Hey! I'm Soraya - I am looking for an fun share house to move in to at the start of 2017, pretty flexible on time really. I am a social worker. I love to socialise, relax and have a few cheeky drinks. I would like a house where housemates spend time together as well as respecting each others space. I think I am easy to live with because I am quite laid back and easy to get along with! I am clean (but not crazy about it). I have a 3 year old english staffy named Dudley. He is very well trained and loves humans! We are a package deal, so housemates will need to be dog people.
We both love reading, animals, basketball, swimming, the odd social drink, movie nights and baking. Looking for easy going people to live with. Will be studying and working part time. $150 each or a little bit more providing utilities are included.
Hello! I am moving to Canberra to start work with the Australian public service. I have previously worked for a children's charity and before that I studied history at university. My mum is Australian but I have always lived in the UK so it is a really exciting change for me! I'm looking forward to exploring the city. I enjoy cooking, sports, going to galleries, and watching films. I'm looking for a friendly house that I can use as a base to get to know Canberra. I don't smoke, like to keep my room tidy, and would enjoy living in a relaxed and friendly house.
Hi! I'm looking for a flat mate as I am fairly new to Canberra. I am a young professional student who works full time. I'm a tidy person who respects others privacy but am always up for a laugh and to hang out :)
I'm a considerate housemate that keeps mostly to herself but likes to hang out as well. I enjoy baking when I can find the time. I enjoy historical dramas and pop culture sci-fi.
Hey all, I am a pretty going person. Not overly fussed about the noise. I do my fare share of the cleaning and maintenance in the house. Moved to Canberra to study at the ANU. I am working part-time at the ANU as well. Originally an expat kid, grew up in Japan and lived all over Asia/Australia. Currently learning Arabic, but can speak few other languages as well. I love the outdoors, and I go hiking almost every second weekend. I don't mind pets, so that's a non-issue for me. Send me a message if you have place. Cheers
Hi potential new housemates I am an Aussie who grew up in Perth and has spent the last 2.5 years roaming the world travelling, doing odd jobs and volunteering. i have decided it is time to be a physio again and have found myself a part time job in Florey starting January 23rd 2017. I am house trained, come with many a fabulous story and enjoy hanging out, cooking together, dance, hiking, picnics and playing outside. Let me know if you think I would be a good fit in your household. Cheers Avila
Quiet, relativity neat and courteous individual looking for a quiet house to rent for extended stay.
I'm a tidy, polite person to live with who loves a good chat. I'm a full-time University of Canberra Media Student from Brazil who enjoys video games, going shopping, watching movies, and TV shows (I love Game of Thrones), and making media, but also like some quiet time while I'm studying. I'm not much of a drinker, but I would have a few wines and go out occasionally, mostly when I'm not busy. I would prefer a place that is clean, respectful, and not a party house. I would like to live with people who are down to Earth, mature, clean their dishes, and pay their rent on time. I usually cook for myself, but don't mind a dinner get together.
I'm currently studying full-time at UC and working two part-time jobs. I have been living in Canberra for nearly a year coming from the Central Coast. I like to be social and chat but also understand the line of wanted privacy. I am clean and willing to pitch in where as needed. I'm quite easy going and enjoy having or good laugh or listening to some good tunes.
Hi future housemates! I am Clare. I’m on an early search-and-secure mission to find a new comfy place to live from late January 2017. About Your Place. It must be warm in Winter! (I really feel the cold!) Otherwise I am quite flexible re; house/unit/etc. I would prefer somewhere with nearby access to ACTION buses and within approx 30mins to Uni Canberra (although I am willing to consider most areas ie; Woden). Over the years I have shared with different genders, a variety of age groups, people from other countries and employed/students, so I know the Etiquette of house-sharing arrangements with a diversity of people. I would enjoy the occasional ‘group’ meal, chatting with other tenants or being independent depending on the vibe in the property. What I Will Bring. I am seeking a reasonable sized room to place a full set of queen size bedroom furniture. I will also bring with me general furniture which I am happy for other housemates to use. (If you have a lock-up shed to place unwanted furniture, that would be ok too.) I also have a lot of great quality kitchen appliances too as I like to cook and bake. About Me. I am a Transgender female and have a 'youthful' personality for my age! Although I like to socialise, I am generally quiet at home. I am a tidy person who cleans up after themselves and is respectful of other tenant's privacy. Sports-wise, I like Bikram Yoga, Badminton and Swimming. I'll be studying a Bachelor of Health Sciences at the University of Canberra next year. There is the possibility that I may work fulltime and study part-time if the perfect job falls my way over the next few months. At this stage, I will need to move into a new place from 21st or 28th January. I should be back in Canberra from approx 14th Jan for inspections, etc. Contact me if you have any questions ...
