Hi, I am looking for a place to live. I work full time though the week as an engineer and like to relax and take it easy on the weekends/evenings. I am easy going, tidy and a non smoker. I am happy to share cups of tea, meals and chats, while respecting each others privacy. I'm also happy to chip in with the house work. Please feel free to send me a message if you would like to know more. Thanks Zhenya
Easygoing, chilled and friendly chick. Work, gym and chill during the week and socialise, adventure and beach days on weekends. Love meeting new people, making friends and having a chat but also totally respectful of everyone's space. Ideally looking for 2 bed and 2 bath to share with someone close to city/valley. Have bedroom furniture only so would possibly need to look for furnished place. Open to other options.
Hello future housemate/s! Pleased to meet you! Come in, sit down and let me introduce you to both myself and Mr Domino. We are soon to be refugees as I have just sold my house on the Gold Coast and we're in limbo until I find the perfect new abode to purchase in either Brisbane or Gold Coast (this must be what it's like for women searching for the perfect pair of shoes - you now have my empathy). Facts about me: - 58% Introvert, 40% Extrovert and 2% Alien. - Fluent Sarcasm is my native tongue, being serious is being boring. - Thrive on daily barbaric and crude banter, if you're not laughing, you may as well be dead. - Often referred to as living like a gypsy in a hospital, few belongings and excessively clean. I all but own shares in Aldi surface wipes and IKEA lint-rollers. - Will avoid pubs, nightclubs, etc. like the plague, there's more to life than being inebriated. - Posess a large collection of colognes. Will not leave the bedroom without smelling like David Jones' cosmetics section. - Partial to flipping pages, not channels. Quite fond of documentaries and thought-provoking movies. - Afficianado of picking weights up and putting them back down on a daily basis - foregoing the ego. FAQ's So, Zeph, what do you do with your time? - Having worked in the coal mines for years, I'm now two years into a well-deserved sabbatical. Zeph, what do you like to do for fun? - Waking up each day with a clean slate is pretty fun - highly recommend it. Quite spontaneous in my demeanour, I will find joy in an array of things. Whether it's falling out of a perfectly good plane or reading self-improvement books whilst I apricate on the beach - I'm happy. Facts about Domino: - THE most awesome, placid and sweet natured dog there is - try not to steal him upon meeting him, I challenge you. - Will pull some impressive tricks, especially if the instructing human is offering an irresistible treat, or is an attractive female (my fault, he copied me). - Can play soccer better than any soccer team in the Southern Hemisphere (I can prove it). - Has an IQ that's higher than most humans I've encountered, never misses a trick. - Loves cuddles and lots of affection, I may be the softest Border Collie owner you'll ever meet. He has never been smacked/hit/abused in his life and it will remain that way. - Has barked a grand total of six times in his life, not sure why he even has a voice box. I secretly think he's a cat disguised as a dog. So, I am looking to rent a room, studio, part of a house, a tent, kitchen cupboard, a spare nook or cranny - so long as I can bring my toilet trained, heartthrob, handsome Domino with me. I am open to living anywhere south of Surfers Paradise or pretty much anywhere in Brisbane - send me a message if you think we tick the boxes for you, I'm flexible. With any luck, you're still awake after reading all of that. If so, thank you for your time!
Hi I'm Ashlee and I am 21 years old and study Health Science at UQ :). I love animals (especially cats) and healthy living. I also work part-time. I like a balance of being social and studying. If I am unable to find someone to move into my existing share-house by early November, I will be seeking to move into another existing share house. Message me :). If you are currently trying to find a place to move into by late November, let me know! Rent is $150/ week, internet is an extra $30/ month. The unit is located in Red Hill :). ** I WILL NEED TO GIVE 4 WEEKS NOTICE TO MY CURRENT FLATMATES BEFORE I CAN MOVE OUT ** Hi Everyone! My name is Ashley and I am looking for a room in share house or to take on a house with someone :) I work full time in Morningside, I am a receptionist at a dry ingredient blending/protein company - Yes I have the protein hook ups ;) hah I work 7:30am - 4pm so I will not be home during these hours. In the weekend I alternate between my house and my partners house (male, 23) so the odd weekend I will have my partner over. I smoke occasionally but am in the process of giving up and I am a social drinker but I don't drink much. I'm friendly, respectable and clean. I enjoy my own space but I am not a snob. I currently do not have a car so I need to be near some type of public transport. If the house/room is great then I can compromise as I do get picked up & dropped off for work. In regards to furniture I only have my own bedroom furniture but am happy to go halves, or whatever with furniture. If you would like to know more feel free to get message me. Thank you, Ashley
Me and my partner are looking for a room to rent for 2 months until the end of January. We're currently living in an apartment in Bowen hills however our lease runs out on the 23rd of November, we're both working full time in the city and are looking at staying in Brisbane until the end of January. We're an easy going couple who enjoy cooking a good meal and having a glass of wine, however we both work long hours so don't have a huge amount of time to socialise. Please feel free to message me with anything you think may suit us. Thank you.
