Working as a hairdresser full time. Love meeting people and hanging out but know about that personal space lovin. Looking to be in a pretty chilled out environment.
Hi there! I will be moving to Canberra next year working as a full time professional (8am-5pm). I am looking for temporary accommodation beginning February 18th, 2018 till Mid/late April. I'm clean and respectful around the house. I also respect privacy of others but don't mind a small chat here and there :) Hobbies include going on hikes and group fitness classes :)
Hi! I'm moving from Sydney to Canberra due to a job offer. I'm very easy going and have experience with shared accommodation. I always clean up after myself and keep the shared area tidy as my own. Although I'm always up for a good chat, I enjoy my alone time. I'll be working 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday and spend the weekends with my boyfriend so I won't be at home much.
I'm moving back to Canberra after a short time away and am looking for somewhere to live. Working full time time keeps me pretty busy, but when I'm not at work my interests include cycling, mountain biking and skiing. I've lived in lots of sharehouses over the years, am generally relaxed and content to do my own thing, but would be great to live with some like-minded people who enjoy sharing the occasional meal or glass of wine.
I will be moving to Canberra in January to start post-graduate medicine at ANU. I have lived in share houses in Sydney's Inner West for almost 4 years, and have lived with a huge range of people. I have an little indoor cat named Eva, and we are looking for a relaxed place somewhere close to ANU or the Canberra Hospital to share with clean but relaxed individuals!
Hi mates, I'm moving from Sydney to start a graduate role with Department of Agriculture and Water Resources. - I'm laid back, clean, respectful and enjoy good balance of socialising and alone time. - Hobbies: Soccer, hiking, gaming, some TV shows/anime, hanging out with friends and riding my motor bike. -More than happy to contribute with furniture or whatever the house needs to make it more enjoyable for everyone. Looking for: -Beautiful new home with some cool cats (allergic to actual cats). Ideally want to be in the house before 8th Feb, but am flexible with move-in dates. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
I have recently relocated from Newcastle to Canberra to study a masters program at ANU. Currently staying in short-term accommodation in Scullin, and am looking to move in closer to Civic before or starting at February. I have about five or so years experience living in sharehouse arrangements. I am neat, clean, responsible and quiet. I enjoy a friendly household where the tenants engage in polite conversation, and I am also conscious of giving people space and privacy.
I am a enthusiastic person who loves to socialize with new people. Nevertheless, I also understand personal space, and will not impose. I am a student of international relations and diplomacy and as such am interested in politics, human rights issues, etc. Before I started this Master I completed my Masters in History as well. So if you like to talk about medieval times, that is absolutely fine by me. Don't worry, I am capable of talking about other things as well. I am staying in Australia for 3 months to conduct an internship at the Belgian Embassy and hope to make some new friends while doing so. Greetings ;) Ine
My name is Hannah and I am moving down from Sydney for a full-time position with the APS In late January. I am a neat and tidy non-smoker, looking for shared accommodation for a minimum period of 1 year. I live a pretty active lifestyle and spend my free time out and about, hanging out with friends, and hitting the gym but will just as happily binge watch some TV from time to time. For the most part, I keep to myself however, my friends consider me a pretty good cook so I am happy to share a drink or meal some evenings to wind down if that’s your style. (As I’m a Canberra newbie, I’m keen to take any hot tips you might have!)
Hi :) Freya and I are moving to Canberra and looking for a sharehouse together. Freya is 28, studied and worked in Political Economy at Sydney Uni. Then she has been working in the community sector in Darwin and remote Aboriginal communities for 4 years. Now she is doing a masters of Education that is placing her at a high school in Tuggeranong for 2 years. Dave is 31, studied physical geography and Aboriginal studies. He has been living and working with Yolngu people in Arnhem Land for the last 10 years, becoming fluent in the language and working in the cross-cultural community sector. He's following Freya and will find work in a Uni/Parks/Guiding/something? We both like a supportive home with good communication where we all contribute what we can. We like to share dinner with housemates and hangout when it works for people, while balancing with own space. Freya will be pretty busy with her near-full time study and 0.8 teaching load. Dave will be making dinners and looking for part time work. We're both politically left-of-center and would like to live in a queer-friendly house with like-minded people. We've decided to make the move back south and have been sad to leave our lovely Darwin sharehouse, and we're looking for something similar. Hope to hear from you soon! Freya and Dave
Hey! I'm Steph, I'm 22 and moving up to Canberra from Melbourne to start a new job with the public service. I consider myself to be clean, easy going, and am always up for a chat, post work wine and cheese, or brunch on the weekend, but also respect and understand the need for personal space.
I'm coming down from Brisbane to Canberra for a graduate position within the APS starting February. I'm relaxed and laid back, easy going can get along with anyone, love a good laugh. Won't be bringing much down with me so will be tidy no hassles there! Into sports, bit of casual gaming , outdoor activities, and travel so definitely looking forward to seeing what Canberra has to offer in that regards. Show me what you got, Would prefer 6months+, I am flexible with move in dates but prefer to be in Canberra by February the 1st at the latest. Cheers!
