We are both hard workers, easy going, clean/neat and reliable. We are both from Wagga Wagga, recently moved to Canberra and both full time working. Breanna is a full time chef at the Knox cafe made in Watson and Trai is a plumber, party bus driver and truck driver. We love our music and always up for a chat but also like to have our own space.
Looking to rent two bedrooms for me and my friend Shweta for minimum one year near ANU. We are currently going to start studying at ANU for masters in Astrophysics and Masters in marketing. If not then one bedroom just for myself will just do fine. I would prefer two bedroom flat but we do not mind sharing with other flatmates.
Moving to Canberra next year, I’m pretty easy going, very clean and do my fair share around the house. Like to keep myself busy with gym, studies & work. However would love to spend time with the house mates and also be apart in whatever activities they may do. I like conversations and I talk a lot.
I am a full time worker, Real Estate Agent. Love to cook. Extremely easy going & clean. Love my own time and a general chat here and there. I have a 1 year old Cavoodle, Bailey who is toilet trained & does not shed hair.
G'day future flatmates! a little about me: I'm 27, and have been in Canberra for about 7 years on and off now (uni and work), I've lived in three share-houses during that time. I'm only leaving my current one (very sadly!) because I've fallen for a rescue dog that I want to adopt and they have cute rabbits that wont really get along a new doggo! (so ideally you'll love dogs too, hah!) I work full time in Watson at the AIE and I spend most of my spare time bouldering, slack lining, cycling, hiking, or getting out to gigs, though if I'm indoors you'll likely find me with my guitar, or curled up drinking tea and reading a book or watching ted talks. Some random things about me: Yo hablo un poco espanol, I love to cook, I'm converting my Subaru into a cool camper over the next 6months, I play guitar (and sometimes badly sing), I'm a vegan (but not the judgey kind - more the kind that will cook tasty food and share it with you! aka I can't cook for just 1 aha), I volunteer with the RSPCA, and I also study on the side of everything else. That being said I'm looking for a house/to team up and start a that's social and chill, with cool people! love to hang out when i have free time. I'm pretty flexible with move dates, I'll just be paying rent at my current place till they find a new housemate so if you've got something coming up let me know! :) Would be keen to team up and start a share house if the timing works out and I'm inspecting a few places in the inner north area! :) Hope to hear from you! Cheers, Chris
I'm an 18 y.o girl originally from Perth. I’m currently studying a bachelor of commerce/bachelor of business administration at ANU and am looking for a student-friendly room to stay in. My contract for my current share apartment (of 11 people) is coming to an end and I am hoping to find a place that's a lot more welcoming than my current residence. I’m originally from a household of 7 where I am the eldest of 5 kids so I know what it’s like to share spaces and live with other people. I’m a neat and tidy person and I like to cook. I tend to get involved in community service events and enjoy playing community netball. I also work part-time and can ensure reliable rent payments. I don’t drink and I don’t smoke.
Hi! My name's Phoebe and I'm looking for a 'home' to move into. Originally from Newcastle, I graduated from my Economics degree and found work as a public servant in Canberra about 2 years ago. I'm really looking for a home where the housemates get along and who wouldn't mind teaming up for dinner (or drinks) sometimes. I really enjoy DJ'ing (don't worry, I'm not noisy), and learning the drums (again, don't worry I don't have a kit at home), and I'm currently teaching myself how to produce music. I'm also interested in street fashion and dress accordingly on the weekends :) So moving in with other creatives would be a plus! I'm clean, friendly and easy-going, and also respect other people's privacy as I need down-time myself sometimes. If you are looking for someone who would fit in well with your current house, please contact me! A few miscellaneous things: I'm vegetarian, I work in the city so would like somewhere nearby if possible and looking to pay less than $200 a week, I enjoy working out at the gym, and I make a mean vegan curry ;)
Hey i'm Conrad. I'm doing a masters at ANU. I like music, art, and I'm a dockers fan (from WA). I'm good to have a conversation about social sciences/ humanities, or to get a few drinks with. I'm pretty rigorous about cleaning up. What more do you want?
We're a couple just moving in to Canberra this month. I'm studying at Canberra Institute of Technology this 19th of July, and my husband is coming with me. We'd like to find a shared house, with a reasonable distance from my school if possible. I studied art and design so I spend most of my days working on my creative works. My husband is a wrestling coach and love to do sports. We're both very neat people, loves to cook, we love pets (don't have one but don't mind living with one), love nature (if there's a garden it will be wonderful). We're both love to chat every now and then, and enjoy a company. We always do barbeque on weekend and would love to have room mates to join us!
