Hi there! :) My name is Friederike and I'm a 25-year old literature student from Germany, moving to Melbourne to study Creative Writing at Deakin University! :) I love travelling and getting to know other countries: I've lived and worked as a barista in Auckland, New Zealand for a year after finishing school and also did a work internship in Reykjavík, Iceland last year. Apart from that, I travel and explore the world around me as much as I possibly can! My passions include yoga, all things creative, great coffee, books, vegetarian cooking and baking, listening to and making music (mostly metal and (punk) rock but I'm open-minded!), socialising in general as well as enjoying fresh air and the ocean. :) Concerning living with me, I love a good mix between socialising as flatmates and privacy. I'm quite ambitious about my studies and so I need my daily alone-and-quiet time - but at the same time, I enjoy cooking together/simultaneously and spending time together as flatmates! It's the cosiest thing ever, right? I also like being out and about during my free time and I'm not a "couch potato". When it comes to tidying and cleaning, a clean kitchen and bathroom are an absolute must for me. ;) If you can imagine living with me, drop me a message! I'm looking forward to getting to know you. :) ... oh and one last note: my preferred length of stay is in fact roughly 5 months but this website doesn't offer this option. :D
Studying double major in Environments at MelbUni, I tend to spend long hours at library. So when I am home, I like to cook or read a bit. Not a party fan nowadays due to my schedule. Also work part time as barista in a coffee shop. Plus I love making people laugh so I am willing to have a healthy social communication with my roommates. Also I like to have a clean house, so I am up to help in household duties.
Hi I'm Hannah and I'm currently studying both a Bachelor of Science at RMIT and Veterinary Nursing. Moving out of my current place because it's too expensive and looking for something a bit closer to Camberwell where I am work placement. I am looking for my own room in either a little granny flat or a share house with some similarly aged people that is close to public transport so I can get into the city easily for uni! I am super friendly, love to socialise but at the same time respect other people's privacy. I love animals and somewhere where I could look after animals (looking at fostering) would be great but not necessary. I always clean up after myself and have been living in a sharehouse for the last two years so I know the drill! Message me if you think you might have somewhere I might like :) Hannah

Hello, I'm Amr originally Egyptian and have been living in Australia for about 5 years now. I am moving to Melbourne from Brisbane for a new position in renewable energy working for an Australian engineering firm. I'm pretty chilled and friendly but I really appreciate privacy and space, I'm cosmopolitan and have many interests among which are music, outdoor adventures. I'm looking to be fully relocated in Melbourne by mid-February close to my firm's Docklands office within cycling distance as I like to commute with my road bike. I have furniture and appliances that can be relocated to conveniently fill an empty apartment or my future room, however, i don't mind downsizing as necessary. I'm open to team up with a likeminded person to get a nice apartment close to the city and happy to share my furniture for common use. I also have a car so enclosed/off-street park will be necessary. I'm currently in Egypt for a vacation with my family and will return 1st or 2n of Feb to Melbourne first to look for a place, If you happen to be interested to team up or have a place to share that i can call home, hit me up for a chat :) Cheers!
We are a couple, Justyna and Sebastian, Justyna is from Poland and me from Argentina. We moved one week ago to Australia and planning to stay for at least 6 months. We are also very friendly and easy to get along with. We like doing sport, biking, gym, swimming.
Hey, I'm Lily, currently full time student doing a bachelor of film meaning I pretty much spend most of my time either watching shows or studying. When I'm not I'm often reading or drinking gallons of tea. I'm always respecting of housemates and how they like to keep things, so I pretty much slide into however the house is currently running. If you have any questions let me know, would love to hear from you. Looking for a place to move asap, preferably before uni starts back up again on the 5th of Feb. I listed a few suburbs, but most of Melbourne is fine :) Thanks

Hi I am moving to Melbourne from Berlin in February. I am gonna be studying Economics at the University of Melbourne. I am looking for a room or shared house for rent. About me: I like languages, sports, clubs and of course nice people. I am a tidy and cheerful person, looking forward to living in Melbourne :) Parallel to my studies (Business B.Sc., Economics M.Sc) I´ve been working in marketing in the past 3 years (both offline retail and online) and I intend to continue my career on this field, I really love what I do. I also model sometimes, but it´s not where my primary focus is. I am a very friendly person, I gladly take my share in house chores (shopping for groceries is something I even take pleasure in), happy to have meals or some drinks together, especially if there is a movie or a board game to it :) I make friends really easily but I am also very independent and leave people their space. I don´t have pets but I love animals, so if you have one that´s great. I am not gonna spend too much time at home though, I am coming to Australia to explore its beauty, rather than sitting around. But if you have friends over to play cards, or drink something I am always happy to join! :P Cheers, Norbi

Hello, My name is Arran and I am a 22 year old IT Engineer from the UK. I am one of the few people in the world to work in IT whilst having people skills. I come from a humble background and have been raised to show respect to others at all times. I am also an excellent cook (who cleans up after himself) so by all means please let me prove this to you and I am happy to show you recipes. In my home if you cook you don't do the washing up but that never seems to be the case when i do.. Overall I am a happy confident individual who's easy to get along with and has a love for music, technology, football and production. If you want to know anything else feel free to ask! Oh, i also have a twin brother who is 2 1/2 minutes older than me. Sincerely, Arran
