Hello! My names Eamon (19), I'm from the Central Coast and am moving to Newcastle to be closer to UON. I can have fun and love to socialise and make new friends but I'm also respectful of other people (I won't throw parties without asking other housemates). I'm neat and tidy and respectful of other people's belongings. I would like a place where all the roommates are friends and get along well as its where we will spend most of our time. I'm also looking at whole houses to rent so if anyone wants to teamup I have a few places I'm looking at near the uni saved.
Working full time, will be based in Newcastle for a total of 5 months (20 weeks) from mid April to early September, looking for a room in a quiet house (ideally no parties/pets/smokers). Will be away most weekends
Hello. I am a 40 yo Community Worker, moving to Newcastle from the Mid North Coast for work. I am a quiet and tidy housemate. I'm happy to socialise with you but am also able to give you your own space. In my spare time I like to see live shows and art exhibitions. I'm also a keen bush walker.
Hi! My name is Hannah and I am currently studying music, going into my third year now! I am a social and friendly person who doesn't mind a few social drinks, but also really enjoy my quiet time. I like watching tv shows, hanging with friends and going for walks with my dog. I am looking for a teamup to start a new share house as my current one is coming to an end. I've been looking and applying for houses in the last month or so. The only other thing is that I have a little rescue doggie, her name is Lyla! She's the cutest little thing, so you must love dogs! If you think we would be a good match please send me a message and we can look at houses together!
Hello! We are very tidy and clean housemates who respect personal space, but are also very friendly and enjoy having a chat or just chilling out together. Ashleigh is a uni student and is in her third year of a Bachelor of Arts, and Blake is very handy with jobs around the house and technology, and is currently looking for work. We like to keep to ourselves most of the time, but if you're a fan of boardgames, movie nights or late night trips to Yogurtland, then we will get along great too :D We keep shared living areas very clean and tidy, are considerate with our noise levels and would keep our housemates up to date if we would like to have friends or family over. We love animals, and wouldn't mind feeding or walking them for you. We enjoy sharing weekend beverages, trips to the beach and finding places to eat delicious food! We are also both very tall, so we can help clean high spots or get things down for you :P Please feel free to contact us if you'd like to know more or to meet up. We look forward to hearing from you! :)
Hi! I'm from Amsterdam, The Netherlands and I will be doing my internship in Newcastle for 6 months, therefore I'm looking for a cosy house with social flatmates. I might need to be a bit serious during weekdays but in the weekend I would love to go to the beach/to bbq/to meeting new people/to party/club/bar/jogging/swimming/sipping wine/cocktails...
Hi! My name is Kim, I'm 28 and work as a Beauty/Laser Therapist. I'm looking for one or two people around the same age as me to rent a house. I'm a 2 for 1 deal as I own a dog - a 20kg groodle named Sunny. She's well behaved and has heaps of energy. I'd prefer to live with someone who doesn't have any pets - we've lived with two other dogs at one stage and it was overwhelming - I'm no Caesar Milan that's for sure. Cats are definately a no-go because Sunny loses her mind over them. I'm very clean and tidy, respectful of other's space and super friendly. Love having a laugh, make a mean cheese platter, love a glass of red and I'm always down for a chat. I like to entertain every now and again or get dressed up to go to a bar. I am by no means a party animal (I'm saving to buy a house) so if you enjoy rolling home from Kingers at 4am more than once a week then we probably won't be a good fit! On weekends I like to get outdoors, go to the beach, go to cafes or markets, take Sunny for walks and just generally be social with friends. Looking for someone who is a normal, functioning adult that is a non-smoker. I own bits and pieces but no larger items such as fridge, washing machine etc so it would be great if I could team up with someone who has those things already! I work full time so $$$ is no issue and I always pay rent on time. If you're interested send me a message :)
Hi! I'm an exchange student from Sweden arriving in Newcastle on 11/03/17 for one semester of full time studing. Easy going, social and responsible. Looking for anything furnished with friendly inhabitants! :-)
Hello humans We are a couple both studying speech pathology at UON and working part time. We are both kind and considerate beings who would like to start a quiet new household with another person or two (couples included). We are both vegans and like to cook and respect others personal space/privacy. We are looking to move before the end of February before uni starts back. We aren't drinkers, smokers and don't have any pets. Our hobbies include going for bushwalks, meditating, reading and watching movies. If you have any questions please feel free to text or message us :) We look forward to hearing from you.
Hey guys :) My name is Ashleigh and I'm 24. I'm quite social, creative and easy to get along with. Very relaxed by nature however do like a neat and clean environment to live in. I study floristry and also work in the industry. Weekly flowers is definitely a bonus :)
Hi :) I'm looking for a room in a share house from late February or early march. This will be for 1 year+ I'm currently near the end of a gap year I gave myself for 2016, (such a strange year) I've relocated from Melbourne to Newcastle for a change, I'm born and raised in Melbourne. I'm easy going, clean, I'm respectful of overs, I enjoy socializing, I surf, rock climb, play guitar (I'm certainly considerate with regards to noise/music I make) and I love a laugh. Previous to 2016 I was renting an 2 bedroom apartment in the suburb of Malvern on my own, the property manager gave me an excellent review which I'll be happy to provide. I've been working as a labourer the last 4 or 5 months. I have plenty of savings which I'll happily screenshot for proof. I keep in touch with a previous house mate who can be a reference. I'm happy to answer any questions and genuinely happy to have a chat

