~ Sydney uni student starting an internship in Newcastle ~ I'm a uni student from Sydney moving to Newcastle for 6 months for an engineering internship. I'm from up the coast originally. For the last 4 years, I've been living in sharehouses and student accommodation in Sydney... meaning I'm well-versed in the art of: flatmate banter/holding on whilst the bathroom's in use/tetris to maximise fridge space/cleaning up after myself, and related skills :P Bit of a cliché, but I'm very easy-going and friendly. Looking for a place with decent people, possibly also young/students, with whom I can get along with. I generally cook for moi, motivated by my affinity for carbs and faint past as a stingy 1st yr student. Nevertheless, I don't shy from a chat/chill/chai with roomies. I like hanging out with friends, I go for a run here and there, and like listening to music (dw, no blasting out loud). I'll be working Mon-Fri, and chilling out some of the other time. I'm pretty clean. Never lived in Newcastle, but I'm looking forward to it! Go the Knights!
A 20 Indonesian-Chinese business student in UON new campus (NeW Space). Currently finding place to stay during my semester year (strictly all females flatmates). Am an organized person and prefer cleanliness in the house.
Hi there, I'm looking for somewhere to rent for me and my 6yo staffy, Billy. A little bit about me first- I'm a full time retail store manager, love relaxing in my down time by heading to the beach or enjoying a glass of wine with friends. Billy- he's been an inside dog for the past 6 years, he's pretty chilled out, loves sleeping, going for walks and hanging out with other dogs. I have collected a bit of furniture (inc fridge, washing machine) as I've been living out of home since I was 17 so I'd be great to start a new rental with! Also got great rental references too.
I'm easy going, clean, well mannered & spend all my spare time either cleaning my ute, bodyboarding or taking photos (surf photography) I work shift work in the mines near singleton day & night shift with a 2 weekends on 2 weekends off rotating roster with normally 4 days off in between. I'm currently living in heddon Greta in my own rental but I spend all my days off in newy so why not live there? If I find somewhere to live I'll need to give my real estate 2 weeks notice, but I'm happy to pay the bond to secure a room 😊
Hi, I'm a 26 yr old female, part-time student of Social Science, musician and work part-time. Looking for a homely place that's not a party house but also with sociable people. I come with a sweet record collection :)
Defiantly love a few beers over my days off but super. It's during my working week! 60+ hrs so bills and rent never a problem. I'm Very opened minded and love to socialise but I do enjoy my quite time a lot! I do have 2 dogs but I can arrange other options for them!
I'm a 23yo recent engineering graduate moving to Newcastle for work from Sydney. I like being busy, I'll be working full time I will no doubt be at the gym in the afternoon. Other than that I'm pretty social person and will pretty much talk to anyone, real chatter. Love going out meeting new people, dinner, drinks, coffee, whatever. Also love pets and being active, getting outdoors. Looking for a place with a lock up garage.
Our names are Emily and Jaymie and we're looking for housemates! We're 21 & 19 and are both in our second year of primary teaching at uon and also both work casually. We're both happy to pay around $160pw but can be a little flexible on the price. We're both very social/active people that love hanging out with friends and are looking for like-minded housemates! Send us a message if that sounds like you!
Hi there, My name is Dylan. I'm 32, non smoker, I don't have any kids or pets. I would describe myself as more of the quiet social type. I'm clean, considerate and respectful. Looking to share as I've just recently moved back to nsw for work, currently working 6 days a week as an electrician. If you would like to know more feel free to ask. Thanks. Dylan
Fulltime worker. Reliable. Respectful of others. Positive and outgoing. Healthy lifestyle. No drugs or parties. Outdoors lover. Clean and tidy. Single with a closeknit of quality friends. My ideal housemates would have similar values, love food and maybe a glass of wine, for when we catch up. If it's great weather, I'm generally out roadtripping with my dog. If it's raining, I'm keen to curl up with a book and a cuppa. Every other time, I'm at work or sleeping. Looking for a home closer to town and one or two female housemates. I have a big beautiful old dog who is an outside, well mannered girl. Dry area in yard is a must as our current home retains a lot of moisture in the backyard and it is starting to give my girl skin irritations. I'm adamant about keeping tidy after her, so please don't worry about that. I'm flexible on budget if the home has lots to offer. I would love to find somewhere that can be for at least 6 months and hopefully more. Move dates are also flexible and can easily be moved to suit.