We love to keep the house clean and basic hygiene will be well taken care of. Wants to come back to healthy home cooked food? Just let me know and I can always just cook an extra portion for you. Maybe healthier cakes/ muffins for any celebration We are environmentally friendly when it comes to energy consumption. So far only used heating in winter evening to heat up the room and aircon to cool down room when it is above 30 degree indoor. Our current housemates were amazed that water and electricity consumption went down after 2 of us moved in to replace one previous housemate. Time to move on as one of our housemates decided to have an unemployed guest who overstay from 2 weeks to 10 weeks, damaged the oven and even created a mess daily in the kitchen which I have to clean up. We rarely have visitors except for the occasional dinner with friends. And maybe friends/families from Melbourne who might stay a day or 2. Furnishings we have to share on top of our room furnishings: Indoor: 23" TV with TV Box, Indoor Antenna, HP Envy printer, a foldable dining table, microwave, crock pot, rice cooker, kettle, sandwich maker, vacuum cleaner, a mop, a kitchen bin etc. Optional (can give these away) Outdoor: White table with 3 chairs, outdoor umbrella, umbrella stand. Garden: Shovel, garden fork, manual lawn mower, leaf blower. We do prefer house mates who are respectful to others, easy going and clean up after themselves.
I will be moving to Canberra to start working full time at the Royal Danish Embassy starting end January 2018. I'm currently a political science student from Denmark. I'm pretty easy going, easy to talk to and very sociable.Since I don't know anybody, I would love a roommate who also want to do something and spent time together (I'm not saying that i am going to be clingy, and I do respect and enjoy privacy). I'm very active. I like to play football/soccer and run or go hiking and explore the city. But I kind of also really like candy and Netflix - I get easily addicted to new series.
Hello! I'm a 23-year-old uni student, moving to Canberra from the Sunshine Coast to study at ANU next year. Looking to move into a furnished room in an existing place near uni in early February. Keen to live with like-minded students/young professionals. I study full-time, work part-time in a bar (late nights) and like to relax and have a glass of wine with friends on my days off. I am really easy going and good at being tidy, making margaritas, paying rent on time and respecting others space.
I'm a 24 year old guy who has relocated to Canberra just over a year ago. Work in the public sector. I am looking for somewhere to live preferably over a year and beyond but anything over 6 months is decent. I'll tell you a little about myself. I especially enjoy time at the the beach and exercise when I can, cooking, netflix and walks up any close by mountains are also my hobbies. I consider myself to be a clean and considerate person. I'm a very social guy and enjoy a good chat and the occasional bev on weekends. However can respect anyone's privacy and enjoy some time spent alone too. I'm also likely to travel interstate quite often so most likely not always gonna be home. I often have a busy lifestyle but find balance to be very important. I'm easy going, love to meet new friends and share experiences. I have also had more than 5 years in house sharing experience. I also have a brand new humungous LG fridge/freezer and new lounge pull out sofa bed thingy with storage that can be of use to the home. My potential roomie must be able to fail a criminal background check, preferably because of time spent in prison, you must have enough pets to classify your room as a small zoo, and you feel the need to explain how your ex screwed you over in your reply email. I'm just kidding. I cook lots of chicken nuggets but can actually cook a decent feed and absolutely love cooking and sharing with my roomie/s every once in awhile. I'm a decent human being often finding myself wanting to help people for no other reason than they are human. If I sound alright, let me know whats up. I don't expect y'all to kick out your significant other/best friend/elderly grandmother to let me move in but. Cheers✌️ Marley
Hi all, Social and considerate 32 y/o with plenty of share housing experience. I don’t smoke, work full time in a science roll for the public service and throw a bit of study in occasionally. In my spare time I enjoy catching up with friends, cooking good food for myself and others, travel, movies, playing sport(professional social sport ring in) and running trails. Looking to move somewhere from January-February but very flexible
I'm a 25 year old female looking for a place to live with respectful housemates. I'm happy to share a wine or dinner, although also enjoy my own time and space. I've been in Canberra just over three years, and my current housemate is moving to Sydney.
We are a fun couple who are looking for roommates who would enjoy an evening conversation over a bottle of wine. We are polite individuals who respect the privacy of others and appreciate our own down time. We are both full time students in permanent part-time employment, making us very busy during the working week. Our interests include cooking, playing pool, sports, watching movies, music and reading. If we sound like a good fit, we look forward to hearing from you.

I am friendly, clean and tidy. I cook well and it could be the chance to taste some good italian food ;) I am willing to pay up to 200 AUD pw. From the first of February to the first of March my girlfriend will come to visit and we can pay more in that period. Thank you for your time. Antonio Vigilante
Moving to Canberra for an APS job at the end of January. Clean and tidy non-smoker. Respectful, considerate and sociable but also happy to give you your own space. I'd ideally like to live close to Civic and with flatmates around my own age (late 20s to early 40s). I'm really going to miss my beloved family Labrador, so if you happen to have a dog, bonus.
