Hey there! We are two 4th year UON students looking for a place to call home! We are both studying in the allied health sector and love what we do! Ideally we are looking for a place that gets a bit of a breeze, so we don't swelter in summer. 1-2 more people would be perfect, as we believe a smaller household is a closer household! and are very keen on team-ups as we have been searching the real estate and are hoping to get a new share house going. We met living on campus (for 2 years) so we aren't rookies in share accommodation. Georgia loves keeping neat and tidy spaces, whilst Hayley is a little more relaxed. However, after living with Georgia she has also upped her standards of cleanliness and organisation. Both of us love the outdoors, and give most things a go! Although you can't go past some chilled afternoons at the beach, with a sneaky bev here or there. Like most years Hayley's new years resolution is to get fit and go running- so please, if you think you could help with motivation hit us up! Although we try to keep active we also need our down time, which is often spent watching Netflix and indulging in tea, or even wine and cheeses if we're feeling spicy. We understand the need for space, and will be certain to give you yours. Although we do hope we can create a lovely family atmosphere! We are getting old, so no longer interested in hard nights out every Wednesday and Friday. So if you are more inclined to have chilled backyard drinks with a few close mates and good beats, we are the gals for you! Give us an OI if you think we're right for you!
Definitely not looking for a party house! Hi! Post-grad student (primary teaching) here. Mid-to-late thirties, single and not exactly ready to mingle. I consider myself quiet and respectful. My interests are pretty nerdy, which include comedy, podcasts, comics, and the odd computer game. I’m reliable with bills & rent. Hope to meet you soon!
I´m a social, clean 21 years old boy. I´m an exchange student from Norway where I study a master in Business and administration. I´m polite, outgoing and helpful. In my spare time i like doing sports, travel and trying new things.
Just looking for a place to stay, beginning with 4-6months with the possibility to stay longer anywhere in Newcastle. I have a 5month old indoor kitten who is very well trained. I love going to the beach, adventuring and watching movies. I don't mind going out on weekends and having a few drinks. I coach gymnastics every afternoon and Saturday mornings
20 yo // first year part-time uni student // casual waitress I'd consider myself a caring person who loves making new friends. I do like to busk in some alone time here and there and respect that others do too but also won’t ever be one to turn down a moment to procrastinate in any way or form (🍷). I'm a lover of the ocean, wine, dogs, Coffee, Netflix, music festivals, photography, travel & all things good. Social wise- I do like to go out occasionally, but drinks out the back will always take the cake. Cheese platters are pretty good too. Would love to live with others that are fun, caring and honest about things... Feel free to suggest for coffee and a chat if you're interested as it’d be nice to hear from you.
Hi there I'm a responsible 30 yr old looking for a room. I'm easy going, clean and respectful. I've lived in many share houses before so am experienced. I enjoy socialising but also like my quiet time. Love watching movies, cooking and hanging out with friends. Love animals but don't have any pets of my own. Looking for somewhere close to public transport. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
Hi potential future flatmates, my name is Kevin. I am recently turned 23 and have just relocated to Newcastle for a new full-time job. I am expecting to be in Newcastle for the next 8/9 months and am hoping to find an established place with other flatmates. Possibly renting for only 6 months, and extending it from there. I am an all time foodie. If you love to eat, we will be awesome friends. I do occasionally go out to eat to try new things, however if not, i will usually cook. I am a very clean and tidy person, so i will clean up after myself. I am very punctual and will pay my bills and rent on time as required. My lifestyle is quite basic, going to work 5 days a week, going to the gym in the evening and trying to enjoy a cheese platter and wine with the housemates. I occasionally cook Vietnamese food, so you're welcome to try it (i heard i make heck of a good spring roll). I try to be healthy (but lets be honest everyone enjoys fast food from time to time). Please message me if you think i will be an excellent flatmate. If you want to meet up to chat to get to know me better, let me know. :) Please also note I am willing to team up with other people to find a place to rent. Cheers Kevin
I am a chilean internship research student at University of Newcastle, I'm here for only two and a half months, so have intentions to exploit my time here. I've already bought a bike which I'm using to reach everyplace. I can teach spanish, as you can help me to improve my english. I am a very orderly person, but with my stuff, not a maniac who bothers the others with it. I would love to share a beer at night and have a good conversation ;) Also happy if you can show me the beaches and any other place of interest. Other things about me: I like to hear music (Snarky Puppy is my favorite band), I'm an electronic engineer, currently working on Computational Neuroscience, but here in Australia on Education (easy, sounds freak, but I am not, at least I think so xd). Other themes of interest we will know when opening those beers!
Currently working full time Monday- Friday, I'm not home most of the day during the week. Prefers to keep the house in a clean and tidy state, owns no pets, but a lot of plants 🌱 Looking to live with people who aren't just looking to fill a room, but people who are social and are up for going out for low key drinks, or beach hangouts.
I am a history teacher by profession. This year I am undertaking a Masters of Research in Australian colonial history e.g. frontier violence. Vegan, lover of the ocean and having a beer. Currently working at Coal & Cedar. I consider myself to be friendly, open minded and easy going.
28 year old Kiwi gal looking for a friendly place to make my new home. I work full time at KOFM/Hit106.9. Like to balance my social time and down time - so I'm fun but not in your face about it all the time. I'm clean and respectful 😊

Hi, I’m Alicia. I have lots of different hobbies. I like to bake and can make macaroons. I have a sewing machine so I can repair your clothes but it does need it’s own space. I’m very active I play team sports mainly AFL at the moment but I can also play soccer, basketball and netball. I also try to get to the gym everyday of the week but when I’m at home I like to chill in front of the TV. I mainly watch ABC and SBS and have never watched an episode of the Bachelor. I like live comedy and music. I have been living by myself for the past year so I may not be as neat as most people. I’m happy to share household chores but not spending every weekend cleaning. I have my own furniture including a fridge so I am not looking for a place in an already furnished house.