I work in public service, am easy going, and more importantly, neat and clean lol. I'm from Sydney however hoping to move to the capital short term for work. I love a good debate, enjoy catch up with friends, cooking Italian food and movie nights. I would prefer a female flatmate, possibly someone who doesn't drink or smoke.
I am starting an apprenticeship in Canberra, looking for a quiet place to live and nice decent people to live with. I am a country boy, with a quiet disposition and not a party animal. Just want to find my feet and get stuck into my career becoming a builder. From Crookwell, will most likely go home every weekend for a start. Can have a joke and be social. Dont smoke, dont have a pet, just me.
Hey folks I'm 24 and my name is Ty! I currently work part time as a Bartender/Waiter at Bellavista Restaurant where I've been for 2 years, and will be resuming full time work around February. I'm a very sociable and comfortable person to live with, however respect other peoples personal space and often like to enjoy my own, I'm a big reader and love writing. I clean up after myself, pay rent on time and all that good stuff. I'm preferably looking for long term stay, 6 months at least. Somewhere close to Belconnen! The atmosphere of the house I'm moving into is important to me, I enjoy living with lovely down to earth people of all ages! Some of my other interests include camping, snowboarding, music, art and just spending time in the company of good people! Thank you, Ty
Hi guys, My Name is Leah i am a 27yr old Chef. I have been a chef for the past 11 years and still enjoy cooking at home. I currently live in Sydney but am looking to move down to Canberra in the new year. I will be coming along with my fur baby also known as Zeus. He is 2 years old and an adorable (Large) labrador x mastiff. I am very outgoing and love going out for random activities but also love plonking in front of the tv after work and watching netflix for a good few hours. I play a lot of sport so will be finding a Soccer team and also AFL team once i get to Canberra. I enjoy hanging out with mates and going for beers. I am a clean person and am prepared to help out where/when needed. I am after some like minded people who are down to earth and keen for a beer every now and then. Hi! I am 25, single and looking for somewhere to live in Canberra. I've been renting for the past four years in Canberra but my lease is ending shortly. I work 7am - 4pm, five days a week and when I am at home I enjoy relaxing and unwinding. I am away most weekends with sporting commitments.
I am a 27 year old girl who is social but at the same time likes a little bit of privacy. I am very responsible as a person and helpful as well. I do know how to cook, clean and keep my stuffs tidy. I am coming to the University of Canberra for my further studies early next year.
Jermaine, looking for a place to call home with some people that I would like to eventually call friends! I work Full time, Mon-Fri! Play Rugby union, guitar and just love listening to all types of music! Easy going, keen for a laugh. But also respect others space!
I'm a bubbly and friendly person who is easy to get along with. I keep to myself usually and work Monday to Friday as well as spending time with my friends so, I don't spend a huge amount of time at home. If we make friends though, I would be happy to cook dinner for everyone occasionally and have a drink or two together. I'm clean, tidy and respectful. I'm well organised and am able to work in with the needs of others (eg. Bathroom schedules etc, if required). I'm moving into a share house to save myself some money, as I have been living by myself for a while now. I aim to save and travel or buy my own place. Please note - although I am a smoker, it's generally a social occurrence. Im respectful of others wishes, I don't smoke inside and will only smoke outside the house on occasion if it is okay with others. If not, I can easily go without. It isn't a deal breaker for me.
Quiet & tidy. Good company but respect other people need for space. Have a 6 yr old dog, well trained. Loves growing veggies. Not a party person but enjoys a movie together. Will be puntucal in paying rent.
Hey there :) , I've been living in Sydney for the last 6 months working full time and backpacking. I've lived in Canberra before and now I am moving back to study full time and work. I am pretty social, love all the arts and cooking (sometimes). I am very organized, clean and easy to get along with. I am looking for a private room with a built in wardrobe :)
Looking to see what currently available and if there are some people out there roughly around my age looking for a room mate! Okay to move out at any time, just trying to find the right people to live with. Prefer to have the master bedroom with ensuite if possible as I don't particularly like sharing bathrooms which comes from previous times with room mates being grubs (the worst!) Not looking to live too far away from the city or Belconnen and not looking to live on the Southside either, inner south is okay but nothing further (sorry peeps) I work full time as a PA and enjoy sports, online gaming, music, gigs, hanging out at home and good food and drink! I am in a relationship and would like to live together but I know not all places have space for couples but keen to see what's available if not that's totally cool! Please feel free to message me if I suit what you are looking for in a flat mate :)
Hi there I am a full-time Assistant Manager at KFC. I also study part time at CIT. Very clean and tidy person that can get along with other people very easily. Currently looking to move somewhere ASAP. Work and study takes up most of my life, but always have time to have a laugh, a few drinks and socialise.
