Moving to Newcastle second semester to start uni. Have lived out of home for the majority of the past 2 years following winter as a ski instructor so I have experience living in all kinds of accommodation with both males and females. Easy going and adapt to most living situations. Love to chill out with room mates over some beers on an arvo. Social and enjoy a night out as well. Tend to be tidy and clean up after myself too. In my free time I love anything active, surfing, skating, skiing, basketball, toss a footy, you name it I'm there. All in all I'm moving to Newcastle to start uni and have fun along the way. shoot us a message if I sound like the guy for you, I'd love to come round and say g'day. Cheers p.s. if you have pets thats a bonus
Dave is an Aussie from Fremantle, W.A. and I am an American from Chicago. We are just getting done with a year long trip around Australia and a trip to Japan. I guess you could say we like to travel. We are relocating from Fremantle to Newcastle and would love some chill people to live with while we get sorted. We are pretty easy going, enjoy our own time as well as socializing and Dave is always down for a surf. We are thinking three months at least and then go from there.
Easy going, like to keep things nice and tidy. Live an active and beach lifestyle, super chill, and enjoy social drinks on weekends. I'm studying at the university of Newcastle and also working part time. Ideally looking for a place close to town and very short drive from the beach.
Hey! :) I'm a clean, friendly person looking for a social household, but I also enjoy my own down time. I'm a uni student studying Primary Teaching and am in my third year. I enjoy playing sports such as basketball and am always up for drinks or movie nights.
I am looking for a potential sharehouse in Cooks Hill, Newcastle, the Hill etc. with one other person, either 2 or 3 bedroom, shared or 2 bathrooms, I have a large budget but rental companies won't rent to me as an individual! I am a shiftworker so I work a rotating roster which gives housemates and myself a chance for alone time. I am fairly active but love to chill out in the backgarden and play with my pet rats (absolutely LOVE any kind of animal) and don't mind a cheeky beer. I don't even own a TV so I keep myself busy in other ways! My perfect housemate would be someone who keeps the common rooms tidy, is relaxed and social but not a partier in the house, wants to be nice to the environment that loves animals and can be respectful when I have to sleep during the day after nightshift (only 2 days every 8). I have a fully equipped kitchen set up (microwave, fridge, coffee machine and cooking utensils etc.) brand new washing machine and that's it! No lounge or tv but some floor cushions! These items don't have to come with me but the option is there. I compost all my veggies to use in gardens etc. active recycler and nature lover, love the outdoors and am obsessed with travel.
Hey I'm Joel! Currently looking for a room to rent somewhere close in town, currently live in cooks hill. I work full time and also study full-time at UON, I love meeting new people and traveling as most people do, very easily to get along with, clean and respectful. Also open to leasing out a place if its decent, any question hit me up. Thanks!
We're a couple from around Gloucester/ Forster area, we're both currently studying full time at the university of newcastle and looking for a new place before the start of second semester. Mason is an all round top bloke, He studies civil engineering and surveying and can pull off a mullet and a moe pretty well. He's pretty great to live with because can hold a friendly conversation but won't be in your face at all. He likes playing the Xbox and drink of choice would be a ice cold schooner of tooheys new. Jasmin is alright herself, she's studying writing at the uni and is a bit of a creative sort. Loves live music, bushwalking and reading. Pretty good to live with as she can talk about pretty much anything and is always there for a chat if needed. Drink of choice would be a double shot tequila sunrise when she's feeling loaded but lets be real, usually you'll catch her with a bottle of harddys charddy. We're both pretty good at keeping to ourselves or having a cheeky chat in the kitchen, whichever you prefer. We're both clean, tidy and love a good netflix binge. We've listed ourselves as looking for a place near the city but are open to suburbs close to the uni. We both have a stable income rolling in and the 280$ a week is our maximum rent SPLIT not each.
Happy, quiet, responsible, pay rent on time, likes and gives respect to others. Keeps active, looking for a long term with all bills included. Prefers not overcrowded places. Close to transport. Likes Pets. I have my own bed, looking for a private room. Not into parties, enjoys day living, walking, gardening at times. The locations 1) in the Newcastle choices have to be close to the Princes Highway to help me catch the 350 bus route bound to Swansea early morning, this bus is frequent during peak times which sets my traveling time very tight during non-peak hours. or 2) In the Revesby area or 3) in North Parramatta or 4) in Bankstown
I'm Adam, I'm 18 years old, and I am currently studying Fitness at TAFE. I've recently moved into the Newcastle area to increase the chance of getting a full-time job. I am hoping to later get work in the fitness industry but for now, I am aiming for an apprenticeship of some sort as I have a few contacts around this area. My partner, Sara is also 18. She is working part-time at a physiotherapy company as a receptionist. She's also studying flexible hours for a business course. We're both non-smokers and non-drinkers. We're both quiet, neat, and live a healthy lifestyle, and enjoy the beach and the gym. We'd love to make some friends but also happy to keep to ourselves and enjoy our privacy. Together, we're able to pay anything around the $300-350 mark
Hello, I'm an ambo and have just been posted in Newcastle so will have to move from my home in Orange for the year. Looking to rent a house with a backyard as I have a kelpie, a border collie cross and a cat. Ive been looking online for rentals and Newcastle is a little pricier than I was expecting and would like to rent a nice house (by the beach preferably). Looking for a friendly housemate who loves animals to help with the rent so we can have somewhere decent. I'm very active, social, love to cook and enjoy beers at the pub with friends from time to time but I also value my downtime when I have it. Happy to do the leg work with finding the right place so Let me know if you are interested in teaming up!