I am a Norwegian exchange student, who will be in Newcastle for 4-5 months. Will describe myself as friendly and outgoing person. I like it clean and tidy. I dont smoke and don’t own any pets. I enjoy sports and pets. Love to get to know new people. I will be studying at the University of Newcastle, and maybe travel a bit around in Australia.
I’m 30, Newcastle born and bred, after a room in the CBD. I’m an accountant, and I'm looking for somewhere within walking distance to the University. I enjoy all sports including Cricket, League, NFL, NBA, UFC. I play basketball on the weekends with my girlfriend in a mixed team. I’m quite social, usually being the one in my group of friends to organise dinners/drinks. I'm also into music, Triple J being my daily station. Ideally looking for a room with my own bathroom, property must have NBN internet, and already furnished would be a bonus. Thanks in advance! Adam.
I am very easy-going, not very picky about anything really. I can be very talkative, but if people want to be left alone, I can also be calm and just do my own stuff. If there's any great social activities, I rarely say no. I love to drink with friends, but I can control myself reasonably well.
So unfortunately my landlord has decided to sell (living on Darby street and love it). So a little about myself. I'm accountant working full time for a firm in the CBD. Will be finishing my CA this year (two semesters). Before this I spent the last two years travelling Europe. And will be off again this year for four weeks to the Russia World Cup. If you enjoy travelling and/or the NRL we will most likely get along. Into my league and having a beer come Friday. Definitely not after a party house, but enjoy hanging out with the people I live with. I also have a bit of furniture from prior to going overseas - BBQ, TV, TV cabinet, lounges, outdoor setting, table and chairs, fridge, washing machine, mower, Xbox, Nintendo 64 etc. Which I will either bring or sell. Hope to hear from you soon!!
I'm a Queenslander moving to Newcastle, to study at the University of Newcastle. I enjoy snowboarding, surfing and I'm always up for a good chat.
Hi I’m Tiksha, I’m 25 years old working at an architecture firm in town. I’m originally from the Central Coast and I’ve been living in a share house in for the past few years, looking to move right into town. I’m laidback, tidy and a social person and try to make the most of my weekends being out and about.
Good day! I am a brazilian moving to Newcastle to start a PhD program at UON. I am very friendly and social. I enjoy hanging out with friends, but also love to spend some time at home watching Netflix or cooking. I am a clean and tidy person who respects others privacy and space since I like to be respected too. Looking forward to share a house with friendly people.
Emma and Kieran here! We are your standard description of a fun, friendly and easy going couple, who are welcoming and like to make new friends. We are both full time professionals working Monday to Friday as environmental consultants. We have one currently unemployed, awesome and low maintenance dog called Willow who is a 3 year-old small Corgi X (?). Current landlord can provide reference for us as well as for the dog. We are hoping to find a new place to jump into when our lease ends in February. Can provide any further details upon request. Thanks! ☺️
I am a Law and Political Science student at the University of Newcastle. Also work part time in hospitality. Living life to the fullest is my motto and always keen on doing fun and exciting things. I am a bit of a social butterfly I always love having drinks with friends and sometimes going out clubbing. At the same time I am also a super hard worker and put in the effort at university. I try to stay active and eat healthy as much as I can. I do have a pet cat which I would LOVE to bring with me but my parents would happily take care of her if this is not possible. As I work and study in Newcastle, I would prefer a location right in the city and close to everything! I identify as gay, so other gay room mates would be fantastic although I do get along with everyone!
G'day! Easy-going, quiet, respectful of others, clean and tidy, don't drink (don't mind if you do) or smoke (yuck), and always happy to help out around the house. I enjoy a chat, especially when the topic is about travel. I work full-time, so you don't need to worry about whether or not I'll pay my rent on time. I look forward to meeting you. Cam

I'm a 3rd year double major in Political Science (Honours) and Religious Studies. I take my studies very seriously and rarely drink or party, although I do enjoy a good meal, nice drive and time at the beach. I'm also into fitness, and healthy living. I'm a former homeowner and landlord and am a very clean and respectful person to live with. I'm looking forward to making new friends in Australia and I hope to speak with you soon!
Hey there! I'm a second year physiotherapy student looking to move closer to university. I maintain a healthy lifestyle, love sport, and keep good care of my personal belongings. I don't smoke or leave a mess, and always clean up after myself. I'm super easy going and spend the majority of my time studying, working, and playing sport.
My name is Ryan, I’m a 27yo full time professional who works on the central coast. Recently moved to Newcastle for a change in scenery. I’m neat and tidy with furniture to fill a unit if required. I enjoy a laugh and watching the footy with a few beers. Keen to get involved in a few sports aswell. I commute down to Tuggerah on the train and cycle to work. So station access is a priority. Looking to rent a newish 2 bed place around Broadmedow, Hamilton or Honeysuckle.
I am a PhD student who loves cooking. I like to keep the place where I stay clean and tidy. I am a quiet person and like to be by myself but love socialising too. I would expect the house mates to keep the house clean and tidy and be quiet especially during night time.
I am a full-time medical student at Newcastle uni, looking for a furnished room (at least a bed and a desk) in a sharehouse, from late February. I am clean and tidy, and fairly self-sufficient. I'd like to live with fun, easygoing people, and be able to come home to a friendly environment and a glass of wine every now and then!