We're a couple from around Gloucester/ Forster area, we're both currently studying full time at the university of newcastle and looking for a new place before the start of second semester. Mason is an all round top bloke, He studies civil engineering and surveying and can pull off a mullet and a moe pretty well. He's pretty great to live with because can hold a friendly conversation but won't be in your face at all. He likes playing the Xbox and drink of choice would be a ice cold schooner of tooheys new. Jasmin is alright herself, she's studying writing at the uni and is a bit of a creative sort. Loves live music, bushwalking and reading. Pretty good to live with as she can talk about pretty much anything and is always there for a chat if needed. Drink of choice would be a double shot tequila sunrise when she's feeling loaded but lets be real, usually you'll catch her with a bottle of harddys charddy. We're both pretty good at keeping to ourselves or having a cheeky chat in the kitchen, whichever you prefer. We're both clean, tidy and love a good netflix binge. We've listed ourselves as looking for a place near the city but are open to suburbs close to the uni. We both have a stable income rolling in and the 280$ a week is our maximum rent SPLIT not each.
I am a thirty-year-old professional about to relocate from Adelaide to Newcastle for a new job. I would describe myself as being friendly, easy going, neat and tidy. I am considerate of privacy and respectful of others. My health and fitness is important to me; I am a non-smoker and a vegan. I enjoy walking and a bit of yoga. As a musician, I enjoy playing acoustic guitar in my spare time. I love the ocean, so spending some time at the beach is high on my list of things to do. Looking forward to finding a share housing with likeminded, friendly and easy going house mates to enjoy beautiful Newcastle with. Cheers! :)
Loves || Dogs, the ocean, coffee, red wine, photography and walking anywhere and everywhere. Traits || Friendly, caring, tidy. Leaving Yamba to study/persue a degree in nursing. I've got family here in Newcastle so I know a little bit and have spent maybe a month every year for the past 4 years or so.
Hey! :) I'm a clean, friendly person looking for a social household, but I also enjoy my own down time. I'm a uni student studying Primary Teaching and am in my third year. I enjoy playing sports such as basketball and am always up for drinks or movie nights.
I am friendly and social guy, work full time as a project coordinator (Mon-Fri) and Marriage Celebrant on weekends! I am pretty busy! Love to have a few beverages now and then.
Hey! I have a part time job, no official rental history, but have been paying board for the last year. Looking for people to team up with. I'm real easy going, social but also respect others space. I've got everything to furnish a place, just need some people to share with. Hope to hear from you!
Quiet, pay rent on time, not a party person, caring, loves animals. I am into art painting which requires me a bit of space to relax with my brushes. Looking for a private room, with inbuilt, I own my KS bed. I'm looking in Parramatta as I am familiar with the area on the side of Church Street, close to the railway station. Also I am looking the Newcastle suburbs on the Pacific Highway going towards Swansea an area I need to travel by the 350 bus early mornings. My budget is strict to $160 including all bills and wifi.
Hi im Aaron, I'm looking to team up with one or Two people and share a house in the Cooks Hill/ The Hill area. Preferably a girl (Need a break from living with guys). About me: Im 24 I have a 3yo toy poodle I work as a coal miner and will be studying over the next 12 months. I own a house so i know what it is like to be respectful to a household, also have shared houses before and i show respect for other peoples privacy. I enjoy Yoga, being active, having drinks with friends on the weekend and eating out. In no way do i want a party house, but saying that i don't mind casual drinks and a cheese platters etc at home. I also have a full house of furniture so the only thing needed by yourself to bring is your Bedroom Furniture. If you do have other stuff you would like to bring i can be flexible and move mine elsewhere.
I'm needing to move for my uni prac (finished up in Armidale and ready to move now) My prac starts in July but I'm wanting to be settled in somewhere way before that. I'm not a typical party student but I do love going out for dinner/drinks plus just chilling around the house. I absolutely love baking and I do make some mean brownies, banana bread and a quality lemon meringue pie!! I'm super respectful of privacy but also up for a chat and adventures! I've been out of home for 4 years so I know how to keep a tidy house, clean and look after myself. So I'm looking for a room with the budget of $150-60 which includes bills or around $110-30 which just covers rent.

I am super fresh to Newcastle and am working two Hospitality jobs whilst looking for full time work in journalism/media.
