Hello potential housemates After living in sunny Cairns I'm looking to live in Brissy. Big city life is calling! I work full time in digital marketing / social media and travel a fair bit. I love to cook and I clean up after myself too which is a bonus. Totally known for my Thai food. I'm looking for somewhere to live that ideally has - has aircon - modern look / furniture - easy going environment - similar age group - views of the city would be a bonus - a space for my small car. Sometimes I'm away for up to two weeks at a time for work and needs somewhere safe. Moving date is flexible. I'm staying on the coast until I find somewhere I had sorted somewhere but it's fallen through so please only reach out if you know that the other person is 100% moving out. Also - I have a lot of clothes....it comes with my work so would love a decent wardrobe or storage.
My name is Alex, I'm 23 and I from Barcelona (Spain). I'm very cheerful person and responsable. I'm going to study english and work half time. I'm looking for a furnished private room in Brisbane and I would like to share a lot of experiences with my flatmates.
I am fun and outgoing, I love to cook and am a clean and tidy person. I have completed a degree last year in music and am still looking for full-time work though I work casually. My kids live with their mum and I can visit them there if needed. I have a lot of catch up work to do post uni, so my own space to retreat will be valuable. Good with house chores and responsibilities and looking to move fairly soon.
Story of my life: Works full time in southbank crazy odd hours alternating between opening and closing throughout the week so looking for a relaxed environment to hopefully call home after a long working day or night. Love ending the week with a few cold ones or a bottle or two with great company. Netflix like crazy, listen to music way too much, very clean and would like to hope to bring my own little touch along with me that's about it. P.s only looking for somewhere that is walking distance to and from Southbank thanks
Hi, I am 31 and originally from Scotland. Looking for a room for me and my 4 year old dog. I am clean, tidy and respectful and all the usual things and pretty laid back. Looking for a friendly and social house but definately not a party house. Ideally i would like to share with people around my own age. I work full time in promotions and events so I am kept pretty busy. Luna is a border collie x staffy x cattle and is well behaved. She sleeps inside but is happy to be outside during the day. I am looking to move next week (starting the 21st) but I am flexible. I Thanks 😊
I'm Lucrezia, optometrist from Florence, Italy. I'm gonna move to Brisbane for study and work both (student visa has been approved). I've already lived alone and away from my family so I'm able to manage myself and all the house works, to respect other people's needs. I'm easygoing, I love all the simple thongs about life: music, I play acoustic guitar - so I hope you'll enjoy music too :) - I love sport, I'm used to go run, healthy food, basically I cook vegetarian - I'm wine addicted (I'm Italian, right?) specially shared with friends. I'm looking for an easy-living place with nice and funny people. I will arrive to Brisbane on the 29th August. I'm looking for a nice, simple room, Kangaroo point and close neighbor are preferred (I'm gonna study to Shafston College and I don't have a car, or bike, also public transports are pretty expensive for an everyday use!) Let's keep in touch on Whatsapp or FB please.
Easy going. Working 5 days a week so away from home most of the time. Would like to live in a fairly clean house with non smokers. No pets and easy going flatmates please. An off street parking and ensuite rooms are necessary.
Hi, we are Lachy & Amelia ! We are a young couple who enjoy our peace and quiet and are easy going and down to earth. We both love music, movies, writing and having fun. We are looking for a new room to rent and would love to be your new housemates :)
A clean, quiet, polite and friendly guy from china. I am an easy going person. now I’m doing language and next year i will doing my master in Uq . i have classes 1pm to 530 pm from Monday to Friday so I would spend most of time in school Generally up early, go to bed early so would prefer somewhere relatively quiet (within reason) or share with similar people.
