Hi, I am 39 but look and feel like I am still 28! I grew up in Canberra, but have travelled around Aus / Europe & USA for the last 19 years working in many interesting roles from recruitment, sales management, marketing etc and DJing on the side. I am from a large Italian/ Aussie family and although this is the first time I've lived in Melbourne its always felt like a second home to me as I've visited family here since I was a spring chicken. Started a full time sales job in Richmond last week and currently residing with a close friend in Heidelberg, so I am keen to move asap closer to the city / work. I have mostly shared flats with people over the last number of years and have never rarely had any issues with it, as I find its all about being respectful and reliable and a great way to meet new people and create friendships in a new city :) The type of people I tend to get along with the most organically are usually well travelled, interesting, healthy, have a good sense of humour and are creatives in music/ design. I am a fit, non smoker, single guy (no kids) with a good sense of humour and although I'm not a pancake expert, I do know a tosser when I see one!!!
Hi, I'm Jake from Charlotte, North Carolina, USA and I am on a working holiday visa. I've been traveling since August 2016 and have been in Australia since March 2017. I've traveled most of western Europe, Morocco, Israel, and Vietnam prior to coming to Australia. I've lived in Sydney and the Gold Coast and have now moved to Melbourne to spend the entire summer. I am looking for a lease at least until March 1, and maybe longer, as I am trying to stay in Australia permanently via a sponsorship or a work visa, and Melbourne already seems like a great place. I am a great roommate to have as I am clean, considerate, and respectful. I am social and active, and I will have a full time job while here in Melbourne. I enjoy working out at the gym, playing soccer, riding bicycle around Melbourne (yet to be purchased), THE BEACH, movies (of course), with the occasional night out on the weekend. I'm also a pretty good cook. I worked for Lion Nathan (XXXX/Tooheys) in Sydney for 4 months, and then got a more casual job at The Coffee Club in Gold Coast. Here in Melbourne, I will likely do construction work of some sort or work an office job. I am looking for jobs now, but I can ensure that I have no money issues as I worked for a large mortgage bank for many years back in North Carolina. Thanks and I look forward to meeting you.
Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by to check out my profile. A little about me! I work full time at an auto dealership in west melbourne and have been employed there for around 3.5 years. If im not at work you'll find me at the gym or socializing with friends and family. Im currently living in ringwood and officially have had enough of the commuting hence why I'm here :) Im tidy and clean (can be a little ocd when in the mood lol) considerate of others, reliable and trustworthy. My personality is outgoing and friendly, love to have a chat but also enjoy my own time too. There is also an additional member who will be coming with me - his name is Gary (yes, from the spongebob cartoon!) Is a orange long haired cat, i get him clipped for hygiene and comfort during the warmer months and hes so cuddly and affectionate. I hope you will grow to love him as much as i do. So thats a little about me! Looking forward to hearing from you. Steph :)
My name is Ali, I'm 36 and a student. I'm currently obtaining my Diploma in Youth and Community Services. Although I'm not home most times, I do enjoy good company (I love to discuss any topic, controversial or otherwise), cooking and maintaining a light mood all around. Most of all, I take great pride in keeping my immediate living quarters clean and presentable. Here is my current situation: I am unhappy where I reside. Please don't get me wrong, the folks here are fantastic but it is incredibly expensive and it is isolated. I wish to be somewhere more centralised where public transport and amenities are more available, not to mention be closer to family and friends.
My name's Jordan and I'm a 21 year old creative from the Gold Coast. I studied Film at University and graduated in early 2016; I've since been living and working in Sydney. After over a year's production work, I've recently returned from a much needed Euro trip, where I spent a few months between Paris, Berlin and Amsterdam. I'm now in the process of driving down to Melbourne for work and am looking for a short term sublet, where I can settle in, apply for my own lease and prepare for the following working year. On my weekends I like to work on my own personal projects, taking photos, soaking up the sun in the gardens and exploring new places. I'm ultimately looking for a bunch of down to earth, open minded roommates who I can have a drink with and chat at the end of the day! Look forward to hearing from you soon.
Hi All, My name is Sam and I am moving to Melbourne for a new job. I am looking for chilled housemates who are always up for a laugh. I pay rent on time and I am very tidy - mainly because I don't have a lot of stuff. Looking to move in in either Mid December or early January. Feel free to give me a jingle if you have anything on offer. Cheers, Sam
I am an IT professional working full time as a developer and analyst in South Melbourne. I love travelling in and out of the country. I am an open minded person, and love doing outdoor recreational activities. On weekends, I usually do camping, enjoying a pint of beer with either my Uni friends or colleagues at work.