Clean & tidy. Easy going. Secure monthly income. Love a chat(at same time respectful of people's space), a drink or 2, cooking, keeping fit. Can operate a lawn mower and a vacuum cleaner. Pay my bills on time and rent 4wks in advance. Have a beautiful 7yr old female Kelpie-Jess, who's personality is quite infectious. Not too much phases or surprises us.
easy going, full time professional.... working full time and studying, so keep fairly quiet... clean and tidy and respectful of others
Easy going girl looking for a room in a share apartment or house (north side of the city, close to Albion, as this is where I work). I am an outgoing and positive girl. I come from Italy and have been in Australia for 3 years, and have been working full time in a marketing company for the last two years. I enjoy cooking and I am very sociable. I enjoy a few drinks now and then, but as I am working full time I don't consider myself a party girl at all. Would like to move in with like minded people, with a similar lifestyle as myself. Available to move in immediately.
Hey! I'm a 20 year old Canadian who's coming on exchange to UQ in February! I'm super excited for this opportunity. When I'm not studying I'll definitely be learning how to surf, snorkeling, and staying active! I'm a christian and would also love to get involved in a church in the area. I look forward to arriving in Brissy :)
Hi there, I'm a full time professional in my mid 20's. Looking for a place at the end of November/start of December with a secure parking spot. I'm clean and sociable but not home much during the week with work, gym and netball. I have all of my own bedroom furniture so just looking for a room. Thanks, Rachel
Hi :) We are an easy going couple looking to share a home with like minded professional(s) working full time. We are in early 30's, have a great attitude towards life and we lead active lifestyles in way of having the balance of work, socialising, keeping fit and having fun. We have furniture to fit out a house but a flexible when finding the right place. If you would like to know any more feel free to shoot us a msg or feel free to give me a call. Damien & Aggie
I am extremely tidy, considerate of other flatmates and I pay my bills on time. I work full time and spend most evenings and weekends at the gym or at the dog park with my pup. Looking for a nice house close to the city or teaming up with others.
Hey! My name is Sebastian and I recently graduated from an undergrad degree which I was doing on the Gold Coast. I will be back in Australia on the first week of February for my masters coursework and I am looking for a room or a teamup for a new property in Brisbane. Will probably be working part-time as well. I love have people around me to do activities with, but also enjoy having my private space to relax so as a roommate I would be up for house meals and trips as well as just relaxing home. I love being outdoors, specially on the beach and in the water. If not you will find me playing volleyball! I'm clean and will look after myself and the place as well. I have no problem getting along with people, enjoy talking to anyone. Let me know if you have a place I could take up in your property or if you would like to start a teamup!
I'm clean, respectful, financially stable, social and organised. I like to keep things tidy and well presented so I can feel comfortable and relaxed in the space I am living. I work full time in Spring Hill as a Senior Property Valuer. I like to cook, make music and make coffee. I will be heading back to the Sunshine Coast every second weekend to see friends and family and to play golf so I wont be home all the time. I would love to meet you!

I work full time in the city as a lawyer and am looking for a place in the New Farm/ Teneriffe area - ideally somewhere close to public transport and good cafes. A bathtub is a must for my new place, as is a covered car space. I like home to be a place to recharge and relax and would love to live with someone like-minded. I keep to myself a bit during the week but enjoy a cider and a chat on weekends. I'm looking to move in January 2017 (when my current lease expires). Feel free to get in touch if you have a suitable place or if you'd like to find a place with me!

Hi, I'm Stacey, 23 and working full-time in the city. I am pretty quiet to live with and will mostly keep to myself. Looking for something closer to the city. Need to be close to public transport - a train station. I don't have any pets, don't smoke and go out if I want to party. Not in a hurry to find something but flexible with timing. Ideally looking for own bathroom and a smaller number of roommates. If there is anything you want to know, please don't hesitate to contact me.
I am very friendly but not noisy. Love small dogs although I don't own any pets. I love to cook, relax with some wine and discover new cafes. Very easy going and VERY clean. I am looking to lease a place in February 2017.
Down to earth professional who travels down to the Gold Coast every weekend. Looking for a furnished room, preferably with own ensuite though this is not be all end all. At least have off-street parking available. Look forward to hearing from you. Kind Regards Paul
Starting a 6 month contract job in Brisbane CBD on monday, very easy going and not a noisy person, always keep tidy and respect any rules that are set. Cheers. Not looking for share house or shared bathroom.
Just relocated from Melbourne, looking for a chilled out house that enjoys socialising with each other but also understands personal space! I work 9-6 Mon - Fri in the CBD and am trying to get back into my fitness!