I am a Happy Healthy Hippy chick originally from central NSW. Im vegan and health-conscious but not a Nazi about anyone elses diet (You do you, boo). About to commence my clinical counselling placement with an amazing organisation in Stones corner. So I guess somewhere relaxed and quiet-ish and even in that area would be great. I am a member of the LGBTI community and would ideally like to live with the same or people who are supportive and ok with who I am. Also currently completing my postgrad in Psychology. About to start my clinical placement. So a quiet place would be ideal. I am a reliable, tidy, outgoing and positive peep. my "partying" days are extinct but still head out now and again. Did i mention I bake on the weekends??? As mentioned, I am also a member of the LGBTI rainbow ... so you will need to be respectful and open to that. Cant wait to chat! Ps i am ideally looking for a room with an ensuite or my own bathroom but am aware thats not always possible ... my weekly budget is also bills inclusive and can be upsized if something is amazing. Please no dodgy boarding houses masquerading as share places ... and please no 3 am messages. pps i am also not comfortable with living with couples, single straight males, or a shared room ... I guess i wouldnt want to be a total third wheel. Sorry ! Ditto with random SMS from people telling me about their room or ppl contacting me with hevily overpriced rooms. Im not really looking to subsidize your rent and its so unethical to position yourself that way. i guess if im interested i will get in contact. thanks! I also dont post my face online as I often attract creepy weirdos ... Sad right?
hi- QUT student, Photography, Music, Beaches, Fun (and study) I'm Jade half Brazilian half German but London raised. I'm pretty into travelling, photography (analog, pinhole) and music: electronic, jazz, blues, afrobeat etc. Also all things beach and water related and would really love to find a potential travel buddy to go explore all that Brisbane has to offer as i came here alone !! Studying business/photography at QUT. Basically just looking for chill, open minded, nice humans with whom to share a house with. I am fun to live with yes (but also organised i promise). Mutual respect is always very important to me and as long as is it to you too i am sure we will live harmoniously together.
I'm 35 but younger looking and open=mind man with a sense of humor, sporty, friendly, tidy guy. I'm studying English and working par-time in Brisbane now and will continue mine studies at a college. I enjoy music, dance, cycling, having chat with friends, hanging out with friends, Capoeira and cooking. I'm looking for a long-term stay 1 year and longer, minimum 6 month.
Hey guys, 20 years young & full of energy! I am a very approachable person, respectful of people & their belongings, also love interaction! I can either be very sociable or antisocial, really depends on the person... very hygienic & a little OCD so you can garuntee things will be tidy! Umm, I'm in urgent need of a place as plans have changed due to my housemate moving (owner of the place I'm staying at) so I need to be out this weekend 😱 Look forward to meeting you.
Hi there I'm from Zürich Switzerland, very easy-going mechanical engineering student specializing in robotics and looking for a place to stay while I work on my master's thesis at CSIRO Pullenvale. I enjoy the shared accommodation style of life, have shared flats with friends and fellow students for seven years. After living in Norway for one year as a high school student, I'm now looking for a place to extend my cultural horizon and get to know a new way of living on a different continent. I like to live with active people who enjoy cooking, eating and generally spending time as a group of friends. It seems that my interest in snow sports and enduro/down hill biking will be difficult to satisfy around Brisbane, so I'll have to find new activities to try when I'm there. Guess I should give surfing another go and extend on my kite surfing crash course. I'm interested in anything technical and like to tinker with stuff when time permits.
Hey peeps, ** Looking for team up only ** I'm looking to team up as I have a whole house full of furniture. I would love a cool person to live with. I will require the car space and not fussed on an ensuite, so it's all yours or am open to getting a place with 2 car spaces. A little about moi, - outgoing and like a good laugh - Clean and tidy - Has all the things for a home - Can cook amazing roasts and scrambled eggs. - Loves cheese - Can be easily persuaded to drink wine on a school night 😉 (absolutely not a party animal and not looking to live with one) - respectful of others space - loves the gym and eating pretty healthy during the week, apart from nights we eat cheese and drink amazing red/white wine
I'm a 21 year old hard working professional. I'm clean and tidy and often keep to myself. I love some banter and a cheeky wine every now and then and can be great company. I currently live on the Gold Coast but am looking for work in Brisbane to broaden my professional development. I currently work for the Government and am extremely trustworthy.