I'm Will, I'm from the UK and before I came to Australia I was a furniture salesman. But like many people I was bored of my job and didn't want to spend this part of my life wasted in one place so I decided to pack up and start again. I'm looking for a place to stay in Melbourne as I'm really liking this city's wonderful weather, culture, variety of food and abundance of wifi. And hopefully make a few friends while I'm here =). I'm looking for a private room (with ideally a double/ queen size bed but it's not essential) as I do prefer a bit of personal sleeping space/ somewhere to relax by myself but will happily socialise with and spend time to get to know any future house/ flatmates and don't mind how many people are in the property (the more the merrier =D). I can move in (to the right place) as soon as you need. I think of myself as a pretty chill guy with an excellent sense of humour and a terrible attention span. I enjoy binge watching good TV, Netflix and Youtube videos (massive Game of Thrones fan of course XD), listening to good music, dank memes, socialising with friends i.e drinking, gaming (played a lot of League of Legends before I left... poorly I might add) and going out for meals, films etc. I used to do a lot of running and football and hopefully will get back into it soon, as my old job fattened me up a bit and I'm definitely in need of the exercise =P.
Help! In search of two rooms from the Northern suburbs (the cheaper the better) and good laughs. Fitzroy/Brunswick/Northcote/Preston/Coburg etc... We are two quirky gals from the North Pole, looking for a shot-ish term, warm home for the next 3 months. We appreciate good food, music and arts, chats about aliens, cheap wine and good doggos. It's a plus you have any fur friends at the house! Also able to cook really amazing vege lasagna. Please hit me with a message if you would be keen to meet and help us!
Hi! My name is Mia, I'm 25 years old, looking to move out by January 1st, 2018. I'm studying psychology and I work as a telephone counsellor at a 24/hr men's crisis and suicide intervention service in Footscray. Sounds stressful AF but the work is super rewarding and I actually really enjoy it! Self-care is integral to being a counsellor, so when I'm not working I love to write, cook, hike, read, watch trash 80s horror movies, and go to gigs. I'm not really into having massive drug-fueled house parties, but I am sociable and always up for the ole glass of wine + cheese platter + an episode of Bachie/Ru Paul's Drag Race combo :) If you are LGBT+ friendly, smoke-free, and looking for a female housemate in the areas of Hawthorn, Toorak, South Yarra, Richmond etc., then hmu, I love meeting new people! Yay!
I'm Jackie, a 22 year old nursing student. Most of my time is filled with study but in my spare time I keep fit an active either in the gym or at pole dancing! Super chilled, respectful and clean housemate. Looking for a space I can have my time to study but also a fun bunch of housemates who are down to chill! Ready to move into a place after Feburary 1, 2018.

Hi! My name's Sam and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I’m a 29 year-old male working in tech support and studying physics at RMIT (not to be confused with psychics… I cannot tell the future, sorry in advance). I keep pretty busy during the week, but love to come home to hang out, share a meal (pumpkin pesto pasta is my specialty), have a few drinks, listen to some music or binge watch a TV series or two (currently obsessed with Stranger Things). I also apologise in advance for getting too emotionally invested in the footy. I’m really considerate and clean, especially of all the shared spaces in the house. I’ve lived in share houses before, so I’m pretty comfortable with all the unwritten rules of housemate life. Ideally, I’m looking at anything from $500-760 p/month. Location wise, inner city is good but mostly it’s about finding great housemates who can become great friends. If you’ve got a spare room, or know someone who does, get in touch. Cheers Sam
Originating from Adelaide, I am a newly graduated vet who is moving to Melbourne for the year. I enjoy socialising (but do need my own space from time to time), keeping fit, I love to brunch and looking very forward to exploring a new city! Looking to move late Dec as I am starting work in early January.
FEBRUARY MOVE-IN DATE Hi! I'm an international student (from the U.S.) starting my Master's degree at the University of Melbourne in 2018. I'm looking for a room near the Parkville campus, ready to move-in in February. (Unfortunately, I don't arrive in Australia until the very end of January) A bit about me: I love cats (and dogs), volunteering, learning new languages, reading, baking, hiking, and occasionally playing video games. I'm very open minded and enjoy having a drink and a good chat. I will happily bake you cookies!
Hey! I'm Ella, 22 y/o Kiwi moving back to Melbs and looking for a chill place to live. I lived in Melbs for two years before moving back to NZ for work in May. Now I am looking to move back in Jan 2018. Looking for a room in a share house, or some cool people to get a place with. Social, easygoing and clean. Like to travel go on adventures and hang out with friends.
I'm a bubbly and super friendly girl (woman?) who really wants a place to call home with a group of cool people. I work quite a lot but I love coming home to friends and Netflix (preferably together). I like me time but I also like to go out every once in a while and have nice dinners :) . I'm also a very clean and tidy person and would like to live with like minded individuals. I thrive with housemates with open minds and open hearts who I can have great conversations with and be like a family with.
Currently living in Sydney, but will be moving to Melbourne for work at the end of November. Am a veggo, non-smoker, social drinker (whiskey please), environmentally and ecologically conscious, animal biology lover, painter, lived in North and South America, bi-lingual (close to tri), well-travelled. Respectful of people's privacy as well as belongings but also want to live in a house where we may share meals occasionally, a few drinks and good conversations. Not into houses where everyone hides in their rooms. Having said that, I do highly value my alone time and will respect your need for yours. Open minded and relaxed. Love nature, science, but not a big TV or sports fan. My goal in life is to turn into an octopus, using that really big brain to learn about ocean life and stay underwater for the rest of my days, tending my little octopus garden.