What I'm looking for: A room within a sharehouse with 1 other person, with my own private bathroom. It will be a fairly quiet, clean place that respects my privacy and sleep. The accommodation needs to be near transport that can easily access Westfield Carindale (either walkable distance, or has a direct bus). Cleaning up after yourself is a must-have trait. Bit about me: Female, early 30's, clean, tidy, and quiet. I work full-time (in graphic design and beauty industries); I work Saturday and Sunday during the day (my weekend is midweek Wednesday and Thursday) so you'd have the place to yourself during weekend days. I'm very considerate and respectful of others privacy. I'm friendly and social, but I do like a lot of my own space and privacy. I enjoy gardening, and have some herbs and tomato plants, enjoy daily exercise, along with drawing and playing guitar.
Friendly, Clean and organized. I have one adorable male cat, so needing a pet friendly place. Currently working in health & beauty retail. Healthy lifestyle. Like to go to gym, and find new spots to enjoy a good coffee. Currently enjoying exploring Brisbane and the Coast! I have relocated to Brisbane around three months ago and looking for a female to live with. Looking for city surrounding suburbs such as Newstead, Valley, Tenneriffe, Newfarm, Hamilton, Albion in particular. Open to other city surrounding suburbs :)
Hey! I'm Loredana a 26 years old Italian girl who's working here in Brisbane to save some money! I'm sharing the room with two more girls at the moment but I'm looking for a single bedroom from the 14th of November.
Hi There. If you are looking for some extra cash in the New Year for a spare room, but still want the flexibility to have the room available for friends and family at the weekend then be great to connect. I'm a professional living on the Sunshine Coast and looking for simple accommodation mid-week only. I typically stay in Brisbane 2 or 3 nights a week and the days can vary. I tend to work long hours when staying in Brisbane. Where I had similar arrangements in the past staying with a lady in Nundah, I was paying $32.50 per night. I completed my first marathon last month and am keen to improve on my time so, apart from time with my family, going for runs is my main thing outside of work. Thanks Haig
Half British half French I'm very open (British side) and I'm a great cook (French side)!
Super adaptive to most situations - As I work full time as an accountant, and study on the side - plus am pretty social with others, I may not always be at home a lot. But while I can be quiet and do my own thing, I also have a loud and obnoxious side. In essence, I'm pretty carefree, and would like to move in with those that are similarly carefree. Don't get me wrong, I'll respect set boundaries of privacy and cleanliness, but I definitely don't want to tip toe around my roommate and I'd like a roommate who can be comfortable enough to not tip toe around me.
What makes us great to live with?! We both love wine! Actually, we're reasonably clean (not a clean freak though), work a lot and in general awesome company. Aaron's a Student. And I run a small web dev company in the Valley! We're both pretty fun guys, keep to ourselves, and to all reasonable extent... normal (with the exception that I like maths, which isn't *that* normal)
Im 19 and will be attending uni later next year as well as juggling a job so ill be pretty tired and anti social during the week however the little party girl thats within might come out every now and again during the weekends / uni breaks. I am very relaxed, respectable, clean and always down for a wine/ beer.
Hello, everyone! I am a 32 years old Brazilian studying International Trade and currently working at a Mantra hotel. I am preferably looking for a private room with easy access to the city, as I study on Adelaide St. I am a very quiet and tidy person, that likes to cook my own meals, listen to music and read. :) Please, be in touch if you think you can help me. Thanks!
I'm a 29 year old engineering professional with a passion for fitness and the outdoors. I'm usually not home much on weekdays, as I work long hours then go to the gym. On weekends I like to relax and socialize, or maybe get out of the city. I prefer a clean modern and simple house. Must have off street parking
Ronan and I are easy going and friendly people. We enjoy other peoples company however are also happy to keep to ourselves. We are both full time uni students. We have lived in Brisbane for the past 2 years but sometimes spend our weekends in Tweed Heads, NSW. In our spare time, we like to hang out, visit dog parks and go to the beach. We are looking for a room mate/s to move into a new house with us. We own our own furniture including a lounge, TV, washing machine, fridge and dining table so you will only need your bedroom furniture!
Hi there, I'm currently studying fashion design at TAFE until the start of December than ill be hopefully going onto study my degree early February. My hobbies and interest include things like figure skating, drawing, reading. I'm looking for a place to move to around January in the Brisbane area. Place must include all bills, including Internet due to youth allowance budget. Must be close to public transport (bus stop to town, train or even close walk to town/city) I prefer a 1 bedroom flat/ grannyflat. I also have a partner who comes to visit most weekends.
