Hey I'm Brodie! I'm a super easy going Canadian gal who has been living in Melbourne since January working full time in fashion design! I'm looking for a comfy place to call home, and a roommate who feels the same way. Preferably furnished since I don't have anything with me, but can manage to furnish my own room if need be. I am really clean, tidy, and laid back, and would love a roommate to have the occasional dinner/ glass of wine / chat/ boogie with. I want us to get along and be friendly but I am also respectful of personal space. For fun I love going for brunch (who doesn't), chugging wine (who doesn't), Netflix binging (who doesn't) and trying out all the amazing restaurants and cafes this city has to offer. Also would be ideal if we could motivate each other to work out once in a while... or not. Drop me a line and lets make this house a home!
Hey! I am a Masters student in Monash University, caulfield campus. I am looking for a place for myself to call it home.. I am generally very tidy, like to keep things clean and am very friendly. ( so we could make great friends ;)). However I respect an individual's privacy because I have a good enough experience of living in shared houses before. I like to explore new and exciting places in my free time. Let me know if there is something for me Thanks :), Amitayush
Hey there, I’m a professional guy from Adelaide, but time to move out now because of work and possible future studies at uni. My current house lease is going to expire on 29-07-2018, so my moving date in Melbourne is 28 July 2018. I am into outdoors, rd trips, exploring new things and places. Music is therapeutic for me and i’ m always down for a good meal, cooking or TV/Netflix with housemates. I am a tidy person and someone who loves to keep everything clean after myself. I am very respectful, reasonably private but social, always happy for a chat but not a party person. I come with a car so off-street parking is a bonus otherwise on-street is just fine. I want to have a nice cosy room and chill place to come home to each night. As I mentioned, I need a room ASAP. Happy to pay upfront rent for a good place. Don’t hesitate for further chat. Cheers!
I've moved from Singapore to pursue my Masters full time at UniMelb. Being cheery, supportive and curious, I am open to having hearty discussions around various topics. I am comfortable being part of a group and also appreciate quiet time to work on my projects.
About me- name's Kevin, a 3rd year full-time student at the University of Melbourne. Will be quite active during this semester and usually in the evening I like to be active (i.e. exercise/do some activity) . Looking for a calm/relaxing vibe home as I am myself and looking to stay till the year's end or longer.
Hi, I'm Violet, I'm 23 years old. I have three small dogs named Amber, Isla and Lily. They are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and they are very friendly and well behaved and love people. They are indoor dogs, and they normally just spend all day in my room and sleep on my bed when I am not home or else they just like to play with their toys. I am looking to live with people who love dogs and who also respect them. They are my companion animals so they need to be with me. Fencing is required around property as I do take them outside to stretch their legs and go to the toilet. Please be aware that I do have dogs before you enquire with me and don't get a shock when I tell you later. I am a full time student at Box Hill Institute studying a Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services. I am on Centrelink benefits, so I am financially stable and will pay rent and bills on time. I am not interested in a party house, and I don't like smoking and drugs. I rarely drink alcohol, just on the odd occasion. I am clean, and I will do my share of the housework such as cleaning the kitchen and dishes, the bathroom and also after my dogs as they are my responsibility. I am looking for somewhere clean and safe to live for my pets and I. Unfortunately where I am currently living isn't working out, so I need to find somewhere new. I have my own furniture such as bed, fridge, desk, shelves, TV etc. so a furnished room is not an issue. I need to be in Eastern Melbourne, such as the Whitehorse, Knox, Boorondara and Maroondah areas as they are close to school, my partner, friends and my activities. I also have a partner and he normally comes to stay with me on weekends. Thanks so much!
Easygoing, clean, house trained, likes to cook and get out and about. Mostly quiet nights in, with a glass of red. Working a new project, so I will be quite busy for next couple of years. New to Melbourne after around 35 years in Sydney.
I'm an easy going guy who is respectful of my roommates, clean up after myself, and am not a clean freak but do like the place to be clean and tidy. Prefer that the party stay out of the house and at the club, but don't mind the occasional cocktail with a roomie. Would love to find a roomie that could also be a friend. Getting into cooking more at home and like to share meals with others. Would love to meet up for a cup of coffee and discuss options. Looking for a private bedroom preferrably with own bathroom or share with one other person.