Not keen on a party house, I'm kinda over the getting drunk every weekend thing, all though I do enjoy going out and having a drink, being social and having good people around! I'm pretty well ready to move whenever, but before uni starts would probably be a good idea. Cheers!
I'm super laid back and really love going to the beach, live music, meditation and the wilderness. I'm studying film at TAFE which i really really love. I'm super clean and actually am a master dish-washer and am down for a communal vibe. Fire away with any questions or queries! :)
Easy-going people are really the only thing I care about. Other than that, I'm easy. I've graduated UNI, and am now looking to work full time in Newcastle. I'm a laid back guy, who's always down for a good time. Social, considerate, not really good at talking myself up. Non-smoker, I enjoy a good drink or twelve (when it's necessary, of course), and I have an affinity for dogs.
Hi there, moving to Newcastle from Melbourne to study criminology at UON. Worked in human services, community mental health care, government (boring!) and all manner of things in a fluctuating career trajectory. I have lived in Japan, Vietnam and have friends all over Aust and the world as a result. Widely travelled throughout Asia and enjoy the usual things, mainly social beers, bands, hanging out etc. Really looking forward to discovering a new city, new people, new job, perhaps new world-view? Open to all and sundry experiences, I've lived in shared housing my whole life, pretty much. I'd like to think I understand the dynamics!
I care about my flatmate's feelings so I always try to minimise noises and keep the place hygienic, I also put great amount of effort into getting along with my flatmates.
I am a 27yr old professional working in his own video production business. I also work a side job that helps bring in constant cash flow. I am a self-sufficient guy who works a lot and during downtime likes to chill and switch off by spending time either watching a film, tv series or reading a book. Would love to find somewhere to live by mid Jan
i work as a barista so already I have your attention. I'm up at 4:30am most morning so I will need to be with people who don't mind me getting up that early. I tend to kept to myself but don't mind a "family" BBQ and a couple of drinks. Just looking for somewhere that makes it feel like home and not like I'm bothering and inconvenience to anyone. I'm clean and I'm a massive push over so I'll be deso for you. Just like to see people happy.
G'day Mate, My names Dan and I am currently studying a sound engineering course at Tighes Hill TAFE. I am From the Hunter Valley region and would like a change of scenery. I have been offered a job as a sound technician in the Newcastle area but until I am based there they will not accept, hence the urgency of residents. My main interests would be socializing with mates, having a few beers, swimming at the beach, lots of fishing and absolutely anything music related. Cheers, Dan

I consider myself clean and respectable of others. I work Mon-Fri 9-5 but will sometimes work different hours or weekends. In my spare time I like to exercise and enjoy the odd drink. I'm looking to leave my current place in the next 2-3 weeks and ideally want a share place with other mid - late 20 yr olds.