I turn 18 in July - and will have to move out around then. I'm pretty chill, go to TAFE 2 days a week - doing a certificate IV in Community Services. I also work at Domino's 4 days a week. I am gay (and have a girlfriend) - so hopefully this won't be an issue. I love music and art, and will listen to pretty much anything. I also love live music and go to a fair few concerts. Though I am young - I am mature, responsible, clean and tidy. Not a big partier - and I don't smoke or drink. Looking to live anywhere in the Newcastle or Sydney areas. Hoping for easygoing flatmates, that don't mind a chat every now and then. I do have a puppy so must be pet friendly!
I'm moving from Sydney to Newcastle at the beginning of July to study a Bachelor of Communications at Newcastle Uni. I'm hoping to find a small sharehouse that is preferably close to Darby st area.
I'm needing to move for my uni prac (currently in Armidale) My prac starts in July but I'm wanting to be settled in somewhere by June. I'm not a typical party student but I do love going out for dinner/drinks plus just chilling around the house. I absolutely love baking and I do make some mean brownies, banana bread and a quality lemon meringue pie!! I'm super respectful of privacy but also up for a chat and adventures! I've been out of home for 4 years so I know how to keep a tidy house, clean and look after myself. So I'm looking for a room with the budget of $150-60 which includes bills or around $110-30 which just covers rent.
Im a beauty therapist and my partners a scaffolder we both work alot so not home much. Looking for somewhere thats not a party house. We are both very clean tidy and like to live an active healthy lifestyle.
Kind, easy going, clean, soon to be podiatrist, love to get out and try new things, meet new people ☺. I am an aged carer pt and pt final year student. I enjoy dancing running and being an aunty. Im also an experienced pet/house sitter ☺.
Hi I'm Paula I'm looking to share with someone who is neat, respectful and easy going. I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle, going for beach walks, doing yoga and going to cafes with friends. I am a social person but I also like time to myself. I work at the University of Newcastle as a health promotion research assistant.
Hi. My name is Vaughan. I'm 38 and a mature age student currently living in the Upper-Hunter but wanting to get back down to Newcastle for a change of atmosphere and lifestyle. I am mainly busy with my studies but am open to forming friendships and am very respectful of all people irrespective of class, colour and creed. I am clean, tidy, quiet and endeavour to respect the space of all other housemates. I enjoy the company of others, young and old, am a social drinker and love music and losing myself in a good book.
I'm pretty easy going 27 year old that likes to keep active. I'm also a very tidy and domesticated person that enjoys the beach, eating out and travel. I would like to find an abode with another likeminded person to houseshare with. I work long hours and you would hardly notice I was around. Don't hesitate to get in contact me
I am a very quiet and clean person who enjoys reading, gaming, cooking or sleeping on my downtime. I'm very respectful of others and would never intentionally cause issues.
I'm quiet at first, but good fun once we get to know each other. I'm a very good cook, I love sports and I'm neat and tidy. I'm originally from Melbourne and have spent a lot of time in Perth, but now I call Newcastle home.
Hi I'm Ally - I'm a 21 year old HR professional who is originally from the hunter valley. Before I finished my degree and got into HR I worked in a cellar door in the hunter so I obviously love a wine and good food. I also like to keep fit and healthy and I am relatively neat!
Hi, I'm Lucy. I am currently studying to become an English teacher at the University of Newcastle (yes, I am quite aware of the fact that I have a death wish.) I am an on campus veteran who has taken enough of a beating to my liver and my bank account to warrant looking off campus for accommodation. But enough about me. I mean, I know the real reason you're here. It's to find out what living with me would mean for you. If you choose to live with me, I can promise an exceptionally neat and tidy common area. However, don't let the cleaning nazi thing scare you off. I am also quite laid back, easy to get along with and I'm always up for a chat. I'm even funny ... sometimes. However, I will warn you right now, I do like a drink ... or seven ... and I do like to party and hit up the bars. I would love to live with people who would be keen to join in or have a few casual drinks around the house, but I understand if that's not your scene. I would also like to live in an environment where I feel comfortable to bring friends around and ideally, if you can tolerate my sarcasm, I would like to be friends or friendly with my housemates. With that said though, I am incredibly respectful of boundaries and can be quiet when I need to be. If that's not good enough, I will be away for work every second weekend and you won't have to deal with me. Ultimately, I'm not promising to be the best housemate ever, but I can promise you that living with me will never be boring. My moving date is subject to change and I'm pretty much ready to move whenever you are. Message me for any more details.