Hi potential housies, Im a 27 yo female with an extremely intelligent, well trained, socialised, neutered and vaccinated 5.5 yo kelpie (Onyx). I've just relocated to Brisbane and I'm basically looking for a relaxed, clean and respectful sharehouse near the city. I'm not employed at the moment but I have been saving up for the move and can pay bond and rent months in advance if necessary. I can also provide rental history with glowing landlord references for both me and Onyx. I have a Bachelor of Science and a wealth of experience in hospitality and events management so I'm on the mission to get a job asap. Onyx and I have lived in many, many share houses and we are very well versed in house contribution, cleanliness, responsibilities and etiquette. I’m a non-invasive, non-smoking, self-cleaning, sober, health-driven, environmentally conscious, conversationally minded, early riser with a strong immunity to boredom, a need for compassionate empathetic individuals who value honesty and privacy and I have a massive dislike of ego's. Onyx is well travelled, with experience as a caravan park dog, a yacht dog, a hitchhiking dog, a hostel dog and a campervan dog. He's also worked in schools and nursing homes as a Emotional Support Animal and has been a staple feature of many festival work sites and circus/carnival travel routes. He’s a little legend, who pretty much goes wherever I go. Thanks for taking the time to read this :) I''m flexible on suburbs, don't get caught on the ones I've listed. If there's anything I missed, let me know!
Clean and tidy, I have a clean as you go mentality. When sharing you need to be respectful of others. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates, and hope to find a place where you're not just people I share a house with but friends I share a home with. I do however spend a bit of time in my room and keep to myself so I'm not going to be in your face but happy to do dinners together (I can't cook, be prepared to eat raw unflavoured food, I apologise in advance) or casual drinks at home on the weekend. I'm a first year, first sem accounting student at QUT. I also have a border collie puppy so we need a pet friendly share house with a large fenced backyard (preferably tall fencing, as I think she's going to be an escape artist). Mia is currently 3 months old, she's a clever little monkey and wins everyone's hearts. It would actually be fantastic if there was another dog to share with too. A bit more about me... I'm Irish Filipino, grew up in PNG but have been in Brisbane for 18 years so technically I really grew up here! I go to the gym several times a week, I have been recovering from a few injuries lately so it's kept me at home. I'm the type of person that will push myself at the gym but later go home and eat an entire pizza.. I have no will power. If you eat clean, please show me your ways lol I'm single...I don't want to live with couples or single 40+year old men, nor families. Just like-minded people my age that are dog friendly would be amazing :)
Hi, I’m looking for a room in December – Early Jan I have an adopted cat Luna, who is really sweet and well behaved but indoors only I’m very clean and tidy, and would prefer a place that is well looked after, with roommates that are clean I’d live between my cottage on my dad’s property out west and Brisbane (work in the city) so basically looking for a room where I can have Luna with me and where I can go between both homes, but the majority would be in Brisvegas Overall, I’d say I’m really easy going, clean, respectful, friendly, prefer a fair bit of quiet time esp during the week but also down for a chat and glass of wine or beer or vodka haha You definitely won’t have any issues with me, and if you are clean and don’t use the place as a party house then you’d be perfect for me too! Let me know if there's anything else I need to know! Or if you have anything available, or want to team up for a property Cheers, Em
Extremely clean and tidy professional Engineer moving to Brisbane due to starting a new role. My new role includes international travel so there will be periods where I won't be there. I'm from the Sunshine Coast and enjoy an active lifestyle. I'm a quiet person but also enjoy social drinks.
Currently living with a couple of girls in Morningside, but the girl that owns the house wants to move overseas. I love riding motorbikes and staying fit. I love cooking and socialising, but often crave a day to sit on the couch and do nothing. I'm in sales for construction and travel away sometimes for work to the other capital cities. Overall, I'm not stressed by much and am pretty upfront.
Hey everyone, I'm looking at moving to Brisbane in a couple weeks from Ayr. I have just left my job in childcare, for a new start and new adventures in Brisbane. I haven't found a job in Brisbane yet but am currently looking for bar, cafe, nanny or Childcare work. I also do a bit of part time modelling for Tamblyns. I am easy going, open minded, friendly, clean, respectful and love to make the most of my weekends. I enjoy my own space but am interested in meeting new people and new adventures. Also love any chance I get to head to the beach.
I am thinking of moving to Brisbane and looking at places in the New Farm, Newstead and Teneriffe area around $250/week. I thought it would be good to move in with someone else though - so looking at places for $500/week and I definitely need a car park. A little bit about me I am extremely courteous and respectful of other space but I would like to move in with someone who wants to be friends and hang out (but definitely love my own space as well) mainly because I have been in not fun house situations I'm from the Gold Coast and work casually at the moment but fill my free time with fun random hobbies I love anything creative, nail art is my new fun love I'm not a big partier or drinker but do like a night out dancing Love going out for food though... priorities hehe A little OCD, so I will be a hygienic and neat room mate Fitness and health is important to me (even though I love food so much and baking), I am currently completing a Barre teacher certification xx Kati