I am a quiet but fun person, love being outdoors exploring but also love relaxing at home. I come from a country town in NSW and head home as often as possible. I am not a big party animal but love the occasional night out, bevies and snacks with mates. I love to cook (not the best but at least i try hah). If you would like to know anymore about me just send me a message :)
So a little about myself. Have just returned from two years of travel in Europe - Awesome experience!! Now back to reality. Currently sorting employment - Senior Accountant. Love to socialise, however, will also be studying for the next 18 months to get chartered. Into my league and having a beer come Friday. Looking to move in March/April. Currently living in Nelsons Bay with the parents so not ideal traveling into work everyday (once I get a job). I also have a bit of furniture from prior to going overseas - BBQ, TV, TV cabinet, lounges, outdoor setting, table and chairs, fridge, washing machine, mower, wiper snipper etc. I also have a small dog which has been living with my parents.
Hi! I'm Sarah. I'm a third year nutrition and dietetics student looking for a new abode in Newcastle before uni goes back. Very easy-going, neat and tidy. I'm not a party animal but definitely enjoy a glass of wine and a chat from time to time. I'm also very respectful of people's personal space and expect the same in return. I have just returned home to Australia after a few weeks of travel, so I'm looking to move back to Newcastle ASAP.
Hi, I'm a full time professional who has recently moved back to Newcastle. I work as a Commercial Manager (Contracts etc) for a Holiday Park group, located in Carrington - so i'm hoping to live close to work. I lived in Newcastle for the 5 years prior to this, during Uni, originally from Nambucca Heads on the NSW North Coast. I'm looking to move into somewhere pretty quickly as i'm currently staying with my girlfriend. I'm happy to provide some furniture, so let me know if the house requires anything. I have previously shared, and consider myself a pretty good housemate. I can (and do) cook & clean, am social but am respectful and enjoy privacy. I enjoy the occasional beer and like to know the people i'm living with, and have previously enjoyed the social aspect of a share house. Ideally, i'd like to be living with someone around my age who is working full time. Outside of work I enjoy getting outdoors, going to the beach or gym, plus all the usual stuff like dinner/coffee with friends. If you're looking for a solid housemate, please message me.
Hi, We're a couple (25 and 30) with a well trained golden retriever, and our fur baby (cringe...sorry) must come with us. We're laid back and chill, but we also know how to clean and we are sociable but not loud. We're focused on doing well at work and uni and meeting some really cool people along the way. I'm from Newcastle, my husband is Mexican-American (California). He makes great tacos, enchiladas and nachos. I'm working part-time and finishing a grad dip in psychology. We love movies, laughing and anything creative...save subway artistry. We are looking for a room in a share house with an ensuite or a granny flat. If you feel like getting in touch, just give us a bell or send us an email : )
Hey! I'm studying Mechanical Engineering at UoN. I've just returned from an exchange in Munich and am looking to move into a place in a good location with some friendly, funny people. When I'm free from study I like running around the city for cheap food/drink or maybe travelling a little bit, though I enjoy some hammock time too. I love a good chat and meeting people but I'm quiet and clean outside of that.
Hey hey! I've spent the past 3 years living in Canberra both on campus and most recently living in a share house off campus. This year I'm hoping to come and see what the water tastes like in Newcastle. I've recently started a Certificate IV in Veterinary nursing so I'm looking to continue my study, pick up some full-time work and enjoy the occasional cold one with Housemate's preferably in a similar position. I'm tidy, easy going, make a good cob loaf and can provide some mediocre banter (and a 49" TV). I've mostly found it easiest living with guys while in Canberra but I'll also be happy as Larry in a mixed house. I'll be looking to move into somewhere at the end of June hopefully in the vicinity of Adamstown as I have a few good mates living there already. I'd be interested in looking for low maintenance and relatively modern houses/town houses (3/4 bedroom). But depending on what is available at the time I'm pretty keen to move anywhere. If you think we're looking for similar things and will kick it off pretty well or want to know if I'd be willing to compromise on location, bedrooms, rent budget, residential type, etc just swing me a message, I'm pretty flexible. I look forward to hearing from those who are interested. Woo hoo let's do this. It'd also be cool if you had a dog so I can pet it.
I'm a business consultant working full time in Newcastle. I'm friendly, easy going, tidy and reliable. Respect people and their homes as I would do mine. I love reading, travelling, like meeting people from all nationalities and open to new things in general. Good cook, enjoy a glass of wine occasionally.
This will probably be the most brutally honest flatmate add you will ever read. I am a full time employed person who love my own space so I will stay out of your way a lot but I am happy to have a drink and spend time with a fun flatmate. I love to cook and look after the space. I am pretty house proud. Here is the thing, I am looking for something very specific. I am single and would like to have fun without judgement. I will give and give to the house and the people in it but here are the things I need. A flat mate who ... Must be ok with - sex sounds - muffled screams - lesbian action (I am bi and sometimes enjoy the company of ladies) - jelly wrestling parties - group sex (it's ok, you can join in if you like!!) - BDSM themes Must not be A prude Also, no vegans. Sounds silly but I have loved with people who wouldn't let me cook meat in the house before soooo ... Nope. As you can see I am honest and straight forward ... What you see is what you get !! Male flatmate preferred. Purely because I usually get a long with males better, but I am happy to be proved wrong !! :)) Peace and love
I am in the Early Stages of looking into my next living situation. Looking at moving end of March. I have furniture for a room + lounge room. Fridge and washing machine. I can sell/ store some furniture, but would prefer to keep as much as possible. Looking at unfurnished room/ studio/ granny flat etc. I am an "Ambivert" (Both introvert and extrovert) I Like people, and socializing, however, I need my own space and time to recharge. I clean up after myself, and prefer a tidy house- but not an OCD clean freak. I like to think i'm a considerate housemate, and quite open for discussion for any house rules/ to avoid tense/ negative conflict.

Hi future housemate, I am 33yrs old, single and currently working full-time for a Construction Company. I am very clean, reliable for paying rent and bills on time, I am easy to get along with and I hate drama in a household so communication is a big plus for me as I have been burnt in the past with house sharing. I do have a five month old puppy Bella who is toilet trained and she is a small dog (Maltese X Terrior) so I would prefer someone who is a dog lover. Feel free to ask me anything about myself. I look forward to hearing from you :)

I'm an easy going sociable person, who is clean and responsible. I'm bubbly and can get along with just about anyone. I love animals big and small and I am highly respectable of others in any given situation. I love to have quiet nights in just as much as I love to have a night out on the town or some drinks with mates. I currently live on the Central Coast after travelling S.E.Asia and looking for accommodation close to the beaches and cycleways as I love to be outdoors and keep relatively fit and healthy. I'm currently in my 2nd year of study at UON, while I also work casually to fund my living and travel addiction. I'm looking to make some life long friends as well as find a place I can slot my bed into and call a home.