Hey guys, I have recently graduated and have fortunately secured a 1 year grad program in canberra. I'm originally from the Sydney. Love to cook and bake, plus like being physically fit. So I guess gym is my forte. My grad program starts end of this month (october). Hit me up with a message if your interested.
I'm looking for an affordable and comfortable place to stay in the ACT, because I love living around Canberra. I work as a translator, and although I am friendly, I am also introverted and I mostly keep to myself. In my spare time, I enjoy playing video games and reading. I'm not naturally tidy, but I don't like filth, so I may leave things lying around sometimes but otherwise I keep things clean.
I'm an easy going person - I work part time at Canberra Zoo and also study at ANU where I'm finishing my third year. I have spent six years living overseas so I'm quite flexible and interested in other people. I'm not a wild party animal but I do enjoy the company of other people. I have a friend that I went to school with in Singapore who is hoping to relocate to Canberra and join a share house with me as his family are moving to the Philippines. So it would be great if the house had 2 rooms to rent. That would be the ideal situation.
We are a warm and friendly Filipino couple with a little girl (2 years old). I am an Architect by profession and my wife is a Document Controller. We are planning to migrate to Canberra in around April 2017 and we are looking for a sharing room to rent as we hopefully prepare to start a wonderful life in Canberra.
Hi my name's Geeta, i'm a second year (going on third) at UC and am 19 years old. I work part time in the belconnen mall, so i am really looking for places in Belconnen or Bruce as i don't drive! A furnished place would be nice, but if not, that's not a hassle either. I am outgoing and friendly, but i also keep to myself and spent most of my time in my room, or out with friends. But i love making new friends and meeting new people, if that's more your style! I really need to move out ASAP, i can provide previous referee's from people i have lived with and rented from, if you would like- just message me! :)
I'm a very easy-going guy who works in hospitality. I've lived and worked in Canberra for many years and am returning there now after a few months' sea-change near Batemans Bay. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the guitar (quietly) and playing online games. I'm also great at cooking and washing up.
Extremely tidy and clean, easygoing, quiet, not into partying at home, friendly, like to cook. Carpenter, have lived in Canberra all my life. Like watching movies, gym, keeping fit, being with friends

Hey! I'm Astrid. I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane in early January to start working full-time in Parliament House. I've just completed my university degree, studying IT, and am super keen to pursue this new opportunity. Don't let that little '20' next to my name fool you, I think the fact that I'm moving to Canberra for work at my age should say enough about the kind of person I am. I'm a hard worker, though I'm also up for a few casual drinks or meals after work, but I am by no means the partying and clubbing type. I'm really looking forward to having more time to get out and about and exercise, so if you're into rock climbing, road tripping, kayaking, bike riding or whatever else then that's great! I'll be heading down to Canberra on the 3rd of January, but I've generously been given 3 weeks temporary accommodation by my department, so I'm sorted for somewhere to live until the 24th. However, I would really like to spend that time searching for a new place to call home, and would love to come and check out any places or catch up for a couple drinks to meet any new potential housemates. I'm not particular on the length of time, but I'm not looking for short-term accommodation. 4 to 12 months + would be great!
I'm a 21 year old uni student, studying law and as well as working part-time. Next year I will be in my last year of study, so I'm not really concerned where in Canberra I live (so long as I have a house). I also work as a paralegal (yes like Rachel from Suits). I am outgoing, talkative person. Always up for a hang out but also appreciative of space. Also like my living space clean. I'm looking for like-minded people, who don't mind a hang out every now and again. But also appreciate the need for space and quiet when studying. In my spare time I like to hike, scuba dive and generally get out of the house. Hit me up if you want to know more, I never know what to say in these things. :)
I have just secured a role in Canberra, as I live in Melbourne at the moment I will require living arrangements in early January 2017. I work in the Occupational health sector. I have been informed that I will be in Canberra on the 19th of December approx. to do a handover with my predecessor for several days before they finish up. I was hoping to have a look at a few properties during this time. Call me to discuss further. Thanks
I am friendly, neat and quiet mature age student (part time) looking for reasonably priced share house arrangement for 2017. After many years in Sydney and overseas I am returning to Canberra to be closer to my family, start a new job (4 days a week) in January and continue my studies. I am not much of socialiser but I am reliable when it comes to paying rent (and other household costs) and helping out with the maintenance of house. I prefer living in long-term sharing set-ups and I have been living with my current flatmates for the last 3 years and we have all been on good terms. I am sad to leave Sydney but I am hopeful and thinking positively about new prospects in the ACT.
