studio/office set up - Storage for my camping stuff, bits & pieces - Kitchen I can create in - No more than a 30min drive from Wallsend would be preferred & close to a water source would be magic! - Unfurnished, as I have everything. There are so many different types of properties, homes, families & living arrangements out there, so if any of this has kept you reading so far & you've got something that might suit, I'd love to hear from you. I know the perfect sanctuary exists! I look forward to meeting you.
