As a person I am very easy going, tidy and respectful to others. I am currently a single male at my early 30's. While I prefer having a private room where I can relax and study, I also love watching movies, listening music (off course in low volume), jogging, and playing outdoor games. I'm not really into big parties, but I'm always in for sitting together in a cozy group with my friends.
Hi everyone My name's Josh, I'm 23 and after having studied politics and philosophy the University of Newcastle I have just moved to Canberra to study a Bachelor of Economics at the ANU. The occasional dinner/film with housemates would be fun, though I respect privacy and space. I like international cinema (Pan's Labyrinth is amazing), black coffee, I'm quiet and I'm vegan (if you're not that's fine too). I like to keep a clean and organised living space and would be happy to share chores. I can move anytime from now until early March.
So a little info about me! 28, just moved to Canberra for a promotion in the APS from Brisbane. I'm pretty relaxed and quiet, but enjoy a few social beverages, gaming on the PS4, or movie/netflix marathons. I've got a motorcycle so i like to get out of the house and go for rides on my days off. Cheers! Jack
Hey, I am a German student and I will be writing my Master's thesis in physics at ANU. My hobbies are: football (or soccer? I don't know how you call it), hiking, biking, badminton, playing games (board and computer), music and travelling. I like to cook and would consider myself as quite tidy. I am looking for people with whom I could live together, and maybe for new friends. I enjoy going out in the evening, but sometimes also want to have some privacy and relaxing evenings at home.
Hi my name is Kiara :) I work full time at The Canberra Hospital as a nurse. I am friendly, clean and easy going. I love bouldering, skiing, travelling and gardening. On my days off I like to go on adventures or out with friends
I’m a full time public servant who is also studying part time. I’m originally from sunny Western Australia. I enjoy keeping fit and playing sports. This is balanced by a baking addition (if you have a sweet tooth be prepared for diabetes) and love of bad television. I’m social and friendly, always up for a chat, coffee, gin or trashy television but I’m respectful of the need for personal space and not living in each other pockets. I’ve lived in sharehouses for quite some time and appreciate a clean and tidy home and am respectful of my housemates :) Ideally I’m looking for somewhere around Kingston/Braddon/Turner/Campbell etc so that I can cycle to work in Barton however but will consider outside of that.
Hey there, we are two open minded girls from Germany who move to Canberra to work there. Until now we lived and worked in Sydney. For us it dosn't matter how many flatmates we have , because we like it to meet new people! If you have an offer for us or need more information, don't be hesitate to contact me. King regards, Nele and Janina
Quirky, enviro-conscious, vegan, sociable person, looking for short term accommodation in a funky, centrally located suburb in Canberra. I have been travelling in my van around Australia with my dog, so she’d love dog loving house mates and a backyard to play in. Friendly, open minded people come at me! Bonus option: I sleep in my van!
I am a independent and neat 19 y/o girl who has just started work in the Public Service. I am easy to get along with and enjoy meeting new people and travelling. My passions are art, music, writing poetry and dancing - most things creative, really! I also have a knack for languages, having studied French and Latin at school and know some basic Italian having lived in Italy for two months working as an au pair. I am a mixture of extroverted and introverted... always up for a chat but also need my own downtime to refresh. Looking forward to hearing from you!
My name is Dylan, a 28 year old male working for Boeing Defence. Currently I reside by myself in Braddon, but am in the process of buying a house in my hometown of Mollymook on the South Coast, so I'm on the hunt for a cheaper alternative. Im an easy going guy, who is very clean, enjoys surfing, the outdoors and going to the gym. More than Happy to answer questions if you have any. Cheers, Dylan
My name is Szymon and I'm starting my full-time PhD studies in philosophy at ANU late February. I'm 28 yo and Polish. People say I'm fun; I don't intend to be too fun though and I spend most of the time reading/writing. I've got a generous scholarship, so don't worry about me paying rent on time or something. I have an office at ANU and I will be working from there (or from a library). When at home, I sleep a lot, like to cook (mostly vege but I'm very flexible in terms of food) and read. The noisiest think I can imagine doing are pushups or sneeze. I'm tidy, great at small-talks and a left-bottom on the political compass. I'm not an extrovert or something and I have the deepest respect for people's privacy. I don't party a lot, I prefer to grab a beer in my place and have a chat about politics, literature, music etc.