I am a youthful 55yrs post-surgery Transgender person who is very easy going. I'm currently at University of Canberra studying Bch Of Public Health. I am mostly seeking to join an existing sharehouse with space, although starting a new share property is an option for me too. Just 2-4 people including me would be preferable. I would be willing to sign-up to a joint lease with other tenants if necessary. I can contribute furniture to the property, although I don't have a dining suite or a lounge suite. Alternatively, I can place unused items in a dry, lockup garage if available. * Kitchen = large twin door fridge, microwave and just about every cooking item you could want! * Living = large timber pieces including wall units, bookcase, hallway table and entertainment unit (for television, etc). * Laundry = front loading washing machine, ironing board, etc. * Outside = lawn mower, whipper snipper, water hose, etc. * Bedroom = I have a six piece timber bedroom setting. I have an existing NBN Internet contract with unlimited data and a 100mb speed connection. It also includes the Optus 'Fetch' TV with 6 channels and access to netflix, etc. If your place already has an internet service, I may be able to transfer my account to other tenants in the property where I currently live. I am available to move-in to a new property quite soon - within two/three weeks depending on mutual circumstances. My share of any rent would be $200 per week maximum (I am a Uni student after all.) I'd prefer a property that is in good condition and located within reasonable travel distance to the University of Canberra. But i'm flexible for the 'right' property. That's it !!! Hit me up if you have a large bedroom in a sharehome that may be suitable.
Full-time professional working with the APS in Barton. I enjoy my sport and often ride to work in the mornings. I am clean, tidy, and can be social while remaining respectful of boundaries. Looking for a place with similar values. I am French-Australian so naturally, I enjoy red wine, cheese and white flags. Cheers, Damien
I'm a pretty chilled guy, if I'm not working you'll probably find me gaming or binging Netflix, I'm fairly social but do like my own space, love to cook and I'm pretty tidy, currently applying for 2-3 bedroom townhouse looking for someone to rent with before I sign
I love to cook (fresh pasta, veg-heavy, baking, chocolate), read (books are my kryptonite) and seek out ways to progressively engage climate issues in systemic and community-based ways. I love to keep a tidy and fresh home, shop at the Epic markets and Aldi, mostly, drive and cycle for work. Regular yoga, irregular hiking, hanging/cooking with friends and the occasional dinner out make life delightful. Art lover. I moved to CBR to study public policy to enable me to engage on the social and economic roots of climate and environmental challenges, and have just accepted a full-time (dream) job on climate adaptation and resource management (wish me luck). In living arrangements, I really enjoy pooling resources and putting energy into a dwelling into a home, especially through shared shopping and cooking, and enjoying and being a gentle presence in home. While kids and animals love me, I'd like to live in a child-free/light home; pets are welcome although I currently have none of my own. I tend to be an early riser, and enjoy warm, well-lit spaces with gentle people who enjoy chewing over progressive ideas and at least a little practice of same. :-)
Hi there ! My name is Manu Prakaash, I am 33 years of age, and am from New Delhi, India. I have been a working professional for the Government of India for a while, and have now decided to take a break from my job and pursue further studies. I have got admission in the master of International Relations Program at the ANU, Canberra, which commences on 23rd July, 2018. However, I would be arriving in to Canberra on the night of 14th July, 2018, as the orientation week commences on 16th July. I am a matured, confident, and understanding & kind hearted individual. I am well travelled internationally and have many friends from across the world. Adjusting to the environment and culture in a country like Australia should not be a problem for me at all. And I am sure I would be accepted easily and would be able to make friends. I am looking at sharing a furnished flat with other people. I am flexible in terms of my requirements with regard to potential flatmates, as long as they are reasonable individuals.
I’m from a small country town couple of hours away, I love animals! I keep to myself I’m very tidy person. Stating to get into fitness while not at work :) I have said I do have pets, I’m hoping to be able to bring my dog with me but if not that will be fine ☺️
Hey all, my name is Nick. I'm looking for a room with its own bathroom within 10-15 minutes of the city (North or South is fine by me!) I'm a public servant and relatively new to Canberra. I'm social and friendly and love getting out and about to new restaurants, hiking spots etc. (you name it!), no stranger to the occasional Netflix binge, or the odd drink. I'm looking for roommates I can hang out with, but also appreciate the need for quiet time. I have lots of furniture to contribute if needed, and I'm happy to move into an existing house or team up with people looking to move.
Me and my gf, I think we are very helpful, understanding and compassionate couple. We both are moving in from perth, she is a nurse and I am a chef. We are looking anywhere near city and/or public transport. Please contact me, thanks heaps.
We are Claire (27, full time scientist) and Chilli (7, full time couch potato) and our parents have finally sold up the house, so we are looking for somewhere to live...from September 2018. Claire has been renting/share-housing since 2014, and Chilli is newer to the game but did so in 2016. A simple description of of us is boring - so clean, tidy, early risers with nanna-bed times who enjoy walkies. Claire is your average human - talks, exercises out of necessity, watches TV (mostly ABC), likes board games and escape rooms, is a dishwasher stacker/unstacker enthusiast, a good cook and an average baker. Chilli is housetrained and all round “good boy” (kid, dog + cat friendly - with NSW Green Collar) whose special skills include sleeping, collecting (soft toys, the occasional cushion), smooching and reclaiming unsupervised food... We spend most weekends (Fri night-Sun) in Sydney with Luke (Claire's husband + Chilli's dad) - Chilli goes too, but we spend about 1 weekend a month in town - and it'd be cool if you'd be okay with the occasional visit by Luke. We would like an unfurnished room, and do have some additional furniture so happy to share or loose it. Flexible with anywhere in Canberra/Queanbeyan, commutable to Deakin. Preferably we’d like you to like indoor dogs because Chilli hates the outdoors. There is the possibility for Chilli to live with his dad + fur siblings....but we'd prefer to be together.