Looking forward to occupy a room which needs a responsible tenant 😀 A 23yo software developer working for an IT company in the city (mon-fri). Technically I bash my fingers on my keyboard to earn my bread. In short you'll end up knocking my door if your computer/electronics face any issues 😛 Pretty easy to get along with (you'll notice it too :) ) Love hanging out around the city on weekends. Not a chef, but I keep testing my skills in cooking every now and then and would appreciate if you could help me name my recipes. Occasionally a Netflix geek 😅
Hey, I'm 35, well-traveled across the world, worked in various cultures, multilingual and have a variety of interesting experiences to share. I am easy to get along, well-mannered, tidy, well organized and love to read. I am an experienced finance professional (Chartered Accountant and Management Accountant) and moving to Melbourne from overseas. I have previously lived in Melbourne briefly in 2015 and have a close circle of friends here. I would like to find a housemate who is easy to get along. I am a hopeless cricket fanatic and have been following cricket matches from as early as the early 1990s. My cricketing nirvana was to watch the WorldCup final live in Melbourne on March 29, 2015. I like to strike a balance between work and being fit and although I am not a gym goer but try to walk the miles to keep in shape. I am committed to continuing education and was studying as recently as 2017. I love to travel and have had the chance to extensively travel across the Middle East, Europe and Far East Asia together with my wife. I am looking for something that is short to medium term until my wife joins me close to the mid-November. I am aiming to move in around the week starting Monday, September 17th. Please give me a call or send me a text if you would like to get in contact. Cheers, Umair
Hi! I’m Jess! I’ve just moved over from Perth and looking for a funky little place to call home. I’m pretty chill and easy going, so happy doing my own thing or hanging out together! As I’m new to town would love to find someone to help me out with the local tips on where to check out orupnfor gatching a foott game. Let’s be roomies ☺️
Hi there! I’m 28 years old and working full time in HR. I’m tidy, organized, very easygoing and adaptable! I love going out for nice dinners and drinking wine 🍷. Also love my nights in watching Netflix 😊. In my spare time I love to nap haha! I'd also ideally be bringing along my iMac with me that I'm more than happy to share with my housemate/s as well as my car 😊. Hoping to find a place near or around South Yarra for $300 p/w (including bills) that also has all day unrestricted parking available (at or nearby) and my own bathroom.
My name is Manu, I'm a 29 years old Spanish that has been around Melb for the last year. I work full time as a financial auditor, but always find time to do some fun stuff. Looking for easy going, clean, respectful flatmates to share some adventures and good moments with.
A little about me.. Mid week I’m a professional, early bed/rise, try to hit the gym, love reformer Pilates and like to relax over the odd dinner out, glass of vino or Netflix. Weekends I like to make the most of the day, get outdoors, catch up with friends, exploring the city and rural Victoria. In a share house I like to make it my home and get to know my roomie(s), ideally someone you can call a friend whilst maintaining independence. And I’m a clean, tidy responsible adult! Preference is to share with any gender in a similar life stage, (not couples) I want my own bathroom and I need somewhere to park my car. Searching for a new spot as my current housemate is looking to buy. Flexible move date but I need to give 4wks notice.
My name is Annika and I am a laid back and outgoing student from California, United States of America! I'm doing a study abroad program at Deakin Burwood starting in January, but wanted to enjoy a few months in Australia before my program begins (I will be looking to move September). I visited Australia in May which is what made me want to do this - I loved the environment, the food, and of course the people. During my stay I will be taking online classes from my school back in America, spending time with my boyfriend and his family who are Melbourne locals, and working as well. I'm a very clean, organized and easy to live with individual. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi potential housemate! I am an international student from Singapore. I will be starting my undergraduate in Film and Television Production in September. I love coffee, movies, music, photography and all types of art. I am friendly, chill, easy going, neat and open to other cultures. I am sociable, happy to hang out during my free time but also respect people's privacy (I undestand everyone likes their alone time) :)
We are a very quiet couple with 2 adorable dogs (tiny Pekingese's and 1 fluffy cat). We don't socialize much and are into a Zen lifestyle. We are a bit hipster in some ways (food/music/tastes) but are really easy to get along with. We keep to ourselves and won't bother you unless you want to share a meal or something or just general politeness etc. We are more like a middle-aged traditional British couple actually than typical Australians! I work casual/part-time for the government as a temp and my partner Jon works full-time as a Technician. We are after a quiet male housemate ideally to team up with and get a 3 bedroom home. We've been renting for 5 years in a small 2 bedroom flat in Alphington and need more breathing space and ideally a nice yard for the pets. We have a very nice brand new and upscale furniture and appliances already so just need to furnish your own room as we can bring everything else. Our pets are like our kids so you'd have to be an animal lover too. They are super cute though and adorable. We actually have a place in mind in Glen Iris which is close to Jon's elderly mother so hopefully, we can find someone quickly to team up with. You'd need to have a good accommodation history for the application and we are planning to live there long-term (1+ years or more).
I am Shirui, or you can call me Iris. I'm from China. I am a full time PhD student from The University of Melbourne. I will spend most of time at school, includes some weekends. Respect privacy. Clean & Tidy. Easy going and fun. Love to cook, city sightseeing, reading, Netflix, HBO and Hulu. (It seems I have delays of receiving SMS, so you can e-mail me or leave messages online, I'll reply you ASAP.)