I have just moved from Sydney to start work as a Research Assistant at ANU and I am looking for a place ideally for the year. As for being a roommate I am a clean and tidy person and try to make as little mess as possible. At the same time, I am respectful of others space and do my best not to impose on others. Despite this I am friendly and easy going and more than happy to chat or have a meal. In my spare time I enjoy bushwalking, reading, and going to the cinema, but overall I'm up for anything and willing to try something once. If this sounds good to you please let me know.
Super fun girl studying biotechnology at ANU who would make a wonderful housemate. Always down to have fun but also understnd the times to be focused and respectful of other peoples commitments. Im clean and tidy and respectful of shared spaces and willing to play my role in the house. Im genuinely a wonderful human so please contact me if you have a spare room!!!
I am a 4th year student studying a mixture of politics, human rights and economics. While a social person who is always up for a good chat I also need my own space at times to recharge. I am an easy-going and friendly person who loves exercise, the outdoors, cooking, all things creative and a good dance. Also enjoy going for brunch and coffee more than I should. I have been in shared accommodation for 3 years so appreciate the need to be neat and respect each others space. Look forward to hearing from you!
I'm Dutch so I'm extremely averse to causing offense. I'm very clean and friendly to a fault, and always open for a movie night or group dinner (I'll clean the dishes unless you guys like pasta). In Australia for a year and decided to start off in Canberra, which isn't nearly as boring as everyone kept telling me 😀
My name is Esha and I work for Optus located in Moore street. After getting a transfer from Sydney Optus I have relocated to Canberra. I am an easy going person and can get along with any character. I love to make friends and also respect privacy at the same time . I enjoy spending time with my room mates and chat over dinner , sometimes even cook dinner if my friends are into bengali/indian food. As far as cleanliness is concerned I like to keep my space neat and clean . So if you think we can get along then shoot a message and Il get back to you.
Hi! I am an Italian postgraduate student and I will be staying in Canberra for few months working on an internship programme at ANU. I already live alone in Italy, and I keep my room and common spaces tidy and clean. I am quiet and respectful, but also like having good time with friends and getting to know the Australian way of life.
My name is Rob, I am a young professional working full time in Barton I'm looking for a new place in the Inner North/Inner South - as my previous sharehouse has recently broken up up after a year and a half and the commute from Gungahlin is absolutely killing me! I'm tidy, reliable, have positive rental and credit history and also like to have fun from time to time. Looking to move out in March(ish) but pretty flexible with dates. More detail if you haven't hit 'x' already: - I've lived in share houses for two years and was on the lease at my previous place (full bond returned). Before that I lived in a residential hall at the ANU for three years. - As a housemate I'm low drama and tidy. I've lived with mixed houses and grew up with sisters so I am pretty well trained on all the dos and don'ts of bathroom and kitchen etiquette. - I'm pretty work focused during the week and travel more than occasionally on weekends - but happy to be social with my housemates and involve them in my social life and activities. - I love catching up with friends, reading, listening to music, catching the Rugby in winter, trying out new restaurants and bars, collecting records, writing, going to public lectures, plays, and films, jogging, hiking and camping. I also volunteer pretty actively. Very open to new interests as well! Hope to hear from you soon!
I am a very bubbly person who enjoys quiet time or I can also be the life of the party, I am looking for somewhere where I can study and is close to Australian Catholic University. I am a very neat and tidy person, I can try cook, enjoy share meals and am a non smoker, would like a place where I can study in peace and friendly flatmates. Thanks
I have a wide variety of interests and get along with almost anyone. Some activities I enjoy are motorcycling, reading philosophy, fitness/nutrition and learning new recipes. I spent the first half of 2017 working as an accountant and then the last 6 months travelling Asia and Europe. I am a clean and tidy person and I don't like it when people keep a messy household.
